UNZUCHT Release New Single ‘Krieger (Photon Decay Remix)’

German dark rock band UNZUCHT releases their new single ‘Krieger (Photon Decay Remix)’.

Next up are the wild remixes of Unzucht tracks from their latest chart-topping album “Neon Dom”: this time, “Krieger” gets a hard trance makeover – both danceable and dramatic – from Stephan Büttner, aka Photon Decay, from Hameln in Lower Saxony. Check out the new breakdown with backing vocals!

With their new studio album ‘Neon Dom’, UNZUCHT herald a new era of musical darkness – without giving up the search for redeeming light.

The work combines brutal intensity with deep black emotionality, creating a soundscape that challenges, overwhelms and fascinates at the same time.

The songs lead like a controlled fall into a world permeated by shadows: carried by powerful guitars, uncompromising rhythms and the new voice of frontman Timm, who transforms pain, anger and unshakeable strength into pure energy.

‘Neon Dom’ is more than an album – it is a liberating blow. ‘Darkness is followed by light and I burn all bridges,’ says Feuerregen. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, UNZUCHT rises anew: a musical monolith that only reveals its true power when you are ready to face your own demons.

Thematically, the album explores the boundaries of human existence: inner conflicts, a battlefield of fears and the disintegration of supposed certainties – and yet the tireless search for hope in a world that is increasingly slipping away.

Neon Dom breathes darkness in all its forms — no turning back. Or: Here begins the journey into the heart of darkness — no turning back.

Created from the shards of human fragility, reforged in the fire of an unyielding will.

THE DEVIL WEARS NADA Release New Album “In Lust We Thrust” with Video for ‘Last Forever’

Swedish melodic rock force THE DEVIL WEARS NADA have released their highly anticipated sophomore album, ‘In Lust We Thrust’, out now on CD and limited-edition coloured vinyl via Eönian Records.

Scandinavia has long been a breeding ground for world-class melodic rock and AOR, and from Falköping, Sweden, THE DEVIL WEARS NADA emerges as a formidable new torchbearer of that tradition. Rooted in the golden era of melodic hard rock, from the mid-1980s through the early 1990s, the band fuses nostalgic grandeur with a dramatic, contemporary edge. Drawing theatrical inspiration from icons such as Alice Cooper, Ghost, and Lordi, they seamlessly merge arena-ready Scandinavian melodies with horror aesthetics and vintage hard rock energy.

Their debut album, “Postalgia”, on Eönian Records, earned global acclaim for its signature blend of cinematic flair, soaring vocal lines, and hook-laden choruses. Initially released under the name ‘Adecence’ in an ultra-limited pressing of just 100 CDs, the album quickly became a coveted collector’s item. Reintroduced and remastered under THE DEVIL WEARS NADA, the album featured two new studio recordings, a high-octane cover of “1989” by fellow Swedish rockers Nestor, and expanded deluxe packaging; the release became one of Eönian Records’ best-selling titles.

Check out their video for ‘Last Forever’ here:

With new album ‘In Lust We Thrust’, THE DEVIL WEARS NADA hope to shatter expectations and raise their creative bar to towering new heights. Fans of Nestor, Da Vinci, 220 Volt, and FM will recognize the soaring hooks, polished harmonies, and arena-sized ambition that define classic Scandinavian melodic rock. Yet this is far more than a nostalgic revival, it’s a bold reawakening.

Brimming with explosive choruses, cinematic atmosphere, and razor-sharp modern production, ‘In Lust We Thrust’ plans to deliver a revitalized, high-impact vision of the genre, poised to captivate longtime ’80s hard rock and glam metal loyalists and ignite a new generation of melodic rock devotees alike.

Guitarist Henrik Westergren describes the band’s sound, “Take the raw pulse of the ’70s, ’80s hard rock and glam metal, and mix it with our fascination for the macabre and the dramatic, that’s where THE DEVIL WEARS NADA lives.”
“It’s Ludvig’s songwriting sensibility mixed with our collective love for the bizarre and dramatic,” Westergren adds. “It creates something that’s both familiar and unsettling; in the best way possible.“
He concludes: “If you’re reading this, thank you, for taking the time to listen, and hopefully for supporting this album built from blood, sweat, and countless hours of passion. Let’s keep the spirit of melodic rock alive and loud. THE DEVIL WEARS NADA is just getting started.”

