Greek groove metal heavyweights FULL HOUSE BREW CREW celebrate the release of their brand-new studio album “Glasgow Grin”, out now worldwide via ROAR – A Division Of Reigning Phoenix Music!
With “Glasgow Grin”, the band returns with maximum force and zero compromises. Driven by crushing riffs, relentless grooves, and raw intensity, the album captures FULL HOUSE BREW CREW in their most aggressive and focused form to date. It is an album that never takes its foot off the gas, delivering pure power from start to finish.
Fronted by guitarist and vocalist Vagelis Karzis (Wolfheart, ex-Rotting Christ), the band unleashes a sound that is both brutally direct and tightly controlled. “Glasgow Grin” reflects a violent state of mind fueled by tension, anger, and personal confrontation.
“We let ourselves loose and did what felt natural to us, without forcing the songwriting in any direction other than what served the song best,” says Karzis.
For the first time, FULL HOUSE BREW CREW collaborated with Finnish sound engineer Saku Moilanen at Deep Noise Studios, who handled mixing and mastering duties. The result is a massive, punchy production that perfectly complements the album’s groove-heavy aggression.
“Like always, the band is moving in a direction that feels right for us,” Karzis adds. “That’s why we keep evolving, taking risks, and changing things. Each album represents a different musical state. Glasgow Grin is the one we are most proud of so far. We worked more as a team than ever before and didn’t hold back for any mainstream reasons.”
The award-winning roots rockin’ octet Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado are road warriors in the truest sense – not a month passes without them being on tour, it is the environment that they live for, so it’s only fitting that as they are about to head out on an enormous tour across Europe that they reveal their new single, the live version of ‘Said I Was Hurt’.
The song was recorded on 29 November 2025 at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen, Denmark; one of the band’s final shows on their ‘House of Sticks’ winter tour, and saw the band fully flexing their sophisticated might.
Situated at the heart of Copenhagen, the Hotel Cecil has played home to a Jazzhouse, a Playhouse and originally served as a meeting place, lecture hall, and administrative hub for the women’s emancipation movement in Denmark when it was built in 1936. Set to an Art Deco backdrop, it perfectly suits the smooth, smoky blues sounds from Denmark’s hardest working band.
Thorbjørn adds: “The song is written by our guitarist Joachim Svensmark. This live version of the song was recorded at the wonderful venue Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen in November 2025. It’s always special to perform in your own home town in front of long time friends and fans. The place was packed and the crowd was just wonderful. A very special night where everything just came together perfectly.”
The song is taken from the House of Sticks album, which was released in January 2025 via Provogue/Artone and serves as the perfect foil to winter, it emits a slow warming sensation. Slow and soothing, it’s a song that wraps itself around you in a sorrowful embrace. You can visualise it right now.
The eight piece band adorn the high stage, the curtains are raised and, as the lights are turned down low, the band’s neon logo dominates your attention and the drape flanked room catapults you to another place and another time. That’s where the Danish sensations draw you in; Thorbjørn Risager (Vocals, Electric Guitar), Emil Balsgaard (Organ, Keys), Joachim Svensmark (Electric Guitar), Kasper Wagner (Baritone Sax), Hans Nybo (Tenor Sax), Peter W Kehl (Trumpet), Søren Bøjgaard (Bass) and Martin Seidelin (Drums, Percussion).
They’ve won four Danish Music Awards (with seven nominations), the “Best Band” in the European Blues Awards and won the prestigious German Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik Jahrespreis – German Record Critics’ Awards. Blazing a trail worldwide with more than 1.500 shows, they’ve captivated crowds with their dynamic stage presence and a sound that fuses soul Chicago blues, boogie, and rock ‘n’ roll with a voice where Ray Charles, Van Morrison, and Billy Gibbons meet in the middle. They’ve opened for Bonnie Raitt, the Tedeschi Trucks Band, jammed with the legendary Buddy Guy and even picked up a fan in Elwood Blues himself – Dan Aykroyd! – who hailed their “Hot rhythm and blues.”
