The Dark, featuring Of Mice & Men guitarist Craig Johns Jr, have released their sophomore single ‘Slip Away’.

The band comment: “Our first song, ‘Chemicals’ was about coping in an unhealthy way. ‘Slip Away’ is the natural progression of that. It’s the next part of the story. It’s losing yourself in your habits until you become unrecognizable. It’s the pain when you come-to. It’s self awareness and it’s hurt. ‘Slip Away’ is struggle you face when you meet yourself where you’re at. It’s the pain when you look in the mirror honestly. It’s a rude awakening.

On the video they continue: “When I wrote the video for ‘Slip Away’, it was important to me I tell the story of the song, whereas ‘Chemicals’ was more a day-in-the-life sort of video. You have this person, bound to the injured version of themselves… connected as one and confined to a space they can’t escape. They separate and see their hurt before them. The bandages come off and it’s loud, it’s vulnerable… it’s unpredictable. Only through acceptance and embrace can they find peace, but even still, in a space they’ll never leave.”

Drawing inspiration from 1960s and 70s sci-fi culture, the band has crafted a mesmerizing sonic journey through space and time. With recurring riffs and unsettling leitmotifs connecting each track, “Clans Of The Alphane Moon” is a testament to the band’s unique blend of heavy, psychedelic doom.

UNTO OTHERS Announce North American Tour + Share ‘Pet Sematary’ Music Video

Portland, Oregon’s Unto Others released their triumphant new LP Never, Neverland last month and now, the band announce a North American tour in support of the album. This November and December, Unto Others will traverse the U.S. and Canada featuring stops in Spokane, Vancouver, Calgary, Louisville, Montreal, Los Angeles and more, with additional dates to be announced very soon. Unto Others‘ Gabriel Franco comments, “As many of you already know, 5 weeks ago our previously planned North American tour fell through. With very little time our excellent team has managed to keep us on the road. We are making a point on this run to hit cities we do not travel to very often, or have never played at all. There are still a few TBA’s right now, but we will keep you updated as we finish up the booking process. This will be our first headlining tour of the USA in 3 years, so expect a long set that covers our entire catalog, in small sweaty venues. If you don’t see your town here, we have plans to hit as many major U.S. cities as we can in 2025. Until then, thanks for your support.“

The wait is over; Sweden’s goth metal pioneers Tribulation are proud to announce that their highly anticipated sixth studio album, ‘Sub Rosa in Æternum,’ is out everywhere today via Century Media Records! The nine new tracks on ‘Sub Rosa in Æternum’ takes the audience on a suspenseful journey of goth rock, and it is part psychological horror of Italian cinema, part gaunt British goth, and part Art Deco opulence. In celebration, the band is now sharing the artistic music video for the single “Poison Pages,” which can be found HERE.

Guitarist Adam Zaars comments on the album release, “It’s finally getting released! This album is really special to us and we’re all very proud of what we managed to create, with invaluable help from both Tom Dalgety and Ola Ersfjord. Artistically, we’ve always been on the move, sometimes in a big way and sometimes to a lesser extent, but we knew we had to do something different with this album. We didn't know what, but luckily the album gradually revealed itself to us. We hope you’ll enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!”

IMPOSTOR AD Release Live Video for ‘The Edge’

Impostor A.D. is a juggler, charlatan, fraudster and con artist, i.e. Kamil (Afterload, ex-Fateborn) on guitar, Pavulon (Antigama, Batushka, ex-Vader) on drums, Toper (Exlibris, Afterload, Whorrecane) on bass and Mikołaj from the long forgotten Lublin underground on vocals.

Polish death/groove metal band Impostor A.D. presents a live video to the song “The Edge” recorded at Warsaw’s VooDoo club during a concert with Antigama and Terrodome as part of the Grind the Thrash Tour.

“The track “The Edge” is a sour conclusion from what can be noticed in the poses of the surrounding modernity. It is a two-handed, sweeping fuck aimed at the fattening kings of lies. The edge is getting closer. If a loud injection of “The Edge” helps you straighten your middle fingers towards what pisses you off – always something and… somehow lighter for a moment.” – Kamil comments.
