There has always been a strong link between the pioneering Motörhead and mighty Metallica. A unique bond of friendship between the two has stood over the decades, with Metallica even playing Lemmy’s 50th birthday in 1995 all dressed up as the great man himself, under the moniker of The Lemmy’s. In turn, Motörhead have paid homage to some of Metallica’s finest compositions, even winning a Grammy for their cover of ‘Whiplash’ in 2004. However their cover of one of the most iconic hard rock classics of all time, “Enter Sandman”, has been largely overlooked until now. Originally recorded for an ECW Wrestling compilation in 1998 (which was also nominated for a Grammy), the song has been unavailable outside said – CD until now….
In this incredible new animated video, take a horrifying nocturnal journey through the nightmares of a child who is haunted by the evil sandman in his dreams, and is ultimately saved by the powers of the inimitable Motörhead ‘Warpig’. The video was produced by Mulberry Creative.
Motörhead, Enter Sandman is also available on all streaming platforms now, including Dolby Atmos on Apple Music and 360 Spatial Audio on Amazon. There’s also an exclusive, limited edition 7” single with etched Warpig B-side with exclusive merch and bundles, available in the official Motörhead store while stocks last!

Just a few days ago CREST OF DARKNESS released the vinyl format of their classic album “Welcome The Dead”. To celebrate it, here is a lyric video of the song “Chosen By The Devil” realised by Brazilian designer Marcelo Silva.
In the meantime CREST OF DARKNESS are working on their next album, their ninth full-length and eleventh output, following their 2019 release, “The God Of Flesh”. Ingar’s words: “We are already at a good point in writing the songs for our next work. Some songs are ready, we have recorded some parts and I have to admit that it is sounding absolute great. What is coming out is something devastating both from a compositional point of view, both for the atmospheres created and for the malice that emerges from the new compositions. We can’t wait to play these new songs on stage for you to hear”.
Blackened death metal machine based in Trondheim, Norway NEXORUM unveil the official video for their new single “The Pestilential Wind”. The song is taken from their sophomore album “Tongue Of Thorns” which will be released on May 19th 2023 via Non Serviam Records.
“Behold ‘The Pestilential Wind’, the latest offering from Nexorum. As the haunting melodies and guttural vocals intertwine, one can feel the presence of Pazuzu, the ancient Babylonian demon of the southwest wind, summoned forth by the band’s infernal incantations. The blistering beats and eerie guitar riffs create a maelstrom of sound that takes the listener on a journey through a desolate wasteland, ravaged by the disease and suffering that the Pestilential Wind brings. This is a song that drips with malevolent power and unbridled fury, leaving all who hear it in awe of its dark majesty. Join Nexorum on this unholy quest, and let the Pestilential Wind carry you away into the deserts of old”, comments the band.
Events of the past years led NEXORUM down a much darker path, emphasizing the elements of black metal in the band’s music. As the second horseman of Revelations is currently pushing the world closer and closer to the brink of nuclear holocaust, Famine is sure to follow. Now the end times draw near, NEXORUM‘s upcoming album, “Tongue Of Thorns”, will serve as a sonic feast to stave off Famine. A fitting soundtrack when the Day of Wrath finally is upon us.

Canadian death-thrashers INVICTA have unleashed a brand new live video from their recent tour. Check it out below.
The band adds: “Fun and raw, live off the floor video from our Toronto show supporting Heathen and Arrival of Autumn on their East Coast North American Tour in March! Feels great to be playing these Triumph and Torment songs live! Battle the Beyond is a really fun song to play and has gone over very well with the crowds that we have played it to so far! I think it will become a set staple for years to come! “
The video recently premiered via Decibel Magazine and the feature can be found here.
SubLevel Records is proud to announce the new Invicta album Triumph and Torment, which was released on March 31st, 2023. Invicta guitarist/vocalist Kyle Edissi comments: “Our goal while writing and recording this record was to make it sound Vicious and Triumphant. We wanted each song to channel the villainous vibes that inspired it. We really challenged ourselves and feel that this is a big step beyond our previous material, while staying true to the Invicta sound. I am really proud of this album, and I am really proud of the band and everyone involved in its creation. ‘I was God… and yet, I was unchanged. I was not one with the universe. I was not content.’”
Triumph and Torment includes 10 tracks of vicious and melodic Death/Thrash fit for a battle in Hell. Featuring Heathen touring guitarist Kyle Edissi on guitar and vocals, Invicta is a force to be reckoned with, delivering the killer tracks “Forces of Annihilation” and “Sinister Obsession” in their quest for total Metal domination. Decibel Magazine is hosting the worldwide premiere of the new single by French death metallers LIQUID FLESH, “Tribunal Fantomatique”. Stream it HERE. LIQUID FLESH, who feature members of Epitaphe and Nightmare in their ranks, will be releasing the new album “Dolores” on May 26th 2023 via Time To Kill Records.
The band comment:
“After our second album “Chair Liquide” released in 2020, we wanted to proceed a little bit differently for the next one. Given the cinematic influences that have always guided our songwriting, we wanted to get closer to the process of creating a film. We made a draft for the cover, this draft inspired us a ‘screenplay’ in ten chapters, then we wrote the lyrics for ten ‘scenes’. The music came at the very end. The album tells a woman’s journey from an aimless way of life to a surreal ending after a bad encounter. It is all about the dullness of daily routine, addiction and manipulation, told in a hallucinated way. Musically, the foundations remain the same, death metal from the late 80’s, early 90’s, but with more atmospheric material than on our previous works. Nonetheless, Liquid Flesh is before all a live band, so we wanted to keep that energy intact. While listening, you will be dragged from rock ‘n’ roll grooves to crushing death metal riffs, through psychedelic and doom oriented sections. Versatile and straightforward are great adjectives to describe this album”.
Tracklist:
1) Urbex Macabre 2) La Danse des Ombres 3) Tapage Nocturne 4) Dose Létale Médiane 5) Tribunal Fantomatique 6) Océan de Failles 7) Cauchemar Blanc 8) Bicéphale 9) Sans Relâche 10) Brouillard Hypnotique
LIQUID FLESH is a death metal trio from the french Alps. Influenced by bands such as Entombed, Carcass, Undergang and Autopsy, the band plays catchy songs with evocative atmospheres, drawing inspiration from sci-fi and horror movies.
The band was founded in 2014 by four active members of the Grenoble metal scene. After some gigs between France and Italy, the band quickly recorded its debut album “Spontaneous Liquefaction”, which contains seven death metal compositions with synth parts and many references to horror movies.
In 2018, Putrid Bruce, also vocalist of Epitaphe, joined the band as vocalist and bass player. Now a trio, LIQUID FLESH started playing a more radical and sophisticated music, characterized by a relentless punk energy.
The band released the album “Chair Liquide” in September 2020, which received good feedback from the press.
In summer 2021, Glaviar left the band and was replaced by Cephalic Niels from the power/heavy metal band Nightmare.
LIQUID FLESH finally recorded a third album in 2022. Designed as a concept album, it takes the listener into a musical journey that is both straightforward and psychedelic. A dive into a universe melting the dirt of “Street Trash” and the ethereal atmosphere of “The Neon Demon”.
Line Up :