They’ve sold over 100.000 physical albums and surpassed 32 million streams over the past two decades with fourteen albums, including eight studio; From the Heart (2006), Here I Am (2007), Track Record (2010), Dust & Scratches (2012), the multi-award-winning Too Many Roads (2014), Change My Game (2017), Come On In (2020), Navigation Blues (2022) and House of Sticks (2025) as well as a Best Of (2021).

Australian death doom outfit Mammon’s Throne recently announced the release of their third full length My Body to the Worms on 13th March, 2026 via Hammerheart Records. Today, the band unveil the second new track and video for ‘Departed’, an homage to the 90s gothic western showcasing the band’s love and inspiration for acts such as (early) Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Wayfarer and Fields of Nephilim.
Mammon’s Throne comment on the track and video: “Halfway through writing the album, Amesh brought 3 bar chords into the studio and the beginning of ‘Departed’ was born.
“Without any planning, the song progressed into a doomy, gothic, western ballad. An atmosphere the band had always wanted to explore, given our love of Fields of the Nephilim, Nick Cave, Wayfarer and the Watain song “They Rode on”. It began to build intensity which culminates in a black metal crescendo, which is a great representation of what Mammon’s Throne is all about – genre splicing.
“The lyrics focus on selfishness and self-pity through the eyes of a character who cuts people out of their life while convincing themselves it’s the right thing to do. Matthew has always wanted to translate his love of early Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds into a Mammon’s Throne song and that along with other dark country influences heavily influenced ‘Departed”s opening vocal section.
“We wanted dramatic – and Amesh‘s guitar solo completely smashes the assignment and sets up the chaotic ending to this song.
“The music video for this one essentially wrote itself. We wanted to capture the gothic western vibe and have it mirror the intensity of the song. Johnny took up the director role and took heavy inspiration from 90s music videos when piecing this together.“
Track-list: 1. Senseless Death 2. Clandestine Unholy Rites 3. Elixir 4. Every Day More Sickened 5. At the Threshold of Eternity 6. An Angel’s Grace 7. Departed
After relentless gigging and the success of their 2020 debut album Forward Unto Flame, Mammon’s Throne have established themselves as a force to be reckoned within the Australian live music scene. They followed this up with an epic offering of extreme doom on their self-titled release in 2023. This album saw the band fully embrace the death-doom and black metal aspects of their sound and was met with great admiration by listeners and reviewers.
On the back of the strength of their live performances and respect within the local music community, the band have supported multiple international touring acts such as My Dying Bride, Pallbearer, Conan, Triumph of Death and Rotting Christ to name a few and have done a run of shows in Japan in 2024.
Mammon’s Throne have signed with Hammerheart Records to release their third album My Body to the Worms, which is due on the 13th of March 2026 and represents their most ambitious work to date. The band effortlessly weaves elements of death metal, black metal, doom metal and more to create an engrossing and narrative atmosphere with poignant and memorable lyrics, intricate guitar work and diverse vocal styles that are sure to keep listeners coming back time and time again.
We are incredibly excited to share the first single from our new project, VIBRATIONISTS.
While we’ve always pushed boundaries as Starlite & Campbell, VIBRATIONISTS is born from a different spark. When we meet inspirational musicians, we don’t just want them to play on a track; we want to see where a third influence will take us. It’s about stepping onto a path without knowing the destination—and that experience is priceless.
The debut single, a live reimagining of It Ain’t Right, is a true fusion of energies. Produced by Simon Campbell, the track features a deep collaboration between Simon, Suzy Starlite and Northern Irish bodhrán master Dave Boyd.
The Groove of the Unknown
The philosophy is simple: what happens if you take a song and infuse it with a totally different musical DNA? If you recorded with James Gadson on drums or Thom Yorke on loops, the groove would shift in ways you couldn’t predict. That’s the Vibrationist spirit. By bringing Dave’s unique percussive language into the mix, we’ve created a sound and a feel that is fresh, unexpected, and entirely different from the original version released on our second studio album, The Language of Curiosity.
Recorded Raw
To capture that immediate, unrepeatable spark of inspiration, we recorded the track and video LIVE at the Supertone SonicLab. There are no overdubs—just the sound of three musicians inspiring each other in real-time.
