Dutch Blackened Death Metal band ONHEIL is returning to its Black Metal roots to kick off its 25th anniversary year. The band is releasing a digitally remastered version of the demo track “My Evil Side”, originally featured on their long-sold-out 1999 demo “Sterf”. With its raw and primitive sound, this track offers a glimpse into ONHEIL’s early years. Current fans and supporters can now experience this piece of history thanks to the re-release by Sweden’s BLACK LION RECORDS.
The re-release is accompanied by a music video composed largely of footage from ONHEIL’s first three years, when some band members were still in their teenage years. The video centers on their second live show and features shots from an unfinished music video, along with dark, ritualistic Black Metal imagery.
The “My Evil Side” single and music video mark the beginning of ONHEIL’s celebratory “25 Years of ONHEIL” campaign. This anniversary year promises to offer fans, known as The Omega Legions, a deeper insight into the band’s history. More unreleased and rare music, photos, and videos from their journey will be shared through their social media channels, and fans are encouraged to stay connected for the latest updates.
ONHEIL will also perform live shows and do tours during the anniversary, including special old-school sets featuring tracks exclusively from their demos and their debut album, ‘Razor’.
After overcoming lineup changes and Covid setbacks, ONHEIL made a return in June 2023 with their album ‘In Black Ashes’, released by BLACK LION RECORDS. This “furious yet melodic” comeback album received high praise from the metal media. Legendary producer Dan Swanö (Dissection, Opeth, Dark Funeral, Bloodbath, Marduk, Insomnium) handled the mixing and mastering at Unisound Studios, while vocals and drums were recorded by Jonathan Merrelaar at Red Pack Studios (Picture). Guitar recordings were assisted by Bart Hennephof (Textures) at Creative Music Lab.
With their sixth studio album, The End Will Show Us How, slated for release in five weeks, TREMONTI is back with the fourth track available in advance of the album. The title track “The End Will Show Us How” kicks off with the signature finger picking that has been a facet of Mark’s entire career. Singing about the moment of clarity that comes from the decisions made throughout life, TREMONTI paints a reflective portrait that becomes instantly relatable to every listener. Backed by Eric Friedman (guitars), Tanner Keegan (bass) and Ryan Bennett (drums), world-renowned guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Mark Tremonti delivers another mid-tempo classic to the TREMONTI catalog. The song is now available via all digital service providers.
With a musical catalog that includes 18 previously released full length albums from his work with Creed, Alter Bridge and various solo endeavors, the new album entitled The End Will Show Us How is scheduled for global release on January 10, 2025 via longtime partner, Napalm Records. Mark Tremonti is back with a collection of 12 original compositions that continue his musical evolution while showcasing his ability to write memorable songs – something he has done for nearly three decades.
Tremonti’s musicianship and songwriting is on full display on each song on The End Will Show Us How. Tracks like “It’s Not Over,” “I’ll Take My Chances” and “All The Wicked Things” show that Mark continues to create compositions that continue to engage audiences comprised of both old and new fans alike. “Nails” is a musical idea that Mark has had for years and finally found the inspiration to complete. “Tomorrow We Will Fail” is an inspirational piece that talks about not putting off until tomorrow something you can conquer today. “Now That I’ve Made It” is a message for anyone who has ever had anyone doubt them and try to hold them back from following their dreams. The album opener “The Mother, The Earth and I” is a personal favorite of Mark’s and sets the tone for what fans can expect from the rest of the album. The song talks about the connection that all people have to the planet Earth regardless of personal differences. The visually captivating music video depicts the message of the song with cinematic visuals created by director J.T. Ibanez (Sevendust, Hawthorne Heights, Loveless) and can be seen HERE. The debut single “Just Too Much” is currently in the Top 30 at Active Rock radio and moving up the charts with a bullet. An official music video for the single, also directed by J.T. Ibanez, can be seen HERE.
The End Will Show Us Howwas produced by longtime friend and collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette – the producer Mark has worked with exclusively since 2007.

