Modern metal force Senki is proud to spotlight the official music video for “Szilánkok” (Splinters), the titular track from their acclaimed EP. Originally released in 2024, the video serves as a hauntingly beautiful visual companion to a song that defines the band’s raw, self-reflective ethos.
“Szilánkok” single holds a pivotal place in the band’s history as the first track completed for the EP. The song catalyzed a new creative direction for founder Ákos Rikter, born from the crucible of a personal relationship crisis. It explores the painful friction between chasing artistic dreams and fulfilling the responsibilities of being a partner and a head of a family.
“It is about those realizations whose liberating quality stems from experiencing and granting freedom,” says Rikter. “These realizations made letting go easier, eventually allowing us to find each other again and for everything to fall into place.”
Musically, “Szilánkok” encapsulates the Senki sound: a sophisticated blend of heavy, groove-driven riffs and atmospheric melodies. The track’s emotional weight is matched by intense vocals that transition from visceral aggression to vulnerable reflection, mirroring the “splinters” of a fracturing and then healing life.
Founded in 2018 as a solo project by Ákos Rikter, Senki has evolved from humble acoustic beginnings into a formidable full-band powerhouse. Following the addition of bassist Olivér Takács in 2022 and the arrival of drummer Adrián Miskoltzy in late 2025, the lineup is now finalized and more potent than ever. Based in Hungary, Senki delivers honest, thought-provoking music designed to connect deeply with the listener. With a fully-formed lineup, Senki is currently preparing for a string of high-energy live performances and is deep in the writing process for their debut full-length album.

Since the explosive success of Inferi’s critically-acclaimed and chart topping 2018 full-length, ‘Revenant,’ the death metal battalion has continued to relentlessly churn like a raging maelstrom, dominating everything in its wake with the band’s melodic and virtuosic approach to the genre. ‘Heaven Wept’ picks up where 2021’s ‘Vile Genesis’ left off, putting forth the same mind-bending compositions and other-worldly musicianship that has set the band apart from their contemporaries. Inferi has risen to become a dominant force among modern American death metal acts since their reunion in 2011. ‘Heaven Wept’ is a master class in progressive extremity and is certain to make its mark as one of the greatest death metal offerings of this decade.

Formed in 2006, INFERI is an American technical melodic death metal band forged from the depths of Nashville, Tennessee. After reforming in 2011, INFERI emerged onto the global stage with ‘The Path of Apotheosis’ in 2014. Followed by the acclaimed 2018 release ‘Revenant,’ which landed at #26 Hard Rock albums and #28 on the Billboard’s Heatseekers charts, solidifying them as a household name in the underground technical death metal scene. Touring across the world with bands such Rivers of Nihil, Archspire, Shadow of Intent, Cryptopsy, Signs of the Swarm, Brand of Sacrifice, Deicide and Revocation allowed INFERI to continue on their upward trajectory. Creeping their way up the charts, and into the minds of new fans with ‘The End of an Era: Rebirth’ in 2019, their ‘Of Sunless Realms’ EP in 2020, and 2021’s ‘Vile Genesis.’ Now in 2026 INFERI stands ready to unleash their most devastating album to date, ‘Heaven Wept’.
No Clean Singing hosts the official full album premiere of URLUK’s new record, “Memories in Fade”, released on April 10th via Pest Records.
With this work, the Italian band further refines and expands its artistic vision, moving beyond the boundaries of black-doom into a broader and more emotionally nuanced sound. Rooted in their signature darkness, “Memories in Fade” weaves in ’90s alternative rock influences, ambient layers, and subtle neo-folk elements, shaping a fluid and immersive listening experience. The album unfolds as a cohesive narrative rather than a collection of standalone tracks, each piece contributing to a wider, introspective journey.
In addition, Fiadh Productions has confirmed that a dedicated cassette edition of “Memories in Fade” is scheduled for release in the coming months, offering a carefully curated physical counterpart that further enhances the album’s atmospheric depth and collectible appeal.
Following the atmospheric and introspective journey of their previous works, this new record marks a clear evolution in the band’s sound, embracing a more sinuous and emotionally driven approach.
“Memories in Fade” expands the band’s black-doom foundation with layers of ’90s alternative rock, ambient textures and neo-folk influences, creating a complex yet cohesive sonic narrative. Unlike conventional song structures, the album seeks a storytelling quality, where each track contributes to a broader, immersive experience while remaining grounded in the project’s artistic identity.
Throughout the album, clean vocals and intense screaming alternate, complementing a diverse palette of riffs that shift from melancholic and brooding to sharp and dynamic. The mood is consistently dark and enveloping, reflecting both personal introspection and the uncertainties of contemporary life. The result is a record that feels cinematic in scope, balancing heaviness and subtlety in equal measure.
Recorded with meticulous attention to atmosphere and texture, “Memories in Fade” represents URLUK’s ongoing exploration of emotional depth within extreme metal. The band continues to intertwine local identity, narrative sensibility, and musical experimentation, offering listeners a journey that is both intimate and expansive.
Tracklist:
01. Angles of Hauntology 02. Lying There 03. Yesterday’s Letters 04. Liminal Vortices 05. The Last Watch
URLUK was formed in July 2020 in Lombardy, Italy. The band’s name refers to a nocturnal bird of prey native to the region, reflecting a strong connection to its territory, an element also expressed visually through booklet photographs taken by the members themselves. Their sound, defined as black doom melancholic metal, merges black metal and doom into a dark and melancholic sonic landscape.
The lineup has remained unchanged since the beginning: M. (screaming and clean vocals, drums; formerly in Black Oath 2006–2010) and U. (clean vocals, guitars, bass, and lyrics), ensuring a coherent and recognizable identity.
The debut EP, “Loss” (2022), released via Black Mass Prayer and later reissued by Depressive Illusion Records, explores the theme of loss as a condition of profound human vulnerability.
The first full-length album, “More” (2023), released by Remparts Productions, represents a natural evolution. Conceptually centered on melancholy as the enduring aftermath of loss, the album expands the band’s sound, from ’90s black metal and doom to ambient and subtle folk influences, while featuring guest contributions from Carlo Altobelli (Vision Deprived, Camposanto, ex-Moral Values), Giovanni (Mindful of Pripyat, Corporal Raid, Henoa), and Luxitan (ex-Gosforth).
Work on a new album began at the end of 2023. Conceived as a sonic journey through memory and dreamlike dimensions, the record blends ’90s alternative rock, ambient, hauntology, neo-folk, and black metal within a vision described as ALT B/L/A/C/K/. Recorded at Orion Recording Studios between 2025 and early 2026, and featuring Francesco Cucinotta (Felis Catus, Sinoath), the album marks a further step in the band’s ongoing artistic evolution.

