Swedish hard rock force Thundermother have embarked on an extensive European tour, and they are also celebrating the release of their critically acclaimed, new studio album Dirty & Divine! Two years on from the release of their success album Black & Gold, with Dirty & Divine the band doubles down on all expectations, lauded by the international press and media as well as several commercial radio stations (“Album of the Week” on Radio BOB or Star FM in Germany to name just a few). The band’s sixth studio album is out now as CD, Vinyl and Digital formats via AFM Records; to purchase your copy visit: https://thundermother.bfan.link/dirty-divine

Thundermother have always been committed to the electrifying euphoria of real, organic rock ‘n’ roll. Over the course of 15 years, they have firmly established themselves as one of the most vivacious and vital hard rock bands around, with a never-say-die spirit and collective charisma that underpin everything they do.

Dirty & Divine is the perfect, pugnacious showcase for a new, improved Thundermother. Every one of the album’s ten, sweat-soaked gems turns out to become an instant anthem. Meanwhile, the decision to record the new material live in the studio has reaped its own rewards. Dirty & Divine is the sound of a kickass rock ‘n’ roll band doing it for real, and loving every raucous second!

A blistering onslaught of loud, proud and groovy hard rock, Dirty & Divine marks the start of a new era for Thundermother and the recorded debut of two new members: frontwoman Linnea Vikström Egg and drummer Joan Massing. Dirty & Divine also welcomes back bassist Majsan Lindberg to the fold. Bigger, bolder and more dynamic than ever before, the Swedes return as an upgraded and remotivated force! These women are rock ‘n’ roll diehards, and Dirty & Divine takes that ethos through to its logical conclusion. The new Thundermother album crackles and fizzles with gritty authenticity and unstoppable passion.

Not just a triumphant return but a complete rock ‘n’ roll reset, Dirty & Divine is the exhilarating masterpiece that Thundermother have long threatened to make. It is an adrenalin-soaked salute to the magic of big riffs and razor-sharp melodies, performed by an electrifying, four-woman force with joy in their hearts and world domination still firmly on the agenda. In support of Dirty & Divine, Thundermother will be kicking off their European album release tour today (find all upcoming shows listed below!). Ready to rock? You fucking bet!

DI‘AUL Release Official Video for ‘Duende’, New Album Out Now

Italian doom / sludge masters DI’AUL have released their new album “EvAAvE” via Minotauro Records.

Buy the album here https://minotaurorecords.com/products/DiAul-EvAAvE-p723687601 or listen
to it on the main digital platforms.

To celebrate their fifth record the band unveils the official video for “Duende,” created by Michele Canevari and featuring Sharon Ferrante.

“Taking its name from a book written by Federico García Lorca, the song is an emotional journey rooted in memory while searching for meaning amid the shadows of the past. The track unfolds through heavy riffs and evocative atmospheres, with a latent tension which builds up until it explodes into a melancholic finale. The lyrics are an inner dialogue—a plea suspended between nostalgia and hope, between the desire to return home and the awareness that nothing will ever be the same again” explains band.

Some albums go unnoticed, and then there are those that leave a deep mark, like an engraving on vinyl. EvAAvE, the new album by Di’Aul, belongs to the latter category. A sonic ritual, a journey through the dust and bones of doom, infused with sludge, catharsis, and a visceral urgency that explodes with the power of an electric storm.

There is a sense of vertigo throughout EvAAvE, like an uncertain step on the border between ruin and rebirth, between the weight of the past and the fury of the present.

Di’Aul sculpt sound with hands dirty with earth and ashes, making doom a living language, writhing between poetry and damnation.

EvAAvE stands out for its rich and layered lyricism, rooted in symbolism, existentialism, and the darkness of the human condition. The lyrics shift between dreamlike imagery and visceral reflections, alternating introspection and social critique.

Nature plays a fundamental role, with evocative descriptions and symbols (as in Geosmina and Petricore) that allude to a deep and spiritual connection with the natural world.

The influences of poets like Sylvia Plath and Amelia Rosselli can be felt in the intimate and painful imagery, often associated with contrasting emotions such as loneliness and hope (Duende, Mad Dalena).
Biblical and mythological references (Succubi et Incubi, EvAAvE) add complexity, exploring themes of guilt, redemption, and duality.

The lyrics use a language that shifts between rawness and lyricism. Short, fragmented sentences intertwine with sensory-rich images (“Breathing with the other’s lungs”, “Sweat and blood in the air, no despair to bear”), creating a visceral and immersive atmosphere.

Many lyrics play on opposites (life/death, light/darkness, guilt/innocence), reflecting both internal and universal conflict. This is particularly evident in tracks like Tar Wings and EvAAvE.

Recorded live at Vacuum Studio in Bologna under the guidance of Enrico Baraldi, and later mastered by Esben Willems (Monolord, SLOWER) at Berserk Studio in Gothenburg, EvAAvE is a living, pulsating body, made of organic sounds and raw energy, without compromise. Every riff is a boulder, every word a scar on the skin, every track a chapter of a dark liturgy that feeds on sacredness and primal instinct.

