CROSSBONE SKULLY—the exciting new project led by mastermind Tommy Henriksen (guitarist and musical director for Alice Cooper’s band & member of Hollywood Vampires)—shared their explosive single “The Boom Went The Boom (feat. Phil Collen of Def Leppard)” last month and are excited to return with a third new track, the justice-driven, affirmational and anthemic “I’m Unbreakable,” out November 17, digitally via Better Noise Music. “I’m Unbreakable” was recorded by Henriksen on lead vocals, guitar, bass, percussion and sound design) with Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires) on drums, Jamie Muhoberac (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer, Seal) on keys, Jason Roller (Ganjo), and The Hellhounds on backing vocals. It was executively produced by the legendary Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard) who emerged from retirement to work on the upcoming album. Order “I’m Unbreakable” now HERE.
HENRIKSEN reveals CROSSBONE SKULLY’s touring lineup in the live performance shot music video for “I’m Unbreakable” which premiered today, November 16, via YouTube. Stream it below. The live band lineup includes Henriksen and Wyse along with up-and-coming musicians including guitarists Sam “Bam” Koltun (Dorothy, Faster Pussycat, Budderside) and Anna Cara—who Henriksen found after seeing her viral YouTube guitar cover videos—along with Tuesdai on drums.
“The entire Crossbone Skully universe is built around the age-old concept of good vs evil, right vs wrong and, as a result, that concept is central to the songs of the album,” shares HENRIKSEN. “With ‘I’m Unbreakable,’ we wrote it while thinking about having confidence to know that you can win. We’re all warriors just dealing with the bullshit of everyday life that we all gotta deal with. I’m telling everyone to be strong and to believe in yourself because you are a warrior, you’ve made it this far so you must be unbreakable, remember that.”
CROSSBONE SKULLY will release a series of limited-edition 7” vinyl singles with the first of the series having been announced with the release of “The Boom Went The Boom (feat. Phil Collen of Def Leppard)” in October. After initially being available only through Spotify, the band have announced it will now be made available through their merch store at CrossboneSkully.com and will feature “I’m Unbreakable” as its B-side track. DEATH GOALS have announced European touring dates in support of EYES, set to take place in February. The tour will be the UK queercore duo’s first time playing on the mainland, following UK touring throughout 2023 in support of their latest album, A Garden of Dead Flowers.
Speaking onthe announcement, DEATH GOALS comment: “We’re super excited to be heading out to Europe with EYES next February! They’re an amazing band who put out one of our favourite albums of 2023, plus this will be our first ever tour outside of the UK which we’re stoked to be doing in such great company.
“We’ll be in the studio recording just before this tour too, so these dates will be our first chance to debut some new material live!”
Whilst bands are often prone to describing their latest opus as a progression, in the case of DEATH GOALS it very much is – and there were signposts towards their burgeoning intentions on 2021 full-length The Horrible and the Miserable’s closing track. Nothing Left To Give was the only song to feature clean vocals and paved the way towards what is now just around the corner with A Garden of Dead Flowers. This album also sees the pairing of Harry Bailey and George Milner embrace being defined as a queer hardcore band; their experiences – both good and bad – with that label and its accoutrements are documented throughout.
From the album opener – the wonderfully titled Genderless Clones of Gameshow Hosts – through to the joyously provocative closer, Faux Macho, Harry and George guide listeners through secret woodland hookups, fighting against queer erasure, nightmarish middle of the night fears, addiction and rehab, dysphoria, and – potentially most importantly – euphoric community acceptance.
Whilst there are undoubtedly dark moments on A Garden of Dead Flowers, DEATH GOALS are gleefully antagonistic and have created an engaging anthology of reflections on lived experiences, offering up hope, support and community to those around them.
DEATH GOALS Europe tour with EYES dates: February 20 – Hafenklang – Hamburg, DE February 22 – L’Amalgalme – Yverdons les Bains, CH February 23 – L’Antonnoir – Bescanson, FR February 24 – Le Cirque Electrique – Paris, FR February 25 – Vera – Groningen, NL February 27 – Voodoo – Warsaw, PL February 28 – Zascianek – Krakow, PL February 29 – Liverpool – Wroclaw, PL

Blackened atmospheric chaotic hardcore newcomers APOSTLE are now unleashing their vicious new single, “Pain,” along with a lyric video! The single is taken from the band’s upcoming EP, ‘Liminal,’ which is due on December 15 via Terminus Hate City Records! The clip can be found at THIS LOCATION.
