Complex yet groovy, fierce yet sophisticated – Carnivorous, Khroma‘s third single lifted from the upcoming album, takes the unexpecting listener on a journey through chaotic patterns, urban trip hop and scifi-soundscapes – this is truly the soundtrack to 2020s decay as the Helsinki-borne electro-metal band only can convey it.
Formed in 2010, Khroma has released three albums and toured Europe more than 10 times. The band’s fourth self-titled album will be released on October 17th 2025.
After turning heads with the relentless 2024 EP Råtner på rot, Jordsjuk are back with their full-length debut: Naglet til livet (translates to ‘Nailed to life’). Across twelve tracks and 36 minutes, the band delivers a visceral strike of raw, uncompromising metal, free of gloss, gimmicks and nonsense.
“Naglet til livet is a kaleidoscope of destruction, decay, and ugliness”, the band states. “From the thrash-fueled chaos of “Grovt skadeverk” and the suffocating aggression of “Parasitt”, to the punk-driven decay of “Rennestein” and the gloomy introspectiveness of “Svikter den neste”, this is the sound of filth, concrete, ruin, and rage. Twelve tracks of in-your-face, riff-driven and organic metal.”
Darkness from within Jordsjuk consists of Renton (drums), Mannevond (vocals), Sagstad (guitars), and Larsen (bass), seasoned musicians from the Norwegian underground. Their sound sits somewhere between black, death, thrash, punk, and rock, forging a sonic identity as raw as it is deliberate. The lyrics, written in Norwegian, dive into personal collapse, trauma, and apocalyptic despair, delivered with uncompromising honesty.
From the very first track, “Kollaps” (‘Collapse’) it’s clear this is not for the faint-hearted. A death metal-driven opener drenched in dread and doom, the band describes it as “the soundtrack to our downfall”, fast, harsh, and devastating.
“Riv skorpen av såret” (‘Tear the scab off the wound’) plunges into black metal territory, with blast beats and tremolo guitars underpinning lyrics about reliving old wounds and clinging to pain. “Skreddersøm” (‘Tailor made’) is intense and direct, and according to the band “best enjoyed with clenched fists,” while “Rottebitt” (‘Rat bite’) provides a 2-minute fix of bitter, stringent aggression.
Toward the album’s end, “Klarhet og dybde” (‘Clarity and depth’) stands out as one of the most demanding yet cathartic moments, a sonic plunge into icy waters, where clarity is found only after enduring the cold. “Svikter den neste” (‘Betray the next’) slows things down and deepens the darkness, exploring betrayal as a recurring cycle. The album concludes with its title track, Naglet til livet, a complex and unforgiving hybrid of death and black metal, digging into the inescapable burdens we carry through life.
Everything in its right place Drums were recorded at PhatCat Studios (Rygge, Norway), with the rest captured at various locations in Oslo. Mixing was handled by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at God City Studios (Salem, MA), while Brad Boatright took care of mastering at Audiosiege Studio (Portland, OR). The result is exactly what it needs to be: dirty, sharp, and heavy.
“Jordsjuk is necro music for necro times,” says the band, and after hearing Naglet til livet, it’s hard to disagree.
The band has already played this year’s by:Larm festival and Midgardsblot in 2025, and it’s on stage that their sonic violence truly takes over. More shows are coming in 2025 and 2026, and even before its release the album is already receiving outstanding reviews.
Upcoming shows: 03/10 Vaterland, Oslo – release show 24/01 Kulturhuset, Bergen 14/03 Heimfall Metallkraft, Sauda
South African rock duo The Amblers return with High Water, the first single from their upcoming EP Never the Two Shall Part, out 26 September 2025 via Mongrel Records.
Known for their gritty honesty and uncompromising artistry, The Amblers are expanding their sonic palette without losing their raw identity. The new EP sees the band weaving in synth textures and bold production choices, while keeping the emotional weight and signature tones that have earned them a loyal following.
“We’ve branched out a bit,” the band shares. “There’s a lot more synth work and new production techniques, but it all still fits. It’s undeniably The Amblers — just more of what’s always been there, waiting to come out.”
Refusing formulas or easy answers, the duo creates instinctively, resisting industry noise and outside influence to keep their work authentic. Their music reflects the divided state of the world with undertones of defiance and awareness, but without prescribing resolutions.
High Water delivers a haunting, poetic reflection on mistrust and survival, blending evocative imagery with a gripping melody that lingers long after the final note.
