Free Machine, a passion project comprised of four ex-musicians, has released the lyric video for their debut single, Broken Hands, from their recently released EP Dead Echoes. Influenced by the legendary grunge era of the 90s, the band has crafted a nostalgic and raw rock sound that pays homage to iconic groups like Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and Temple of the Dog.
Broken Hands taps into themes of self-worth and the courage to walk away from toxic situations, delivering an anthemic, grunge-driven experience. The track was inspired by the idea of receiving love that one may not feel worthy of, a reflection on mistreatment and the need to value oneself. The band originally drew inspiration from the mistreatment of dogs, pivoting the lyrics to a more universal message. “Value yourself, don’t expect less than you feel you deserve, and be brave enough to walk away if that’s what’s required to find happiness,” says vocalist Glenn Bradford.
Despite never being in the same room together, the members of Free Machine have managed to produce a cohesive and passionate EP, made possible through remote collaboration. The band—Glenn Bradford (vocals), Clint Jurgens (guitar), Bryan Nicol (drums), and Brendan Haupt (bass) credits their shared love for 90s grunge as the driving force behind their music. “We’re 90s kids, and grunge was the soundtrack to our lives. The musical landscape has changed, but our passion for that era hasn’t. This EP is our way of reliving that time and sharing it with like-minded rock fans,” adds guitarist Clint Jurgens .
Unlike most modern music projects, Free Machine exists solely for the love of the craft, with no grand marketing strategies or tour schedules in place. “There’s no bigger picture here, it’s all about creating music we would want to listen to,” Glenn explains. The band’s approach has been simple: to challenge themselves creatively and share their work with fans of true rock music.
JULIET’S NOT DEAD release storming new rocker ‘King And Queen’, out 7th November, new album ‘This World Is Ours‘ will be released on 7th February, 2025.
Main man Stevie Stoker says this about the single, “What I love about King & Queen musically is just how relentless it is. It just starts and is full on until the end. It’s a million miles an hour. Even when we were demoing it, you could feel how it would sound finished. It has this infectious energy about it that really reflects us as a band.
Musically its ‘feel good’ song but it also has a message behind it, that you should surround yourself with people who make you a better person but also accept you at your worst. We can’t all be 100% all the time. We will have our wild moments, our down moments we need the people around us to accept that and roll with it. Sometimes they will add to the madness, and sometimes they will be the calm we were looking for.”
About ‘This world Is Ours’, Stevie adds, “I love this album, not only do I think it’s the best music we’ve ever written, but it was also the most enjoyable writing and recording process I’ve ever been a part of. Jack & I wrote for most of 2023. We were even recording demos while on tour around Europe. From the get go we knew what we wanted to say with this collection of songs. As a band you come up against so many challenges and we wanted this album to reflect all of the emotions, difficult decisions, and strong bonds we’ve made over the last couple of years.
Getting the songs ready to record for the final time is always my favourite part of the process but also one of the most tricky. We demo them fully so every layer and part is where it should be and critique and change bits until we are happy with it. However it’s sometimes difficult to know when you’re done. Thankfully we had the right production team behind it. Approaching it with a clear view of what we wanted the final result to be. Romesh (Dodangoda) and the boys at Longwave made our job easy and we literally smiled and laughed our way through it. We hope anyone who hears it will hear the joy behind the music no matter the subject.“
Heralding from the North East, Juliet’s Not Dead are an adrenaline fuelled, driven band with the sole intention of thrilling their audiences at every show. Having just finished recording the follow up to the highly acclaimed debut album ready for release in February 2025, and if their latest EP ‘Only The Strong Survive’ is anything to go by; attitude filled riffs and a killer modern edge will be abundant.
The band have paired with mercury prize & Grammy nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda to set about crafting something special. Since the release tour for single ‘Don’t Play Nice’ in April 2022, JND have been crushing live performances with a truly unique visual show built in to a wall of Marshall cabs.
