Southern California rock powerhouse Robert Jon & The Wreck return with their brand-new single, “Long Gone,” a fiery, emotionally charged track co-written with the legendary John Oates (Hall & Oates) and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Rival Sons, Brandi Carlile).

Now available on all major streaming platforms, “Long Gone” showcases the band’s ability to fuse raw, bluesy storytelling with the kind of soaring melodies and rock-and-roll grit that have made them a force in the modern rock landscape.

“‘Long Gone’ was a song that came from a co-write with John Oates while on a trip to Nashville,” shares frontman Robert Jon Burrison. “It was an honour to work with such a great artist. Once we brought it into the room with Dave Cobb, the song took on new life with a riveting riff and a solo that punches you in the face. A song about a relationship that can’t seem to mend, this one is sure to be relatable as well as memorable.”

Initially crafted during a writing session at the historic RCA Studio A, the song went through multiple evolutions before producer Dave Cobb reshaped it into something fresh and electrifying.

“Working with Dave was one of the most inspiring things we’ve ever experienced as a band,” adds guitarist Henry James. “His ability to articulate and execute spontaneous ideas was next level. Any previous arrangement of this song we had gone out the window. Dave had a completely fresh take, and after some back-and-forth of rough onomatopoeias, we just went for it. We jammed out what you hear today in just a few takes.”

“Long Gone” is a gripping blend of blues, soul, and high-octane rock, and the latest installment in what has already been a monumental year for Robert Jon & The Wreck, following the high-energy release of “Sittin’ Pretty” and the introspective “Ashes in the Snow.” Each single has revealed a new side of the band’s ever-evolving artistry, setting the stage for their highly anticipated new studio album this summer.

In addition to releasing new music, Robert Jon & The Wreck are gearing up for an action-packed 2025 tour schedule. This month, they will join Joe Bonamassa and a star-studded lineup on the Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea X cruise (March 21-26, 2025), followed by a highly anticipated appearance at the iconic New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (April 24, 2025). The momentum continues with an extensive Spring & Summer European tour, where they will bring their signature blend of southern rock, blues, and high-octane energy to fans across the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Spain.

With a slate of high-profile performances ahead, Robert Jon & The Wreck are primed for another unforgettable year on the road. For full tour dates and ticket information, visit robertjonandthewreck.com/tour.

SACROSANCT Unleash New Studio Album “Kidron” with ‘Doorway of Dreams’ Music Video

Progressive metal powerhouse SACROSANCT has released their brand new studio offering, “Kidron”, that is out now on ROAR! To order the format of your favorite choice, available as CD, Vinyl or Digital formats, visit: https://sacrosanct.rpm.link/kidronpr

To celebrate today’s album release in glorious style, SACROSANCT have just premiered a new music video for the stirring track “Doorway of Dreams”!

“This melancholic and emotional track is very personal for the band and especially our band-leader Randy Meinhard,” SACROSANCT reveal. “It is dedicated to Mario, our former bass player, who sadly passed away far too soon and to all people who also mourn losses. Per’s lyrics touch the soul and the bands new vocalist Max Morton is creating a rollercoaster ride of emotions. A song to cry with, to dream about and find new hope.”

SACROSANCT, established in 1988, are a well respected name in the metal scene, most known for their three classic albums during the early 1990s: “Truth is – what is”, “Recesses for the depraved” and “Tragic intense”. The band’s signature sound gradually progressed from sophisticated thrash metal to a more edgy, melodic and atmospheric aural landscape. The brainchild of founding member and lead guitar player Randy Meinhard (ex-Pestilence) returned in 2018, after a 25-year hiatus, with their fourth album “Necropolis”, which was highly acclaimed and bears all of the hallmarks and intricacies that defines SACROSANCT, with a strong emphasis on melancholic melodies and harmony guitar parts as well as a focus on thought-provoking lyrics. Six years later, SACROSANCT return with the even more powerful, still complex, but catchy “Kidron”, introducing their new singer Max Morton, who outshines the album with his clear, dynamic and unique voice. “The album combines all our trademarks, has a unique atmosphere due to all the circumstances we had to go through and is accessible and complex at the same time”, Randy Meinhard recently said.

The special thing about SACROSANCT is, that every album sounds different. As the four-piece recently revealed: “We always write and play songs in our own way. We can’t and won’t deny our roots. Of course, our first albums were more thrash-heavy, but there was a lot more going on in the songs. You just can’t reduce us to that. I personally love metal from Maiden to Priest to Fates Warning, VoiVod or Slayer. When writing songs, I try to find out how heavy or “commercial” a song can be in our own way. But we always want to touch people with the music and if, for example, a blastbeat can be combined with the classic Sacrosanct riff trademarks, then we have arrived at “KIDRON”.”

