”This album includes quite a different songs, yet the musical storyline from the beginning till the end is clear. It includes both more straightforward heaviness and more delicate atmospheres, without forgetting progressive influences. Despite the variety in the songs, there are some elements that unites the songs: catchy melodies and choruses, cello sound and the use of clean and growling vocals. We wanted to develop our sound from our previous The Curse of Valor EP (2020) into something slightly heavier and bring out the band’s own identity,” the band explains.

Eregion is proud to share two exciting announcements that mark significant milestones in the band’s journey. After performing live with the band over the past few months, violinist Katjia Di Giulio, also known for her work with Eternal Silence, has officially joined Eregion as a permanent member. Her incredible talent and artistry bring a new dynamic to Eregion’s evolving sound. The band is thrilled to welcome Katjia to their official lineup and looks forward to exploring fresh musical horizons together.
In addition, Eregion is delighted to announce the release of their latest album, “Non Omnis Moriar” in Japan. Originally released on May 24, 2024, this album has already received widespread acclaim for its blend of epic, melodic and battle-starved energy. Its availability in Japan marks a new chapter for the band as they reach a broader audience and continue to build their international presence.
ABOUT “NON OMNIS MORIAR”
Described in five words—epic, melodic, powerful, direct, and battle-starved—“Non Omnis Moriar” is more than just an album; it’s an immersive experience. The record showcases Eregion’s growth as artists, offering a rich mix of fast-paced tracks, a heartfelt ballad and compositions that venture into new sonic territories. This variety ensures there is something fresh for every listener.
The album’s lyrics draw deeply from Viking history, mythological themes, and the fantastical worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien, blending historical and literary narratives into a compelling musical journey. Musically, “Non Omnis Moriar” leans more heavily into power metal than previous releases, though it retains the essence of Eregion’s signature sound.
Eregion’s sound takes inspiration from iconic bands like Ensiferum, Blind Guardian, Judas Priest, Crimson Glory and Manowar. While grounded in power metal and classic heavy metal, their music continues to evolve, demonstrating the band’s willingness to push boundaries while remaining true to their epic roots.
The album’s title, which translates to “I will not die completely,” reflects the enduring legacy of heroic deeds and the impact of one’s actions beyond life itself. With this release, Eregion invites listeners to embark on an unforgettable journey through history and fantasy, powered by their melodic and epic soundscapes.

The beginnings of the Białystok band HERMH date back to 1993.
In 1994, the band recorded and released their first demo “Oremus Peccatum (Refaim)“, and a year later another demo was released – “Crying Crowns Of Trees” (featuring Adam “Nergal” Darski). Both demos were included on the compilation “Echo” (1995). In 1996, “Taran” was released, the first studio album by the Białystok band. In the same year, the band signed a record contract with the renowned Polish label Pagan Records and in 1997 released the album “Angeldemon“, which was a big step forward in relation to previous productions. Unfortunately, in 1998 the band broke up, and vocalist Bart resumed his activity in 2003, with musicians from bands such as Abused Majesty and Asgaard joining the band.
After reactivation, the band led by Bartek Krysiuk released EPs “Before the Eden – Awaiting the Fire” (2004) and “After the Fire – Ashes” (200), DVD “The Spiritual Nation Born” (2008) and albums: “Eden’s Fire” (2006) and “Cold Blood Messiah” under the banner of the renowned label Mystic Production. In their work, the group refers to mythology and the history of vampirism and mysticism. During their activity, the band HERMH played many live shows, including with Vader, Behemoth, Asgaard, Closterkeller, Artrosis or Virgin Snatch and Blindead. In 2005, the band performed on the small stage of the prestigious Metalmania festival.
After the last concert performances in 2013, HERMH went into hibernation.
After 30 years, Polish label Via Nocturna has announced the re-release of the cult demo by Podlasie black metallers HERMH. “Oremus Peccatum (Refaim)” will be released as a 6-panel digipak CD and a strictly limited to 44 copies white cassette. The music for this release was re-mastered at Hertz Studio by the Wiesławski brothers in 2006. Diana Sawicka from What the Moon Brings is responsible for the new graphic design of the reissue. A occasional T-shirt is also available for sale. The premiere is scheduled for December 13, 2024. Orders can be placed in the label’s online store (https://tinyurl.com/oremus-peccatum)

