Greek heavy/power metal force Sirius is thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter in their journey! The band proudly welcomes George Koursoumis as their new rhythm guitarist and marks the occasion with the release of the powerful lyric video for “Unbound The Scream.”
The band shares: “We’ve been silent for a while now…The last few months have been a whirlwind of emotions and actions for us. A new album is out and your response is overwhelming! We had to part ways with our long-time rhythm guitarist for personal reasons. We want to thank 𝑫𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒐𝒔 for the journey. But, with great pleasure, we would like to reveal the new addition to the 𝑺𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒔 family! Please welcome 𝑮𝒆𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆 𝑲𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒔 on rhythm guitar (and not only..)! Having George with us is a great boost for what is about to come! Show him some love in the comments and be prepared for more..”
To celebrate this new beginning, the band unleashed the lyric video for “𝐔𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦” which is the opening song of the album “𝐀 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞” and it was an honor to have Tim “Ripper” Owens as a guest vocalist. His powerful voice blends beautifully with our music! The song evolves around the personal struggles and inner fights we have as human beings to the point that we can’t take it anymore.

Golden Robot Records is thrilled to announce its latest signing – Judas Priestess, the groundbreaking all-female tribute band to heavy metal icons Judas Priest. This historic partnership marks the first time an all-female metal tribute band has inked a global record deal, breaking barriers and honoring the spirit of metal. To celebrate the occasion, Judas Priestess release their powerful new single, ‘Dissident Aggressor,’ out now.
Since their inception, Judas Priestess has captivated audiences with their hard-hitting performances, paying homage to one of metal’s most iconic bands while adding their own fierce, feminine edge. Known for their electrifying stage presence and skillful interpretations of Judas Priest’s catalog, the band has established itself as the “Top Tribute” in metal, with endorsements from industry legends. Rob Halford himself, the “Metal God,” praised the band in his recent book, Biblical, describing them as “brilliant,” while former Judas Priest lead guitarist KK Downing called Judas Priestess “Metal’s Top Tribute.”
Militia Vox, lead vocalist of Judas Priestess, expressed her excitement about the signing, stating: “Judas Priestess is excited to join forces with Golden Robot Records. We’ve been sitting on some recordings for a while, and we were about to release the songs independently, so, the timing of the signing was perfect. We are proud to share ‘Dissident Aggressor’ as our newest single – one of Judas Priest’s heaviest and most dynamic songs. It’s our first release in 5 years. We keep going because the fans that enjoy our interpretation of Judas Priest keep asking us to! This is for them. We honor and respect the legacy of Judas Priest by holding true to the song’s original style but with a feminine edge.”
JUDAS PRIESTESS: The World’s ONLY All-Female Tribute to the Metal Gods, JUDAS PRIEST, is a heavy metal phenomenon! Everyone from members of Judas Priest to your average rocker instantly falls head over heels in love and in awe of their chops, showmanship and their hot new take on classic metal.
Judas Priestess frontwoman Militia Vox dueted with the Metal God himself on supergroup Bad Penny’s track “PUSH COMES TO SHOVE” – making Militia the only singer to have a song with the person they’ve tributed! Militia and Judas Priestess are mentioned in Rob Halford’s most recent book Biblical – Halford calls them “Brilliant!” These metal ladies are featured in the documentary about funk-rock icon Betty Davis “They Say I’m Different” [now streaming on Amazon Prime], as well as on VH1’s “That Metal Show” – where they first received the blessing of the Metal God. Global TV, High Times magazine, Guitar World and KK Downing’s Steel Mill call Judas Priestess one of the top female bands in the world today.
The band religiously packs houses and events with frenzied fans all over the world. They have headlined House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and consistently play to a sold-out crowd at their anniversary show at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. They headline motorcycle events, such as Myrtle Beach Bike Week, Laconia Bike Week, Ocean City Bike Week, The Indian Larry Block Party and Dee Snider’s (Twisted Sister) Bikers For Babies. They were even hired by LIRR/ MTA to perform inside NYC’s historical Penn Station on a weekday during rush hour!
The girls have opened for Twisted Sister, Pentagram, Metal Allegiance and Action Bronson and have been joined onstage by Corey Glover (Living Colour), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Richard Christy (Iced Earth, Howard Stern show), grunge goddesses L7, Tony Harnell (TNT), Metal Mike (Halford, Sebastian Bach) and members of White Zombie, Monster Magnet, Vixen, The Bouncing Souls and The Plasmatics.
THE ANIX‘s electrifying album VOLTAGE has arrived from FiXT!
VOLTAGEchannels the darker side of modern life, blending alternative and electronic rock into a brooding, atmospheric soundscape. The album explores themes of isolation and introspection, with tracks that feel like drifting through an empty city at night. Gritty guitars and haunting synths weave together to create a melancholic, yet immersive, experience. With singles “Gravity” & “Shadow,” VOLTAGE showcases The Anix at his most introspective, crafting a sound that delves deep into the shadows of the urban experience. “Sinking Alone” is a captivating nod to ’90s grunge while also exploring contemporary themes of isolation. “PANIC” blends synth, drums, guitar, and bass to create a sound that is both expansive and deeply introspective, offering listeners a gateway into the artist’s private experiences. “CRAWL, a collaboration with Julien-K is a track that pays homage to their early 2000s roots while pushing the boundaries of modern alternative rock.
