CABAL has through the years proved themselves as one of the heaviest and most uncompromising metal acts hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark.
The bands sound is visceral and destructive and aims to bring forth absolute chaos by drawing inspiration from everything from crushing death metal, contemporary metallic hardcore and metalcore to unnerving soundscapes and dark electronic music.
Since the release of their first album in 2018 the band toured most of the planet, from Europe and North America to Japan and Australia, as well as renowned festivals like, Roskilde Festival, Copenhell, Summer Slaughter, Brutal Assault and many more, and they have no intention of slowing down.
All of the above combined with features from some of the modern metal scenes most prominent names like; Matt Heafy from TRIVIUM, Jamie Hails from POLARIS and Joe Bad from FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, the band has shown the world that Denmark has something to offer when it comes to bone crushing heaviness.
Depressive rock and roll bandGHOST BATH enter a new partnership with Nuclear Blast, resigning with the label for a new deal that for the first time encompasses worldwide rights. The news comes during a busy fall! The band is currently on a 10-day U.S. trek with DARK FUNERAL which will be followed by a 23-date European Tour with UADA. GHOST BATH will continue their momentum into the new year with a full North American tour.
GHOST BATH comments, “We are thrilled to announce our resigning with Nuclear Blast, this time for a worldwide deal. They have been amazing to work with, and we can’t wait to show you all of the new music we’ve been working on. See you on the road, let’s rock and roll \m/.“
Nuclear Blast A&R Monte Conner states: “I have been a huge fan of Ghost Bath ever since first falling under the spell of their 2015 sophomore album “Moonlover,” with its intoxicating blend of black metal and guitar melody, topped off by the compelling, one-of-a-kind vocals from the band’s mysterious vocalist Nameless. Prior to this resigning, I heard the band’s new album (coming in 2025), and it ramps up all the elements that make the band so unique and special. Fans old and new are in for a real treat.”
GHOST BATH are just a couple of days away from embarking on an extensive European tour as special guests of melodic black metallers, UADA. The A Decade Of Reflective Divinations tour will kick off on October 18th in Thessaloniki, Greece, with GHOST BATH joining on October 21st in Stockholm, Sweden. Hamburg in Chaos: Cannibal Corpse and Co. Turn Große Freiheit 36 Into A Metal Furnace!
On October 2, 2024, the Große Freiheit 36 in Hamburg became a fortress of extreme metal. The night promised not only relentless brutality but also a mix of thrash, death, and crossover metal that turned the crowd into a swirling mass of chaos.
Belgium’s Schizophrenia kicked off the night with their energetic thrash/death metal blend. Since the release of their debut album “Recollections Of The Insane” in 2022, they have firmly established themselves in the scene, and their performance in Hamburg showed they’re rising stars. Their mix of aggressive riffs and intense stage presence got the crowd fired up right away.
Immolation took over next, drenching the venue in a dark atmosphere. Their technically demanding death metal sound, alongside classics like “Everlasting Fire” and “Father, You’re Not A Father”, proved why they’ve remained a staple of the genre for decades.
Municipal Waste shifted the energy completely, bringing their punk-infused thrash with a healthy dose of humor. Tracks like “Breathe Grease” and “Born to Party” whipped up the crowd into a frenzy, with wild mosh pits and electric energy shaking the venue.
The ultimate highlight of the night was Cannibal Corpse. For over three decades, they’ve dominated the death metal scene, and their Hamburg show was a testament to why they’re considered legends. Classics like “Fucked With a Knife” and new tracks from their latest album “Chaos Horrific” sent the audience into ecstasy. The circle pit seemed endless, and the entire venue boiled over with energy.
An unforgettable night for extreme metal fans. Check out the setlists and remaining tour dates below:

Following A Loner album released in 2022, the French doom metal band HANGMAN’S CHAIR returns today with a brand single ‘2 AM Thoughts‘ featuring DOOL. The two bands will also be touring together in Europe this year. All dates are listed below.