VIBRATIONISTS is a wide-open door. We don’t know what will happen next, and that’s exactly why we’re doing it.
The Video
Recorded live at the Supertone SonicLab, the official video edited by Starlite intercuts live footage with vibrant imagery, building on the visuals of the song’s inherent tension to expand the visual and sonic experience.
It Ain’t Right – LIVE! is available on all streaming platforms from 6th February, 2026.
We are proud to release independently produced music where we maintain our artistic freedom.
Linkwells have released their new single, the delightfully melodic indie rocker ‘Pushing Me Away‘, out on Flip Flop Records.
The band comment on the track: “Pushing Me Away is a deeply emotional track that explores the struggle of connecting with someone who’s emotionally distant, while also reflecting on the broader theme of fitting into society. The song touches on the challenges of opening up in a world where vulnerability can feel risky and how emotional barriers often keep us from forming deeper connections. With a hopeful message of patience, understanding and growth, it emphasises the transformative power of vulnerability in building trust and healing relationships.”
Linkwells – Four seasoned musicians, one unified sound. Hailing from the scenic town of Malvern, Linkwells are a four-piece indie-rock band who are gaining attention for their distinctive sound. Blending experience and a shared love for melody, their sound is a seamless mix of influences, combining the anthemic energy of Britpop with a modern indie edge, earning them comparisons to iconic bands like The Stone Roses and Oasis.
Recently signed by Nick Brine’s Flip Flop Records, Linkwells are gaining significant momentum and are looking to increase their recorded output through the next few months.
With five singles and an EP released so far, Linkwells have already captured the attention of listeners worldwide, gracing the airwaves of Britain, Europe, Australia, Indonesia, Canada, and the US, reflecting their broad appeal and genuine sound. Known for their rocking live performances, they’re making a name for themselves with energetic shows that showcase their powerful sound. With exciting plans for the future, they’re just getting started – so keep your ears tuned for what’s next.

Hull’s 60s-infused garage-psych outfit The Velvet Tuxedo return with their blistering new single ‘Buzz The Scuzz’, recorded at Magic Garden Studios with acclaimed producer Gavin Monaghan (Editors, The Sherlocks, Ocean Colour Scene, The Twang).
‘Buzz the Scuzz’ is a furious garage-psych rallying cry about dropping out of the system and rejecting the “9-to-5 brainwash machine. The track opens with an eastern tambura drone and a swirling reversed-guitar line that builds a tense psychedelic mood before the full riff kicks in, tearing through the speakers with pounding drums, snarling vocals, and a valve driven riff made to ignite a riot. ‘Buzz The Scuzz’ is a made-up phrase symbolising the band’s ethos: fuck the plan, ditch the script, dig the fuzz, and follow your own road.
‘Buzz The Scuzz’ channels the wild electricity of The Who, the proto-punk bite of MC5, and the acid-drenched swirl of The Seeds, The Pretty Things, and 13th Floor Elevators and drags it kicking and screaming into present day. Frontman Will Reid calls it: “Our drop-out anthem – two fingers up to conformity. It starts with that hypnotic drone and then erupts into something driving and defiant. It’s about breaking free from the conveyor-belt life we’re sold and choosing your own path really.”
The Velvet Tuxedo fuse 1960s Freakbeat, Garage, Psych and R&B into a sound steeped in nostalgia yet free from pastiche. They stand as torchbearers of a style that is both timeless and refreshingly alive. Often described as a “word-of-mouth band,” The Velvet Tuxedo thrive on the underground scene, where their explosive, high-octane live shows have earned a reputation for unpredictability, rawness and a guitar-driven attack that hits with ferocity.
As a statement of intent, this new single announces The Velvet Tuxedo as a band rooted in the spirit of ’68, yet fearlessly committed to pushing that energy into the present.
Upcoming shows:
14th Feb – Hull Adelphi, support for China Shop bull 7th March – March of the Mods day festival in Redcar
The Velvet Tuxedo are: Will Reid – frontman/guitar Jimmy Rustill – lead guitar Robert Frost – drums Alfie Snow – bass
