2025 will not only mark the 45th anniversary of German iconic metal institution, Grave Digger, but the release of their 23rd studio album “Bone Collector”, that is slated for a release on January 17, 2025 via ROAR!

Founded in 1980 in Gladbeck, they set out to conquer the world; who would have thought that 45 years later Grave Digger would be one of the most important, consistent and influential metal bands from Germany. With the release of their ground-breaking debut “Heavy Metal Breakdown” in 1984, an unprecedented career began that will find its logical continuation more than four decades later with the band’s much-waited new masterpiece “Bone Collector”, an album that sees the band going back to their old school roots. The album can be pre-ordered at this location: https://gravedigger.rpm.link/bonecollector

After Grave Digger already shared some first promising album appetizers, “Kingdom Of Skulls and “Killing is my Pleasure”, today, the band aws fans with an unholy pre-Christmas gift and premieres a music video for their latest single “The Devils Serenade”!

Charismatic frontman Chris Boltendahl comments:

“We are proud to present the brand new Grave Digger video “The Devil’s Serenade”! This groovy anthem is a real banger that captures the essence of heavy metal and 80s stadium rock in every riff and every line. We went all out to write a song that is equally infectious, banging and takes you on a little journey through the band’s history.

The clip is a perfect mix of gripping atmosphere and pure energy – a feast for all those who have metal in their blood! We are thrilled with the result and can’t wait to bring this anthem to the stage with you. Turn it up loud and be ready to rock the hell out with us!”

“The Devils Serenade” is out now and streaming on all digital services via: https://gravedigger.rpm.link/devilsserenade

Produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Boltendahl, optically set in scene by Brazilian artist Wanderley Perna, “Bone Collector” marks a work of art that heralds a new Grave Digger era.

“Here it is at last, our new studio album, true to the motto: #gravediggeroldschool. With Tobi Kersting in the band, we have focused on the essentials of our sound again after many years with numerous concept albums: Concise straightforward metal songs that burn themselves into your brain stems after the first listen. “Bone Collector” doesn’t sound like off-the-shelf stuff, but highly energetic, fresh and you’ll notice that we had a lot of fun with the songs. We’re looking forward to your reaction, the release of the album in January and 45 years of Grave Digger live with you,” Boltendahl recently said.

“Bone Collector” will be released as a CD digipak, picture vinyl, colored marbled vinyl, RPM exclusive splatter vinyl and digitally. At the RPM & ROAR Mailorder Shop, the limited splatter vinyl and the digipak are also available as a bundle with the exclusive “Old School” shirt. In support of “Bone Collector” and their 45th anniversary, the band will embark on an extensive tour in early 2025, with many more dates to follow. Find all upcoming concerts listed below!

DEATHLESS LEGACY Reveal Details of Upcoming Album “Damnatio Aeterna”

Deathless Legacy will release the new album “Damnatio Aeterna” on March 7 through Scarlet Records.

Driven by Steva’s unholy, malevolent and sexy voice, the ominous tones of a church organ, and the fierce occult metal riffs, Deathless Legacy deliver a sound that hits hard and stands apart. This is horror metal at its most unapologetic.

“Damnatio Aeterna” tells the thrilling story of the lesser demon Malchrum, who is challenged by Lucifer to ensnare a priest in an unspeakable sin, thereby ensuring his eternal damnation.

A dark and provocative journey faithful to the band’s signature style and filled with an atmosphere of mystery that grows progressively tense as the story unfolds, the seventh Deathless Legacy studio album will finally delve into sophisticated themes and explore the true nature of evil.

Recorded at Eden Studios; mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio; eerily illustrated by the visual artist and band’s leader & drummer Andrea Falaschi (Delain, Elvenking, Temperance), “Damnatio Aeterna” will be released in the following formats: digipack CD, digital.