The Devil Wears Nada is:
Ludvig Alfvén on Drums, Keyboards, & Backing Vocals
Linus Johansson on Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals
Henrik Westergren on Lead Guitars, Keyboards, & Backing Vocals
Fredrik Svensson Carlström on Bass

CITOVITZ AND THE FIREFLIES OF FEBRUARY Release First Single & Lyric Video ‘By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human’ from Upcoming Album “Acoustism”

Posted by tarjavirmakari on July 14, 2026

In the middle of summer 2026 — while the world outside grew louder and hotter and less certain of itself — Andrzej Citowicz sat down in his home studio in Cairo and finished a song that had been pressing against the inside of his chest for a very long time.

The result is By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human — the first official single from Acoustism, the forthcoming album from Citovitz and The Fireflies of February, scheduled for release in autumn 2026. The single is available now on all major streaming platforms and the official lyric video is available on YouTube.

It is one of the most direct, most unflinching, and most necessary pieces of music Andrzej has ever released.

THE WORLD THAT MADE THIS SONG

There are songs that arrive from craft. And there are songs that arrive from necessity — from the specific pressure of living through a moment in history that demands a response. By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human is the second kind entirely.

The lyric does not soften its diagnosis. It looks at what modern civilisation has done to itself — the trading of truth for comfort, love for pride, humanity for the kind of progress that turns out to be organised sinking — and it refuses to look away. Every generation reaches farther, the second verse observes, finding less within its reach. It is the most concise summary of the modern condition Andrzej has ever compressed into a single line.

“The mirror never lied to us — we simply learned to celebrate.”
— from By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human

But the song is not nihilism. It is grief — which is an entirely different thing. Grief implies that something worth mourning was lost. That the person doing the grieving once knew what it felt like to be more than what they have become. The chorus does not condemn so much as mourn. And the outro — perhaps the most quietly devastating lines Andrzej has ever written — does not end in accusation but in hope worn thin:

“If tomorrow still remembers us — let it remember we tried.”
— from By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human

That line, Andrzej says, arrived last. And when it did, he knew the song was complete.

“I did not write this song to point fingers. I wrote it because I looked around at the summer of 2026 — at everything the world was carrying, at everything my own life had been through in the past year — and I needed to say something true. Something that did not flinch. This is that song.”
— Andrzej Citowicz

THE SOUND: WHERE ALTER BRIDGE MEETS UNPLUGGED BON JOVI

Musically, By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human exists in a space that Andrzej has been approaching his entire career but has never quite occupied so completely until now. The acoustic version carries the intimacy and emotional weight of the great unplugged rock tradition — Bon Jovi’s MTV Unplugged performances, the raw confessional energy of a guitar placed directly against a lyric with nowhere to hide. Clean, wide open, and devastating in its simplicity.

“The acoustic version asks you to sit with the words .Some people need the quiet to hear clearly…”
— Andrzej Citowicz

ACOUSTISM: THE ALBUM THAT IS COMING

By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human is the first window into Acoustism — the most ambitious and most personal album Andrzej Citowicz has ever announced. Due for release in autumn 2026, the album is built around the intersection of Andrzej’s acoustic guitar work and his identity as a person on the autism spectrum — his ICD-11 diagnostic code, 6A02, has already given its name to one of the album’s tracks — alongside songs that document the extraordinary personal journey of the past twelve months.

A life-changing year. The loss of a beloved friend and mentor — H — whose memory lives inside the For The Hawk album released earlier in 2026. The discovery of an adult daughter, Esther, whose arrival Andrzej describes simply as a miracle beyond imagination. The grief. The gratitude. The bittersweet, overwhelming experience of finding that life, in its fifties, still has the capacity to rearrange everything you thought you understood about yourself.

All of that is inside Acoustism. By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human is its opening declaration — the song that sets the emotional and philosophical stakes for everything that follows.

“This album is unlike anything I have made before. Not because I planned it that way. Because life made it that way. I am a different person than I was twelve months ago. The music had no choice but to reflect that.”
— Andrzej Citowicz

ANDRZEJ CITOWICZ: THE LIVING ROOM ROCKSTAR

Born in Wałbrzych, Poland, and now based in Cairo, Egypt, guitarist ad songwriter, Andrzej Citowicz has spent his career building one of the most quietly determined independent music projects in contemporary rock. Recording under the name Citovitz and The Fireflies of February, he operates entirely without label support — writing, performing, producing, mixing, and mastering from his home studio, with Suno AI serving as his virtual band alongside his own guitar work and the lyrical contributions of his wife, Shereen Shoukry Citowicz.

His musical DNA runs deep in the classic rock and power ballad tradition — Bon Jovi’s New Jersey and Blaze of Glory eras, Def Leppard’s Hysteria and Adrenalize, Desmond Child’s songwriting architecture, the neo-classical guitar vocabulary of Joe Satriani’s The Extremist. These are not influences he has moved on from. They are the foundation everything else is built on — and By The Time You Die, You’re Barely Human demonstrates exactly what that foundation looks like when it is carrying the full weight of a life examined honestly.

