ESHTADUR Summon New Video ‘Omen Of Millennia’ from Upcoming Album

Colombian melodic death metal band ESHTADUR has released a live video for “Omen Of Millennia”, offering another glimpse into their forthcoming album, “In Darkness All Shadows Gone“, due October 2nd, 2026.

“Omen Of Millennia” brings together the melodic, symphonic and modern dimensions of ESHTADUR’s sound. The song explores cycles of existence, reincarnation, and spiritual inheritance, reflecting on how unresolved wounds, debts, and lessons may continue across lifetimes, while what has already been learned becomes something carried forward.

Jorg comments:

“This track is the omen for what’s coming next with ESHTADUR. It also represents a collaboration between Camilo and me: we created the song by approaching a more modern side of the band’s sound – something easy to listen to, easy to catch, and easy to remember.”

At its core, the omen represents both a warning and a promise: the announcement of an approaching transformation. This idea connects the song to the broader concept behind “In Darkness All Shadows Gone“, where the figure of The Crow acts as a guide through existence, death, the void and the unknown.

The collaboration between Jorg August and guitarist Camilo Barbosa gives “Omen Of Millennia” a distinctive place within the album, with Barbosa also contributing the track’s guitar solo. Its more immediate approach offers another perspective on ESHTADUR’s sound while remaining connected to the darker and symphonic character of the upcoming record.

The accompanying live video brings the track into ESHTADUR’s performance environment, reflecting the band’s direct approach to the stage and its focus on musicianship, the songs themselves, and the connection with the audience.

“Omen Of Millennia” is taken from ESHTADUR’s forthcoming twelve-track album, “In Darkness All Shadows Gone“. Four years in the making, the record expands the band’s melodic death metal foundations through extensive symphonic arrangements, layered vocals, and Tuvan voices, building its musical and conceptual identity around mysticism, transformation, and inner transmutation.

The album features the Caldas Symphonic Orchestra in Colombia, adding an orchestral dimension to its darker and more cinematic material. Produced by Jorg August, the record also features drums recorded in Poland by Michal Lysejko (Dieth) and was mixed and mastered by Tomasz Zed Zalewski.

Throughout “In Darkness All Shadows Gone“, The Crow serves as a recurring shamanic figure moving between existence, death, the void, and the unknown. Rather than presenting darkness simply as an oppressive force, the album approaches it as part of a broader journey toward transformation and self-discovery.

THREESTEPSTOTHEOCEAN Announce New Album “Death of Permanence” + Unveil Video for ‘What Went Wrong’

Italian instrumental post-metal act THREESTEPSTOTHEOCEAN have announced their upcoming new studio album “Death of Permanence”, which is set to be released on October 16 via Subsound Records. Alongside the announcement, THREESTEPSTOTHEOCEAN unveil the track & video “What Went Wrong”, offering the first glimpse into the world of “Death of Permanence”.

The song marks a clean break from the past, streamlining the songwriting to focus entirely on sound.

The atmosphere is inspired by dark American underground hip-hop (akin to Dälek and Moodie Black): drums and bass mimic a classic “loop” approach, while synths build increasingly intense layers and the guitar emerges only halfway through with a single melody.

In line with this hip-hop/industrial urgency, the track centers on the vocal sample of “What Went Wrong”, a powerful and deeply personal poem written and spoken by Larry Stromberg. The audio was sourced from the archives of Prison Radio, a US independent multimedia production company that amplifies the voices of incarcerated individuals to challenge a discriminatory system. What Went Wrong. Three words that resonate powerfully every time we look at the world outside.

“Death of Permanence” marks the return of THREESTEPSTOTHEOCEAN, six years on from their last studio record. The new album stretches and deepens the band’s sonic reach, drawing on influences that extend well beyond the purely musical – while holding firm to a sound identity shaped across two decades of activity. At the same time, it enacts a deliberate, gradual shedding of what came before: not nostalgia, not repetition, but an unrelenting forward motion.

The record is rooted in the idea that much of what we consider stable or permanent is bound to shift, dissolve, or disappear – places, beliefs, relationships, the worlds we build around ourselves. The album observes this process with open eyes, accepting change as an inevitable part of human experience. It is, unmistakably, a rite of passage – toward a direction still unwritten, only partially legible, yet one whose emotional and existential toll runs deep beneath the surface.

