At the end of June with “Intergalactic Battle Tunes” the much acclaimed debut of the high speed power metallers of SCULFORGE was released. With “Kings Of The Battlefield” the quartet now releases a video for the hardest number on the album.
So to speak a power metal song for people who think power metal is too soft. But not only that, because the band has a very special dedication for this track: “This song is for all those who always get up again, even if life permanently kicks them in the face! In a world that seems to get darker every day, positive songs like this are needed!” So check out “Kings of the Battlefield”, the ultimate anthem for fighters and heroes on the MDD Youtube channel!
FADING NEMESIS, led by the powerhouse vocalist FARAH NAZ, is set to drop her re-imagined rendition of Oliver Anthony Music’s hit track, “RICH MEN NORTH OF RICHMOND,” across all major streaming platforms on Friday, November 10th.
This iconic track, originally penned by the talented duo of Christopher Anthony Lunsford and Oliver Anthony Music, has been skillfully re-imagined by an exceptional team of musical virtuosos, including Dusty Boles, Farah Naz, Larry Elyea, and Jason Riot. Larry Elyea’s engineering finesse and masterful touch have polished this musical gem to perfection.
“’RICH MEN NORTH OF RICHMOND’ by Fading Nemesis is a heavier and dare say, an even deeper re-imagination of a song which has taken the world by an awakening storm of anthemic emotion. This version done by FN renders another translation of the poignant story told by Oliver Anthony. This song is for all of us who have ever lost hope and have tasted the real exhaustion of life’s devouring fissures. It’s the voice of us all!” says f a r a h NAZ.
FARAH NAZ has lassoed the sensual tones of her Eastern heritage by combining her melodic vocals with the adrenalized energy of Western hard rock. The resonant depth of the EAST & the driving edginess of the WEST have fused seamlessly in her songs.
Born in Pakistan, raised in a suburban town in Texas, and having lived in the antiquated romance of the UK for over a decade, Naz’s life is a blend of rich cultures, dark moments, and revealing stories. The darkness of some extremely soul-mangling childhood events coupled with the richness of culturally diverse experiences have given Naz a powerful and unique ‘voice’.
Naz grew up with a father who is an accomplished sitar player. And throughout her childhood, greats like Ravi Shankar and others of his caliber regularly frequented their home for music gatherings. Alongside this wealthy backdrop of eastern music, her British and American cousins sent her western records from abroad. This audial infusion of east and west cadences in her early years has allowed her to forge an undeniably distinctive signature as a songwriter.
After moving to the States at the age of 10, she began performing at youth rallies, in school musicals, and other large-scale events and festivals. By age 11, she found herself singing to audiences of up to 5000+. With an insatiable desire to communicate truths through songwriting combined with a ferocious drive to command impact into people’s lives, performance became her perfect throne. Eventually, music took her to London, where she worked with some of the best producers & musicians and performed and even held residencies at some of the most renowned London music venues, including The Clapham Grand, The Half Moon Pub, The Troubadour, Notting Hill Arts Club.
A massive family tragedy brought her back home to the States. Naz took some time off to translate the pain into strength. Thus, Fading Nemesis was born. In the next short time, JASON RIOT (guitar), KYLE CHRISTIAN (bass) and CHRIS HAZARD (drums) joined the fN journey.
According to Naz, especially in these disjointed days, “music is the only sensical language that can express our deepest feelings, give our lives palliative hope and unite us, as a human race. Music expresses that which cannot be said and that which cannot remain silent”. Serving this tenet, Naz and her extraordinarily talented band members are preparing to release their debut album.
With the unequaled production and engineering talents of LARRY ELYEA, DUSTY BOLES and TRISTAN HARDING, FN’s debut album is surging with lyrical anthems, robed in rugged honesty and uncaging ‘freedom manifestos’. With raging guitars, primordial bass and drums, hauntingly sonorant vocals and perfectly seasoned production, the songs are blatantly compelling and yet deeply welcoming.

