STELLAR CIRCUITS Release New Single ‘Stargazer’

Progressive metal standouts STELLAR CIRCUITS have returned with their powerful new single, ‘Stargazer,’ marking the band’s third new release in as many months and continuing an impressive creative streak that has showcased the group’s evolving sound.

Following the releases of ‘Spotlight’ and ‘Wounded Healer,’ ‘Stargazer’ finds STELLAR CIRCUITS once again balancing crushing heaviness with soaring melody, cinematic atmosphere, and deeply introspective songwriting. The result is one of the band’s most dynamic and emotionally resonant tracks to date.

A brooding exploration of obsession, self-reckoning, and the pursuit of truth, ‘Stargazer’ captures the tension between illusion and reality. Anchored by massive riffs and an expansive progressive chorus, the song navigates the feeling of constantly being too late or too soon, ultimately arriving at a simple but profound realization: the only person capable of saving you is yourself.

Released in late 2025 to widespread praise from fans and critics alike, Phantom :: Phoenix represented a defining moment for STELLAR CIRCUITS, showcasing the band’s ability to merge progressive complexity, crushing heaviness, and cinematic atmosphere with deeply personal songwriting. Exploring themes of rebirth, perseverance, and self-discovery through tracks such as ‘I See Your Spirit,’ ‘Corridor,’ and ‘Bury The Ashes,’ the album further cemented the band’s reputation for crafting emotionally resonant music without sacrificing technical prowess or intensity.

Building on that momentum, STELLAR CIRCUITS have spent 2026 on an impressive creative run, releasing a trio of standalone singles—’Spotlight,’ ‘Wounded Healer,’ and now ‘Stargazer.’ Each release has further expanded the band’s sonic palette while reinforcing the dynamic songwriting and emotional depth that continue to define their evolution.

Later this year, STELLAR CIRCUITS will embark on an extensive European headline tour with EVERGREY and IGNEA, bringing their latest material to fans across the continent.

DEVILDRIVER Teach Hard Lessons on Vicious Title Track Video ‘Strike and Kill’ of Upcoming Album

“Well see how long you last…”

Following frontman Dez Fafara’s recent takeover of SXM’s Liquid Metal, DEVILDRIVER’s campaign of carnage continues with the release of the bloodsoaked title track off their explosive new record Strike and Kill, out this Friday via Napalm Records. Easily one of the most vicious tracks on the album, the band gleefully hurls listeners through a pulverizing blend of maximalist virtuosity and bone crushing slam riffage. Melodeath, slam, groove, and thrash, everything that the band has built their lasting legacy on emerges in vibrant shades of red: a soundtrack to the slaughter.

About the track, frontman Dez Fafara states:
“‘
Strike and Kill” is a song about individuals that have to learn lessons the hard way. Sometimes in life, you need to learn things the hard way in order to make your next decision or next move properly. Beware the moves you make at midnight behind emotion and without any thought of consequence. For you will learn lessons, and they will be taught to you the hard way.”

DEVILDRIVER has been on a menacing mission since first announcing Strike and Kill, with both lead singles dominating the Metal Contraband charts, spinning frequently on SXM’s Liquid Metal (hitting Number 2 on the Devils Dosen), effectively quenching the bloodthirst of their longstanding devotees, who have proclaimed it a glorious return to form for the California groove metal legends. Honoring the album’s title, DEVILDRIVER remains tactically vicious, and uncompromisingly brutal.

Pre-Order Your Copy of Strike and Kill HERE

Following DEVILDRIVER’s career defining double album Dealing With Demons Vols. 1 & 2—with Vol. 1 sitting at #1 at metal radio for a triumphant 15 weeks, and Vol. 2 celebrated by internationally revered media like Metal Injection, Kerrang!, and Blabbermouth, who lauded “you can’t stop the unstoppable”—the band sets out on a rabid hunt with Strike and Kill, holding the blade to your throat, and serving up that trademark DEVILDRIVER blend of melodeath elegance, blackened atmosphere, tectonic grooves, and Fafara’s iconic visceral delivery.