Throughout this process of transformation, the band steps away from pure instrumentalism on multiple occasions, reaching outward through collaboration – a lived expression of a DIY ethic grounded in exchange and human connection. The record features the voice of sardinian performer Dalila Kayros, songwriter Conny Ochs, a vocal sample from Larry Stromberg, and the instrumental orchestrations of Moonlit.

Tracklist:

1. What Went Wrong
2. Black Syrup (feat. Dalila Kayros)
3. Future Questions
4. Every Time I Dive (feat. Moonlit)
5. Outer Gods (feat. Conny Ochs)
6. Eternity Is a Glitch

“Death of Permanence” was recorded and mixed by Stefano Santi at SPVN Studio in February and March 2026, with additional recording by Francesco Tosi. Mastering was handled by Giovanni Versari at La Maestà Mastering. The cover features Alexander Krack’s photograph “The Treatment”, with artwork and design by Riccardo Giacomin.

“Death of Permanence” will be out on October 16 via Subsound Records in LP, CD and DIGITAL formats and is now available for pre-order HERE

MALEDICTUS Reveal New Single & Video ‘Madam Death’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on September 7, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: MALEDICTUS. Leave a comment

MALEDICTUS is a Portuguese metal band formed in Lisbon. Bringing together experienced musicians with a shared vision, the band creates dark, powerful and atmospheric heavy music. With a foundation of aggressive riffs, haunting melodies and emotional vocals, the band blends modern heavy metal with darker, more melodic influences.

Today, MALEDICTUS reveal their 3rd single, called “Madam Death“, out of their upcoming debut album “Lazarvs“, which will be released on November 13th through Fireflash Records.

Stream/Download the track: https://save-it.cc/fireflash/madam-death
Get it on Bandcamp: https://ff-maledictus.bandcamp.com/track/madam-death

The band comments: “Some ghosts are not buried in the earth, but in our hearts. They do not ask to be remembered; they only ask to be endured until love turns to poison, teaching us that there is no grave deep enough for a lie. Madam Death screams in painful agony, her grief unburied and forged in rage. “He loved the Lady of Death as a mortal loves the moon — from afar and in silence, knowing that one day she would call it home.”

Bassist Butch Cid created the truely epic video for the track, which deserves attention and fits perfectly to the dark lyrics and the emotional music. “The “Madam Death” music video was created as a living, animated oil-painting narrative in which light, texture, and form shift dynamically with the music. We first developed the story, characters, emotional arcs, visual motifs, pacing, and symbolism through traditional creative discussion. Only afterwards did we generate and meticulously refine the images and animation—using AI purely as a technical tool under their direction—so that every compositional, color, movement, and timing choice remained a deliberate human decision. Every tool is only a quiet servant of the all-seeing eye”, says the artist.

The group was formed by musicians seeking to explore a heavier and more expressive sound, combining technical musicianship with compelling songwriting and a cinematic atmosphere. Their music strikes a balance between intensity and melody, moving between crushing guitar passages, dynamic rhythms, and dramatic vocal performances. “Our music reflects who we are and how we process life and our own emotions. Music is life manifested through an artist’s soul. We all process life with a sense of dark melancholy”, comments guitarist Ben Stockwell. As history has taught us, Portuguese metal bands are known for their melancholic sound, which reflects their cultural identity.

Since their formation, MALEDICTUS has been focused on creating music that reflects the darker and more emotional aspects of the metal genre. Drawing inspiration from classic and contemporary metal acts, the band aims to create a sound that feels familiar yet distinct, appealing to fans of powerful, atmospheric metal.

Boasting a line-up of seasoned performers and a clear artistic vision, MALEDICTUS is developing new material and establishing its presence in the Portuguese metal scene and beyond. Their debut album, „Lazarvs“, is set to be released on Friday 13th of November. The album title draws heavily on the biblical story of Lazarus in the Gospel of John, in which Jesus performs the great miracle of raising his deceased friend Lazarus from the dead after he had been in the tomb for four days.