Finding inspiration from iconic bands like HUM, Weezer, Failure, and STP, ‘90s grunge, and the 2000s, and featuring an appearance from Julien-K, VOLTAGE is more than just an album—it’s a journey through the darker side of modern life. From the introspective depths of “Sinking Alone” to the haunting resonance of “Gravity,” The Anix has crafted an emotionally charged soundscape as only he is able to capture it. The Anix invites fans to join him on a dark odyssey, where alternative and electronic rock converge to create a brooding, atmosphere that lingers long after the music fades.
Releasing with the album is “Poltergeist“, which premiered last week at RevolverMag ahead of the album. The single is driven by gritty guitars, pulsing synthesizers, and a thundering rhythm section of drums and bass. Pulling back to his rock roots The Anix delivers his signature blend of alternative rock and electronic atmosphere as the track explores themes of unresolved emotions for an emotive soundscape as only The Anix can deliver.
The Anix is the alternative / electronic-rock project of Los Angeles artist/producer Brandon Smith. Shrike, a three-piece metal band from Preston, the “wettest” city in England, is set to reshape the underground modern metal landscape with their debut album release in 2025. Titled ‘The Divine and the Serpentine,’ this long player not only showcases their unique sound—a rich blend of ambient, cinematic, and orchestral textures—but also delves into deep thematic content through a “semi” concept album exploring the complexities of abusive relationships.
Produced in collaboration with Lucas Fletcher of Blanket, who contributed to the vocals and mixing, and Connor Sweeney, formerly of Loathe, ‘The Divine and the Serpentine’ reflects a four-year journey of resilience and artistic evolution. The recording was mastered by Grant Berry (Employed To Serve, Deaf Havana), with final mixes completed at Shell City Studios, ensuring high-quality production. This release is significant for both its innovative approach to metal and its compelling narrative, making it a powerful story for the metal community and beyond.
Each song on ‘The Divine and the Serpentine’ weaves personal experiences with broader themes, providing insights into the challenges of addiction, recovery, and overcoming psychological trauma. Tracks like ‘Ebb and Flow (This Will Never End)’ and ‘The Sinner in Saint’s Regalia’ vividly portray the emotional weight of supporting someone through addiction and the intense feelings surrounding suicidal thoughts. Meanwhile, ‘Serpentine’ is loosely based on the story of Medusa, as a metaphor for mob mentality, black and white thinking, one-sided dogmatic thinking, and overly virtuous thinking, often from people who are simply projecting to feel better about themselves, while ‘Plagues Confide Through Masquerade’ delves into the raw turmoil of narcissistic abuse.
“This album was the end product of four years. Sleepless nights, anxiety attacks, and a million other roadblocks along the way. Memories: pristine and tarnished. Lost connections along with gained ones. Struggling through a global pandemic as well as emotionally developing as a human to the best of our abilities. This, is where all of these things have been channeled emotionally. A ‘semi’ concept album, split in two parts. it discusses themes and the effects of abusive forms of all relationships (romantic, friends, business partners, parent/child, kinship etc.) all the emotions linked to being on the receiving end but also the self reflection of our own behaviours and how we may perhaps be ones whom also need to atone for the way we treat people.” – Liam Shaw (Shrike)
‘The Divine and the Serpentine’ highlights Shrike’s musical versatility and their commitment to carefully addressing tough topics with raw honesty and compassion. With top-tier production and a compelling narrative woven into each track, Shrike’s debut album is an essential listen for anyone passionate about the future of metal music.

PATRIARCHS IN BLACK‘s Dan Lorenzo has issued the update on “Covered in Black” Album:
Visioning was released July 19th 2024. Since then:
I wrote and recorded the music to 15 new songs and music/lyrics to two musical interludes for the next PATRIARCHS IN BLACK album. Johnny Kelly has recorded drums to 15 of the songs and 5 songs have been finished vocally. Jason McMaster, John Kosco and Frankie Diaz (who sang Whiskey On My Mind from our 3rd album Visioning) are done singing and I also hired a male opera singer and a local amazing young female singer to sing a song I wrote called Where You Think You’re Going. Mark Sunshine, Karl Agell, Kelly Abe, DMC, Kyle Thomas and Dewey Bragg will be back singing as well. John “JD” DeServio, Eric J Morgan, Johnny Araya, Sal Iuvera and Dave Neabore have recorded bass tracks.
The hardest part for me is the wait. The next Patriarchs In Black full length album won’t be out on MetalVille Records until June or July 2025.
Black Friday (that’s THIS Friday-the day after Thanksgiving) I’m stoked that you can all finally hear our Peter Gabriel cover featuring Mark Sunshine on vocals. We have a brand new EP of covers on CD out now at THIS LOCATION.
TRACKS Destroyer (Twisted Sister) Games Without Frontiers (Peter Gabriel) Rock Bottom (Kiss) The Chase is Better than the Catch (Motorhead) Friends (Led Zeppelin) My Veneration (original / Patriarchs in Black)
