“Sea Of Glass” is the latest single from instrumental post-rock collective IF THESE TREES COULD TALK. At once dreamy and powerful, the band’s newest hymn comes by way of the band’s forthcoming full-length, The Hidden Hand, set for release on July 10th through Metal Blade Records.
Comments drummer Zack Kelly, “‘Sea Of Glass’ offers a smooth optimistic post-rock landscape guided by uplifting clean guitars and heavy chorus hooks which pay off with a haunting and explosive resolution.”
Watch the band’s previously released video for “Blurry Creatures” HERE.
The Akron, Ohio-based outfit has been praised by Metal Hammer for their, “uplifting post-rock that layers cascading guitars over tight drums with a deep emotional resonance,” while the lineup’s Metal Blade debut (and third LP overall), 2016’s The Bones Of A Dying World, was called “a fluid-flowing masterpiece that builds upon complex, progressive dreamscapes.”
This year’s The Hidden Hand boasts nine stellar and plainly provocative songs. IF THESE TREES COULD TALK focuses on capturing sonic power, utilizing the three guitars to cover different areas of the spectrum.
“Most parts usually start with a loop pedal and delay, from there a natural bass line will reveal itself and we can build from there after lots of trial and error,” explains Zack, who co-founded the band with drummer-brother Cody Kelly in 2005. “Drums patterns can also help play against the loop and create a movement or flow to help build the counts and changes. The IF THESE TREES COULD TALK experience feels like a slow, wordless conversation between the inner and outer world best consumed like the score to a cinematic picture or a space for meditation, healing, and clarity.”
North Carolina progressive alt-metal outfit STELLAR CIRCUITS have unveiled their latest single, ‘Wounded Healer,’ available now via Nuclear Blast Records.
Continuing the creative momentum established by their acclaimed album Phantom :: Phoenix and recent standalone single ‘Spotlight,’ ‘Wounded Healer’ fuses crushing heaviness with melodic and dissonant tension, mirroring the struggle between decay and redemption. Driven by themes of inner sickness and fragile transformation, it confronts the breaking point—where healing and destruction collide, and survival demands you make your move before you dissolve away.
Following the success of Phantom :: Phoenix, which further solidified the band’s reputation for crafting immersive and emotionally resonant modern metal, STELLAR CIRCUITS continue to demonstrate why they remain one of the genre’s most exciting and forward-thinking acts.
Released in late 2025 to widespread praise from fans and critics alike, Phantom :: Phoenix represented a defining moment for STELLAR CIRCUITS, showcasing the band’s ability to seamlessly merge progressive complexity, crushing heaviness, and cinematic atmosphere with deeply personal songwriting. The album explored themes of rebirth, perseverance, and self-discovery through tracks such as ‘I See Your Spirit,’ ‘Corridor,’ and ‘Bury The Ashes,’ further establishing the band’s reputation for creating emotionally resonant music without sacrificing technical prowess or intensity.
Stellar Circuits has rapidly become one of the most compelling voices in modern progressive metal. Following their acclaimed 2023 Nuclear Blast debut, Sight To Sound, the band has continued to push boundaries with a sound that balances crushing heaviness, immersive textures, and deeply personal songwriting. Known for their dynamic live performances, Stellar Circuits have toured extensively alongside acts such as Chevelle and Arch Echo, earning a reputation as one of the genre’s most captivating rising acts.

Hymns In Dissonance, WHITECHAPEL‘s most recent studio recording released last Spring via Metal Blade Records, finds the band reinventing themselves, going darker, deeper, and heavier than ever before. Revolver lauded “a blistering attack of ground-fissuring blasts, terror-thrashed guitar melodies and guts-hucking mosh sections.” Metal Injection concurred noting, “it’s heavy as shit, it’s unrelenting, and it will destroy you.” MetalSucks championed, “one of WHITECHAPEL’s heaviest offerings since the glory days of The Somatic Defilement and This Is Exile,” adding, “It captures that same raw energy and mouth-frothing rage in a way that… hasn’t been seen for quite some time, but with a new and improved modern twist borne of the nearly twenty years of experience they have accumulated since then,” while Blabbermouth hailed the band’s “…white-knuckle, weaponized deathcore with brains, brawn, and a point to prove. Hold on to your helmets.”
The record earned the #2 position on Billboard’s Current Hard Rock Albums chart, #3 on Independent Label Current Albums chart, #4 on the Current Rock Albums chart and #7 on the Digital Albums chart upon its first week of release.

