Amazing technical death metal band STRUCTURAL are back with the new Video/Single “And the Earth Has Rested”. The song is taken from the upcoming album “Decrowned” that will be released worldwide on June 23, via ViciSolum Productions.
Structural delivers an intense and mind-blowing fist of technical death metal, adding layers of fantastic melody on top. Soaring riffs, violent rhythm patterns and the unmistakable deep growl from Nadav Zaidman combined, is balm for the soul of any death-metal lover out there and the extreme quality of the product simply cannot be ignored.
Danish extreme metal quintet THE ARCANE ORDER will release their highly anticipated new album “Distortions From Cosmogony” on June 9 via Black Lion Records. With the track “Children of Erebos”, the band has released the third and final single from the upcoming album today.

Guitarist Flemming C. Lund comments: “For this song we really wanted to create a relentless banger! It’s definitely one of the fastest songs we ever made, and Bastian is grinding his brains out behind the drum kit! The song is quite death metal inspired, mixed with some more ferocious black metal riffing and vocals.“
Lead singer Kim Song Sternkorpf comments: “‘Children of Erebos’ is a parable over the concept of divine or malignant intervention like cautionary tales told to kids to make the abide by the rules of their parents.
It serves as an interpretation of the saying ‘if you give the devil a little finger he takes the whole hand’. I wanted to use older deities than the typical Judeo-Christian mythology since hierarchies play a big part in the Greek Mythos.
The older the deities are, the more scary and mysterious they seem. The insignificance of man faced with cosmic forces is an embedded fear in our nature. To put a name to the fear helped man through the ages – though this particular fear is very much alive today either through the forces of nature or perhaps artificial intelligence? All things with indescribable force surmounting our comprehension. The fear of the unknown.“
With its new experienced line-up featuring members of renowned acts such as Soilwork, Møl and HateSphere, THE ARCANE ORDER created an epic metal album within its singular style combining the extreme, the grandiose, technical and melodic while telling the story of mankind’s eternal existential conflict between autonomy and submission.
The band’s upcoming fourth album is a 54 minutes long virtuosic display of THE ARCANE ORDER’s unique fusion of death, black, tech, classic and melodic metal. The band’s skillful balancing of the epic and aggressive, the extreme and melodic and of the technical and catchy is unfolded in a dramatic songwriting taking the band’s expression to new heights, while demanding complete devotion from the listener – who are equally rewarded, if this is delivered.
In the same manner, the subject matter of THE ARCANE ORDER demands a will to immerse oneself, look inwards and to be challenged. “Distortions From Cosmogony” revolves around humankind’s eternal existential struggle of division between autonomy and submission, internally as well as externally. The album dives into the distortion and transition taking place, when humans project their incompleteness into the creation of gods and their counterparts, here on earth as well as beyond. Humans have always told stories about itself and the world with cosmogonies carrying reward and punishment as the most archetypal narratives. The album asks the eternal questions about who we are, which narratives shape us and if these will forever determine our species. These fundamental existential questions find their natural habitat in THE ARCANE ORDER’s unique, visionary extreme metal on “Distortions from Cosmogony”.
As the previous three, THE ARCANE ORDER’s new album “Distortions from Cosmogony” is recorded by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Arch Enemy, Volbeat, Katatonia a.o.) and in addition Jacob Bredahl (Lifesick, Eyes, Livløs ao.) has recorded vocals, while the guitars were tracked in Flemming C. Lund’s home studio.
“Distortions from Cosmogony” will be released on 2-LP, CD and physical formats and can be pre-ordered at THIS LOCATION while digital formats can be pre-saved HERE

KLUBBER LANG make a welcome and thunderous return with their new single ‘Warhound’, the perfect follow up to last Novembers, widely acclaimed ‘The Sad Professor’ , with the Dublin outfit continuing their release of unrelentingly visceral rock songs.
Klubber Lang have garnered many admirers both at home and further afield and have created a real level of expectation with the series of singles they have released over the last 3 years, this being their 8th under the FIFA Records banner. Add to this their explosive live shows, which have included much-coveted tour support slots with ‘Girls Against Boys’ and fellow Irish heavy hitters ‘Kerbdog’, it is no wonder why the quartet have garnered so many plaudits.
Like previous singles ’Make Amends’, ‘Sleep Well’, ‘I Will Not Wait’, ‘This Place’ and the aforementioned ‘The Sad Professor’, the Dublin noise merchants latest offering has the trade mark, pounding rhythm section, inventive guitar riffs and the brilliantly unique vocal delivery of frontman McGoldrick. Once again, the combination has delivered another original and compelling strain of noise rock.
Klubber Lang are Ciaran McGoldrick, Ciaran Tallon, Fin O’Leary and Ronan McHugh.
‘Insomnia Pt. 2’ of HOLE IN THE FRAME is the new single of a powerful groove metal band that brings us through a journey into the darkest side of our mind. Nightmares and fears are the main characters here and this young band is able to mix both modern and classic alternative instances in order to give us an exciting moment of pure and solid metal. The song is available through all digital platforms including Spotify thanks to the Italian record label Volcano Records & Promotion that also releases today a lyric video on YouTube.
Here the band’s words to introduce the kind of therapeutic moment that generates this tune, to their fans: “The emotional charge, caused by the rapid flow of social events, prevents us from having a peaceful sleep, and to fight insomnia we sit on our desk, with the lamplight and our pen. Let’s put down our thoughts, down on paper! Night reflection frees us from the war we face during the day!”