The latest transmission from the shadowed circle of Ordo Vampyr Orientis (BAT MAGIC, BAD MANOR, BEASTIAL MAJESTY), pianistic Black Metal mavericks BENEATH MOONLIGHT arrive on DMP in fantastic style with their unhinged self-titled debut EP.
Over six tracks, the clandestine entity dramatically channels the evil spirits, gothic castles and filthy asylums of ’90s lycanthropic Black Metal with a peculiar modern power and edge-of-seat propulsion.
Tracklist:
01. Intro – Malleus Maleficarum 02. None Before God 03. Reckoning of the Inquisitor 04. Versipellis 05. Beneath Moonlight 06. Vals – Malleus Lycanthroporum
These six audio incantations were finalized by Jacob Buczarski (MARE COGNITUM). ‘Intro – Malleus Maleficarum‘ was composed and mixed by Sanguine (AVERSE SEFIRA). Blondel del Nesle guests on the title track.
The cursed cover painting was created by Karmazid (MOURNFUL CONGREGATION, LAMP OF MURMUUR), and the BENEATH MOONLIGHT insignia was illustrated by Misanthropic-Art (KATATONIA, MORTUARY DRAPE). Layout is by Yurii Kazarian / Into The Abyss Design.
Composer and pianist The Sanguinarian reflects on the band’s name:
“I’d already begun composing the BENEATH MOONLIGHT EP when the name appeared to me in a ferocious and terrifying vision. A spectre, lit aflame in red light, whispered it in my ear and I felt my flesh singe and eardrums pop with each syllable.“
The EP is the first part of the Henricus Institor saga, so named after the German churchman who in 1487 published a document known as the Malleus Maleficarum – a veritable how–to guide for the inquisitioning and dispatching of accused witches.
As a first gateway into the story, BENEATH MOONLIGHT offer the song ‘None Before God‘ – a maniacal and melodious ode to the Dark Arts.
Listen via DMP‘s YouTube channel:
The Sanguinarian comments on ‘None Before God‘:
“‘None Before God‘s introduction is an extravagant tribute to Beethoven, and it was from there an exercise in finding evil textures and summonings to complement its impetus’ pretence.“
Guitarist The Ghastly Vrykolak adds:
“To match The Sanguinarian’s boldness, I meditated on specific chord voicings and, with The Haunted Strigoi’s textural counterpoint and lyrical, melodious bass work, found within myself the most sinister riffs possible. BENEATH MOONLIGHT is superlative, and as such it demanded the finest performance from each member.“
“Beneath Moonlight” will be released on vinyl – including an exclusive DMP edition – and digital on December 20th. Pre-orders are available via the label’s EU, US and Bandcamp shops.

Nearly five years after the release of “#13,” Swiss rockers GOTTHARD are making a powerful comeback with their highly anticipated new album, “Stereo Crush,” set to release on March 21, 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
To mark the announcement, the band have unveiled their latest single, ‘Boom Boom.’ This high-energy anthem not only celebrates the album announcement but also offers a dynamic preview of the signature sound fans can expect from “Stereo Crush.”
Guitar duo Leo Leoni and Freddy Scherer ignite the track with heavy riffs that haven’t been heard in the GOTTHARD realm for quite some time. The remarkable rhythm section, powered by bassist Marc Lynn and drummer Flavio Mezzodi, propels the Swiss express forward with relentless energy, while frontman Nic Maeder masterfully commands the journey through hard rock territory with his powerful and charismatic vocals. Building up to an irresistibly catchy chorus, it’s clear to all that this is a new GOTTHARD classic in the making.
Leo Leoni explains the personal meaning of the song: “I wrote it when I found out that we were expecting a child. The birth of my son Gabriel was a moment that completely changed my life. When I hold him in my arms, look into his eyes or see his smile, I feel an indescribable love and deep gratitude. This song is my way of expressing all these feelings for him.”
Produced and mixed by long-time partner Charlie Bauerfeind, who’s known for his work with the likes of HELLOWEEN and BLIND GUARDIAN, alongside founding member Leo Leoni at Yellowhouse Studio, and mastered by Sascha “Busy” Bühren (TrueBusyness), “Stereo Crush” promises to set new standards which will additionally come to shine on the band’s forthcoming touring cycle: GOTTHARD will open it with a tour in May, accompanied by special guests Y&T, before the quintet head to select festivals as well as the stages of their home country at the end of 2025. The band’s current live schedule and ticket info can be found below!
Fans should also mark January 17 of next year in their calendars as “Stereo Crush” pre-orders will officially be launched on that date. One thing’s for sure: Even in 2025, there won’t be a way around GOTTHARD for the worldwide hard rock community!
