US black metal duo STORMRULER have signed a worldwide deal with Distortion Music Group (DMG) – Powered by Reigning Phoenix Music. Alongside the announcement, STORMRULER present the new track, “Dark Age Of Deception.”
STORMRULER comment on the single release “Dark Age Of Deception”, “We chose this song to be at the forefront of the Imperial resurgence for a few reasons. First and foremost it’s a sonic battery draped in frozen and melancholic themes, the sort of soaring leads and blackened assault one has come to expect from a refined and matured STORMRULER. It also provides a peak into one of many legends told within the Realm of Aurelia, a world soon to be explored by many…”
“Dark Age Of Deception” is a standalone single marking STORMRULER’s introduction to DMG. Separate from the narrative of the upcoming album, the track delivers the band’s signature blend of melodic black metal, relentless aggression and sweeping atmosphere. Built on blistering riffs, rapid fire drumming and commanding melodies, it serves as a direct and uncompromising first statement from the band’s new chapter.
About STORMRULER:

With “Dark Age Of Deception,”STORMRULER rise through the all encompassing gloom with obliterating force. Plunging into a dark and immersive shroud of atmospheric layers and commanding intensity, “Dark Age Of Deception” signifies the band’s new chapter has commenced.
GODSLAVE present the new single “Repaid In Kind” – the self titled new studio album will be released on September 11 at Metalville.
With their new single “Repaid in Kind”, GODSLAVE tackle one of the most difficult steps of all: regaining one’s own peace after others have left deep wounds.
Not out of naivety. Not because what happened has been forgotten. But because hatred and revenge only give the perpetrators further power over one’s own life.
Musically, the song is as multifaceted as its message: driving thrash metal meets the epic melodies and catchy hooks that have always set GODSLAVE apart and given their sound a signature style all its own.
The song’s message is as uncomfortable as it is liberating: True strength isn’t shown by repaying evil with evil, but by breaking the cycle.
“Repaid in Kind”—and especially its accompanying music video—is dedicated to all those who have suffered at the hands of others’ cruelty and yet have forged their own path.
A song about empathy, inner freedom, and the courage to give yourself the greatest gift of all: your own peace!

Maryland-based metalcore band Omen//Skye have released their new single and lyric video, “Vanquish,” available via Arson Theory. The track is the latest single from the band’s most recent EP, The Thoughts That Haunt Us, and is available on all major streaming platforms.
Produced by Drew Licurgo and Six:Eight Audio, “Vanquish” is an emotionally charged track centered on one of life’s darkest battles: finding the strength to keep going when everything feels lost.
The composition for “Vanquish” was largely written by former guitarist Brian Baugus, with chorus lyrics composed by Josh Grzywacz. Vocalist Nick Troisi developed the verse lyrics and overall concept, drawing directly from his own battle with addiction.
At its core, “Vanquish” is about reaching the lowest point imaginable and making the conscious decision to persevere. The song explores the struggle against addiction, depression, and suicidal thoughts while ultimately delivering a message of resilience and choosing life.
Troisi shares, “I was down and out, I thought that this was the end. But I picked myself up and started fighting again. It’s a conscious choice between life and death, and when it comes for you… DON’T. GIVE. IN.”
Blending cinematic atmosphere, crushing riffs, and emotionally charged melodic hooks, Omen//Skye continue to establish themselves as one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most promising heavy acts. Built on the foundation of explosive live performances, the band seamlessly merges the intensity of classic metalcore with the innovation of the genre’s modern wave, forging a sound that is both familiar and unmistakably their own.
With its crushing instrumentation and deeply personal message, “Vanquish” captures the moment when surrender and survival stand on opposite sides of a decision. Rather than romanticizing the darkness, Omen//Skye confront it head-on, transforming personal struggle into an anthem for anyone fighting to find their way back.
“Vanquish” is available now on all major streaming platforms via Arson Theory, HERE.
As Omen//Skye continue building momentum, they have become known for delivering high-energy performances that leave a lasting impression. Their growing catalog of releases and relentless drive have earned them support slots alongside artists including If Not For Me, Tallah, Resistor, Yosemite In Black, Waking the Cadaver, The Wise Man’s Fear, and Softspoken, positioning the band for continued expansion onto the national touring circuit.

To celebrate the signing, the Perth, Australia natives have released their new single “A Stitch In Time Saves None,” featuring Telle Smith of The Word Alive.

