German heavy rock outfit MIDNIGHT RIDER unveil their second single and lyric video “Twice The Pride – Double The Fall”, taken from the upcoming studio album “Limited Infinity”, set for release on June 5th, 2026 (NEW RELEASE DATE!) via Massacre Records.

Following the previously released first single “The Renegade”, MIDNIGHT RIDER now reveal another powerful facet of the upcoming album with a track that combines classic heavy rock authority with a darker and more socially critical lyrical direction.

With “Twice The Pride – Double The Fall”, the band deliver one of the album’s heaviest and most commanding compositions. Strongly influenced by the spirit of Black Sabbath, the track is built around crushing riffs, deliberate groove and a timeless sense of weight, while maintaining MIDNIGHT RIDER’s unmistakable melodic instinct.

Lyrically, the song confronts modern societal delusion and the dangerous ease with which public opinion can be manipulated through superficial online content. It reflects on how ignorance, misinformation and blind conformity can quietly pave the road toward authoritarianism.

Serving as another glimpse into “Limited Infinity”, the track highlights the album’s balance between classic heavy rock entertainment and thought-provoking substance.

On “Limited Infinity”, MIDNIGHT RIDER continue their dedication to the late ‘70s heavy rock tradition, blending influences such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and other iconic acts of the era with their own distinct identity.

The album also marks an exciting new chapter for the band, featuring Chris Black (High Spirits) on vocals, whose distinctive voice and layered choir arrangements add a fresh dimension to MIDNIGHT RIDER’s sound, alongside Hendrik (drums) and Nik (bass).

Produced and mixed by Christian Benner and Ralf Grett, and mastered by Patrick Engel at Temple of Disharmony Studio, “Limited Infinity” combines authentic retro spirit with a strong and modern production approach.

With “Twice The Pride – Double The Fall”, MIDNIGHT RIDER prove once again that classic heavy rock can still sound relevant, sharp and full of fire.

MIDNIGHT RIDER are:
Chris Black – vocals
Blumi – guitars
Hendrik – drums
Nik – bass

Metallic Hardcore Quartet R.A.I.D Release New Album “Retribution” with Title-Track Video

Indian metallic hardcore quartet R.A.I.D have unveiled their new album Retribution alongside the title-track video.

On ‘Retribution’, vocalist Rueban Issac comments: “‘Retribution’ confronts the reality of surviving childhood and domestic abuse, capturing the weight of anger, confusion, and pain that often follows. Rather than letting that hatred dictate a lifetime of damage, the single reframes retribution as self-liberation — the refusal to let trauma continue the punishment long after the abuse has ended. The song is both a reckoning and a release, offering a path forward through accountability, resilience, and growth. ‘Retribution’ stands as a motivational statement: healing is a choice, and breaking the cycle is the real victory.”

The ‘Retribution’ video follows the release of R.A.I.D‘s March single, ‘Killer Instinct’: https://youtu.be/_7jfjmDy7go

On the band’s new album Retribution, Isaac states: “Retribution is R.A.I.D’s most personal and unflinching release to date. Rooted in the lived realities of childhood and domestic abuse, the album confronts trauma head-on—not to relive it, but to dismantle it. Each track explores the long shadow that abuse can cast over a life, and the hard, deliberate work of breaking free from it. This is not an album about revenge; it’s about reclaiming power, identity, and agency.

“Rather than “waterfalling” pain onto future generations,
Retribution is about choosing a different path. The record reflects the moment when survival turns into understanding and understanding turns into growth. Anger is present, but it is sharpened into clarity instead of destruction.

“
Retribution isn’t about revenge—it’s about taking your life back.”

Retribution tracklisting:

1. Killer Instinct
2. Thirst Trap
3. Retribution
4. Predatory
5. Regenerate
6. Victim
7. Lamb to Lion
8. Black Rain
9. Forever Strong

Hyderabad, India’s old school hardcore/crossover thrash metal powerhouse R.A.I.D (Rueban And the Imperium Division) were founded in June 2016 by vocalist Rueban Issac.

Rooted deeply in hardcore tradition, R.A.I.D draws influence from genre-defining acts such as Madball, Suicidal Tendencies, Agnostic Front, Hatebreed and newer bands like Kublai Khan, Knocked Loose, thrown and Dealer. Their sound fuses the raw aggression of hardcore with the precision and momentum of modern metal. Lyrically, the band upholds the core hardcore ethos of PMA (Positive Mental Attitude)—delivering messages of resilience, self-belief, and resistance against adversity, while pushing beyond clichés that often plague the genre.

R.A.I.D have released three albums to date: The Strong Survive (2018), Imperium (2019) and Defiance (2022). Over the years, their music has earned them positive reviews, and has seen them feature in Metal Hammer, Rolling Stone, Decibel, Metal Addicts, True Metal, Heavy Magazine, Metal.de, Unite Asia and The Metal Wanderlust, to name but a few.

Today they release their powerful fourth album, Retribution – a release that promises to further cement their reputation for uncompromising sound, authenticity, and purpose.

R.A.I.D are:

Rueban Issac – vocals
Raven VII – guitars
Amit Cornelius – bass

Winter Storm is an ice-cold reminder that they still have the power.” Added Metal Injection, “Every once in a while I say something about a record’s cover art telling you what you’re in for. What do you think a record adorned with a sword-wielding, wolf-riding warrior sounds like? ENSIFERUM’s ninth record sounds like that. Equal parts epic and heavy.”

ENSIFERUM‘s Winter Storm was produced by Janne Joutsenniemi, mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren, and includes guest appearances by Lassi Logrén on Nyckelharpa and violin and Mikko Mustonen on orchestration as well as Eleine’s Madeleine Liljestam who provides all vocals on “Scars In My Heart.”

DANIELE RINI released his new album “This Doll Has No Eyes” on April 22nd, via Wanikiya Record.

It’s not just an album being released.
Today, an experience comes to life.

“This Doll Has No Eyes” is the brand-new, powerful concept album by Daniele Rini (singer of Maysnow):
22 minutes of pure intensity, divided into 7 chapters that merge into a single, gripping sonic narrative.
A dark, visceral journey with no way out.

Blending dark atmospheres, melancholic rock, and a constant cinematic tension, Rini drags the listener into the horror of war…
but does so in the most human way possible: through the eyes of a broken family.
Pain, fear, loss.
Everything transforms into art.

Top-tier production.
The album was created alongside Andrea Pascali at AD Studio, who built a massive sonic structure, crafting synth orchestral arrangements that amplify every emotion to its limit.

Special guests
Adding even more depth to the experience:
Luca Basile – cello
Antonio De Rubertis – piano

This is not just an album.
It’s a story that cuts deep.
It’s a film without images.
It’s a punch to the gut that leaves a mark.
If you’re looking for easy listening, move on.
If you want to truly feel something… press play.

Under the cursed smokestacks of the North Jutland Heath, SPEEDSLUT emerges. Wielding the unbridled fury of the early metal scene, their sonic onslaught is a call to violence.

Their shows are described as intense and continuous, a set built around the doctrine of total sonic supremacy, a loud and direct show of force.

SPEEDSLUT will release their debut digital single “Dark Night Riders“ on May 20th, and can be pre-saved HERE.