Wasting no time, the album bursts open with the incendiary “Dig Your Own Grave”, a flurry of assault rifle kicks and crunchy riffs encircle the listener casting them into the waiting abyss before transitioning into “Dead in the Water”, showcasing the vibrant melodeath tapestries of master guitar duo Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold. “Sanctified In Scars” implements industrial pulsating beats and ethereal sonic textures, sanctifying Fafara’s venomous voice with blackened tremolo excellence. The album’s title track “Strike and Kill” is a reconciliation of hardships and lessons learned, built upon the backs of blisteringly technical riffage and dizzyingly swift drumming by Davier Perez. Tracks like “In the Moonlight” and “Never Coming Home” wrap listeners in serenely blissful guitarmonies, elevating the brutality with elegance and emotion. “Ride or Die” unleashes pure metal inertia, pulling listeners in with unrelenting force. Exemplifying their technical edge with tracks like “Headed for the Fall” and “You’re just a Ghost”, the band embraces mindbendingly off-kilter patterns that spin listeners’ heads. “Summoning Shadows” offers the albums longest respite from carnage, with textured acoustic guitars building tension before the band comes crashing back in with triumphant power. “Shut the Silence On” and “Oath of Iron” get super thrashy with their ballsy riffage and blast beats, before “All Bets are Off” brings things to a cataclysmic conclusion.

More on CORROSION OF CONFORMITY:

Back in 2018, when No Cross No Crown dropped like a rock ‘n’ roll atom bomb, the tried-and-true CORROSION OF CONFORMITY line-up of Pepper Keenan (vocals, guitar), Woody Weatherman (guitar), Reed Mullin (drums), and Mike Dean (bass) was still going strong. Four brothers united in a decades-long history kicked off by a roving pack of teenage punks in Raleigh, North Carolina circa 1982.

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s first four albums left a permanent mark on headbangers, longhairs, and street punks everywhere: Underground classics Eye For An Eye (1984) and Animosity (1985) followed by slightly more overground bangers Blind (1991) and Deliverance (1994). By the time CORROSION OF CONFORMITY carved off No Cross No Crown nearly a quarter century later, they were legends in their own time, revered by two generations of punk, metal, and rock fans.

Then tragedy struck: In January 2020, Reed Mullin left this earthly plane. It was a devastating blow, both personally and professionally. How do you replace a brother? You can’t. All you can do is soldier on in his memory. Which is what the rest of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY did – until COVID-19 shut down the globe. Then Mike Dean decided to go his own way. It was an amicable split, but it left Pepper and Woody to contemplate their next move. They hunkered down at Keenan’s place in Mississippi, listening to all the music they love. Discharge. ZZ Top. Motörhead. Neil Young. Black Sabbath.

They started writing. They didn’t stop. In fact, they composed a massive double album. The concept happens to be the title of the record. It’s called Good God / Baad Man. “Our producer, Warren Riker, kept calling it Dark Side Of The Doom,” recalls Pepper. “In my head, it’s a weird love letter to all things rock ‘n’ roll. We used that for the freedom to go in different directions. Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity. Good God leans toward the heavier/pissed end of the spectrum. Baad Man is more on the throwdown rock scope. As we went along, it became clear which songs went on which album.”

They brought in drummer Stanton Moore, who played on CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s 2005 album, In The Arms Of God. They brought in bassist Bobby “Rock” Landgraf, who did time with Pepper in New Orleans heavyweights Down when he wasn’t terrorizing the locals in his own band, Honky. “With a lot of these songs, we’re trying to make Reed Mullin proud,” Pepper says. “He was a badass, and a one-of-a-kind drummer. And the stakes were high.”

Pepper Keenan – guitar, vocals
Woody Weatherman – guitar
Stanton Moore – drums
Bobby Landgraf – bass

PRONG to Unleash Self-Titled Album on November 6th

In their four decades of domination, New York alternative metal legends PRONG, have remained a respected force in the scene, gigging doggedly around the world—becoming mainstays at seminal festivals like Wacken and Brutal Assault—and unleashing a steady stream of classic albums dominating TV, radio, and streaming throughout their tenure.