Working once again with trusted collaborators Jacques Du Plessis (High Seas Studios) and Benjamin Craig (Craig Amps), the band’s sound continues to evolve while remaining fiercely their own.
The Amblers don’t see themselves as entertainers, but as artists who challenge, reflect, and inspire.
Multi-GRAMMY® Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® InducteesAerosmith (Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton, and Joey Kramer) and British multi-platinum, award-winning rockstar Yungblud have announced today details on their forthcoming collaborative EP titled One More Time.
Out on November 21 via Capitol Records, One More Time marks Aerosmith’s first new music in over 12 years. Produced by Matt Schwartz, One More Time features 4 original tracks co-written by Aerosmith and Yungblud (with both frontmen sharing the vocals), as well as a fiery 2025 mix of the classic “Back In The Saddle.”
The One More Time EP artwork was designed exclusively by Chrome Hearts’ Joe Foti, a first for the luxury brand, and is available now to pre-order digitally as well as limited-edition vinyl.
ONE MORE TIME tracklist: My Only Angel Problems Wild Woman A Thousand Days Back In The Saddle (2025 Mix)
Also revealed today, “My Only Angel,” the first track released by the music legends and one of the most prevalent young voices in rock, available now on all digital platforms and with an accompanying visual. Opening with Tyler’s towering vocals a cappella as he asks, “Will you cry, if I called you my angel? Would you leave me one more time?” the track awash in delay, loose guitar echoes over a steady beat, a rumbling bassline, and strains of soft piano. Yungblud and Tyler lean into the refrain’s hypnotic harmony until a signature Perry fret-burning solo takes hold, underscoring the chemistry between two generations of rock.
“The decision to meet Yungblud and make this music with him…was like plugging into pure electricity!” says Steven Tyler. ‘For Joe and me it was another cosmic collision… to find ourselves in the studio with this outrageously talented and positively wild animal named Dom. Here’s this kid that lives his life out loud…grew up on our records and the British invasion… and now we’re in the studio together creating something that bridges generations. He devoured all the same greats looked up to…and then he started to dream on. It’s as simple as that.” Tyler declares. “When we sang and played together for the first time there was an immediate unspoken vibration throughout the studio… it reminded me of the wheels of the car vibrating my seat as the boys and I drove into Boston 50 years ago for the very first time. It had that same deep intimate pressure of necessity. To make it… make it great… something fresh and new…and make it last forever. That’s the rock n roll way baby! Yungblud wants this next chapter in rock history and asked us to be a part of it. We got on so well… the vibe in the room was epic from the start… we had a blast… and were truly honored to write with him! Rock and roll becomes timeless when you pour your heart and soul into it… that’s when the magic happens.”
Of the collaboration, Joe Perry said, “A year ago, I got a call that Yungblud wanted to come to Sarasota to work with me and write some songs. I had heard his single and said, hell yeah, this guy’s got the juice. Four days in the studio and we got to know each other along with his team. I called Steven and told him, you have to hear this guy Yungblud — he’s the real deal. Fast forward to May and we’re in the studio with Steven recording new music. The end result turned out to be an amazing collaboration between Aerosmith and Yungblud. Let the music do the talking.”
Yungblud shares: “Aerosmith have been such a staple of rock and roll and showmanship for me, so I’ve been ready for this my whole life.As soon as we entered the studio, the chemistry exploded and the songs just poured out of us. It’s the kind of collaboration that young me wouldn’t even dream of so to sit here holding a vinyl in my hand that says Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD on it is truly blowing my mind.Steven and Joe are at the top of their game and working with them is a huge fucking honor.I’m making records with my hero’s, the shows insane every night and rock ‘n’ roll is waking the fuck up whether you like it or not. I’m loving every second.”
Yungblud (real name Dominic Harrison) first met the legendary band when they paired up in the studio with the intention of featuring on a version of the9-minute epic, ‘Hello Heaven, Hello.” Chemistry started to flow, and what began as a guest spot soon turned into a writing session, eventually evolving into a five-track EP. Beyond the lead single, the collection showcases Yungblud’s raw spirit colliding with the band’s legendary musicianship: Perry and Whitford’s guitars cut through with signature fire, Hamilton’s bass anchors the arrangements, and Tyler’s unmistakable voice intertwines with Yungblud’s across every track. Longtime friend Matt Sorum, former drummer of Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver, lends his presence behind the kit across the EP. The announcement of One More Time and release of“My Only Angel” follows Aerosmith and Yungblud’s powerful performance at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month – watch HERE.