Order “Kidron” now on: https://sacrosanct.rpm.link/kidronpr

“Kidron” track listing:

01 – Marching Days
02 – Avenging Angel
03 – Prince Of Clowns
04 – Coming Of The Scorpion

07 – Still Open Sore
08 – Before It Ends

EXILIUM NOCTIS have returned more mature in 2025 with their second album, Pactum Diaboli, a dark and imposing work that explores themes such as religious conflict, the human soul, and the Faustian pact with Mephistopheles. The album delves into the concept of making deals with the devil, with the title Pactum Diaboli symbolizing the eternal struggle between temptation and the soul’s redemption. This album marked a progression in the band’s sound, incorporating more technical riffs and complex compositions. The title track, “Pactum Diaboli,” featured guest vocals by Henri Sattler of God Dethroned, adding significant depth to the song.

Swedish Melodic Heavy Rockers MOTHER MISERY drop New Single ‘The Predator‘.

The band informs about the new single “The Predator“:
“‘The Predator’ was recorded in the same session as our last album ‘From Shadow To Ghost’. We felt the track had a different vibe to the rest of the songs and decided to keep it for a special release. When we invited David ‘DaKe’ Isberg, known for Blood Of Jupiter and as a founding member of Opeth, to add some of his deep growl to the song, it felt complete and even more special. The song has a driving riff, a mellow verse and a melodic chorus, along with a nice breakdown in the middle.”

LEAVES’ EYES Sign to RPM & Embark on “Myths Of Fate” European Tour

Coincidentally with their ongoing “Myths Of Fate” European tour, symphonic Viking horde LEAVES’ EYES are pleased to announce that their ship has landed at the shores of Reigning Phoenix Music. Making a pact with the subversive metal label, the leading German metallers have found a welcoming new home for their future musical endeavours.

LEAVES’ EYES founder/vocalist Alex Krull states: “We’re really happy to share such fantastic news: LEAVES’ EYES have signed a long-term record deal with Reigning Phoenix Music! Being united with many companions and friends makes working with RPM very special to me! We’re looking forward to entering the next level with Sven, Jochen, Gerardo and the whole RPM family – we couldn’t be more excited! The Southern German metal empire strikes back!”

“I’m enormously pleased to welcome Viking metal pioneers LEAVES’ EYES at RPM. The musical roots of Alex and me go back to Ludwigsburg’s Rockfabrik, a place where many bands and rock/metal projects kick-started their careers. Collaborating with friends is always special, and that’s definitely the case here,” comments label owner Sven Bogner.

RPM managing director Jochen Richert adds: “I’ve known Alex for almost 40 years since we’ve already been meeting regularly at local youth centres back in the day. Our work relationship also lasts for about 35 years now. That’s why I’m very happy that LEAVES’ EYES and Reigning Phoenix Music are walking a common path now. It’s a classic example of ‘What belongs together, comes together’!”

After their foundation in 2003, LEAVES’ EYES took the scene by storm: the group undeniably hit a nerve of the metal world with their refreshing mixture of symphonic metal and historic Norse elements. Over the course of nine studio albums, the band extended their ever-growing fan base, performed on five continents, played many own headline tours and entered the stages of some of the most prestigious metal festivals around the globe.

But there’s more: To bridge the gaps between their studio albums, LEAVES’ EYES mostly continue writing material and thereby released multiple EP’s with some of them showing rare musical sides, for example acoustic recordings, of the sextet. And the current time is now exception: following their current success album “Myths Of Fate,” which hit no. 17 of the official German well as no. 66 of the official Swiss album chart among others, they’re preparing a brand new EP, which is set for release later this year via Reigning Phoenix Music. What it contains shall remain a secret for now, but you can be sure that LEAVES’ EYES next output will be nothing but another exciting addition to their musical journey through the Nordic saga world. Pre-save it here: https://leaveseyes.rpm.link/ep2025PR

As mentioned, the group have kicked off their 2025 European tour in Aalborg, Denmark last night to gather symphonic and viking fanatics once again. Also performing under the “Myths Of Fate” banner are promising support acts: NYTT LAND (Mar 6-21), ATER (Mar 6-21), PROJECT RENEGADE (Mar 6-13), VERDERBNIS (Mar 6-13) and HALLS OF OBLIVION (Mar 14-21). The second part of the run (Stuttgart, DE + 6 Iberian dates) will see local bands taking the stage to warm-up the crowds for LEAVES’ EYES.
