Before embarking on their short West Coast run in the US that is wrapping up a busy year JESUS PIECE are releasing the digital GREED/CONJURE LIFE -EP that comes with the tracks “Greed”, “Conjure Life (2024)” and “Tunnel Vision (MSC Remix)”.
From Las Vegas, Nevada, SPIRITWORLD presents new single WESTERN STARS & THE APOCALYPSE.A thrashing, 2-minute blitz of metallic hardcore, drenched in SPIRITWORLD‘s signature Old West occultism, WESTERN STARS & THE APOCALYPSE is the band’s first new music to be revealed since the release of its acclaimed sophomore album, Deathwestern, in 2022.
“I wrote WESTERN STARS & THE APOCALYPSE right after Deathwestern came out, when we got home from touring Europe with Agnostic Front,” states SpiritWorld founder/frontman Stu Folsom. The New York hardcore influence is evident in the blistering song, but Folsom also gives credit to a more unlikely muse: “I was revisiting a lot of Bob Dylan in my bunk on that tour and there is a nod to his song ‘Desolation Row’ in the lyrics.”
Stream WESTERN STARS & THE APOCALYPSE now on all platforms.

On 6 December 2016 our friend and original Witherfall Drummer Adam Sagan, (Circle II Circle, Into Eternity) passed away at 36 after a hard fought battle with Lymphoma. Along with many that knew Adam, Jake and I were beside ourselves with Grief. Vintage was inspired by the Wine bar that nestled itself much to conveniently near the studio at which we wrote. We had a photo shoot scheduled and Adam was set to get on a plane to LA from his home in Minnesota, but having massive pains in his midsection was diverted to a hospital. He missed the plane and soon we received a call from him revealing his cancer diagnosis. That is the reason there are no band photos of the original lineup. Jake and i looking to drown our despair in a few bottles of wine, made our way to “Vintage”. We sat for hours talking about Adam and what may lie ahead. The first lines in the song “A solitary light, not a soul around us” are quite literal. As we sat outside at our table with a single candle adding the atmosphere we watched the people passing by and contemplated the future.
Moving on to 2024, Witherfall as a live band was becoming very formidable. We decided to start taking tour offers and thus embarked on our first headline tour of Europe (after an epic stint supporting Angra). We were so taken aback by the outpouring of love for our music. You were all there singing along to every word. Screaming back every molody. Humming every Riff. We had a blast tearing through over an 75 minutes of music including both new and older songs in our discog. The highlight every night however was “VINTAGE”. This song obviouosly touched the fans as much as it affected ourselves. People were literally crying at the finale of the song. “Travel On My Friend”… We dedicated the song to Adam Every night.
Over the years we have received many fan letters, emails and correspondance detailing how this song helped them with their own loss. So on this 8th anniversary of the passing of Adam, we decided to let some of the fans have their own tribute in the form of a redux video. We hope you all have a blessed holiday and remember life is short.
Get ready for an all-consuming descent into the depths of sorrow and survival. Evig Natt is back with a new single, “Sorrow My World.” The track, accompanied by a stunning video, is the second taste of what’s to come on the band’s upcoming album, Vaketimen.
“Sorrow My World”: The Darkness Within
The track «Sorrow My World» deals with grief and how it can be all-consuming, eating you up from the inside to the point of no return. With no hope of relief, there’s no way out but through.
A Visual Story of Inner Battles
The video for «Sorrow My World» portrays a girl who is consumed by a demon. She’s been marked by its hands and battling its hold over her. She traps the demon by drawing a pentagram of protection around her finally releasing it from her body.
The single “Sorrow My World” also includes the previously released track “Når Lyset Svikte.”
EVIG NATT’s music is aggressive but subtle, noisy yet beautiful, a maelstrom of symphonic darkness that could only be described as Orchestral Gothic Doom Metal. From the unholy metal grounds of Karmøy, west Norway, this band follows in the footsteps of Einherjer and Enslaved, featuring ex-band members of both.
EVIG NATT was started as a studio project in 2003, by vocalist Kirsten Jørgensen and bassist Stein Sund. Soon after that, EVIG NATT recruited drummer Harald Magne Revheim. In 2006 EVIG NATT signed with Omvina Records, and released their highly acclaimed debut album «I Am Silence» in early 2007.
EVIG NATT added Oskar Naley on vocals, Ruben Osnes, and Arne Marton Tangjerd on guitars for the recording of their darker and heavier second offering. After signing with Black Bards in 2009 “Darkland” was released to raving reviews in April 2010. This alliance saw EVIG NATT featured in national magazines worldwide, including Metal Hammer and Scream.
EVIG NATT released their third self-titled album «Evig Natt» on March 19th, 2016 and off the back of that got to tour countries such as Belgium and Japan. EVIG NATT’s sound is unique, blending everything from progressive metal to black metal, and incorporates inspiration from bands like Anathema, My Dying Bride, Swallow The Sun, and The Provenance. This is a band to keep an eye out for!