One of the best-selling Canadian bands of all time, multi-Platinum rockers FINGER ELEVEN are bringing more new music to their legions of fans with the release of “Last Night On Earth.” Released today (September 19), it’s the title track from their first new studio album in a decade. Pre-orders for the LAST NIGHT ON EARTH album—out November 7 via Better Noise Music, their first with the label—are available now HERE.
While everyone agreed the title track was a special song, it took FINGER ELEVEN—Scott Anderson (vocals), James Black (lead guitar, backing vocals), Rick Jackett (rhythm guitar), Sean Anderson (bass), and Steve Molella (drums)—many years to find the diamond inside of this movingly candid string-laden ballad about how relationships fall apart. Jackett realized that they had no true chorus, but as they were tracking drums for the last four songs on the album, drummer Steve Molella suggested doing an acoustic, campfire- style jam. They nailed it during their final hour of studio time.
“Scott wrote some of my favorite lyrics,” Molella beams. “It was the most natural the song has ever sounded.”
“I think ‘Last Night On Earth’ could be placed squarely in a traditional relationship frame where you forget what you’re even fighting about,” continues Scott Anderson, whose vocals compellingly illuminate the song’s sadness. “But you hate that feeling in the pit of your stomach when something’s not resolved and you don’t know what tomorrow’s gonna look like.”
“Last Night On Earth” is the follow-up to the album’s second single and video which was released August 1, the thunderous “Blue Sky Mystery” featuring Richard Patrick from Filter. It’s currently flying up the Active Rock chart in Canada. Listen to the song HERE and view the video HERE.
Last year, fans got the first taste of LAST NIGHT ON EARTH via the high-octane “Adrenaline” (which reached the Top 20 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart) and a video that’s reached over 176k views on YouTube. The song also reached #2 on the Active Rock chart in Canada, where the song held strong in the Top 5 for over four months.
FINGER ELEVEN is now propelled by a fresh musical vigor. “As we were making LAST NIGHT ON EARTH, there was this feeling that we were making a big Rock record,” Rick Jackett recalls. “We had done that early in our career, and then we veered away from it. But it was time to go back and embrace that bigness of the sound. Even the soft songs sound big.”
Originally from Burlington, Ontario and now based mostly out of Toronto, FINGER ELEVEN have released a series of consecutive hit albums and become among the greatest live bands to ever emerge from the great White North. Their self-titled debut album broke the band into the international mainstream, achieving Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada, and smashing the first single “One Thing,” across the radio and Billboard charts. Their 2007 album, THEM VS. YOU VS. ME, launched the single “Paralyzer,” setting radio records in the U.S., peaking at #1 internationally and going 5x Platinum, the band’s second million-plus seller. They won the Juno Award for Rock Album the following year and set an incredible run at rock radio, with an unbeaten #14 weeks at the top spot. LIFE TURNS ELECTRIC, was nominated for a Juno Award for Best Rock Album of the Year. 2015’s FIVE CROOKED LINES continued to electrify audiences the world over and their 2023 GREATEST HITS includes their biggest smash hit in a decade, “Together Right,” which topped the radio charts for an amazing five-week run at #1.
After rocking a busy festival season this summer, FINGER ELEVEN will hit the U.S. with Alien Ant Farm and Brkn Love for a flurry of concerts leading up to the new album’s release. This will be followed by a national Canadian tour with fellow native sons Headstones and Tea Party joining them. Tickets are available now on the band’s official website.

ABOUT BAD WOLVES
BAD WOLVES arrived with the rarity and the force of a lightning bolt in 2018 with their chart-topping version of The Cranberries’ “Zombie.” This collective of tried-and-true musicians rallied around an unconventional vision for heavy music, grafting rafter-reaching hooks to pit-splitting riffs and mind-bending rhythms with a penchant for unexpected twists and turns. Their full-length debut “DISOBEY” bowed in the Top 25 of the Billboard 200 and delivered a platinum single and a gold single. On its heels, they showed no signs of stopping with “N.A.T.I.O.N.” [2019]. However, “DEAR MONSTERS” kickstarted another season in 2021 as “Lifeline” netted their sixth #1 at Active Rock radio. Reaching a critical high, Billboard hailed the latter as “BAD WOLVES’ most diverse and far-reaching album to date.” Reaching over 2.8 billion total streams, and over 818 million video views, they’ve sold out headline shows on multiple continents and toured with everyone from Papa Roach and Hollywood Undead to Volbeat.
