NULLOR Sign with Wormholedeath for Release of Debut Album “Finalform”

Wormholedeath is thrilled to announce the signing of NULLOR, an emerging force in alt-metal and dark rock. Nullor’s debut album, Finalform, will officially be released worldwide on March 7, 2025, ushering in a sound that’s as raw and heavy as it is intricate and introspective.

About Finalform

Finalform is a visceral testament to Nullor’s musical evolution, born from the wreckage of previous bands and driven by a resolute DIY ethos. Conceived out of disappointment and rebirth, Finalform finds Nullor shedding the notion that one needs a full band to bring powerful, multi-dimensional music to life. “I’d always assumed you needed a whole functioning band to create music,” Nullor reflects. “A mentor once asked me why I didn’t just do it myself, and after years of excuses, it finally hit me: why not?”

Nullor’s sonic palette draws on a wide array of influences, blending the raw grit of Helmet, the rhythmic complexity of Meshuggah, the atmosphere of The Cure, and the intensity of Faith No More. The album is built around odd polyrhythmic structures laid over grooves that swing and grind, creating an immersive experience that’s as heavy as it is unexpected. “It sounds more educated than it is,” Nullor explains, “like pounding square blocks into round holes sideways.”

Finalform explores deeply personal themes through its lyrics, capturing both the haunting and the darkly humorous aspects of life’s highs and lows. It’s a chronicle of disaster, resilience, and creative defiance—an unfiltered look into the mind of an artist who has finally found his own voice.

VULTUR Drop First Single ‘Nemini Parco’ from Upcoming Album “Cultores de Perdas e Linna”

“Nemini Parco” is the first single extracted from “Cultores de Perdas e Linna“, the new album of the Sardinian Black Metal veterans VULTUR. The album release is set for February 28th via Masked Dead Records and Sulphur Music.

JON ANDERSON & THE BAND GEEKS Premiere New Video ‘Your Move/I’ve Seen All Good People’ from Upcoming Live CD/DVD

JON ANDERSON & THE BAND GEEKS have premiered the 2nd video from their upcoming live cd/dvd for the YES classic “Your Move/ I’ve Seen All Good People”. The video was shot at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, Illinois on the 2023 tour and follows the release last month of the video for “And You And I”. You can see the video here:

MAN WITH A MISSION Celebrate 15th Anniversary with New Track ‘Reaching For The Sky’

Japanese superstars MAN WITH A MISSION have announced their new XV EP to celebrate their 15th anniversary in 2025. The EP will be released digitally on March 12th via Century Media with a physical release to follow later in 2025.

Marking the announcement the half-man, half-wolf collective have released the brand new single ‘REACHING FOR THE SKY’. It is a fast-paced alternative rock track with dynamic anthemic energy featuring propulsive riffs, powerful electronics, an uplifting chorus and a frenzied rap which sees MAN WITH A MISSION making a bold statement to kick off their landmark year.

Following the release of the single MAN WITH A MISSION will start their headline arena tour in Japan this week. Commencing on February 1st they will tour across the country on the MAN WITH A “15th” MISSION PLAY WHAT U WANT TOUR 2025. SVART VINTER Ink Deal with Non Serviam Records, New Album “Isvind” Out Later This Year

Italian atmospheric black metal band SVART VINTER have just inked a deal with Dutch label Non Serviam Records.
 
Founded in Rome in 2021 by members of the doom/death metal band Veil Of Conspiracy, they draw inspiration from the classic Norwegian black metal scene of the 90’s.

SVART VINTER’s sound is characterized by haunting melodies, cold, sharp riffs, and a powerful, relentless rhythm section. Their lyrics delve into themes of nature, isolation, and existential struggle, exploring both the beauty and the darkness of the natural world and the human condition. Their music is more than just a reflection of black metal’s harsh sound – it’s a journey through darkness, atmosphere and emotion, a tribute to the genre’s past while looking toward its future.

AINSOPH to Release New Album “Affection and Vengeance” on March 14th

On March 14th, 2025, AINSOPH unveils “Affection and Vengeance” via Wolves Of Hades. This release promises to immerse listeners in melancholic post-punk soundscapes and experimental black metal outbreaks, showcasing the band’s sonic evolution and evocative artistry.

Five years ago, an entrancing piece of aural magick entitled “Ω – V” was released unto the ether, an awe-inspiring work of wonder and dreamlike gazing introducing AINSOPH into this mortal coil. Now, the time is nigh for a new offering, one which is purveyed by the elements which enthralled the heart and soul in 2020, further heading into another level of contemplation, of a feverish will to feel and disassociate, to exist and disintegrate.

“Affection and Vengeance” is deeply moving in its capacity to evoke raw emotion from profound regions thru its utterly immersive sound. Pulsing beats mimic throbbing hearts abreast gashing riffs and licks, thoroughly moving with its plethora of shades and colours, as urgent as it is bucolic, burning with life as it serenely contemplates the void. The group’s reverberations grasp a new apex, as the electric, hypnotizing wall of sound embraces the listener in a solitary pathway where variety is yet again a feature in the creations of AINSOPH. A dichotomy is not only breathing in the album’s title, but it is also felt in how the Dutch entity thrives through catchy, melancholic post-punk pastures – where the wonderous voice of I.V. sparkles and moves – or blast-beating black metal inspired outbreaks, incurring in experimental traits that enrich this audial palette, showcasing AINSOPH reaching new heights in intensity and climax.

“Affection and Vengeance” stands as a thorough experience into the nadirs of the mind, body and soul, a sorrowful, a pleasurable and certainly an unforgettable voyage over and beyond ethereal planes of ecstasy.