About TREMONTI: After three decades, 18 full-length albums, and thousands of shows, Mark Tremonti continues to relentlessly push himself as a guitarist, a vocalist, and a songwriter, above all. This unstoppable drive has underscored his catalog earmarked by a GRAMMY® Award, cumulative streams in the billions, and total sales of 60 million units worldwide across his inexhaustible output with Creed, Alter Bridge, and solo band TREMONTI. Distinguished as Guitar World’s “Guitarist of the Decade,” selected as a flagship PRS endorsee, and celebrated on the covers of numerous publications worldwide, he approaches the guitar with an insatiable curiosity and innate need to create. At the same time, he constantly stretches his voice, reaching new heights with each subsequent project.
His voice, writing, and playing have supercharged Tremonti as a force in its own right. The band has delivered a string of celebrated releases, including All I Was [2012], Cauterize[2015], Dust [2016], A Dying Machine [2019] accompanied by an acclaimed novel of the same name co-written by Mark with John Shirley, and Marching In Time [2021]. Earning acclaim, KERRANG! hailed the latter as “another worthy chapter in its creator’s well-populated book,” and American Songwriter praised how “Marching In Time is structured around denser melodies and reflective epistles prodding around chunkier riffs.” Loudwire applauded the title track as “hypnotically epic,” and Guitar World readers voted “Now and Forever” as “The Best Riff of 2021.” Now, he levels up all around on his 19th overall LP and sixth TREMONTI full-length, The End Will Show Us How[Napalm Records].
With muscular grooves, evocative solos, heart-pumping riffs, and seismic melodic vocals, The End Will Show Us How is a testament to Tremonti’s legacy of ceaseless creativity and a triumph for him.
Germany’s dark metal pioneers NACHTBLUT have announced their seventh studio album, Todschick [eng: dead chic], set to be released on February 21, 2025 via Napalm Records. The quartet unveils ten new tracks, expanding their repertoire by incorporating various stylistic elements and 1980s-inspired synthesizer sounds, seamlessly blending this with their signature dark metal sound and Askeroth’s distinctive vocals.
The even more sinister and versatile offering follows their 2020’s successful album Vanitas, which reached #19 on the official German album charts. Produced by the renowned Chris Harms of Lord of the Lost, the wooden box set also includes a bonus CD with seven additional tracks, featuring collaborations with genre heavyweights – promising an extra surprise.
Today, NACHTBLUT unveils the beautifully gloomy title track, “Todschick”, together with an eerie official music video. Like death itself, it blends catchy synths with explosive riffs, embracing the inevitability of death while redefining the beauty of darkness. Place your pre-order now and listen to “Todschick” below for a taste of what’s to come! Plus, German fans should make sure to join the band as they hit the road in spring 2025. See below for all current dates!
NACHTBLUT about the new single: “With this song, NACHTBLUT embraces death and simultaneously reveals the beauty of darkness, redefining the word ‘Todschick’ (dead chic). As the title track of the album, it’s the perfect introduction to a new era.”
Embrace the Darkness: NACHTBLUT’s Todschick Marks a New Dark Metal Dawn
The monumental release of Todschick not only presents 10 fresh new tracks, but even offers a wooden box set which includes a bonus CD with seven additional tracks, featuring collaborations with guest artists such as Frank Herzig (Schattenmann), Freki (Varg), Tetzel (Asenblut/All For Metal), Eric Fish (Subway To Sally), and further top acts.
The melancholic track “Das Leben der Anderen” criticizes modern societal ills like doom-scrolling through social media, overlaying the seemingly perfect lives of others with guttural screams. Meanwhile, the dark, new-wave-synth track “Manchmal kommen sie wieder” explores the eternal cycles of creation, destruction and war. Some songs also reference film classics, including “Stirb Langsam,” a humorous celebration of escapism, which, in true NACHTBLUT style, conceals a sharp message. Tracks like “Kinder des Zorns” invite headbanging with especially hard riffs and tempo. With “Schneller als der Tod,” the band ventures into entirely new musical territory, seamlessly merging epic wild west elements with the powerful sounds of dark metal. Energetic melodies blend perfectly with Askeroth’s characteristic vocals, creating a unique atmosphere that brings the album to a striking conclusion, offering an unexpected musical twist.
