A bastion of righteous anger in their home country, TARLD are widely-regarded following the release of the debut Gone For a While and their second LP Sapere Aude. Hailing from Lyon, the band are first and foremost a live band; a frenzied tour-de-force of melodic energy. Influenced by bands such as Refused, Fever 333, Raised Fist and their collaborators in Stray From The Path, TARLD have shared the stage with many big names in the punk scene, touring Europe and Japan and performing at Hellfest, Jera on Air, Resurrection Festival, Groezrock and many more.
Primarily inspired by Enlightenment values, TARLD‘s music advocates liberty, progress, tolerance and fraternity. The band now return with their thumping new record Trapped, which features Drew York, Yukina from Japanese metalcore band Hanabie, and Mat Bastard from acclaimed French rock band Skip the Use.
U.S. rockers FAREWELL TO FEAR returned to the scene armed with two cracking new singles, ‘Brainwashed’ and ‘Falling’, their first new material in over 12 months. FAREWELL TO FEAR are set to reignite the active rock market in 2022 with plenty of live shows and festival dates locked in.
The third single at bat from FAREWELL TO FEAR is rightfully titled ‘Played Again’, a track which takes the angst and experience of feeling used and channels it into a fist pumping anthem. Slashing guitar riffs compounded with Mike Craig’s Pantera-esque vocals punish the listener. Available now on all digital platforms, crank this one and feel empowered!
FAREWELL TO FEAR was born out of the huge black hole that mainstream rock radio left during the absence of super rock stars like Metallica, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. The band revisits an era with big rock riffs, big choruses and huge anthems for a new generation of rockers.
Their first full-length album New Blood, produced by Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day), generated an incredible three singles on Sirius XM’s Octane channel, a rare feat for an unknown band. As well as landing them at #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Rock Singles chart and #8 on iTunes Rock chart, their debut album also earned them direct support from Howard Stern, including the rarest of moments on Stern’s show… airing an entire song as opposed to the normal 20 second snippet he usually shares. That track, a cover of Rihanna’s‘Diamonds’, recently eclipsed 2.5 million streams on Spotify.
Inspired by the overwhelming success of New Blood, FARWELL TO FEAR released the Legacy EP, allowing them to seamlessly merge their skills and styles together to create heavy rock songs that deliver a strong punch to the gut, while staying melodic and delivering impactful lyrics hitting all ranges and octaves.
Shortly following Legacy, the band released their Voices album. Voices was produced by Damien Starkey (Burn Season & Puddle of Mudd) and elevated the bands’ sound to a new level. Expect no stone unturned with this album! The highly anticipated single ‘Underneath my Skin’ landed at #29 on the Billboard Rock Indicator charts. The single sent a powerful sucker-punch with its message of love and obsession. It moves as an emotional gut-wrenching song that will inspire the devil within.
The band wasted no time spreading their new sound with the masses at various rock festivals, touring with artists such as Fozzy, Like A Storm, Palisades and Flaw throughout North America and Canada, including joining Chris Jericho/Fozzy and friends performing on the ‘Rockin and Wrestling Rager at Sea’ cruise.
Staying true to form, FAREWELL TO FEAR immediately went back into the studio amidst the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to release the ever timely single ‘I Won’t Be Your Tragedy’ which quickly shot to #21 on the Billboard Rock Indicator chart and eclipsed over 100K streams on Spotify in 3 months.
FAREWELL TO FEAR is set for an explosive 2022 and has already been invited to perform at the Rebel Rock Festival in Orlando, with Five Finger Death Punch, Limp Bizkit, I Prevail, Sevendust and many more!

Finnish progressive rock/metal band VARJO-ORKESTERI released a new lyric video Sydänmusta. The track is taken from their debut album Prima Volta which was released on April 1st 2022 by Inverse Records.
The Band comments the video and album: “A new lyric video from the Varjo-Orkesteri’s debut album Prima Volta, SYDÄNMUSTA, opens up the bands soundscape in a lighter and more sensitive direction.
“My heart is so black, and in its hiding, the soul will contract.”
Life itself is magical. Such is the debut album Prima Vista by the Varjo-orkesteri. Dark and deep, yet gentle self-reflection about the quality of being when you become you. Or someting else? You’ll find out by placing an apparatus potentiometer to eleven and letting Prima Vista hit a black stamp on your soul, too.”
Varjo-orkesteri is a Finnish-language group flavoured by rock, metal and proge. The band is the “ready-to-go” missile of the hot Karhula scene, which is always ready to kick the nation with freshest and thickest beats. The band sort of formed by accident when the Fog Light boys (Jarmo Pikka, Pasi Hakuli, Saku Hakuli) were planning to put together a new album based on almost complete instrumental demos. Coincidentally, possible vocal contributions (Markku Pihlaja) was discussed. At first as usual, lyrics were to be written in English. But led by something unconscious, the text began to emerge in finnish. This intuition was definitely worth following.
The album’s demos were therefore largely ready when singing melodies and text began to be written in the demos. At the same time, when the songs were demoed, tracks were already recorded for the album. Recording sessions were built according to the spirit of the times “remotely” so that each party recorded their share in their own studios. By late autumn 2021, the recordings were ready. Mixing and mastering were agreed with their final form at the beginning of December. The end result surprised the whole band, the album (Prima Volta) became a really fresh-sounding revelation, not least for the native languge in the text.
The members of the varjo-orkesteri are quite familiar at least to the music people of the home area (South Kymenlaakso). The members have a background from bands such asOmnium Gatherum, Total Devastation, Manitou, Kaihoro, Return To Void, Demonic Death Judge etc.
ROBERT JON & THE WRECK are pleased to announce brand new music with their single Waiting For Your Man – out today on Blues-Rock Titan Joe Bonamassa’s label KTBA Records. The single dovetails the band’s 12-date UK tour which kicks off at Thekla in Bristol on May 9th and runs until May 20th at The Brook in Southampton.
Following on from Robert Jon & The Wreck’s triumphant September 2021 UK tour where the band sold out five concerts in London, Manchester, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Sittingbourne, the boys return for a 12-date UK tour in May 2022.
“We wanted a change of pace and something we can get done quickly,” says the band’s lead singer and guitarist, Robert Jon Burrison about the new single, Waiting For Your Man.
“Alex (Pasco, Foo Fighters, Paul McCartney) was a blast to work. It was rough to get everything done so quickly. Waiting For Your Man was recorded in one day. There is something about knowing what needs to get done that pushes us to play better and not overthink things. Andrew had ideas flying in for arrangements at the last minute. Henry had ideas for the solos. Everyone nailed it in the studio.”
Robert Jon & The Wreck come from a highly influenced rock and roll background. With Waiting For Your Man, they wanted to inject a bit more of a rock and roll feel and energy. The new single is very riff based and is a result of the band jamming together in one room. The new song came about naturally, felt familiar, and gave them a feeling of nostalgia.”
“Waiting for Your Man is the simple song about going through the peaks and valleys of any relationship,” says Robert Jon. “Both sides have their issues with one and other, but they want to give each other a chance. Sometimes it is easy to throw away what could have been something great.”
The 2022 UK tour follows the release of the band’s critically acclaimed new studio album Shine A Light On Me Brother. The album features the singles Shine A Light On Me Brother and Everyday that received airplay on UK rock radio including Planet Rock, BBC Radio 2, The Max, Total Rock, MMH Radio, ERB Radio, and Radio Caroline.
The band features Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, b. vocals), Steve Maggiora (keyboards, b. vocals), Henry James (lead guitar, b. vocals), & Warren Murrel (bass, b. vocals).
