The mighty WARKINGS return from Valhalla with a battle cry for the end times! Their new studio album, Armageddon, is set for release on July 4, 2025, via Napalm Records. Today, on “WARKINGS Wednesday”, the warriors unveil the album’s title track and first single, “Armageddon”, igniting a power metal storm of fire and steel.

Since their formation in 2018, WARKINGS have cemented their place in the power metal scene. They have conquered festival stages, played alongside legends like Powerwolf, HammerFall, and Subway To Sally, and built a devoted fanbase that has chanted their anthems at Europe’s biggest stages, including Wacken Open Air. The five warriors in WARKINGS have once again taken up their weapons to bring the legends of their past to life with mighty power metal anthems. The band’s fifth album, Armageddon, is a journey through some of history’s most pivotal conquests—moments where warriors stood firm, empires crumbled, and the world was forever changed. From the Viking raid on Lindisfarne in “Armageddon” to the thunderous legacy of “Genghis Khan”, and the tragic fall of the Knights Templar on “Hangman’s Night”, WARKINGS breathe fire into forgotten chapters of the past. The new album features high quality guests – Dominum (“Hangman’s Night”), Orden Ogan (“Genghis Khan”) and Subway to Sally (“Stahl auf Stahl”) lend their weapons to the mighty kings. Adding to the sonic arsenal, Armageddon was produced by Felix Heldt and mixed/mastered by the renowned Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Powerwolf, Amaranthe). The band teamed up with further musicians to write some battle hymns on this album: Eike Freese (Dark Age, Lord of the Lost) lends his power to “Genghis Khan”, Jan S. Mischon (Saltatio Mortis) joins on “Varangoi”, and Ken Kängström (Follow The Cypher, Sabaton) co-wrote “Kingdom Come”.

Swedish sea marauders YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS are ready to set sail with the third single “The Cranker” taken from their sixth full-length ´Til the Sea Shall Give Up Her Dead, out this Friday, April 11, 2025 via Napalm Records. Kicking off the sonic journey, “The Cranker” is a darkly captivating tale, inspired by the Swedish folk song Hårgalåten. “’The Cranker’ is inspired by a traditional Swedish folk song, Hårgalåten, following a common Scandinavian folklore theme where the Devil lures the youth to immoral acts which finally leads to their death. In our narrative, the Devil is a handsome fiddler whose alluring tunes tricks the crew into an endless dance to the bottom of the ocean.”

LIV KRISTINE releases the new single ‘12th February”. The song is taken from her upcoming studio album ‘Amor Vincit Omnia’, which will be released on 25th April on Metalville Records.

The exceptional Norwegian singer presents a song that describes life from both a broken and a beautiful, loving perspective. Liv’s angelic vocals in contrast to dark guitar sounds give ‘12th February’ a very special atmosphere.

Just two years after the release of ‘River of Diamonds’, LIV KRISTINE is back with her seventh solo album ‘Amor Vincit Omnia’ and is as passionate as ever.

The music on ‘Amor Vincit Omnia’ was composed by the sought-after session and live musician Sascha Dannenberger, who was also responsible for the production in his SaDinTheBox Studio and the Twilight Sound Studio in Karlsruhe. The eleven tracks were mastered by Andy Classen at his Stage One Studio.

In their songs, the band skilfully and excitingly combines classic dark rock with elements of doom, rock and pop to create an extraordinary mix of sounds that fully emphasises the mood of each individual track.

LIV KRISTINE has always had a strong connection to her fans and followers. Personally and in her lyrics, she has an open manner that instils instant appreciation and confidence.

Following their critically acclaimed 2020 album “Sicknesses Obsessions”, which delved into the origins of pathology and the story of Vesalius, PUTRID OFFAL now take their visceral storytelling to the brutal world of 18th-century war medicine. “Obliterated Life” explores the grim reality of battlefield surgery through the lens of Dominique-Jean Larrey (1766–1842), a pioneering military surgeon who revolutionised battlefield medicine. Amidst the carnage of war, Larrey worked relentlessly on the frontlines, amputating limbs, extracting bullets, and suturing bowels in an environment drenched in blood and the stench of septic flesh. This harrowing narrative sets the stage for a merciless auditory experience.

Extirpated from the crepitating bowels of the surging death/grind scene of the early nineties, France’s PUTRID OFFAL became a cult act with their first platter of splatter, released in 1991 by Wimp Records (LP) and Adipocere Records (CD). However, the band gradually dissolved in formaldehyde by the middle of the decade.

But that is not dead which sleeps, and the beast came alive again 25 years later, delivering a renewed vision of their art with the release of their proper debut album, “Mature Necropsy”, in 2015. This was followed by countless European tours and appearances at festivals, including their iconic 2017 performance at the world-famous Hellfest, captured live for a bonus DVD accompanying their second full-length, “Sicknesses Obsessions” (2020). Another trail of devastation across Europe soon followed.

PUTRID OFFAL deliver old-school death grind deeply inspired by the early works of Carcass (“Reek of Putrefaction”, “Symphonies of Sickness”, “Necroticism”) and the initial death metal phase of Napalm Death (“Harmony Corruption”, “Utopia Banished”). With these ingredients, the band has crafted a solid and unmistakable foundation for their sound.

With “Obliterated Life”, PUTRID OFFAL add their own distinct touch, shaped by over three decades of studio work and artistic evolution.
