TEDD DEIREADH was formed in Brodnica (Kuyavia-Pomerania) in 2023 by guitarist Jakub “Sony” Sonakowski and vocalist/bassist Michał “Zbigniew” Bejger. Later the duo was joined by guitarist Szymon Kołodziejski and drummer Piotr “Tyr” Rochon. From the very beginning, the band has been creating its own material and performing live, including as a support act for the Belarusian band ZNICH.
Their style can be described as melodic/viking death metal. In 2024, the band released two singles, announcing the release of their debut and full-length album.
Music for debut album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Michał Bejger at Home Studio. Cover artwork was done by Julia “Lin” Linowska. Album titled “Fight To Death,” will be released digitally and on CD by the Opole-based label Via Nocturna. Pre-order is avilable on official webstore (here).

Melbourne-based gore-infested crusty death metal act Küntsquäd drop the new single “Satans Cock”, the title track from their latest album—now available worldwide via Wormholedeath Records.
True to their no-holds-barred approach, “Satans Cock” is an unfiltered slab of down-tuned ferocity—melding grind-tinged crust with guttural death and searing blackened chaos. This is the new single from their sophomore full-length, a record that both deepens their sonic brutality and sharpens their warped vision.
Following their 2022 self-titled debut, which sold out multiple pressings and carved a cult following across the underground, KÜNTSQUÄD (pronounced Kountskard) double down on everything grotesque, unholy, and deliberately absurd. There are no genre walls here—only a relentless descent into sonic madness.
With the album “Satans Cock”, the band delivers a grotesque yet calculated assault—layering blast-beaten fury, apocalyptic riffs, and sneering satire into a weaponized soundscape for the damned.
KORYPHEUS is a progressive metal/djent band hailing from Kyiv, Ukraine. The band has already got two albums under its belt – EP “Blessed” (2018) and LP “Over the Rainbow” (2020) released via M&O Music (France). The band has gained recognition for its powerful music and has been active in the metal scene with various projects. The band was nominated for the Best Ukrainian Metal Act Award in 2020.
In 2022 band released video to the brand new song title “Icarus” which is foretaste of upcoming album “Gilgamesh“. Korypheus combines multiple heavy metal subgenres with a keen ear for melody and epic song structures. “Icarus is our first single from the album. It is a song twisting ancient myth into a new tale about futility and courage. It was shot in pre-war times but one can eel the grim atmosphere of what was coming. It was a premonition” – comments Andy Gushin.
A couple of days ago, Korypehus unleashed second single titled “Odysseus” with lyric video done by Kenji Tsunami of Tsunami Films. “This songtells the story of stoicism and love in the gruesome times of war and is inspired by my favorite epic The Odyssey” – explains vocalist Andy Gushin.
Music for 3rd studio album “Gilgamesh” was mixed by Dmitri Kim (Khors, Mind Conflict, Ignea) and mastered by Jay Ruston at TRS West Studio (Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Avatar, Corey Taylor, Stone Sour). Cover artwork was done by Viktor Safonkin, a famous surrealist painter. On that album few guests were performed:
Yossi Sassi (Orphaned Land) on bouzouki,
Laura Guldemond (Burning Witches) as vocalist,
Dmitry Kim (ex-Jinjer) on drums.
Upcoming album “Gilgamesh” will be released in cooperation with Amercian label M-Theory Audio (Fractal Universe, Varmia, Sworn Enemy) in digital format, as jewelcase CD and limited coloured vinyl limited to 300 pcs. Pre-order is available here. Release date is set up on September 26, 2025.
This is how leader of the band comments their upcoming album: “This conceptual album tells stories of times bygone and present. Gilgamesh and Icarus, Odysseus and Avatar freed from its karma. The king sleeping under the hill. Holy war as continous as life under the sun. “Avatar” captured the spirit of the live performances by Andy Gushin and intricate neoclassical approach by Oleg Kokotun“.