Today, they announce their incendiary Napalm Records debut and mission statement, Prong, which will be unleashed unto the public on November 6, 2026. Honoring the band’s legacy, this new album packs 11 galvanizing haymakers, encompassing elements of industrial, thrash, alternative rock, and, of course, New York Hardcore.

About the album, frontman Tommy Victor said:
“This could be the best PRONG album to date. It’s definitely the best sounding PRONG album ever, with the incredible Andy Sneap mixing and mastering it! This record represents a new lease on life for PRONG with a new label, a fresh attitude with faster and heavier songs, bigger hooks and top-notch sound quality. That’s why it’s self-titled; it’s a redefining episode for PRONG!”

Of the plethora of legends born from the primordial ooze bubbling at New York’s most iconic punk club, CBGBs, there is only one PRONG. Forming during the venue’s late 80s renaissance period alongside hardcore legends like Gorilla Biscuits, Madball, Sick Of It All, and Biohazard, PRONG set themselves apart with melodic sensibility on formative records like Beg To Differ (1990) and Cleansing (1994), becoming mainstays on the iconic MTV’s “Headbangers Ball”. With their boundary pushing fusion of classic New York Hardcore, infectious grooves, and industrial textures PRONG laid the foundation for numerous styles of post-hardcore like groove metal, industrial metal, and crossover thrash.

Order Your Copy of Prong HERE

As the band’s mission statement, Prong incorporates the well of styles their legacy is built on. Blistering thrash sections, open into lush choruses on opening anthem “The Banner”, before somehow pushing the intensity even further on “New Commission”. “The Uprising” reintroduces the band’s industrial edge, weaponizing textured synths over a pulsating two-step, before “Uncertain Truth” flexes its melodic chops, offering a transcendently sweet hook. Immediately the band dropkicks listeners in the chest with the pummeling “Fear The Sun” inciting classic New York Hardcore pit violence. Iconic vocalist and guitarist Tommy Victor’s chops come out in full swing on “Proportionate Response”, a smoldering incitement of retaliatory justice, before the blistering kicks of “Simulated Drowning” propel us forward. Album closer “Our Continuance” brings things to a cataclysmic close with its menacingly methodical pulse and pummelingly discordant breakdowns, tied together with a lush chorus amplified with swelling synth textures.

With Andy Sneap at Backstage Studios for mixing and mastering, the album sounds crisp and punchy, Victor’s biting lyrics confrontational and infiltrating, driving listeners to contemplate complex matters like the validity of truth, self-inhibitors, and altruism. Dynamically bold, ideologically driven, and melodically infectious, Prong honors their legacy, reminding us why the band has had such a successful longevity.

FIMBUL WINTER Unveil New Single ‘When The Sun Comes Out At Night’, Ft. Johan Lindstrand

Melancholic aggression and intensity await in the new single release, “When The Sun Comes Out At Night” featuring Johan Lindstrand (THE CROWN). With a line-up formed of three previous members of AMON AMARTH, and completed with Clint Williams, FIMBUL WINTER embarks on greater exploration and development of melodic death metal. This latest endeavor follows the band’s previous single “Crowned In Ash” and the 2025 debut EP What Once Was.

“When The Sun Comes Out At Night” descends into a thunderous, high-speed onslaught driven by incessant riffs and untamable percussion. Fiercely melodic, entwining guitars traverse alongside the anguish-fueled harsh vocal performance from Clint Williams and guest vocalist Johan Lindstrand (THE CROWN). The shadowy atmosphere, brutal in nature, obtains a heroic, victorious quality as it reaches its end.

Lyrically, “When The Sun Comes Out At Night” explores the loss of stability experienced upon seeing reality too clearly. This awakening of truth, of knowing, becomes disorientating as it dismantles what was once certain.

Forging a sound that is heavy, melodic and atmospheric, FIMBUL WINTER honor the legacy of their death metal foundations producing music that feels familiar yet is modern in its approach. Drawing from their knowledge and experience in AMON AMARTH, and expanding further their artistic boundaries, FIMBUL WINTER brings power, energy and vehemence into all of their sonic offerings.