Boston, MA rock band JUNIUS are today premiering an acoustic rendition of their single, Transcend the Ghost, via Decibel. Transcend the Ghost was originally taken from their 2011 album Reports from the Threshold of Death, with the newest iteration of the track serving as a fresh reenvisioning of the song through a filmic perspective by 10 Seconds to Comply – a Philadelphia / Detroit film production nexus of writer Andrew Bonazelli, DP / director Manny OA and DP / director Ken Whiting.
Speaking on the premiere, JUNIUS‘ guitarist Joseph E. Martinez comments: “When Andrew approached me about the treatment he had written, I thought it was super interesting. A script inspired by a song, which in turn inspired me to transform that very song into something that would hopefully complement a future video.
“Knowing the treatment was on the darker side of things, I decided to lean into the light and ethereal, keep it more optimistic. So I had my daughter sing on it which added this haunting beauty, that I’m over the moon about. Having her contribute to this project has been a very surreal experience and undoubtedly a highlight of my life. Not to mention, Tom Syrowski’s amazing mix and production, he definitely took this to the next level, always honored to have him work on JUNIUS music.”
Andrew Bonazelli also shared: “I’ve interviewed, conservatively, 500 zillion bands for Decibel, and while it’s never boilerplate and always at least an interesting ride, pitching an artist on collaboration is still painfully nerve-wracking, even at my decaying boomer age. I was relieved at how receptive Joe was to my treatment, which was written specifically for him despite the fact that we’d never met.
“While I Cherish His Entire Catalogue, Michael Bolton-style, Reports From the Threshold of Death is a record that, no pun intended, has eternal life in my collection. I never would have imagined an extended meditation on the afterlife could be so well-researched, thought-provoking, crushingly heavy and emotionally poignant. Transcend the Ghost seems like an outlier on the album with its vulnerable, isolated vocals, that perfect kick drum before the distortion crashes in, the disarming optimism in the lyrics… it was a massive honor getting a seat on the sidelines while Joe crafted this gorgeous, delicate variation that marries so well to the images Manny crafted.
“The vast majority of our work at 10 Seconds to Comply has thus far been heavy on the old ultraviolence (our name is a Robocop reference, after all), so it was refreshing to have the opportunity to bring something so nuanced, enigmatic and (hopefully) moving to life. That can all be attributed to the hours of hard work that Joe and Manny poured into this.”
With Manny OA adding: “When I was approached with the treatment and song for this music video, I immediately had a vision for the concept. The idea of an old Victorian house with very soft light and ethereal motion felt like a perfect complement to the tone of the music. I also wanted this to be a fully narrative story without performance elements that could stand apart from the music, but also one that — together with the music as the score — would make a strong emotional impact.”
IMPERIAL TIDE — Landon Hill, vocals; William Barber, guitar; Keene Dadian, guitar; Tanner Galambas, bass; and Russel Schoenbeck, drums — have announced their new EP, Existence in Crisis, out August 18 via Mascot Records.
They have shared the new single “R.A.T.” Listen here.
“This track echoes the sentiment of the entire EP: ‘..if I light the match, I can set the fire,'” the band says. “This is our spark before we set the world ablaze. The chorus’ riff rips, while the punk influenced verses bring a consistent energy that makes you wonder what’s next. The song culminates with quite possibly the heaviest moment on the EP, our guitarist Keene’s vocals bring a level of grit we haven’t touched yet.”
As for the EP, the band shares, “Existence in Crisis is the reflection of the world around us, and our space we create in. The songs are a breath of fresh air without re-writing the history of the band. We put the songs together over a period of time that was filled with unrest, personally and socially. We had to say something about what we were seeing and the issues that were so blatantly present. At our core we aren’t afraid to ask questions or push back on the things we don’t agree with. The EP is our first step into pushing ‘Tide in a way that separates us from the standard product that our genre seems to revert to.”
Existence In Crisis, the Las Vegas, Nevada, and Los Angeles, California-based band’s debut EP for Mascot Records, is an exercise in bombastic creative freedom.
IMPERIAL TIDE follow that lineage with a metallic hardcore-punk assault untethered to genre conventions and ready to smash preconceptions. “We came from the hardcore and metalcore scenes,” charismatic frontman Hill explains. “And Las Vegas is different than anywhere else. The city gave us a hustle mindset. You can go there and get lost in the sauce, or you can find your own voice.”
The band of five childhood friends, who now call both Las Vegas and Los Angeles home, brandish a hyper-charged, relentless, and adrenalized style. They combine the exuberance of bands like Knocked Loose, the versatility and uncompromising creativity of Code Orange, and the heady depths of Gojira. Like Turnstile, they’re masters of melodic perseverance. And their breakdowns are harrowing AF.
From screen-printing their own merch to shooting and editing unique visual components, Imperial Tide built themselves in the hardcore-punk DIY tradition. “We have so many influences when it comes to music and just the different kinds of people we are as individuals,” notes Schoenbeck. “We pull from all those things and put ourselves into the music and energy we express.”
A “no rules” attitude informs their songwriting process. Sometimes Schoenbeck may start with programmed, hip-hop-style beats, or they’ll key in samples. The goal is to make something nostalgic and familiar to audiences, equally inspired, fresh, and distinct from what everyone else is doing.