(stay tuned for the announcement of the Collector’s Edition, a limited-edition release for the most devoted fans)

Aexylium are excited to share the news of their upcoming third album, “Myth of Mankind”, a record that introduces a renewed sound and creative direction for the band. Building on the journey started with their previous release, “The Fifth Season”, this album delves into new musical territory, highlighting the band’s evolution.

With the arrival of their new frontman, Sam Biganzoli, who brings a dynamic and versatile vocal style, and the talented Arianna Bellinaso, the album offers a fresh energy. “Myth of Mankind” combines powerful guitar riffs, grand orchestrations, and rich vocal lines with the signature melodies of flute and violin, elements that define Aexylium’s unique identity in folk metal.

Recorded by Davide Tavecchia at Twilight Studio, the album presents a production that emphasizes both intensity and detail. The visually striking artwork, designed by Gustavo Sazes, an artist known for his collaborations with Arch Enemy, Epica, Machine Head and more, perfectly complements the music’s depth and atmosphere.

Since forming in 2014, Aexylium has been a recognized name in the European metal scene, performing at festivals such as Dong Open Air, Montelago Celtic Festival, and Malpaga Folk & Metal, and sharing the stage with bands like Blind Guardian, Elvenking, Wind Rose, and Týr. With “Myth of Mankind”, they continue to expand their sound, creating music that resonates with fans of Eluveitie, Korpiklaani, and Amorphis.

Details about the release date will follow soon. With this album, Aexylium invite listeners to explore their most creative and dynamic work yet.

GODSLAVE Release New Single And Video ‘Rain’

GODSLAVE cover SAMAEL, excuse me? GODSLAVE were influenced by SAMAEL, SAY WHAT?

That’s what the five guys from Saarland are all about – 5 completely different guys with very different tastes and influences – united in what has characterised the band for 15 years – thrash metal with a positive attitude!

But Samael in particular… Bassist Mika was always fascinated by the Swiss band because they were so ‘different’. Mika has always been particularly impressed by ‘Rain’ and the cover of the song is impressive – certainly an unexpected choice, but also certainly a bombastic result. Singer Thommy puts his own stamp on the whole thing – Manni’s versatile leads provide the icing on the cake. What a stunner!

In 2023, GODSLAVE played together with SAMAEL at the ‘Baden in Blut’ festival and by then it was clear that the song had to be part of the tribute album ‘Champions’, which will be released with a whopping 20 songs on 21 February.

GODSLAVE have created their own landing page for their tour de force through their strongest influences, where you can find all the information about the journey and the background to the song selection: https://godslave.de/15years

SUNSET 99 Release New Single And Video ‘Sun’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on December 21, 2024
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: SUNSET 99. Leave a comment

Sometimes the hard times give rise to important relationships, that create inspiration and motivation.

“Sun”, the new SUNSET 99‘s single, was born in a time span during which all the band’s members were facing some complex adversities and it represents an anthem that encourages us to turn on our inner light, an invitation to find our authentic identity and shine again.

The video captures the essence of an evening spent with friends, without filters and masks, because spontaneity saves us from the darkest moments and from the conformism often imposed by the society: both the simplicity and the joy of living the present are the spark that keeps us alive.

The rhythm section and the guitars are inspired by legendary bands such as Queen and Red Hot Chili Peppers, while the warm and crystal clear voice taps into the captivating pop melodies, exuding a melancholic energy that’s coherent with the message of the song.

Sunset 99 is a Swiss Indie rock / pop band born in 2019.

The first line up included Alexx Romero (guitar and voice) and Gilles Fontana (drums); Leonardo Shine Palestini (bass guitar) and Christian Martinetti (lead guitar) joined the band after a while.

After the debut album “ UPSDWN” released in 2022 by Nova Era, the band parts ways with the vocalist and, after a transition phase with the singer Anissa Boschetti, welcomes the actual singer Alice Petronici.

Sunset 99 joins the roster of the Italian label Sorry Mom in 2024 and releases the first single “Sun”.

The band presents a happily melancholic sound inspired by the late 90s-early 2000 music that lingers between punk rock, hard rock and pop.