„Lazarvs“ can now be pre-ordered on a limited, white colored vinyl edition (incl. a signed autographcard), as well as on a CD Digipak and digital. On Bandcamp you can also buy a cover shirt and various Bundles.

Get the album on CD, Vinyl & Merch Bundles on Bandcamp: https://ff-maledictus.bandcamp.com/album/lazarvs

“We wanted it to have that poetic twist of a second coming,” says the guitarist, hinting at the band members’ past in SEVENTH STORM, who released their critically acclaimed debut album, „Maledictus“, in 2022. Two years later, four members left to form MALEDICTUS. „The core of the music-writing team from Seventh Storm stayed the same, so the sound of Maledictus might sound somewhat familiar. However, Peter Crushes brought a new style of rhythm section and melodies, which have contributed to the band’s unique sound. „Lazarvs“ is a spiritual follow-up to our previous work,“ states Ben Stockwell, who is totally satisfied with the final result. „We are extremely proud of all the tracks. The result exceeded our initial expectations. We knew it had potential, and as the good ideas came, so did the inspiration to raise the bar with each song.“

With Rez on vocals, the band has an exceptional singer with a distinctive, powerful voice. „He is undoubtedly one of the best out there having power, soul, range and a unique timbre. Everything fits perfectly with our sound. We couldn’t have asked for a better voice or frontman“, says the guitarist. Rez’s lyrics are another perfect addition to the band’s dark, epic and partly progressive sound. The lyrical themes focus on life’s darkest moments. „Death brings an opportunity for renewal, as do our most difficult struggles, which require part of us to die in order to be overcome.“

RESOLVE Announce New Album “Spread My Ashes Into Space” + Share Title Track with Video

French metalcore force Resolve return with their brand new single ‘Spread My Ashes Into Space’, marking the beginning of a bold new chapter for the band. Cinematic, crushing and deeply emotional, the track arrives alongside the announcement of their new album of the same name, set for release on 15th January, 2027.

Stream and pre-order here: https://arisingempire.com/Resolve

The modern metalcore DNA that has defined the band, the single expands their sonic world with a renewed sense of ambition, depth and cinematic scope. At its heart, ‘Spread My Ashes Into Space’ explores the overwhelming desire to escape when the weight of reality becomes impossible to ignore. Space becomes a metaphor for absolute freedom, a place beyond expectations, pressure and noise. Against imagery of infinite darkness, solar flares and hyperspace, the song wrestles with the line between surrender and self preservation, repeatedly returning to its central question: “Is it a cure or an escape?”

The band comments: “This first single and title track dive into the moment the breaking point is reached, and how that kickstarts a new perspective. The core of this song revolves around one specific question that kept coming up when writing the lyrics: “Is it a cure or an escape?”. I’ve had times when the sheer weight of everything, the noise, the expectations, made me almost consider changing up my whole life and escape to a quieter, more serene place. In this song, space represents this: an ultimate silence and isolation. A place with “no rules, no gods, just infinite black unknown. It’s about the desperate need to find a sanctuary where you can finally be free from the weight of reality, a place where you can just exist however you see fit. This place has been harder and harder to reach for me these past few years, and I think I’m not alone in that. Some might read the lyrics and see a dark surrender, but I want the audience to see it as written from a place of hope. It’s that feeling of being an “escape artist with no hands,” trying to find a way out when you’re completely backed into a corner. Ultimately, it’s a very raw admission that sometimes, the urge to disappear isn’t about wanting to escape the actual world, but simply trying to save yourself from a system that feels too loud.”

PLUME Share Final Single & Video ‘My Cortisol Face’ from Upcoming Debut Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on September 7, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: PLUME. Leave a comment

Rising alternative heavy act PLUME return with their striking new single ‘My Cortisol Face’, the final release before their highly anticipated debut album Saferooms & Healing Frequencies arrives on 25th September  via Arising Empire.

Stream and pre-order here: https://arisingempire.com/plume

Blurring the lines between hyperpop shimmer, emotional metalcore and futuristic electronic production, ‘My Cortisol Face’ captures PLUME at their most vulnerable and volatile. Glittering electronics collide with crushing guitars, ethereal clean vocals and piercing screams, creating a track that feels equally fragile, chaotic and euphoric.

