DiggerThings have released their new track with God of Metal Tim “Ripper” Owens, “Time Will Tell”.
It’s the 7th single we get from DiggerThings, which is about a time for healing on past failures and deceits, in the hope to rekindle a broken bond.
“Ripper” tears in with his mighty vocals to this track written by guitarist David Torreggiani, and penned by Nigel “Noogie” Buttigieg, with Robert Galea on bass, and David Depasquale on drums and production.
After protesting against the invasion of Ukraine and 4 out of 6 band members leaving Russia (Aor and Jane – to Turkey, Anna and Paul – to Montenegro), IMPERIAL AGE released “The Way is The Aim” – the first single and music video off the upcoming album “New World”, for which the band’s global fans pledged more than US$ 65,000 during crowdfunding in July-August 2021.
“It has been more than 4 years since we published any new music. Lots of things happened since then to ourselves and the world, but finally, backed by the colossal support of our phenomenal fans, we are ready to start unleashing our “New World” album onto… well, the (New) World!
The first single & music video is called “The Way is the Aim” and it spearheads the main theme of the album: Freedom. Freedom of finding and having your own Path in the World. Freedom of thinking your own thoughts. Freedom from everyone and everything. Freedom to explore and learn. Freedom to lead a peaceful and meaningful life.
We all have a choice: follow your own Path, or follow someone else’s. The first brings positivity and joy, and charges you with energy. The second brings negativity and tiredness, and drains you.
Follow your own Path, find your own Purpose. Listen to your Heart. Filter out the Noise, see through the Fog of Negativity and always remember: You are the Light in the Darkness!
And don’t forget to smell the flowers along the way: because there is always another goal after this one. There is always a bigger fish. But its the Way itself that is the Aim!” – the band wrote on their Facebook.
Just recently, Los Angeles-basedtwo-time Grammy nominated guitarist, Sin Quirin, founded a cosmic new heavy metal band SIGLOS, featuring the transcendent strings of Sin Quirin, former iconic Ministry band member of 15 years, and the demanding vocals of Pedro Sanchez from the band Transtorno. SIGLOS have released their first song and music video for Por Los Siglos, and it is available on all streaming platforms. Por Los Siglos was written by Sin Quirin and Pedro Sanchez.
In reference to SIGLOS, Sin reveals, “It’s been a long time coming and I’m so beyond excited to finally have this new project see the light of day. Our first single and video “Por Los Siglos” turned out just as I had envisioned it. It’s a slightly different sound and direction for me with this project and I couldn’t be happier with it. It had been some time since I had felt this enthusiastic about a new project so I hope you all feel the genuine excitement and emotion in this music. We have more music to unleash and can’t wait to let you all in on it! Thank you all for your continued love and support!”
The song was produced, mixed, and mastered by Alex Crescioni at Stygian Sound. Music video produced by EM Agency & Productions. Sin Quirin is managed by Shawn Barusch, founder of Music Gallery International, an industry leader in artist management, tour booking, and production for artists in rock and metal genres.

Gary Holt
“Sin has been a solid back bone to everything he’s been involved in and it’s great to see him stepping out now to do his own thing. He is a true rockstar in every sense of the word”
David Ellefson
“SIGLOS, Dark, Powerful, Magic!
Listening to SIGLOS brings all this and more weaving through the stories of old and bridging through to the world of today. Hypnotic vocals and entrenching melodies prove SIGLOS to be a Dark Force for the future worldwide.”
Por Los Siglos is representative of a rebirth, akin to a heavy metal big bang. Pedro Sanchez says of the single, “The time is now and our ancestors have been waiting for this. For the ages, Por Los Siglos. For the ages to break ourselves free and in doing so, we are able to free our ancestors and future generations from the chains of our past karmas.”
The dawn of SIGLOS is the result of divine timing and the unyielding will to have a hand in cosmic creation without rules. In the words of Sin Quirin, “The music from SIGLOS comes from the cosmic world, where the stars have aligned and not just by coincidence. My vision and understanding of this project is that it’s a divine timing and we have messages, perceptions, emotions to be shared, to be touched by the masses…The music resonates in me and I am able to express and speak in the language of the soul.” Pedro Sanchez feels the same, calling it “Magic that he and Sin are able to create together as a band and as a tribe”. He comments, “It’s a great pleasure and honor to be picked up and be chosen to do this collaboration. We are both hard workers, creators of reality, and believers of the work we do.”
The raw chords and heavy compositions of SIGLOS are influenced by every sight, sound and emotion ever experienced by Sin.. Experience the relentless fervor of SIGLOS in their first single Por Los Siglos can be found on all streaming platforms. SIGLOS continues to work on new music. Expect to hear more from them soon.