Their latest release continues that mission, pairing the band’s emotionally charged metalcore with the unmistakable presence of Telle Smith, creating a powerful collaboration that underscores the band’s evolution.
Patient Sixty-Seven has become a band built not on hype or industry shortcuts, but on heart, perseverance, and the belief that heavy music can be a lifeline. Emerging from the isolated but fiercely creative city of Perth, the band has steadily grown from a local act into a globally recognized name within the modern metalcore community.
From their earliest releases, Patient Sixty-Seven have distinguished themselves through their willingness to confront difficult emotions head-on. Their music explores fear, grief, self-doubt, isolation, and the struggles that come with simply being human, turning those experiences into songs that offer listeners a sense of connection and understanding.
That vulnerability has helped the band cultivate a fiercely loyal and engaged fanbase. Patient Sixty-Seven’s audience has never simply been about numbers; fans have shared their own stories, found comfort in the band’s lyrics, and formed genuine connections with one another through the music. Over the years, that community has become an integral part of the Patient Sixty-Seven identity.
Now, with their signing to SBG Records, the band is taking that community and their music into a new era.
“A Stitch In Time Saves None” showcases the band continuing to push their sound forward while maintaining the emotional intensity that has defined their work. Featuring Telle Smith, the track adds another dimension to Patient Sixty-Seven’s already dynamic approach to modern metalcore and represents the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the band.
With a decade of perseverance behind them and a global community standing beside them, Patient Sixty-Seven are proving that authenticity has no borders—and that sometimes the heaviest music can be the music that reminds you that you’re not alone.
The wait is over: Today, modern metal outfit A COLD PARADISE release their highly anticipated self-titled debut album, A Cold Paradise, via PERCEPTION – Powered By Reigning Phoenix Music. A COLD PARADISE was founded in 2025 by Antonio Calanna, known to many metalheads as the former vocalist of All For Metal. The project was born from a desire to emphasize atmosphere, melody, and emotional depth within heavy music, without compromising its force.

Since their formation, A COLD PARADISE have quickly proven themselves as one of the most promising new names in modern metal. Finnish modern metal band EVENT RELENTLESS are putting the spotlight on “The Last Chance”, one of the key tracks from their upcoming new album. Originally released in 2025, the song’s official music video is now receiving renewed attention as the band prepares for the release of their new full-length album in early 2027. The video has already surpassed 50,000 views on YouTube, giving the track a strong second wave of attention ahead of the album’s release.
Rather than being a new release, the video represents an early glimpse into the sound and direction of the upcoming album. With the album currently in production and another new single expected before its release, “The Last Chance” offers listeners an opportunity to discover one of the tracks that helped shape the band’s next chapter.
“If someone asked what Event Relentless is all about…”
Vocalist and guitarist Juho Raita describes “The Last Chance” as a song that captures the essence of the band: “If someone asked what Event Relentless is all about, I would play them this song. The track clearly showcases the band’s core elements: heavy riffs, melodic hooks, and big choruses. It’s straightforward, honest metal, with a bit of technical guitar and drum work sprinkled in to keep things interesting.”
The song combines the band’s characteristic heavy guitar work with melodic hooks and large choruses, giving an early indication of the musical direction EVENT RELENTLESS are taking on their forthcoming album.
Filmed in Tampere
The music video for “The Last Chance” was filmed in Hiedanranta, Tampere, Finland an urban industrial area whose atmosphere matched the band’s aesthetic.
Bassist Henri Soisalo explains: “We considered what would be a great location to film a video for this song, and from a few options, the Hiedanranta area in Tampere was chosen. The setting felt suitably urban, offering just the right amount of grit that matches our vibe. The building where we filmed was actually under renovation at the time, so while we were blasting metal at full volume through the speakers, construction workers were carrying out their jobs right behind the camera.”
The result is a raw and energetic performance video that reflects the character of the song and the band’s Tampere roots.
Watch and stream “The Last Chance”:
The video has now surpassed 50,000 views on YouTube, providing a strong response to the track despite receiving little promotional support when it was originally released.
The upcoming album is currently in the works and is planned for early 2027. The band is also expected to release more singles before the album arrives.
The next chapter of EVENT RELENTLESS
Formed in 2013, EVENT RELENTLESS have built their reputation through more than 150 live shows across 15 countries, developing an international following along the way. Their music has been described as “hybrid metal” — combining aggressive, hard-hitting guitar riffs with melodic and grandiose choruses.
Following the release of their self-titled EP in 2018 and debut full-length album Circle in 2019, the band continued releasing new material throughout 2020–2025.
Now, with their new album taking shape, EVENT RELENTLESS are pushing their sound further than ever before.
Commenting on the new album, Juho Raita says: “We are officially working on our next album, and we are pushing our sound further than ever before. For this record, we are focusing on heavy, hard-hitting riffs that make you want to move, combined with massive, catchy melodic choruses. That balance between raw energy and strong melodic hooks is at the heart of the new EVENT RELENTLESS sound. We are putting everything we have into these new songs, and we cannot wait for people to hear how the band has evolved. The next chapter starts now.”