The band comments, “‘Pain’ was the first track we began working on when we set out to write what would become ‘Liminal.’ As with every track on this release, they were all written in our rehearsal space, during rehearsal – making the writing process one of total collaboration and the environment as conducive for organic flow states of creativity. We wanted these songs to be straightforward in their arrangements and delivery and we didn’t want to fixate, overindulge or totally run parts into the ground. Rather, we wanted the movements to be quick and intentional, keeping things dynamic and driving.”
Upcoming Apostle U.S. Date: 12/09: Atlanta, GA @ 529
The cover artwork for ‘Liminal’ was created by Fabio Rincones and can be found below along with the tracklist.
‘Liminal’ Tracklisting:
Sulk (03:39)
Pain (02:09)
Starve (04:46)
Frown (02:51)
Wrung (03:37) Full running time: 16:22
Apostle’s vicious new offering is fueled by the collective prowess of guitarist and vocalist Murice White, bassist Michael Thomas, and drummer Evan Price. Apostle breaks new ground with ‘Liminal,’ citing many diverse influences, and crafting a sonic landscape that defies categorization.
Murice White’s guitar work is a fierce force, delivering textured riffs that traverse the extremes of aggression and beauty, while his seething vocals add a visceral layer to the record’s tapestry. Michael Thomas’s groove-laden low end provides a solid backbone, grounding the compositions in a rhythmic foundation that is both formidable and infectious. Evan Price’s propulsive batterie propels the music forward, adding a kinetic energy that keeps the violent angst front and center.
From the unrelenting chaos of grindcore to the ethereal tremolos of atmospheric black metal, ‘Liminal’ embarks on an audacious exploration of the outer reaches of metal’s vast spectrum. The warm undertones of shoegaze interlace with a robust foundation of melodic hardcore, providing a dynamic and immersive experience that transcends the boundaries of conventional metal. While hosting audible beauty, there is deep and profound pain throughout the record.

Get ready for a thrilling symphonic metal journey as the talented female-fronted band BEYOND GOD sets its sights on a remarkable musical horizon. This Dutch sensation has signed a deal with Wormholedeath for their highly anticipated album “The Great Divide”, slated for release on December 8, 2023.
Watch the album announcement video here:
The magic begins with the release of their latest single, “A Siren’s Cry,” a spellbinding composition that will immerse you in the rich tapestry of the band’s symphonic metal.
Beyond God, hailing from the Netherlands is a female-fronted symphonic metal force that defies musical boundaries. With a fusion of heavy metal, classical, and symphonic elements, they masterfully blend thunderous guitars, resonant bass, and dynamic drums with the delicate touch of symphonic strings, brass ensembles, and enchanting vocals. Presenting the current lineup with Meryl Foreman on vocals, Mariusz Krawitowski on guitars, Dennis Winkel on bass, and founder Ferry Guns on drums, piano, and orchestrations, Beyond God’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
Since the release of their debut album, “A Moment Of Black,” in 2016, they embarked on a triumphant international tour, amassing an ever-growing global fan base. Their evolution continued with the release of “Dying To Feel Alive” in 2017, featuring aggressive riffs and a dynamic rhythm section, all while retaining their signature dark orchestral atmosphere and melodic vocal lines. A special acoustic album in 2019 reflected on their musical journey thus far. Now, they stand on the precipice of their third full-length metal album, promising an even more profound symphonic metal experience.
“The Great Divide” is an odyssey through the human psyche, a musical voyage that delves into the intricacies of time, love, memory, and existence. Each track intertwines with the next, creating a tapestry of themes that range from the captivating tales of Greek mythology in “Cronos” to the heart-wrenching aftermath of lost love in “After Love Ends.”
Musically, “The Great Divide” embraces the darker, weightier realms of metal with fierce guitar riffs, thundering drums, and ethereal orchestral arrangements. Yet, it’s Meryl Foreman’s entrancing vocals that breathe life into these songs, evoking profound emotions in every note.
From the thought-provoking “The Great Divide” and “Coronation,” addressing contemporary sociopolitical issues, to the deeply personal “A Siren’s Cry” and “Aphantasia,” exploring the depths of love, loss, and the human psyche, this album is a symphonic masterpiece. Beyond God offers a fresh take on the genre, revealing their formidable musical prowess and their power to convey compelling narratives.