HANGMAN’S CHAIR stated about‘2 AM Thoughts‘: “The idea of collaborating with Raven Von Dorst doesn’t come from nowhere, we’ve been thinking about it since our last album. If we had to invite someone, it has to be Raven, we’ve known each other for quite a while long time now, played shows and partied together. Moreover, we share the same sensibilities. When the opportunity of touring with Dool became reality, it was the perfect time to record a song as one to solidified our bond. We came with music and words, Raven came with magical haunted voices. The title of the song speaks for itself, it deals with insomnia and thoughts you can experience during those moments such as anxiety, anguish, stress and doubts. The video is kinda special for us, we filmed our childhood friend Kéo Nackphouminh during his everyday life, struggling against his inner demons for years and being clean for 3 years now. For those wo don’t know, he was the very first singer of Hangman’s Chair appearing on our first album. Things have finally come full circle.”

HANGMAN’S CHAIR, formed in 2005 in Paris, are one of the most unique sounding Doom Rock bands currently active. Through the years, they have found and fine-tuned their own sonic brand, somewhere at the crossroads between TYPE O NEGATIVE, LIFE OF AGONY and SISTERS OF MERCY, to name a few, mixed with a certain street credibility connected to the group’s roots in hardcore. Each album takes its strength and essence from the band members’s life experiences, which they portrait with unflinching honesty. Whether it is the loss of band members, drug overdoses or the hardships of living in suburban Paris, all those human emotions resonate within each of their songs asthey embrace the darkness and transform it into something beautiful, heavy and melancholic.
Melodic synth-metal masters DELAIN are set to break new ground with their upcoming EP, Dance with the Devil, set for release on November 8, 2024 via Napalm Records! Today, DELAIN present the EP’s second single, a gripping live version of their hit track “Moth to a Flame”. The song’s original version was released on their latest full-length opus, Dark Waters (2023), which debuted at #9 on both the US Hard Music Albums chart and the Official German Album Charts, marking it the band’s most successful record to date.
The emotionally driven live version of “Moth to a Flame” offers DELAIN’s matchless live presence and artistic versatility by presenting a pop-induced hymn that showcases that the international unit centered around mastermind Martijn Westerholt holds its spot on top of the scene without any doubts.
By releasing Dance with the Devil this fall, DELAIN allows their listeners to dive through their highest quality discography while striding ahead into a future that promises to explore new, more synth-driven soundscapes than ever before.
Keyboardist, founder and main songwriter Martijn Westerholt on the song: “’Moth to a Flame’ has been such a great surprise for us because the fans have responded to it with a ton of enthusiasm! It quickly became a fan favorite and always sparks an especially loud response from the crowd when we play it live. It even claimed a recurring place on national radio in Finland which is amazing. In short, after this successful festival season it definitely deserves a special spot in the DELAIN catalogue.”
“Moth to a Flame” (live) is now available on all streaming services worldwide – listen HERE!
As their second release with a revitalized lineup anchored by founding member and band mastermind Martijn Westerholt, Dance with the Devil features a thrilling collection of two brand new tracks, two newly-presented favorites, nine electrifying live performances, and two instrumental bonus tracks, showcasing the best of their catchy, melodic signature sound with extensive electronic synth elements and fresh modern nuances.
The offering debuts with two gripping new tracks, “Dance with the Devil” and “The Reaping”, serving as a whirlwind of emotions through catchy electronic synth melodies and modern heaviness. “The Reaping” delves into collective themes, expressing disillusionment with the current path of society toward imminent and inescapable consequences. Following these, the EP presents a brand-new version of “Sleepwalkers Dream”, showcasing Diana Leah’s voice and her breathtaking full vocal capacities. Dance with the Devil continues with nine live performances, featuring massively-streamed hits from both the present and the past. These include “Burning Bridges”, “The Quest and the Curse”, “Moth to a Flame”, and the massive hit “April Rain”, which has been streamed over 10 million times, along with “Queen of Shadow”. Martijn Westerholt adds: “We’re thrilled to have brand new material ready to be released! In addition to the new songs, it was fantastic to have captured some magical live moments of our European tour earlier this year as live tracks for the EP. We’re definitely very excited for this release and are really looking forward to bringing the new music to the stage!”
