The new sonic chapter for MUTUAL HOSTILITY continues, with the US death metallers today unveiling the brutal new single “Lie In Wait”. Stream it HERE.
MUTUAL HOSTILITY will be releasing their new album, “Inhuman Anguish”, on June 28th 2023 via Lethal Scissor Records, making it the band’s debut to the label.
Toilet Ov Hell premiered the first single “Faces in the Walls” at THIS LOCATION.
Following the good feedback received for the “Sacred Propaganda” EP, MUTUAL HOSTILITY waste no time continuing their attack and return with their first full-length. The band have thankfully made no great changes to their juggernaut sound. Dynamic, utterly crushing, immediately memorable, the band’s death metal stick to its guns without de-escalating the branded frenetic motion and interminable aggression.
Drawing inspiration from bands such as Suffocation, Deicide and Gorguts, MUTUAL HOSTILITY create a sound distinctly modern but with an appreciation for the old school death metal legends, all executed with near surgical meticulousness.
Tracklist:
1. Exordium 2. Reality Lens 3. Unknown Echoes 4. Lie In Wait 5. Myth Through Time 6. Faces In The Walls 7. Black Vault 8. Biorhythm 9. Denouement
MUTUAL HOSTILITY is a death metal band formed in January of 2020 in Northeast Ohio, USA. Merging many metal genres into the fold, Adam Rogers (vocals), Dan Gates (guitars & bass) and Eric Frabotta (drums) offer a blend of hostility and intensity. Most of 2020 was spent writing and recording at each others home during the pandemic shutdown. Soon after the band released a lyric video for the song “Pyramid of Hate” which gained some momentum and eventually led up to the EP titled “Sacred Propaganda” being released in November 2020 on the Cult of Parthenope record label. In 2022 nine new tracks were written and recorded for the first full-length album.
Line-up:

The Awakening enters the KAMELOT legacy as their most massive and diverse offering yet – mixing symphonic, gothic, melodic, progressive and power metal styles while yielding some of the heaviest tracks in the band’s history. Having reigned supreme with the release of internationally top-charting melodic metal pinnacles such as The Fourth Legacy (1999), The Black Halo (2005), Silverthorn (2012), Haven (2015, #1 US Hard Rock Albums), and most recently 2018’s acclaimed The Shadow Theory (#2 US Hard Music Albums), KAMELOT’s intense brand of ultramodern gothic and symphonic theatricality is amplified further and with more emotionality than ever on The Awakening.
Showcasing the incomparable, stage-seasoned vocal acrobatics of Tommy Karevik and increasingly airtight, renowned technical teamwork of guitarist Thomas Youngblood, drummer Alex Landenburg, keyboardist Oliver Palotai and bassist Sean Tibbetts, KAMELOT’s score-like 13th studio album is accented by guest contributions from the likes of Melissa Bonny (Ad Infinitum) and renowned instrumentalists like violinist Florian Janoske and cellist Tina Guo.
The Awakening features crystal clear modern production helmed by the band and longtime producer Sascha Paeth, plus mixing and mastering by Jacob Hansen of Hansen Studios.
The Awakening tracklisting: 1. Overture (Intro) 2. The Great Divide 3. Eventide 4. One More Flag in the Ground 5. Opus of the Night (Ghost Requiem) 6. Midsummer’s Eve 7. Bloodmoon 8. NightSky 9. The Looking Glass 10. New Babylon feat. Melissa Bonny 11. Willow 12. My Pantheon (Forevermore) 13. Ephemera (Outro)

Canada’s The Metal Voice recently spoke to Nervosa guitarist, vocalist and founder Prika Amaral about the bands upcoming shows, new studio album and taking on the lead vocals. Watch the interview below.
When asked about handling all the lead vocals moving forward in Nervosa “I did not want to change the singers again (they parted ways with the last singer) in Nervosa and changing again the band’s singer would kill the band so I said, I will do it. Changing a singer is really hard, it’s the voice of the band. So I said this was not something I was planning to do but it’s time for me to do it. I had to learn how to sing basically in a few months. I was already doing back- vocals before but to be a (lead) singer is totally different. So I had some classes with a friend of mine just to teach me how to do it with good technique. Then when we started to record the album our producer was riding me and this helped me a lot but I’m still learning.”
When asked about the musical direction of the new studio album “The album is finished and it will be out in September 2023. Our plan is to start promoting the new album in August and we have a plan for 3 or 4 video clips/singles. With the new album we are trying to make this musical style more different, with an instrumental. We will have super thrash songs, groove metal and mixing it up with styles.”
When asked if they have any guests on the new album “We have two guests on this album. One is singing with me, ,I can say it’s a woman. The second guest (man) is an amazing guitarist that did one solo on one of our songs. He is one of my biggest influences. “

Italian modern metallers NO ONE CARES will release their new EP “Pause/Reboot” at the end of June via Quarock Records. Today the band unveils the lyric video for the first single “Phoenix”. Watch it below.
“Pause/Reboot” represents a true rebirth for NO ONE CARES. Several line-up changes and the pandemic forced the band to take a break, despite the endless desire to create, produce and look ahead. But the time has finally come to rise up again like a phoenix, and the “Pause/Reboot” EP stands for this.
Elaborating new sounds and focusing on new writing and arrangement dynamics under the supervision and artistic production of Gabriele Bellini, they produced an EP which is a kind of new discovery for NO ONE CARES. The album was edited, mixed and mastered by Giacomo “Jac” Salani at La Fucina Studio in Florence, Italy.
The band states: “The songs on ‘Pause/Reboot’ are a mix of emotions, feelings and moods which we experience every day. From the feeling of emptiness and a sense of the unknown in ‘Empty Hole’, to the frightening and disturbing thoughts of ‘Scary Thoughts’, from the negativity which spreads like a cancer in ‘Negativity’, to the desire for rebirth and feeling alive in ‘Phoenix’, concluding with the post-abandonment depression of ‘Beautiful Sadness’. The intense and aggressive sounds, the energetic and massive rhythms, the search for personal dynamics in each track, fully reflect the energy, intensity and power in expressing our emotional side”.
NO ONE CARES was born in 2012 playing a powerful and personal mix of nu metal and metalcore, in a surprising combination of Crossover Metal. The band from Tuscany made their debut in 2014, with two of their own unreleased tracks for the compilation “Underworld Collection – Invasion” (QuaRock Records), and the following year they released their first album “Dirty”, an explosive record which confirmed N.O.C. as one the best new Italian acts in crossover metal, gaining excellent critical acclaim especially thanks to their live shows.
THE ROCK ALCHEMIST – Italian Rock Band from Turin with a strong sonic identity that blends modern rock with progressive, hard, alternative, and pop elements!