2026 has been Andrzej’s most prolific and most personal year to date. Beautiful Damage: 1990–1996 — released April 13th — completed songs written between the ages of 14 and 20, discovered on old tape cassettes. For The Hawk — released May 4th, Star Wars Day — honoured the memory of a beloved friend and mentor. And now Acoustism arrives in autumn, carrying everything the year has taught him about loss, identity, love, and what it means to still be here.

“The guitar is always first. It has always been first. Modern technology helps me build what I hear around it. But what I hear — I have been hearing since the early 1990s. That has never changed. And it never will.”
— Andrzej Citowicz

GOATEST: Finland’s Goatburner & Brazil’s Test Join Forces for Self-Titled Debut Album

Finnish grindcore duo GOATBURNER have joined forces with Brazilian experimental grindcore outfit TEST to create GOATEST, a new collaborative project set to release its self-titled debut album through Time To Kill Records on September 23rd 2026.

The first single “Unseen Powers” is available now: Streaming: https://ffm.to/goatest-unseen-powers

Bringing together musicians deeply rooted in the international extreme music underground, GOATEST features Keijo “Kaos” Niinimaa, also known as the vocalist of Finnish grindcore veterans ROTTEN SOUND, and Jaakko “Spider” Forsman of RATFACE, alongside Thiago “Barata” and João Kombi of Brazilian grindcore unit TEST.

The collaboration mixes different backgrounds and approaches to extreme music in a concentrated burst of grindcore and sludge intensity, raw energy and uncompromising attitude, connecting the Finnish and Brazilian underground scenes through a shared instinct for restlessness, aggression and sonic extremity.

“GoaTesT” features fourteen tracks that span different shades of extreme metal, bringing together the distinct identities and musical backgrounds of its members. While much of the material is short, direct and fiercely executed, capturing the spontaneous energy of the collaboration, the album also ventures into more expansive and experimental territory. Slower-paced passages, unconventional textures and moments of controlled tension create a compelling ebb and flow, adding depth and unpredictability without ever diluting the record’s raw grindcore intensity.

Following the release, GOATEST will hit the road across Europe as part of the “Campaign For Musical Destruction Tour 2026”, joining grindcore legends Napalm Death alongside Master, Brat and Delinquentes for an extensive run of dates throughout November and December.

Belfast’s TRIGGERTONE Announce Defiant New EP “Bombs Away”, Anti-War Title Track & Music Video Out Now

Belfast alt-heavy rock trio Triggertone have announced their new 4-track EP, “Bombs Away,” set for release on 2nd October 2026.

The band have also released the anti-war title track, “Bombs Away,” alongside its official music video, offering the first full statement from their newly solidified three-piece lineup and capturing their raw, live-tested energy with renewed focus and intent.

Recorded at Manor Park Studio with renowned producer Neal Calderwood, whose credits include The Answer, Fighting With Fire, Mojo Fury, LaFaro and General Fiasco, Bombs Away documents a band turning heavy riffs, melodic hooks and real-world frustration into a concentrated, defiant body of work.

For an outfit that has steadily earned respect across the competitive Irish alternative circuit, including national radio play and a semi-final place in Bloodstock’s Metal 2 the Masses, the new EP feels less like a standard release and more like a clear validation of Triggertone’s purpose.

Conceptually, “Bombs Away” is an honest exercise in collective identity, mapping personal psychological struggles alongside the intense frustrations of a changing global environment. Across four tracks, the EP moves through anti-authoritarian pressure, narrative suspense, depression, self-worth and anti-war defiance.

At their core, Triggertone remain dedicated to the true essence of garage rock music: melody, lyrics and the raw humanity of a band playing together in a room. In a landscape of rigid sub-genres and the rise of AI, the trio offer something direct and human: an immediate rock sound built to bring human beings together.

As they push forward with fresh momentum into 2026 and beyond, Triggertone prove that whatever troubles surround you, there is still a sanctuary of sound to be found within the maelstrom.

‘Bombs Away’ is released 2nd October 2026.

EP tracklist:

1 – Pray
2 – Room 1046
3 – The Fade
4 – Bombs Away

Triggertone live:

29 Aug LIMAVADY – Rock the Country (The Blazing’ Saddle Saloon)
25 Sept BELFAST – Metalland: Echoes of Steel Fest (Oh Yeah Music Centre)

Triggertone is:

Ben Graves – Lead vocals and Guitar
Ruaidhri Houston – Bass guitar and Backing vocals/screams
Brendan Scullion – Drums and Backing vocals