With Todschick, NACHTBLUT not only masterfully enriches dark metal with captivating, genre-spanning sounds that set new accents, but also addresses contemporary societal issues, striking a chord with the times. This new masterpiece is an invitation to view the dark beauty of life and its challenges in a new light, and to join the band on their 2025 headline tour to experience it live!
NACHTBLUT on the new album: “Todschick is an album where death sets the rhythm, a musical blood kiss, in which the line between fiction and reality fades with every note.”

Metal powerhouse BLEED FROM WITHIN have announced their new album Zenith that’s set to be released on the 4th April via Nuclear Blast Records. Alongside the announcement, the band have revealed the video for new single ‘In Place Of Your Halo’, a thunderous shot of modern metal fury that pays homage to their native Scotland with a bagpipe-backed refrain for the ages.
On the news of their new album the band comment: “In Place Of Your Halo marks the beginning of the next chapter for Bleed From Within. It is an anthem for those that feel like life has passed them by, or those that have been held back by their own limitations. We are killing the older version of ourselves in order to grow. This develops our resilience, a topic that underpins this band’s journey and most of what we shout about. We’ve not had it easy, but neither has anyone else. This song is for all of us.
Through this growth, we come closer to our potential, our Zenith – the title of our 7th studio album. This is a body of work that we are so immensely proud of and look forward to sharing more of over the coming months. We couldn’t think of a more fitting introduction to our next steps as a band than a breakdown with some bagpipes over it. Plenty more new music to follow. Enjoy.”

“Mostly my writing comes straight from the heart. When I write music it has to come naturally. Melodies are very important to me and that’s why we have lot of melodic riffs in our songs. It tells you a story, it’s not basic death metal. I feel like I can show much more about myself with melodies. It’s something that I do. I don’t think a lot about which bands have inspired me, but i have to say that gothenburg’s melodic death metal scene from 90’s has inspired me a lot. But our music still has that Finnish melancholy. Both Finnish and Swedish melodic death metal is very important to me.” – Guitarist/Songwriter, Elias Vierimaa

Ahead of its release this Friday on the twisted Aesthetic Death roster, today No Clean Singing presents an exclusive stream of “Diagenesis”, the new LP from enigmatic funeral doom entity UNTIL DEATH OVERTAKES ME. Stream the album HERE.
“Diagenesis” is due out December 6th 2024 via Aesthetic Death.
White light died, aeons away from home. Reality is fundamentally altered. Mutilated, it lurches on, as if blind to what has gone missing, to what will never return.
UNTIL DEATH OVERTAKES ME (UDOM for short), active since 1999, resides somewhere in the more murky reaches of the doom genre. Often called ambient funeral doom, UDOM’s sound is always undergoing subtle changes, and delivers introspective musical journeys to and through the darker and more tortured places of the human mind.
Since inception, UDOM has released 18 albums. The majority of these were self-released, targeting primarily digital-only platforms. “Diagenesis” is a culmination of inner torments which, having grown over the years, finally find a release through 4 lengthy tracks. Starting with a dream through which the dead communicate for the very last time, and from which the realisation is born that the act of remembering, preserving, lies wholly with the living. Realising the burden is subject to one’s own slow decay, guilt so powerful it seems only death can solve it, sets in. Yet that same death will not be avoided, and until then, we may dream. “Diagenesis” ends with a tribute to the dead of whom memories are fading, which ends up speaking more of the own despair, eventually faltering as it realises it will never reach those who can no longer hear.
“Diagenesis”. The final act of the dead. To become one with the surroundings whence they came, to become indistinguishable from the rest of reality, and effectively, to vanish as if they’d never existed. To leave the living despairing with the knowledge that no matter how deep they dig, in earth and mind, the dead shall never be found again.
Bereavement ravages the mind, and time promises to blunt its strength. A pale wasteland may recover one day, but the guilt that comes with fading memories takes root instead. And here, time only strengthens it. As clear images become abstract dreams, guilt bears down with its growing, crippling mass.
The only ones to understand, who could ever forgive, have already gone ahead, and are those same ones fading out of view.
And when they’re truly gone, only death may forgive.
