Swedish melodic death metal rising stars THE HALO EFFECT has just dropped the official music video for their powerful new single, ‘March Of The Unheard’, the title track from their highly anticipated sophomore album, set to be released on January 10th, 2025.
The visually stunning video matches the intensity of the song, blending dark, atmospheric imagery with explosive performance shots, delivering a cinematic experience that complements the band’s signature sound.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting new material from THE HALO EFFECT. The upcoming album March Of The Unheard promises to showcase the band’s evolving artistry while staying true to the melodic death metal roots that their fans have come to love.
Guitarist Niclas Engelin comments on the song:”This song is based around the melody theme for the intro on all our ninety-six shows. I just got the idea of starting the whole album with this theme and building a full song around it. Mikael took the whole song to another level with his lyrics, which enlighten the need for our society to hear the voices of the unheard – the powerless.”
He continues: “We are all suckers for melancholic melodies in an up tempo beat, and add some harmonies to that, and we get a beautiful Halo song. Working with the mighty Gothenburg Marching band “Göta Lejon” just blew our minds both in the studio and live.. damn they are powerfull!!”
Shortly after the album´s release, the band will embark on their first ever headline tour across Europe. Industrial outfit and label mates PAIN will be special guest on this tour and to round up this great package, melo-death shooting stars from Finland, BLOODRED HOURGLASS, will join as support.

From New York out of Cleveland, the Dead Boys were the most incendiary of Manhattan’s first wave punk bands.
Louder than the Ramones, faster than Patti Smith, more feral than Television, and fronted by Stiv Bators, an unholy cross between Iggy Pop, David Johansen and all the Sex Pistols put together, the Dead Boys were also responsible for one of the all-defining anthems of the CBGBs era, “Sonic Reducer.” Not to mention two full albums that remain untouchable in terms of punk’s finest.
And if they were monstrous on record, they were almost brutal on stage. Touring relentlessly, the Dead Boys were a seething, dizzying blur of dynamic action and brain-charring volume that left audiences wilting and music critics gaping, powering through a repertoire that simply dripped with future classics… “Caught with the Meat In Your Mouth,” “Flame Thrower Love,” “Down in Flames” – they even immortalized one of New York City’s most feared serial killers, the Son of Sam, even as his reign of terror unfolded.
Another Dead Boys classic, “What Love Is” is out as the band’s latest single.
All these and more (to paraphrase the title of yet another Dead Boys masterpiece) are included on Live in San Francisco, a raw, verité recording of the band’s legendary November 1977 appearance at that city’s historic Old Waldorf – a gig later immortalized as one of the crucial landmarks in local punk rock lore.
Approved by guitarist Cheetah Chrome, this is the first ever official release of this wild and thrilling recording, an unforgettable firestorm that captures every drop of sweat, fleck of spittle and burst of crazed energy that made Dead Boys the kings of American punk rock!
And it wraps up with the Dead Boys’ signature slam through the Stooges’ “Search and Destroy,” a version that makes even the original sound tame.
In addition to this fantastic live album release, Ignorance In Action (The Rarities) is a treasure trove of Dead Boys rarities, including previously unreleased vintage demo sessions and live recordings; the rare 1987 reunion 12″ single; plus sessions from Kirk Yano’s After Dark studio in Cleveland from 1978!
Black Stone Cherry kick off their European headline tour today by sharing a rip-snorting cover of The Cult‘s hit song “American Horse” featuring their tour compadres Ayron Jones and Skillet‘s John Cooper.
The track was originally released in 1989, on The Cult‘s Sonic Temple album, which landed in the UK official album chart at #3 and went on to be certified platinum in the USA.
Black Stone Cherry enthuse, “We are extremely excited to be coming back to the UK and bringing Ayron Jones and Skillet with us. Talk about a badass package of riff rock! We are pumped to have a single out featuring all three bands, something we have never done before, and we hope it gets people as excited as we are!”
Ayron Jones says, “As an artist I believe it’s my duty to pay tribute to other great artist in my work. That’s why when BSC reached out to me to be on this track by The Cult I jumped at the opportunity. It was insanely fun to work on this tune and help put a spin on this classic. Did you need anything else for the moment?”
The tour begins today, October 29, in Berlin, Germany and calls through Luxembourg, The Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and the UK, finishing on 23 November in London. Ayron Jones will support them on the entire run with Skillet joining them for the UK leg of shows.
Talking about the tour the band said, “Our beloved Cherry Heads in Europe, we have seen your comments and read all of your messages which have kept us feelin’ fuzzy since the last time we saw you. With that said, it’s been too damn long, and we can’t wait to come back for a full headline tour in October and November!! We look forward to seeing your faces and hearing your voices! Let’s goo!!”

