Formed in Thessaloniki in 2018, Paranoid Reverb have steadily built their reputation through a distinctive blend of massive riffs, hypnotic grooves and dark psychedelic atmospheres. Their sound moves seamlessly between raw heaviness and immersive sonic depth, establishing them as one of the most promising heavy psych acts emerging from Greece.
The band’s debut album Billion Drops, released in 2020, introduced Paranoid Reverb to the European underground scene and gained attention for its dynamic songwriting. Since then, the band have shared the stage with acts such as High on Fire, Unida, Dopethrone, Nightstalker and Planet of Zeus, while performing at numerous shows and festivals throughout Greece and beyond.
Now entering a new chapter with frontman Manos Gotsis, alongside Timos Tyflioris on bass, Petros Xevgenis and Themis Georgiadis on guitars, and Xenofon Zafiropoulos on drums, Paranoid Reverb are preparing to release their second full length album in 2026 through Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records.
Serving as the first taste of what lies ahead, “Red River” showcases the band’s evolving vision while remaining firmly rooted in the heavy psych and stoner rock foundations that have shaped their sound since day one.
Human Within is a powerful new force emerging from Australia’s metal scene, born as a passion project from guitarist Ben Thomas (Dragonsclaw, Night Legion) alongside drummer Aaron Thomas and commanding vocalist Adam Denlinger (MaYaN, Area 51). Blending melodic intensity with crushing riffs, the band channels years of collective experience into a sound that is both technically sharp and emotionally resonant.
Their debut EP, Behind The Mask, marks a bold first statement fusing intricate guitar work, crushing rhythms, and soaring vocal dynamics into a cohesive and immersive listening experience. With a focus on depth, energy, and a modern metal style, Human Within arrive fully formed, setting the stage for a striking new chapter in heavy music.

Polish atmospheric black/doom metal project Divine Sovereign returns with the lyric video for “Pledge,” a track taken from the forthcoming album Autaxia Chronicles: A House Divided.
Following the debut “Autaxia Chronicles: Dawn of the New Age”, the new record continues the unfolding narrative of Autaxia—a world shaped by conflict, belief, and the slow erosion of power. Where independence once marked a turning point, it now gives way to decline. The inhabitants’ psionic abilities begin to fade, pushing their rulers toward increasingly extreme measures.
“Pledge”captures a pivotal moment in the story. One of the central anti-heroes, the Archpriest, performs a forbidden ritual to summon the ancient gods long abandoned by his people. His aim is clear: immortality at any cost. What follows is an act of devotion turned violent, as he prepares to sacrifice his own kind in pursuit of power.
The track reflects the wider themes of A House Divided, in which faith shifts from a unifying force to a catalyst for fracture and internal conflict. The album explores how belief systems—historically and within the narrative—can shape societies, but also break them apart.
Musically, Divine Sovereign continues to develop its identity through a blend of atmospheric black metal and epic doom. Expansive compositions, layered textures, and a strong narrative focus drive the project forward, drawing influence from acts such as Ethereal Shroud, Panopticon, Gallowbraid, and Atlantean Kodex.

Atmospheric metal collective Cairiss have officially broken a decade-long hiatus to announce their highly anticipated debut full-length album, Wilderness, releasing on 31st July 2026.
To mark their re-emergence, the band has delivered two powerful visual introductions to the album’s core themes. This includes the official music video for lead single “Nervosa”—a bleak, cinematic portrayal of psychological isolation, featuring stark black-and-white performance footage interwoven with unsettling imagery of water and binding rope—alongside a stunning, completely hand-animated music video by vocalist Freya Brown for the track “Wildfire”.
Cairiss first redefined the boundaries of the underground scene with their landmark 2014 demo “Disgraced”—a single track that went on to amass over 2 million streams. Ten years in the making, Wilderness is less of a standard comeback and more of a total reclamation of their sonic identity. The record bridges a ten-year gap between survival and integration, mapping the dissociative fragmentation of the self following life-altering trauma.
Musically, Cairiss sit precisely where black metal’s cold intensity meets the immersive haze of shoegaze. Their sound is a study in majestic contrast: tectonic, blackened guitar fury and harsh vocals plunge into a maelstrom of noise, only to be seamlessly offset by orchestral harmonies, major-chord shifts, and ethereal choral arrangements. The result shifts the genre away from traditional themes and toward the crystalline, ’80s arthouse aesthetic of the iconic 4AD label, echoing the raw intensity of Oathbreaker and the atmospheric despair of Unrequited.
Meticulously recorded over several years at the band’s own ELM Studio, Wilderness was mixed and mastered by guitarist Ethan Bishop. The production intentionally prioritises natural acoustic character and raw emotional authenticity over sterile digital precision, creating a listening experience that feels simultaneously expansive and claustrophobic.
