Los Angeles Melodic Black/Death Metal band THE MOSAIC WINDOW have unleashed a new video ‘The Pounding Of Hooves’, taken from the band’s “Hemasanctum” album.
Hailing from Los Angeles, The Mosaic Window is a one-man melodic black/death metal band that explores all aspects of human existence through tragically brutal songwriting. Formed in 2021 by Andrew Steven Brown after many years of not playing music, The Mosaic Window originally was a coping mechanism following the deaths of Brown’s father and grandmother during the pandemic. After some recognition from the catatonic release of the “Hollow” EP, a resurgence of motivation to continue this type of music therapy overcame Brown, which led to the creation of the debut album, “Plight of Acceptance” in summer 2023. This debut quickly turned heads, including that of Willowtip Records, which signed the band and re-released the album later in 2023. Only just a year later, The Mosaic Window released the brutal sophomore album “Hemasanctum” with guests Gabe Seeber (Vale of Pnath, Abigail Williams, Obscura, Carach Angren) on drums, and Andy LaRocque (King Diamond) for two guest solos. Already, “Hemasanctum” has proven to be a massive set up from the debut, and The Mosaic Window is quickly becoming an unstoppable force in the world of black/death metal.

True to their name, Dakar represents the spirit of American rock from Duval County, Florida. Founded by talented musicians David Benfield, Darrell Edmunds, and Luke Jean in 2019, Dakar has quickly risen to prominence with their distinctive sound that they describe as “analog rock for a digital world.” With a blend of 90s guitar-driven alternative hard rock, indie, punk, modern, and southern rock influences, Dakar’s music captivates audiences with its raw energy and unapologetic style.
Following the success of their EPs, “Come and Get It” in 2020 and “Over the Line” in 2021, Dakar gained widespread acclaim for their raucous dystopian cautionary title track, “Over the Line,” a powerful combination of overdriven classic rock guitars and ferocious vocals. The band’s musical evolution and their passion for crafting authentic and powerful compositions set them apart in the competitive rock scene.
“Say It Again” was recorded at Friends of Friends studio in Jax under the skilled guidance of engineer Brok Mendes. The band poured their heart and soul into the nine-month-long production process, resulting in an album that showcases their collective talent, dedication, and growth as musicians.

On the surface, “We’re Not Yet Alright” may seem like a lighthearted drinking anthem, akin to earlier tracks like ‘Cheap Beer’ and ‘Entertainment’. However, the track offers more than meets the eye. At its core, the lyrics delve into the experience of seeking refuge in a bar—where, for a fleeting moment, we find comfort and connection with others who share our struggles. It’s about realizing we’re all a little broken, but in this space, we don’t have to face the world outside. Flush’s music creates a temporary refuge for those who need it, offering a sense of belonging where we can say, “We’re all fucked, so let’s be fucked together.”

Polish band ASGAARD were formed in 1994. Within 30 years of existence on Polish metal scene, as a band, they have been on a musical journey starting with a symphonic mix of gothic and black metal, revealing a more progressive visage in 2022, up to the current acoustic prog rock combined with electronic music.

“Lullabies for Harlots” EP is the band’s newest offering and a follow-up to a critically acclaimed 7th full-length album “What if…”. Delving even deeper into the universe of dark electronic music ASGAARD returns with what is to believed to be their most experimental work up to date. Two brand new tracks with an exceptional cover of Behemoth’s “Antichristian Phenomenon” topped with the previously unavailable on a physical format acoustic renditions of three songs taken from the “What if….” album. The band again taps Bartłomiej Trzos, a renowned and award-winning graphic designer, to create the EP’s cover artwork as well as its design and layout.
“When it comes to the ‘Lullaby’, well… I guess this song purely defines what Asgaard is all about. ‘Unpredictability’ may be a good word down here. Besides, this is one of the most beautiful lullabies that you’ve ever heard in your entire life” – jokes Quazarre, the vocalist of the band.

Formed in 2011, SKAM are a hard rock power trio band from the middle of England. They have a reputation for delivering no nonsense, gutsy, classic sounding contemporary British rock music. To date, the band have independently released 3 albums. ‘It’s Come to This’ (2011) and ‘Peacemaker’ (2014) were released to critical acclaim and the band established themselves as a live force to be reckoned with.
A drive to innovate inspired SKAM to release ‘The Amazing Memoirs of Geoffrey Goddard’ (2017), a concept record based on the diary entries of a time travelling RAF pilot. The songs were described as ‘gritty anthemic rockers’ by Classic Rock Magazine and the album received a number of 5 star reviews from the UK Music press. Lead single ‘Take it Or Leave it’ was voted as ‘track of the week’ by Classic Rock Magazine and has since been included on Earache Records ‘New Wave of Rock N Roll’ compilation vinyl. In 2021, broke into the Official UK Rock Charts with their ‘Intra’ EP hitting number 6. Part 2 ‘Venous’ went one better making it to number 5.
And now the band returns with new album ‘From The Depths‘, their most eclectic and ambitious album yet. On this album they have pushed themselves into unknown waters, experimenting with everything from Metal to prog, to Acoustic balladry.