Sari Schorr has signed a recording agreement with Artone Label Group / Provogue. For years, Schorr has been building a global career on the road, first as back-up singer, and later as a bona fide headliner. This year alone, she will stage a hundred performances across The U.K. and Europe. Her debut on Artone Label Group / Provogue will come this Fall timed to a long three month tour of Europe that takes her to most countries across the continent.
The release coming later this year will be the singer’s third solo album. Legendary Producer Mike Vernon came out of retirement to record her debut album in 2018, following close to twenty years of building notoriety as a globally recognized vocalist. Throughout that period of time, alongside tireless activities on the road, she committed a significant amount of her time and energy to humanitarian efforts in India and Haiti.
Prior to meeting Vernon, she had been touring with Joe Louis Walker. Her interests in immersing herself in the Blues brought her to an event being staged by the Blues Foundation in Memphis. Over the course of that week, she was a guest artist during a performance at the New Daisy Theater, where Vernon was present. He was in town having won Producer of the Year at that year’s Blues Foundation annual event, and the relationship that began that year continued to grow throughout the remainder of his life.
Their relationship yielded her debut titled A Force of Nature. Her second release, Never Say Never, was released in 2019. That album was a collaboration with her songwriting partner and producer Henning Gehrke. She followed with Live In Europe in 2020. In 2023, she gained notoriety as the vocalist on Robin Trower’s Joyful Sky release. The experience yielded her introduction to the executives she has now chosen to be in business with as she looks forward to the next chapter in her broadening career as she approaches the release of her third solo album.
Schorr shares, “To be welcomed into a label family alongside so many talented artists I deeply respect is something I’m truly grateful for. My experience with Joyful Sky showed me firsthand how much this label believes in and supports its artists. I’m excited to share this journey with people I admire, trust, and genuinely enjoy working with.”
Label Owner Ed van Zijl offers, “Sari Schorr is a powerhouse artist with a incredible voice. We’re proud to welcome her to Provogue and excited for the journey ahead.”
When it comes to the Producers of this album, Jamie Walker and Luke Paget, she states, “They are incredibly talented, humble producers and songwriting partners. They enabled me to deliver my vision with complete artistic freedom. Being so enthusiastic with the ideas being put forth, I was inspired to step beyond the familiar, into that space where the best ideas seem to find you. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created together, and I can’t wait for the world to hear it.”
Neil Fairclough, touring bassist for Queen and Adam Lambert, who joined Sari for performances in Spain this past week shares, “I don’t know if I have ever seen the emotional response from audience I witness when Sari takes the stage. Her songs of resilience and freedom, and her restless pursuit of excellence she carries forward is one of the most powerful audience / entertainer dynamics I’ve ever witnessed.”
Women-led, talented Brazilian Rock band Malvada are pleased to share their new single, “Aventura Favorita”, along with an official visualizer, available now via Frontiers Music Srl.
The band stated: “Aventura Favorita” is about finding someone who makes the world seem bigger and somehow still feels like home.”
The rising star of the Brazilian rock scene has a name: Malvada, and they are ready to take over the world!
Malvada was initially formed in March 2020, during the beginning of the pandemic. With a rock n’ roll style full of personality, the band quickly attracted attention as one of the most promising acts in the Brazilian rock scene.
In January 2021, Malvada released their first single entitled “Mais Um Gole”, which gained greater prominence in the scene. Shortly afterwards, in May of the same year, it was time to release the second single “Cada Escolha uma Renúncia”, which preceded the launch of the band’s debut album, “A Noite Vai Ferver”.
In the years 2022 and 2023, Malvada solidified its presence on the national rock panorama, performing more than a hundred shows in several cities in Brazil. The band had the privilege of participating in huge festivals, such as Rock in Rio, Best of Blues and Rock, Angra Fest and Chama Rock, sharing the stage with renowned national and international rock names, like Pitty, Ira!, Angra, Viper, Edu Falaschi, Matanza, Golpe de Estado, Extreme and Tom Morello.
In November 2023, Malvada, composed of Indira Castillo, Bruna Tsuruda, Rafaela Reoli and Juliana Salgado surprised with a big announcement: the band has become the newest signee of the prestigious Italian label Frontiers Records, which has renowned bands in its catalog such as Mr. Big, Asia, Whitesnake, Jeff Scott Soto, among others, promising to take them to a new level, with opportunities to expand their reach and conquer the global market.
Their latest self-titled album, released last June and produced by the Brazilian Grammy awarded producer Giu Daga, delivers a powerful and exciting musical experience, featuring tracks in both English and Portuguese, setting the bar for the band to conquer a global audience.
Malvada recently toured Europe with Michael Schenker, wrapping the tour up last month, and are set to play again at Rock in Rio in September, along with Bring Me The Horizon, Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Omens and Poppy.