All eyes are on the explosive alt-metal outfit FROM ASHES TO NEW. They’ve already made their mark as a hugely successful band with a #1-charting album—2023’s BLACKOUT (Better Noise Music)—which landed the #1 spot on several iTunes and Spotify Rock and Metal charts across the globe. Artistically, the Lancaster, PA outfit have made impact with a distinctive amalgam of hard rock, hip-hop, electronic, and alternative music, combined with songs that bracingly capture their generation’s anxieties.
FROM ASHES TO NEW—Danny Case (vocals), Matt Brandyberry (vocals), Lance Dowdle (guitar), Maty Madiro (drums), Jimmy Bennett (guitar)—are now back with the powerful “New Disease,” an unflinching song about the dangers of trend jumping. Released today (July 25) ahead of their Warped Tour appearance on July 27 in Long Beach, CA, the track marks their first new offering since “Live Before I’m Dead (Hours),” one of the six bonus tracks appearing on the June 2024 release of the companion BLACKOUT (DELUXE) album. Listen to “New Disease,” released via Better Noise Music, HERE and watch the video HERE.
“New Disease” intensifies FROM ASHES TO NEW’s sound and vision and is primed to galvanize their growing fanbase. “Every day there’s a new trend,” says the band’s Matt Brandyberry about the song’s theme. “Every day there’s a new wave of people going out of their way to be recognized no matter the cost. We are hypnotized by our vices…we will kill ourselves to be noticed.”
The BLACKOUT album was an important statement for FROM ASHES TO NEW, acting as a prequel to the band’s 2016 debut album DAY ONE. Garnering over 278 million lifetime global total streams including nearly 20 million video streams, the album mirrored the angst and unrest the world felt during the 2020 pandemic, at which time it was written, while delivering a fresh spin on their myriad influences that broke FROM ASHES TO NEW onto the scene. BLACKOUT garnered various critical accolades. Upon its release, MXDWN proclaimed that BLACKOUT is “melodic, emotive and undeniably powerful” (MXDWN, August 2023), while Knotfest raved: “There’s an exciting immediacy to their sound that recalls the music renaissance of the late 90s and early 2000s… It’s that sweet spot of mass appeal where there’s a little something for everyone, be it From Ashes to New’s hip-hop side, their heavier metallic side, or their arena-sized choruses.” (KNOTFEST, January 2023)
FROM ASHES TO NEW are set for three key shows—the above-mentioned Warped Tour, July 27 in Long Beach, CA and November 15 in Orlando, FL, and the Louder Than Life festival September 18 in Louisville, KY—ahead of their much-anticipated headlining “New Disease Tour.” It launches September 20 at Delmar Hall in St. Louis, with support from Magnolia Park, Until I Wake, and Not Enough Space. “This time the album took a little longer than planned, but it’s finally finished. It turned out to be a fairly familiar sounding Shadecrown, but there are also some more unusual elements on the album. This time I wrote all the songs and lyrics. The album turned out to be heavy, melodic and maybe a little faster paced, without forgetting the slower parts.”
Tomi Tikka continues:
“During the album making phase, I focused more on playing lead guitars and writing solos than actually listening to the compositions. Now that the album is completely finished and listening to the whole thing, it opens up to me too. The album holds me in its grip, sometimes tearing my heart open, making me think, and at other times pushing me forward with force. Reminding me that there is still guts. Perkele.”
The Finnish Shadecrown is a versatile melodic death metal band founded in Viitasaari in 2012, whose melancholic melodies and lyrics tell stories about the dark side of life. The band has released three full-length albums so far: Agonia 2016, Riven 2019, Solitarian 2021. The fourth album 0 will be released in 2025.

A new and ferocious voice in Irish death metal has emerged. Abyssery, the solo project of guitarist and composer Brian Doherty, have release their debut full-length album ‘Interminable End’ out now. An oppressive, concept-driven descent into psychological exile and abyssal torment, the album features contributions from James Stewart (ex-Vader, Decapitated) on drums and a guest appearance by Rafał “Rasta” Piotrowski (ex-Decapitated) on vocals.
Today, Abyssery unveils the third single, “Vortex of Oneiric Visions”, accompanied by a visually arresting video created by Miles Skarin at Crystal Spotlight. Inspired directly by the album’s lyrics and artwork, the visualiser plunges viewers into a kaleidoscopic, reality-warping freefall through cosmic terror and shifting dimensions.
“It’s a relentless, mind-altering descent through a swirling, chaotic vortex,” says Doherty. “The ‘tram blast’ sections sound like a freight train and give the sensation of hurtling through a tunnel towards some tyrannous, inescapable abyss. The riffs constantly evolve to express the disorientation and instability of that journey.”
The track features as a pivotal chapter in the album’s overarching narrative, which follows an unnamed pariah banished to an oppressive underworld, a metaphorical and metaphysical prison constructed by an unseen force. Interminable End captures this exile with suffocating intensity, weaving together elements of death-doom, dissonant black metal, and progressive death metal, layered with atmosphere and existential weight.
“This is a record born of obsession,” Doherty adds. “It’s a love letter to death metal as both catharsis and storytelling device. It’s about identity, punishment, and psychological collapse.”
Entirely written and recorded by Doherty, the album is an unflinchingly DIY effort sculpted through collaboration with some of extreme metal’s most respected names. Stewart’s commanding drumming and Piotrowski’s chilling vocal appearance elevate the record’s apocalyptic scope, while the immersive production by Zed delivers modern clarity without sacrificing weight.
Abyssery’s debut single “Sadistic Sentence” dropped in November, followed by “Entropic Enslavement” in December, both earning early praise from underground tastemakers and even a feature on BangerTV, where Blayne Smith spotlighted the project’s potential.
Interminable End’ is available now via all major digital platforms and Bandcamp.