Frontiers Music is pleased to announce the upcoming release from The Grandmaster, ”Black Sun” on January 12, 2024. The first single and video from the album, “Watching The End” are out today. Following their explosive 2021 debut “Skywards,” this remarkable band, led by German guitarist Jens Ludwig (co-founder of Edguy), is set to deliver a powerful fusion of power and melody with a distinctive Teutonic twist.
Keen to hit the road to promote further releases, Danish vocalist Peer Johansson has been welcomed into the fold for the recording of ‘Black Sun’, the group’s follow-up record. Celebrated for his contributions to bands such as Fate, Ureas and Pentakill, Johansson’s voice is characterised by its warmth and an impressive range that has seen him compared to fellow hard rock titans like Rob Halford, Jorn Lande and Udo Dirkschneider.
Musically exuding infectious grooves and again displaying the exceptional prowess of Ludwig with a series of rhythmic riffs and captivating solos, the stellar vocal performances delivered by one of the genre’s hidden gems is the icing on the cake.
Ludwig was thrilled to get Peer on board for the follow-up, “I’ve actually been a fan of Peer’s for decades and own all the Fate albums he was involved in. The excitement was back for this second record and it was great to see the songs take shape from their original demo form and also see how Peer’s voice has developed over the years.”
For his part, Johansson describes ‘Black Sun’ as “a fantastic collaboration from inception to completion. When I first heard Jens’ riffs, I was completely blown away. His guitar playing is absolutely mind-blowing and has left me with a sore neck from all the headbanging! He plays like a musical deity and I feel honoured to be part of this extraordinary project. I can’t wait to share the stage with him during live shows and give it everything we’ve got.”
Guided by the ubiquitous Alessandro Del Vecchio, who plays bass and keyboards while also making a significant contribution to its superb production, ‘Black Sun’ is a dynamic and captivating album that sees in 2024 with a massive metallic bang.

We all know bands like I’LL BE DAMNED that, no matter how good their albums and music are – and the Danish band really knows how to write and record good music – they’ll always top themselves in the live environment. Those who witnessed any gig of the fab five from Aarhus know what we’re talking about here.
And now YOU are about to know it too, as I’ll Be Damned will release their first live album ever, simply titled “Live At Radar”, on November 24th via Mighty Music. Recorded at a sweat-soaked, sold-out night at the Radar, in their own hometown of Aarhus, the recording, which will be available in a digital format, features 16 tracks, with a natural focus on the latest album “Culture”, but also a few back-catalog anthems and a heartfelt cover version of Entombed’s “Wolverine Blues”. A perfect night, in which I’ll Be Damned had a few friends from Baest and Plaguemace on stage, immortalized in an audio and video document that will witness forever just how strong this band is every time they step on a stage.

I’ll Be Damned was formed in Aarhus in 2010. In 2022 the band completed a transition that started after the release of their second album in 2018. Armed with two new members and a constant flow of inspiration from a world gone mad, I’ll Be Damned released the album “Culture” on Mighty Music/Target Group.
The sound was still God Damned Rock’n’Roll. Metallic, melodic and heavier than ever before. Anders Gyldenøhr (ex-Grope, ex-Hatesphere) joined the band on drums and Mark Damgaard was the new vocalist, which has added explosively to the power dynamic of the band. During the following spring tour “Culture” was performed live for the first time along with a lot of songs from the two prior albums, which resulted in nothing short of a full-length live album along with video footage of the whole concert – “Live At Radar” – filmed by Jeff Kwadwo at a completely sold out show at the venue Radar, located in the bands’ hometown Aarhus. The whole show is mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studios. I’LL BE DAMNED has always been a tad more aggressive live than on the studio records which clearly comes to show on this live album, which also includes special guest performances on stage from members of the bands Baest and Plaguemace.
During the years I’ll Be Damned has released three critically acclaimed records in cooperation with Prime Collective, Drakkar Entertainment, and Danish label Mighty Music. In addition to two Denmark tours, I’ll Be Damned has supported the likes of Metallica, Airbourne, D-A-D and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy as well as they have been featured on a lot of festivals in Germany and back home in Denmark – among others Copenhell.