ALCATRAZZ, the mighty Los Angeles-born guitar-driven heavy metal icons, release the performance video for the track ‘Target’ taken from the full-length V, released October 15th 2021 via Silver Lining Music. The video includes live footage from the outfits 2021 UK tour and captures the raw, full-throttle-take-no-prisoners live assault of the band.
Founding member Gary Shea, AKA ‘the man who named Alcatrazz’, comments: “Footage for this clip was filmed live from our recent UK Tour in England. After a long lay-off, it was so cool to be rocking hard with vocal king Doogie White and new boy Larry Paterson killing the drums. We are looking forward to our return to the UK and the upcoming European Tour”
Following the release of the full-length V; ALCATRAZZ, the mighty Los Angeles-born guitar-driven heavy metal icons will take their new record to 16 stages across Europe, kicking off at the Golden Ages Festival in Belgium. And it’s no rest for the wicked with the band set to bring their electrifying shows to the UK in February 2023, co-headlining with the legendary Girlschool.
Released via Silver Lining Music on 15th October 2021, V is produced by Giles Lavery and Jimmy Waldo, and mixed by Andy Haller (Elton John, Joe Cocker and System of a Down).
Both vintage and timeless, V treads the Alcatrazz textured-territories of old but with renewed vigor and verve. Whether it be the choral-echoes sitting inside the storming tempest which is ‘Nightwatch,’ the staunch, speedy melodic metal of ‘Turn Of The Wheel’ or the thick, bluesy chug of ‘House Of Lies,’ there is little doubt that this Alcatrazz is going full-tilt with not one ounce of a shackle holding them back.
“V brings us full circle from our original roots to a modern much heavier version of all things Alcatrazz”, confirms Shea. “I feel great and I am looking forward to our return to the UK and upcoming European Tour as we continue to work on new music, enjoy the video!”
And just in case you’re wondering what V stands for? Alcatrazz’s fifth studio album of course… but it also stands just as resolutely for Victory; the victory that sees Alcatrazz 2021 stronger than ever despite all the odds.

Thrilled to be on the road reconnecting with fans and sharing more music, lead singer DL said, “‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ is a song about self-reflection and asking oneself who would show up to your funeral and what would they say about you. It was a lot of fun to incorporate Spencer Charnas’s vocals into the song. We’ve wanted to collaborate with him, and it came out better than we could’ve ever imagined. It’s got an energetic tempo and the message behind it is to remind the listener that none of us are guaranteed to wake up tomorrow so live each day with integrity, no regrets and to be present and treat today like it might be your last. We’re excited for fans to hear our new takes on this song in this new EP.”
Ice Nine Kills lead vocalist Spencer Charnas, who is featured on one of the tracks, commented on the collaboration, “The history between Ice Nine Kills and Bad Wolves goes way back, so a track together was long overdue. It was a blast to add to an already incredible song with an important message about living for today. I was stoked to hear how the final collaboration came together. Violinist, composer, ethnomusicologist TUOMAS ROUNAKARI has a huge pleasure to announce that his new album “Bear Awakener” finally comes out on April 13th, 2022. Furthermore, Tuomas has revealed the first single ’Third Morning’, tracklisting and stunning album coverart!
Tuomas stated: “The Bear Awakener album has a new release date April 14th, 2022. The Indiegogo pre-orders will be shipped already before this. Sending most of them out during the last week of March. You can now listen to a track entitled ’Third Morning’ on my freshly opened Bandcamp page, https://rounakari.bandcamp.com. I hope you are all well and taking time to celebrate Spring Equinox in whatever way. Embracing and welcoming the light! Feels good that the album is coming out now after the equinox!
Tuomas adds: Despite all the troubling and alarming news in the world, we are now moving towards summer, welcoming migratory birds (swans have just returned our local skies) and facing renewal one more time in this eternal cycle of life and death.
Awakening the Bear is a symbol of succumbing to the greater forces of existence. Awakening a new energy while being more connected to the ancient. And first and foremost – opening to a dialogue with mythical entities and re-creating harmonious and long lasting relationships with our surroundings, including human and non-human beings, seen and unseen worlds.
The songs in this album are formed by Khanty, Mansi, Carelian and Finnish ancestors. They carry a resonance of those before us who were better equipped to collaborate with nature in a sustainable and self-sufficient way. Such songs have always been my best teachers.
This album became more gentle and playful than I imagined but that’s how bears are! I hope that the songs will transcend your lives in magical ways! Just as studying them has transcended mine. With my best wishes! Embracing the light! Tuomas”
“This is music that gods are listening to” said Pekko Käppi after having listened through the freshly finished mastered tracks.
“Bear Awakener” was recorded, mixed and mastered at the Verde Studio with the gear-wizard Mika Rintala. None of his modular synthesizers were used. All of the equipment used in recording was built by Mika – microphones, pre-amps, EQ and even the mixing console and electrostatic monitors.
TUOMAS ROUNAKARI is an internationally acclaimed violinist, composer and ethnomusicologist from Finland. He is a one-man-band blending violin, vocals and stomping with ankle-bells. In his performance he enters various trance-states. In this album he will also be playing a traditional Khanty instrument called Ning-juh.
Tuomas is inspired by different forms of dialogue; man and nature, the seen and the unseen world, ancient and future. His first solo album Shamanviolin was a result of ethnomusicological studies of the earliest 20th century wax-cylinder recordings from Siberia. These studies have also led to many collaborations with indigenous artists. He is one of the few artists who have actually returned their art to native communities for evaluation and development.
Enjoy online concert from Kaustinen Folk Music Festival 2020. Shamanviolin at Pauanne is a full-length online concert produced by the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival 2020. The concert was filmed at the magical Pauanne where a community of folk musicians and folk healers used to live in the 1980’s. All buildings are fully hand made with many mythological decorations. This Shamanviolin concert ends with lament melodies in a burnt down sauna. The magic and unique beauty of this place is still strong. A perfect environment for my music.