Earlier this month, Black Stone Cherry shared a new version of “Out Of Pocket“, featuring Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage. The original recording has been streamed five million times, while cumulative plays across all DSPs of the tracks on latest album Screaming At The Sky now exceeds 25 million total streams. Total streams for the songs on prior album The Human Condition now exceed 80 million plays.
Screamin’ At The Sky features all-new material written collaboratively while the band was on tour. When it came time to record, BSC tried something they’ve always dreamed of doing: tracking an album at The Plaza Theater in Glasgow, Kentucky – a legendary 1020-seat venue built in 1934 that boasts meticulous acoustics. The result is nothing short of breath-taking – Black Stone Cherry at their finest.
With less than three months until the release of their sixth studio album, The End Will Show Us How, TREMONTI is back with another track for fans. “One More Time” is a driving track backed by Mark’s dark and brooding lyrics as he sings about the madness in the world brought upon so many differing opinions. Backed by Eric Friedman (guitars), Tanner Keegan (bass) and Ryan Bennett (drums), world-renowned guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Mark Tremonti delivers one of the most-memorable songs in the TREMONTI catalog. The song is now available via all digital service providers.
Mark Tremonti explains about the song: “It started with the pre-chorus and chorus idea. When I came up with the opening riff, it really solidified the song. Now, it’s one of the heaviest tracks on the record. It’s going to be one of those songs that translates well live. Thematically, it’s based on all of the madness in the world. There’s so much hatred and violence going on as well as so many polarizing ideologies. That led me to those lyrics.”
With a musical catalog that includes 18 previously released full length albums from his work with Creed, Alter Bridge and various solo endeavors, the new album entitled The End Will Show Us How is scheduled for global release on January 10, 2025 via longtime partner, Napalm Records. Mark Tremonti is back with a collection of 12 original compositions that continue his musical evolution while showcasing his ability to write memorable songs – something he has done for nearly three decades.
Tremonti’s musicianship and songwriting is on full display on each song on The End Will Show Us How. Tracks like “It’s Not Over,” “I’ll Take My Chances” and “All The Wicked Things” show that Mark continues to create compositions that continue to engage audiences comprised of both old and new fans alike. “Nails” is a musical idea that Mark has had for years and finally found the inspiration to complete. “Tomorrow We Will Fail” is an inspirational piece that talks about not putting off until tomorrow something you can conquer today. “Now That I’ve Made It” is a message for anyone who has ever had anyone doubt them and try to hold them back from following their dreams. The album opener “The Mother, The Earth and I” is a personal favorite of Mark’s and sets the tone for what fans can expect from the rest of the album. The song talks about the connection that all people have to the planet Earth regardless of personal differences. The visually captivating music video depicts the message of the song with cinematic visuals created by director J.T. Ibanez (Sevendust, Hawthorne Heights, Loveless) and can be seen HERE. The debut single “Just Too Much” is currently in the Top 35 at Active Rock radio and moving up the charts with a bullet. An official music video for the single, also directed by J.T. Ibanez, can be seen HERE.
The End Will Show Us Howwas produced by longtime friend and collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette – the producer Mark has worked with exclusively since 2007.

About TREMONTI: After three decades, 18 full-length albums, and thousands of shows, Mark Tremonti continues to relentlessly push himself as a guitarist, a vocalist, and a songwriter, above all. This unstoppable drive has underscored his catalog earmarked by a GRAMMY® Award, cumulative streams in the billions, and total sales of 60 million units worldwide across his inexhaustible output with Creed, Alter Bridge, and solo band TREMONTI. Distinguished as Guitar World’s “Guitarist of the Decade,” selected as a flagship PRS endorsee, and celebrated on the covers of numerous publications worldwide, he approaches the guitar with an insatiable curiosity and innate need to create. At the same time, he constantly stretches his voice, reaching new heights with each subsequent project.
His voice, writing, and playing have supercharged Tremonti as a force in its own right. The band has delivered a string of celebrated releases, including All I Was [2012], Cauterize[2015], Dust [2016], A Dying Machine [2019] accompanied by an acclaimed novel of the same name co-written by Mark with John Shirley, and Marching In Time [2021]. Earning acclaim, KERRANG! hailed the latter as “another worthy chapter in its creator’s well-populated book,” and American Songwriter praised how “Marching In Time is structured around denser melodies and reflective epistles prodding around chunkier riffs.” Loudwire applauded the title track as “hypnotically epic,” and Guitar World readers voted “Now and Forever” as “The Best Riff of 2021.” Now, he levels up all around on his 19th overall LP and sixth TREMONTI full-length, The End Will Show Us How[Napalm Records].
With muscular grooves, evocative solos, heart-pumping riffs, and seismic melodic vocals, The End Will Show Us How is a testament to Tremonti’s legacy of ceaseless creativity and a triumph for him.

ABOUT KILLSWITCH ENGAGE: Killswitch Engage first shook the structure of heavy music upon climbing out of snowy industrialized Western Massachusetts in 2000. A musical outlier, the band pioneered a union of thrashed-out European guitar pyrotechnics, East Coast hardcore spirit, on-stage hijinks, and enlightened lyricism that set the pace for what the turn-of-the-century deemed heavy. 2002’s Alive Or Just Breathing became avowed as a definitive album, being named among “The Top 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the Decade” by Decibel and celebrated by everyone from Metal Hammer to Revolver. Not only did they bust open the floodgates for dozens to follow, but they also garnered three GRAMMY® Award nominations in the category of “Best Metal Performance” in 2005, 2014, and 2019, respectively, a gold certification for The End of Heartache [2004], and a platinum certification for As Daylight Dies [2006]. The group landed three consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 with Killswitch Engage [2009], Disarm The Descent [2013], and their career high best bow at #6 with Incarnate [2016]. The latter two releases, along with 2019’s Atonement, would also both capture #1 on the Top Rock Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. The band’s total streams are nearing 3 billion to date, while they’ve remained consummate road warriors who’ve sold out countless headline tours and have shared stages with everyone from Iron Maiden to Slipknot to Slayer to My Chemical Romance to Mastodon to Parkway Drive, which is a testament to their ability to cross genres and appeal to all fans of hard rock. KsE have remained a featured attraction at every major North American and European festival through the years. The band is celebrating an astonishing, 25-year career as one of the most vital and genre-defining bands of the ’00s and continues its incredible legacy.