Alt/Pop/Synthwave artist Arena returns with a powerful re-imagining of Lou Gramm’s iconic hit “Just Between You and Me,” delivering a modern, synth-driven take on the classic track while honoring its timeless heart. The song was produced by Justin “JD” deBlieck (Ice Nine Kills).
“Covering ‘Just Between You and Me’ honestly meant a lot to me. Being from Rochester, NY and growing up knowing that a voice as legendary as Lou Gramm came from the same place—it hits different. There’s a real pride in that. I didn’t want to just cover the song, I wanted to do it justice while bringing my own sound into it. It’s one of those moments where everything just feels aligned,” says Arena.
The collaboration marks a full-circle moment for Arena, who has been driven by music from a young age. Picking up his first guitar at the age of 10, Joey Arena knew there was no “Plan B”—music was his calling. By 17, he was already a road-seasoned performer, playing night after night and steadily building a loyal fanbase. Hailing from Rochester, NY—a city that’s produced household names like Lou Gramm and Steve Gadd—Arena’s musical journey is deeply rooted in a city rich with artistry and influence.
Arena is the neon-lit solo synthwave project of Joey Arena, blending cinematic 80s nostalgia with modern polish and emotional depth. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of analog synths, arena rock, and late-night cityscapes, Arena delivers a sound that feels both timeless and urgent—like a soundtrack to a memory you never lived, but somehow remember.
The project made an immediate impact with its debut single—a reimagined cover of “Dreams” by Van Halen—which caught the attention and endorsement of rock icon Sammy Hagar himself. That early recognition set the tone for Arena’s trajectory: honoring legends while carving out a distinct sonic identity.
Building on that momentum, Arena went on to release three singles under a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, further cementing the project’s place in the modern synthwave and retro revival scene. Arena continued bridging generations with a powerful cover of “No Easy Way Out”—featuring original artist Robert Tepper—bringing new life to an iconic anthem.
Now, Arena returns with a deeply personal release: a synth-driven reinterpretation of
“Just Between You and Me” by fellow Rochester, New York native Lou Gramm. It’s a full-circle moment—paying homage to hometown roots while pushing the sound forward into new territory.
With each release, Arena continues to blur the lines between past and present—reviving the spirit of arena rock through a synthwave lens, and proving that some sounds never fade… they evolve.

Members of the “7D Army” make a very active commitment to being part of this family—as evinced by sold-out shows worldwide and innumerable tattoos of the band’s logo and lyrics. Since 1994, the iconic Atlanta quintet have quietly built a legacy without parallel, encompassing sales of nearly eight million albums, a GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best Metal Performance,” three Top 15 entries on the Billboard 200, hundreds of millions of streams, and the fierce loyalty of millions of listeners in every corner of the globe. However, the guys really delivered for their diehard base with 2026’s ONE [Napalm Records].