Drums and guitars on “When The Sun Comes Out At Night” were recorded at Studio Fluff Vasteras with engineer Andreas Moren while vocals were recorded at Witching Hour Audio and engineered by Shaun Farrugia. Bass performance on the track was performed by Risa Andersson, and mixing and mastering was completed by Marko Tervonen at Studio-MT. The cover artwork for “When The Sun Comes Out At Night” was created by Katarzyna Urbanek.

About FIMBUL WINTER:

Comprised of three former members of AMON AMARTH, including founding members Niko Kaukinen and Anders Biazzi, FIMBUL WINTER strive to redefine melodic death metal. Based out of Stockholm, Sweden and Melbourne, Australia, FIMBUL WINTER formed in 2023 building upon their roots and the members’ legacies in Swedish death metal.

FIMBUL WINTER’s beginnings grew from a spontaneous reunion performing AMON AMARTH’s 1994 demo titled The Arrival Of The Fimbul Winter. The instant connection between the musicians ignited a desire to create something new that captured the essence of Swedish death metal in an updated style that is clean and modern without being polished to its detriment. 2025 brought this vision to life with the unveiling of the ensemble’s first EP, What Once Was.

The new single releases, “Crowned In Ash” and “When The Sun Comes Out At Night”, mark the band’s continuing trajectory. FIMBUL WINTER push their compositional creativity while striving to remain truly authentic to a sound they helped to craft.

FIMBUL WINTER Is:
Niko Kaukinen – Drums
Fredrik Andersson – Guitars
Anders Biazzi – Guitars
Clint Williams – Vocals

Swedish AOR-influenced hard rock band NESTOR reveal the next single off the upcoming live album Live at Gothenburg Film Studios (out August 14, 2026 via Napalm Records)! The band brings the heat with a live rendition of their track “Firesign”, originally from the 2021 debut album Kids in a ghost town that was nominated for a Swedish Hard Rock/Metal Grammis Award. Catchy riffs and rhythms carry the heavily ’80s-inspired, authentic sound that is topped with impressive rock vocals.

NESTOR entered charts internationally with their 2024 studio offering Teenage Rebel (including #12 on Official German Album Charts and #19 in Sweden), and the band has played to ecstatic live audiences from Europe to the US and Japan. With Live at Gothenburg Film Studios fans around the world finally get to experience NESTOR‘s exciting live energy also on record. “Firesign” arrives with a striking live video, offering another taste of even the special Blu-ray edition that will be included in one of the album formats. Check it out below and make sure to pre-order your copy!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
”Where the flames meet the sky! ‘Firesign’ is always a highlight when we play it live and it has some kind of energy that is hard to put your finger on. Turn it up – break the rules and follow the Firesign wherever it leads.”

Pre-Order Your Copy of Live at Gothenburg Film Studios NOW

Live at Gothenburg Film Studios treats fans old and new to a hefty selection of live versions of future classics from NESTOR‘s celebrated catalogue. The nostalgia-drenched track “Teenage Rebel” (title track of the latest studio album, 2024) gets audiences singing along without a failure with its irresistible chorus that is accompanied with emotion-loaded melodies and massive riffs. Further highlights of this extensive, 16-track offering include a live rendition of one of the biggest NESTOR hits to date, “On The Run” (also from the praised debut Kids in a ghost town, 2021).

This comprehensive live album, available even with a special Blu-ray, draws from NESTOR‘s impressive repertoire of arena-worthy anthems and rock ballads, polished with the very best AOR and classic 80s rock influences. Without a doubt, NESTOR continue their steady mission to restore the glory of rock!

Vocalist Tobias Gustavsson comments:
“When I listen to Live at Gothenburg Film Studios it becomes clear to me that it shows everything that NESTOR was about, from the beginning. A live performance with all the little quirks and mistakes that makes it human, a thing that I have learned to love even more in an era of AI generated music. Live at Gothenburg Film Studios is less clinical and more of a human experience in comparison to our studio albums and shows a different side of NESTOR. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did recording it up on stage.”
