Heavy rock trio UNDERDOGS released their brand new single “Die or Dance” today. It’s the band’s first release after an 8-year hiatus and despite the many years that have passed, the band is picking up right where they left off. “Die or Dance” is released via Italian powerhouse label Go Down Records and you can stream the single at THIS LOCATION
The band about the single and upcoming work:”We are working on HEAVY stuff, with an hardcore no-compromizing attitude, lowtone fuzzy riffs and a touch of late nienties vibes. Now it our time again to DANCE (or dying trying..)“.
“Die or Dance” was produced by Marco Pagot and Ruggero Pol. The official video is directed by Davide Carrer. The single is out now on all streaming platforms via Go Down Records.
Go big or go home has been the motivated “catchphrase” for the members of CRASHDÏET ever since they started in early 2000. The band took the rock scene by storm at the beginning of the new millennium with their modern interpretation of the Mötley Crüe and Guns and Roses sound. Thanks to their unique sound and unique style, Crashdïet set new trends in both speakers and wardrobes. In 2010, they released their third album, Generation Wild, and the record became a great success worldwide. The band had the privilege of supporting both Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe on tour.
Today, Crashdïet surprises their fans with a previously hidden track from Generation Wild. The new single ‘Sick Mind‘ has only been available in Japan, until now! ‘Sick Mind‘ undeniably flirts with the great arena rock bands of the 80s, but also contains punk elements, something that has become characteristic for Crashdïet.
Legendary rock band TESLA will release their highly anticipated live album on May 26, 2023. The album will include “Time To Rock” plus others all recorded at Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis.
TESLA is a notorious band for one thing; being a high-energy, 100% live, kick-ass rock and roll band in concert! FULL THROTTLE LIVE captures this essence from a stop at the Sturgis Bike Rally in the year 2022 at the infamous saloon that hosts many motorcycle rock and roll parties, and this inspired the band to put on even more of a heavy show. Independently recorded, mixed, and produced by bassist Brian Wheat and guitarist Frank Hannon, this new live album truly captures TESLA in pure honest form and even dives deeper into their roots by recording a live version of the 1974 Aerosmith classic “SOS Too Bad” as a bonus track. The heavier song choices range from “Miles Away!” to more recent hard releases like “Time to Rock!” and “Cold Blue Steel”. But don’t worry there are old TESLA classics captured too like “Changes” and “Lazy Days, Crazy Nights” all recorded as TESLA is best..100% FULL THROTTLE LIVE!
“MILES AWAY” is the lead-off single release from TESLA’s new live album FULL THROTTLE LIVE! The guys chose to put this song out first because it represents TESLA and the new live album’s harder heavier sound. “MILES AWAY” is a fan favorite in concert with its heavy 6/8 rolling groove and blistering guitar solo. This is also an ironic song choice because the song lyrics are written about being a “rock star” on the road away from reality and missing home. Check out TESLA’s new live album FULL THROTTLE LIVE! You won’t be let down and MILES AWAY will take you there.

That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid-80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll. The same roots that produced bands like The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith.
The ground started shaking in Sacramento, CA, in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” 1989’s double-platinum The Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song”. Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status. In 1990, TESLA helped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s“Signs.” Other 90s albums from TESLA include platinum selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material including 9 new albums since 2000 and recently debuted their new single, “Time To Rock!”
WATCH TESLA – Official Lyric Video “Time to Rock!” (Live):
TESLA has endured many of the same taste-changing challenges that affected many in the post-grunge world, but through it all, their blue-collar work ethic and dedication to the faithful fan base has helped them not just survive, but thrive. TESLA’s legacy is alive and well as they continue to record and sellout venues all over the world. As comfortable, rugged, and dependable as your favorite pair of boots, they endure. TESLA is a celebration of the greatest spirits of rock and roll.

