After the successful release and reviews of their first single ‘What is it like to Lose?’, Falling into View are proud to release their second single ‘On with the Show‘, out now.
As with their first single ‘On With the Show’ has already received BBC Introducing airplay and is a crowd favourite at their live shows. Written and composed by singer Alyssa, she notes “this song is about being in a relationship, whether it be platonic or not, that is stuck in a vicious cycle, those times when you try and try to make the relationship work but in the end you have to embrace the change and see what life will be like if you break out of it.”
Once again recorded at Magic Garden Studios in the West Midlands and produced by multi-platinum and BMA award winner Gavin Monaghan, this song will appeal to lovers of Americana, Country and Pop. Receiving fantastic reviews across their early live shows, Falling into View blend the best of Country and Americana with an unashamed nod to Pop, delivering a sound that will resonate with fans of multiple artists and genres.
Singer Alyssa has previously made waves as a BBC Introducing featured artist. Allan, the band’s chief songwriter, carries the torch as its most seasoned musician, having also played alongside drummer Gordon in previous band The Idle Quiet. After that band’s chapter closed, Gordon suggested Alyssa take the microphone for a new project, bringing ex work colleague, and long-term friend, Rob on board to play bass. Lead guitarist and former bandmate of Rob, Bernie joined soon after, completing a lineup that came together as if it were meant to be, with everything “Falling into View” nicely!
With a rich mix of influences and an undeniable chemistry and an ability to not take itself too seriously, Falling into View is ready to make its mark—one song at a time.
Live show: 25th Oct, The Dragonffli, Pontypool
Alyssa Wint (vocals and acoustic guitar) Allan Price (rhythm guitar) Bernie Eacock (lead guitar and backing vocals) Rob Beavan (bass guitar and backing vocals) Gordon (Gordy) Wint (drums and occasional backing vocals)
Following the release of their 2023 album, Dream Drop has been busy in the studio. Now after releasing blackcastle: pt.1, the second chapter blackcastle: pt.2 takes the begining into a new era with the band during this autumn.
Their second EP dives even deeper into the concept of a perfect dream world, a vision of a peaceful life spent on a porch in old age. But in reality, that dream feels distant and unreachable. The “castle” becomes a symbol of that life slipping through your fingers, a theme echoed in both the sound and visuals. First single out is ”Anfinset”
It starts with a longing… You build a castle in a dream, and before you know it, you’ve moved in…
Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH (@5fdp) are marking their 20th anniversary with the release of two definitive greatest hits collections: Best Of – Volume 1 (available now) and, announced today, Best Of – Volume 2 (forthcoming October 24, 2025). Pre-save and pre-order Volume 2 HERE. Both collections feature newly re-recorded versions of the band’s biggest anthems, created in response to their former label’s sale of the original song masters – made without the band’s knowledge or the opportunity to reclaim their legacy.
Turning that setback into something powerful and positive, the band chose not to simply remix or remaster but to fully re-record fan favorites across two volumes of greatest hits – both as a tribute to the songs and to the fans who’ve stood with the band over the last two decades.
While respecting and honoring the original recordings and those who helped shape them, the band is excited to revisit and bring renewed intensity to tracks like “Sham Pain,” “Blue On Black,” “Trouble,” and “Burn MF.” Together, the two Best Of collections celebrate the band’s respect for the past while reintroducing the music for a new era. See the full album track list for Best Of – Volume 2 below.
Leading the charge as the first single from Best Of – Volume 2 is the 2025 version of “The End” featuring BABYMETAL. Vocalist SU-METAL reflects: “We were invited to take part in a 20th-anniversary collaboration project featuring guest artists on past songs. Five Finger Death Punch and BABYMETAL had performed at the same festival overseas back in 2015, so I was really happy thinking they might have remembered me from then. I sang Japanese lyrics inspired by and based on the original lyrics of “The End,” and spent a lot of time experimenting to figure out what kind of voice would best suit such a deep, cool track. My favorite part of the song is the flow from the section starting with “Negai o kakete” right after the chorus into the break — I loved how my voice gradually got covered and engulfed by Ivan’s growl, which gave me chills. I hope listeners will enjoy that moment as well.”
With over 13 billion streams, countless #1 hits, and multiple gold and platinum certifications, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH remain one of the most dominant rock acts of the 21st century. Their 20th anniversary continues with Best Of – Volume 2, out October 24 via Better Noise Music, featuring 16 re-recorded classics plus three never-before-heard live versions of “Wash It All Away,” “Wrong Side Of Heaven,” and “Jekyll And Hyde.”
Best Of – Volume 2 is being released worldwide in multiple formats, including standard CD and vinyl, a limited edition CD exclusive to Walmart, multiple collectible vinyl editions available at Best Buy, Walmart, the Five Finger Death Punch webstore, indie retail, and a Revolver Magazine exclusive.

About BABYMETAL: Formed in 2010, BABYMETAL quickly gained popularity in Japan for their explosive live shows. By 2013, they had become a force of their own — opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers, Korn, and Lady Gaga, and bringing the ferocity of metal to a global audience. With over 15 years of history and a diehard international following, BABYMETAL isn’t just a band — they’re a movement redefining what heavy music looks and sounds like. Fronted by three dynamic women — SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL — BABYMETAL has helped reshape the face of metal, inspiring a new generation of women and girls who see themselves in this sound and on these stages. Their 2025 album, METAL FORTH, debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking the first ever Japanese group to enter the Top 10.
Finnish blackened death metal band Progeny of Sun released their second album ‘Prophets of the Void’ on September 5th 2025 via Inverse Records. The album contains 12 tracks that have taken on more aggressive, darker, and more beautiful forms compared to the previous album. The genre binding the album’s tracks together is Death Metal, but true to the band’s style, the album will feature nuanced and surprising cross-genre atmospherics.
In the beginning, Progeny of Sun was a two-man band formed by Jaakko Hautamäki and Niko Aromaa. Jaakko was responsible for the instrumentals, mixing, and mastering, while Niko handled the vocals, lyrics, visuals, etc.
The songs Jaakko introduced were very versatile. Some had speed, some were slow, some painted a picture with their atmosphere, and some were more straightforward bangers. Despite the diversity in style, everything worked exceptionally well in tandem, and from this premise, the band started to develop and pave its own way forward.
To start with, Progeny of Sun created a 6-song self-titled EP and discovered that their music was met with great reception. The duo behind the band did all the mixing, mastering, videos, and artwork themselves. The project as a whole was very fun and rewarding to work on.
After the EP release, Jaakko and Niko began to think that something more was still needed. They still had a burning desire to spread their music around the world, but with just two people, it would have been impossible.
Subsequently, Jaakko found two local musicians from the Seinäjoki area: Joni Kiviniemi (guitar) and Juha Peura (drums). Joni and Juha were initially brought on board just to offer their vision and play their assigned instruments for new material. Soon, however, it began to feel like they were part of the family, and so it was decided that they would become full-fledged members of the squad and a part of the band’s story. Not long after, Tuomo Tolkki (bass) was also welcomed to join, and in a matter of a few months, the full lineup was formed.
The first release with the full lineup, a 3-track EP ‘Dark Wanderer’, was released in 2021. Next in line were the single releases ‘Worthless’ and ‘Anguish’, which were released in 2022. Thanks to the aforementioned experimental phase, Progeny of Sun has gained self-confidence and started to understand its own identity. The band worked hard on the debut album ‘Throne of Desolation’, which was released at the end of 2023. Progeny of Sun’s second album ‘Prophets of the Void’ is released on September 5th 2025. Following their debut album, the band has identified their strengths, which are utilized and showcased even more prominently on the second album.