Lyrically, the song dives headfirst into anxiety, distorted self perception and the exhausting battle against your own reflection. Images of glitter caught in the throat, ribs beneath paper thin skin and rehearsed smiles paint an unsettling picture of someone desperately trying to maintain the surface while everything underneath begins to fracture. The recurring question of whether this experience is a nightmare or everything they have been dreaming about sits at the emotional core of the track.

That conflict erupts in the chorus, where pain and style become almost inseparable. ‘My Cortisol Face’ transforms inner turmoil into something strangely beautiful, balancing vulnerability with an undeniable sense of attitude and immediacy. As the song builds towards its desperate final moments, repeated questions of whether the pain will ever end underline the feeling of being trapped in an emotional freefall.

The single follows PLUME’s recent releases ‘Digital Waterboarding’, ‘Furious Icon’, ‘Angel Engine’ and ‘A Cure For A Knife’s Blade’, each revealing another side of the band’s rapidly evolving sonic identity. Since signing with Arising Empire earlier this year, the German four piece have continued to establish themselves as one of the most intriguing newcomers in modern alternative heavy music, combining pop sensibility with distorted guitars, synthesizers, fractured rhythms and a visual identity inspired by glam rock and contemporary digital culture.

Fronted by Pascal Pashaee alongside guitarist David Riederer, keyboardist Luka Lorch and drummer Richard Kilian, PLUME approach their music as more than a collection of songs. Their immersive live performances and carefully constructed visual world form an extension of a sound that refuses to sit comfortably within a single genre.

With their debut album Saferooms & Healing Frequencies set for release on 25th September, PLUME are preparing to bring that vision into full focus. The 13 track record represents the next major step for a band increasingly determined to reshape the boundaries between pop, metalcore and forward thinking alternative music.

As the final glimpse of the album before its arrival, ‘My Cortisol Face’ feels like a fitting statement of intent: intimate, dramatic, unpredictable and unapologetically PLUME.

REVNOIR Unleash Powerful New Single ‘Fracture’ + Announce Debut Album “Sometimes I feel you, sometimes I don’t”

French modern metalcore force REVNOIR return with their powerful new single ‘Fracture’, a gripping anthem that channels fear, resistance and the determination to keep fighting when hope feels increasingly difficult to hold onto. The release also marks the beginning of the pre-order for the band’s highly anticipated debut album, Sometimes I feel you, sometimes I don’t, set for release on 27th November via Arising Empire.

Pre-order the album here: https://arisingempire.com/revnoir

Described by the band as “a collective cry of resistance: the surrounding fear, and, in spite of it all, the refusal to give up,” ‘Fracture’ captures the tension of living in a world where silence, uncertainty and helplessness can become overwhelming.

Built around the question of whether we simply stand by or find the courage to speak up, the track moves between raw vulnerability and outright defiance. Its lyrics paint a bleak picture of fear taking hold, voices being swallowed before they can be heard and people desperately searching for better days. Yet beneath that darkness lies a powerful sense of unity. “Fracture” ultimately refuses resignation, transforming anxiety and isolation into a collective call to stand together.
Musically, REVNOIR deliver one of their most commanding statements to date. Stunning vocals collide with intricate, virtuosic instrumentation and colossal modern production, steadily building toward a towering and unforgettable chorus. Heavy, atmospheric and deeply emotional, ‘Fracture’ showcases the band’s ability to balance vulnerability with sheer force while pushing their distinctive take on modern metalcore further forward.

Since emerging in 2023, REVNOIR have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting new names in the French and European modern metal scene. Across their first two EPs and subsequent releases, the band have already accumulated more than 8 million streams, while their rapid rise earned them the title of Best Breakthrough Artist at Les Foudres 2025. Their growing reputation has also taken them to major stages across Europe, including Hellfest Main Stage, alongside extensive touring and festival appearances.

Their momentum has been equally evident on the live front. Following sold-out headline shows in Paris, REVNOIR have continued to expand their reach beyond France, including a European tour alongside Future Palace, proving that the intensity and emotion behind their music translate just as powerfully to the stage.

With ‘Fracture’, REVNOIR now open the next chapter of their journey as the pre-order for their debut album Sometimes I feel you, sometimes I don’t .begins