ARJEN LUCASSEN’S SUPERSONIC REVOLUTION have released their new album “Golden Age of Music”, out now via Music Theories Recordings / Mascot Label Group.
To celebrate the new album, the band has revealed the official video for ‘They Took Us By Storm‘, watch it below.
The album is available on various formats; 2LP Transparent Blue, 2LP Pink Marble, 2LP Purple Marble, 2LP Yellow Marble, CD, Digitally and Artbook.
Talking about the song Lucassen says, “Album sleeves were always so important for me back then in the original days of vinyl LPs! I bought a lot of albums just because of the cover art. And my absolute favourite design company was the mighty Hipgnosis team. Their head man was called Storm Thorgerson, which explains the wordplay on ‘Storm’ in the song title. These lyrics talk about four of my favourite Hipgnosis sleeves: obviously Led Zeppelin’s ‘Houses Of The Holy’ and Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’, two of the most iconic front covers of all time. The other two are not as well known: ‘Electric Warrior’ by T. Rex (the first album I ever bought) and UFO’s ‘Phenomenon’. Incidentally, I only discovered years later that on the UFO cover the guy is throwing a hubcap in the air and the lady is sneakily photographing it as if it were a real UFO!”
You think you know Arjen Lucassen? Towering Dutch prog rock polymath? The man behind the super successful prog rock conceptualists Ayreon? Not to mention his prog metal of Star One and Guilt Machine? Enormous overarching concept albums about space and time, packed to the hilt with special guests that read like a who’s who of modern-day progressive rock? Arjen Lucassen? Well, think again…
Supersonic Revolution, the band behind ‘Golden Age Of Music’, are simply five men: Arjen on bass, long-standing keyboard player Joost van den Broek, guitarist Timo Somers, drummer Koen Herfst and singer Jaycee. Five men rocking out and having one hell of a time doing it.
The whole project grew from a request to provide a track for a cover CD for the German music magazine Eclipsed. A seed was sewn in Lucassen’s mind and the end result is 11 tracks of high energy, progressively inclined heavy rock that swings with the kind of groove Deep Purple rocked with in the early to mid-1970s. The album also features covers of some legendary songs given the Arjen Lucassen treatment as bonus tracks: T-Rex’s ‘Children of the Revolution,’ ZZ Top’s ‘Heard It On The X,’ Earth Wind and Fire’s ‘Fantasy’ and Roger Glover’s ‘Love Is All.’

Canadian sci-fi metal innovators VOIVOD are celebrating 40 eventful years of existence in 2023 and therefore announced a special Anniversary studio album entitled Morgöth Tales, to be released on July 21st, 2023 via Century Media Records.
A first single/video off Morgöth Tales is being launched today with the song “Nuage Fractal (2023 Version)” and can also be checked out in a lyric video created by Cloud Music Typography here:
VOIVOD bassist Dominic “Rocky” Laroche has checked in with the following comment about “Nuage Fractal (2023 Version)”: “We are excited to present the first single from our 40th anniversary album! Its solid drum and bass, alien guitar line on top, lyrics and melody that connects it all towards a spinning triangle bridge makes ‘Nuage Fractal’ unique, which represents the era of ‘Angel Rat’. Let’s get ready to celebrate this amazing journey of ‘Morgöth Tales’!”
Once more recorded and mixed by Francis Perron at RadicArt Studio, mastered by Maor Appelbaum and produced by VOIVOD, Morgöth Tales includes fresh studio (re-)recordings by the band’s current line-up of 9 especially selected, not-so-obvious picks from the band’s hyper-classy and extremely diverse back catalogue (between 1984 and 2003) as well as a brand-new song in the album’s title-track, “Morgöth Tales”.
VOIVOD drummer Michel “Away” Langevin commented about Morgöth Tales as follows: “’Morgöth Tales’ covers 40 years of space exploration. It was really exciting for us to revisit a more obscure part of the Voïvod catalogue, from thrash-punk to prog-metal to…? The title track is a new song, which we started writing in the tour bus and hotels during the Opeth European tour in November/December 2022. It has the vibe of the experimental music we are doing nowadays, with a new twist I think. We also had the great thrill of getting E-Force and Jasonic involved on this album. I hope you’ll dig it, Chewy, Rocky, Snake and I certainly had a blast recording it. All aboard and ready for take off!“

Purveyors of the legendary Gothenburg sound THE HALO EFFECT have presented us with a visualizer for the song ‘Path Of Fierce Resistance’, which was previously released as a Japanese exclusive on the band’s globally acclaimed debut album Days Of The Lost, that was released in August 2022.
Now, the ferocious track is finally being released to the rest of the world, before the band embarks on their first US headline run in May and gets back to the studio to work on their next full-length album.
Frontman Mikael Stanne comments: “Path Of Fierce Resistance” is a song we wrote for the Days of the Lost album but it only surfaced on the limited Japanese edition and it has been very close to us and having it here now for all to hear feels fantastic. The new album is in the works and we are incredibly excited about it, so consider this as something to keep you guys going until we unveil what is coming next. The song is another Jesper and Niclas classic that features everything that we love doing together in this band. Lyrically it deals with unrealistic expectations and about how important it is to follow one’s own path and be adamant about it no matter what. We start our tour in the US on the 20th of May and we are beyond stoked to bring this band to America for the first time. Do not miss this!”
Alongside the new song, THE HALO EFFECT has also released an official band documentary on their YouTube channel. The 30 minute long film was previously only available as part of the initial run of physical formats for Days Of The Lost, and features in-depth interviews with the members, dwelling on their humble beginnings and discussing how the band eventually came to be.
THE HALO EFFECT will kick off their first ever US headline tour on May 20, in Hartford Connecticut.
