DIMMAN Release Third Single + Music Video ‘The Acrimony’ from Upcoming Album

Finnish melodic death metal band Dimman is set to release their second studio album ‘Consciousness’ on February 28th 2025 via Inverse Records. The third single ‘The Acrimony’ is released today and the music video is available below.

“The Acrimony contains something new and something old, I would say the track even plays with darkness. Although it’s full throttle almost all the time, the driver still has a light grin on their face. The song is packed with musical tricks, and special mention must go to our drummer Arto, who sometimes seems to have the tentacles of an octopus. The breathless tempo of the song also allowed for a hefty dose of lyrics, which our vocalist spits out at times like a true rapper.”  says, Jaakko Yli-Sorvari, guitars

FRANCESCO MARRAS Releases New Single And Video ‘Cyber ​​Lust’

The new single by Sardinian musician FRANCESCO MARRAS (founder of Screaming Shadows and member of the English band Tygers of pan tang since 2020), is released today, Friday 6th December 2024, by the independent label Hell Tour Productions. The single is titled “Cyber ​​Lust” and is available on all digital streaming/download platforms.

The song, inspired by great Hard Rock albums such as Led Zeppelin’s “Physical Graffiti” and Whitesnake’s “Slip of the tongue”, talks about a very current topic, that of pornography addiction.

This time the Sardinian guitarist wanted to involve, as a guest on vocals, his bandmate Iacopo Meille, frontman of Tygers of pan Tang, while the hammond parts were recorded by keyboardist Marco Cossu.

The Tuscan singer said : “Recording the vocals for “Cyber Lust” was such an experience. It’s not always easy to feel comfortable singing a song written by somebody else, but this time I felt like Francesco has written it having me in mind”.

The single, which boasts a modern sound (curated by Marras himself at his recording studio) and which at the same time winks at classic Hard Rock productions, we are sure will not disappoint all lovers of the genre.

Shine is an affirmation. It’s about reminding yourself that no matter what life throws at you, you have what it takes to make it through. SARCOPHAGUM spawned to life in the early half of 2021, during the time of the plague as a new project featuring Golgothan Remains members past and present. The purpose being to provide a channel to explore new ideas and sounds in a studio-only setting. The dark death metal realm remains the primary influence and a debut EP, “Conduits to the Underworld”, was released in 2022 through Nuclear Winter Records, followed swiftly by a stand alone single, “This Wrought Creation”. TELMA Announce New Album “Awakening” + Release Video for Powerful New Single ‘Seventeen’

Greek modern metal outfit TELMA has announced their upcoming sophomore album, “Awakening”, set for release on February 28th, 2025. To fuel the anticipation, the band has shared the intense first single, “Seventeen”, accompanied by a powerful music video.

“‘Seventeen’, is a poignant and powerful tribute to women who have suffered as victims of gender-based violence,” TELMA explains. “The song draws attention to a grim reality in Greece, where a significant number of women tragically lose their lives each year at the hands of their partners. Through its haunting melody and heartfelt lyrics, ‘Seventeen’ honors the memory of these women while striving to shine a light on this pressing social issue. It is both a remembrance and a call to action, urging society to confront and combat gender violence with urgency and compassion“.

Building upon the success of their 2021 debut, “Eternal”, which delved into the inner struggles of humanity, “Awakening” takes a broader, more socially conscious approach. The album addresses pressing global issues such as the abuse of power, societal injustice, and gender-based violence.

“‘Awakening’ takes the torch from ‘Eternal’ – The thirst of power of the few that leads societies to war, people in despair and more hatred born. ‘Awakening’ talks about social injustices, gender violence, and issues that have always been around but have now come to the surface in our country and across the world. All deriving from the same root, our futile thirst for power and control of others. But in all this darkness, we do not give up and we stand and live our life the way we choose.

Despite the waves that hit us, we have to embrace reality and fight together. That is the whole point of this album, that is the point of the ‘Awakening’!“