Track listing “EvAAvE”:

  1. Duende
  2. Tar Wings
  3. Mad Dalena
  4. Petricore
  5. Succubi et Incubi
  6. F.O.M.O.
  7. Geosmina
  8. EvAAvE

With a well-established musical journey and numerous live performances across Italy and Europe, sharing the stage with bands such as Crowbar, Messa, Goblin, Jex Toth, The Ossuary, Geoff Tate, Nibiru, and Ahab, Di’Aul confirm themselves as one of the most intense and recognizable acts in the heavy underground scene.

MoMo – Vocals
Lele – Guitars
Rex – Drums
Jeremy – Bass

Highly praised by specified press around the globe, Swedish masters DAYS OF JUPITER’s much-awaited fifth album “The World Was Never Enough” has been released through RPM today. Fans can order/stream the album now, here: https://daysofjupiter.rpm.link/twwnePR

Besides delivering captivating hard rock/metal tunes over and over again, the group are also known for capturing the essence of their art in the form of well-crafted music videos, mostly directed by long-time partner Andreas Lundin(Litbox Productions) – and the visualisation of the record’s title track is no exception: kept in blue shades, ‘The World Was Never Enough’ matches the thought-provoking atmosphere surrounding the whole album.

“Get ready to be captivated and energised by a powerful, heavy and tough hard rock/metal song with enchanting melodies and a catchy and haunting hook. Featuring lyrics which dive into a story with a spy and 007-like feeling to it, it’s a story about two people on the run who have a bond that is stronger and bigger than this world could ever offer,” lyricist Robert Hilli reveals.

On “The World Was Never Enough,” DAYS OF JUPITER’s first album in almost seven years, pure energy blends with raw rock ‘n’ roll spirit, resulting in a soundtrack for rebels and outsiders. Also made to spread the word of DOJ in new territories, the album consists of 10 excitingly varied tracks. It was recorded at Sweden’s Orange Monkey Studio, where the band locked themselves for quite a while, directed by mixing/mastering engineer Peo Hedin and Robert Hilli, who also took care of photography duties for the new campaign, to record the follow-up to “Panoptical” [2018]. Brilliantly summarising the essence of the record, the band hired Zark Metal Artwork to design the “TWWNE”cover which layout was fine worked by Jenny Pettersson.

  3. Machine
  4. Desolation

Their albums “Only Ashes Remain” and “New Awakening” helped expand their reach, landing them more live performances, including international shows. The band eventually supported DISTURBED in front of 10,000 fans in Estonia following the release of their fourth album, “Panoptical” [2018].

Finnish metal band Black .44 released their second studio album Bloodlines on February 7th 2025 via Inverse Records. Their debut album “No Blanks” hit the Official Finnish Album Charts on position #19 in 2015.

To celebrate the album release, the band also released a stunning music video ‘Aftermath’ made by Anssi Korhonen.

Life has taken the band members around the world since their debut album, and finally the next album will see the light of day. That’s pretty much the only daylight we’ll encounter with the release.

The band continues the theme of the first album with dark themes, because they too have to be confronted and overcome. Throughout the album, we deal with mental illness, extreme intolerance, political shenanigans and reflections on taking another person’s life along the tunes of tasty hard rock and stoner inspired metal.

The main themes of the album are the extreme difficulties of different parts of societies, the mental imbalance of certain individuals of humankind and the fundamental problems in humanity that pave the way of our race as a small grain of sand in the cold emptiness of the universe.

Our second album is a humble bow to the musical influences we grew up with to our respectable adult age, and we hope that these elements will also make our listeners smile and nod their heads along our music, because every drop of heart blood is squeezed into this album.

Swedish death metal purveyors DEMONICAL share music video for the band’s new single “Välkommen Undergång (Live)”, which debuts today on all streaming platforms.

The video was recorded in Czech Republic and can be watched here:

The 2-track release is available in its entirety on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services here. “Despite being in Swedish – or maybe because of it – our «Välkommen Undergång» midtempo-banger has become an iconic fan-favorite which always goes down well wherever in the world we play it,” comments DEMONICAL. Therefore, we decided to give it to you as a standalone live single, dedicated to you, our fervent fans, and defenders of deadly metal! In true old-school manner we do also have a B-side on the release, namely a live cover version of «Wolverine Blues» by the undead legends Entombed. This is a track we have often done live during the past years, so we felt it was about time for a digital debut of the latter. Thank you all for riding into battle with us!”

The single’s artwork was created by Seiya Ogino of Ogino Design.

Tracklisting:
1. Välkommen Undergång (Live in Latin America)
2. Wolverine Blues (Live in Latin America)

Stream the new single: https://orcd.co/arep029

DEMONICAL was spawned in 2006 by then-former Centinex members, Martin Schulman (bass), Ronnie Bergerståhl (drums) and Johan Jansson (ex-guitars & ex-vocals), with a mission to return to the roots of death metal. The now-fivepiece has made good on that promise with a vengeance, traversing a HM2-beaten path of melodic, Swedish death metal, replete with darkness and brutality. Their 2024’s live album “Victorious Death – Live In Latin America” crowns a discography of seven studio albums and three EPs, interlaced with regular tours. In spring 2024, the “Titans Of Darkness Tour” has taken place and has seen the band journey across Europe with Inquisition, with most of shows sold-out.