Just one way the JND boys have put a unique twist to a traditional staple of a rock show. After raising over £6k for music charities during the pandemic the boys took crowds by storm on two self-promoted UK headline tours in 2022, selling over 2000 tickets in the process. With single “secrets” getting to #1 in the iTunes rock charts as well as being track of the week on Planet Rock & also had significant air time on BBC, following similar success with previous releases, their stock is rising rapidly. As well as 2 UK support tours and countless festivals, 2023 saw the band tour all over Europe and play in a total of 11 countries, and they can’t wait for what is to come next!
Juliet’s Not Dead (formerly Twister) head out on a UK tour this Autumn under their new moniker, which will see them include their first new music since their 2022 EP ‘Only The Strong Survive’. Main man Stevie Stoker said of the name change, “This is probably the biggest decision we’ve ever made as a band, having gone under the Twister banner for so long. But following the completion of our new album with Romesh (Dodangoda, as producer) it just felt time to evolve, to kick it up, to create a brand that better represents our sound. It was hard to take the plunge but now it’s done it feels great. We love our new name and I now need another tattoo!” He added, “We will still be playing Twister songs, they are now just Juliet’s Not Dead songs and when coupled with the new material folks will see that growth and natural progression. These are exciting times for us, not that we were jaded or treading water but the new material sounds fresh and takes us to another level. Now we get to show our fans and hopefully gain some new ones too. We’ve spent so long perfecting this show and now we absolutely can’t wait to get out there and play for everyone.”

On the march to Beyond Unbroken‘sDestruction,“Dance With The Dead” is the next single to materialize ahead of the upcoming album.
Their latest single, “Dance With The Dead” is a fierce and energetic anthem that fuses hard rock intensity and borrows from their pop punk roots. The single delivers Beyond Unbroken’s signature fierce energy, while also introducing a cinematic depth, ensuring the track resonates with both longtime fans and new listeners alike.
The band, renowned for their history in the music industry and their evolution from pop-punk roots with Escape The Fate present a track that takes their signature sound to new, bold heights. “With our history in the music industry, particularly with our previous band, Escape The Fate, we were known for our pop punk and emo style creations, which today’s younger generation views nostalgically,” explains Beyond Unbroken. “When we released our first Beyond Unbroken EP, “Don’t Wake The Dead,” we incorporated that style, and our fans responded with incredible feedback, resulting in millions of plays. This inspired us to include a similar track on our album, leading to the creation of “Dance With The Dead.” The song is about wanting to feel alive and the muse felt when listening to your favorite song, reflecting how music helps us cope with emotions. For “Dance With The Dead,” we aimed for a big theatrical sound, avoiding a traditional breakdown in favor of a classical music piece with a neo-classical solo guitar, full orchestra, and choir. This innovative approach created a Tim Burton fantasy moment, making the song a standout on our album.”
Beyond Unbroken have announced their upcoming sophomore album Destruction is now available for pre-order from FiXT. Beyond Unbroken’s latest offering is a bold, genre-defying album that highlights the band’s versatility and creative prowess. The album releases on November 15.
Beyond Unbroken’s latest effort is poised to be their most diverse and ambitious work yet, featuring a dynamic mix of rock, metal, alternative, and pop punk influences and features a contribution from enigmatic rap vocalist Whitney Peyton. The album’s lead-up has been marked by a string of powerful singles, each showcasing the band’s ability to traverse and innovate across multiple genres. Destruction takes inspiration from everything from the TV show YOU, horror movies, life experiences, old-school digital Gameboy lead sounds inspired by video games like Pokémon and Donkey Kong, incorporating real finger snaps, a nod to Michael Jackson’s iconic use of the technique in “Oceans” to Hans Zimmer’s work on Interstellar for “Lost and Broken.”
As Destruction looms on the horizon, Beyond Unbroken continues to explore the human experience through their unique blend of genres. “Oceans” is a unique departure from their typical heavy sound, fusing elements of pop with alternative rock. “The Madness” a brutal hard rock deep dive into the dark recesses of our own mind and the demons we find there. “Lost and Broken” melds the intense energy of metalcore with the raw power of hard rock, infusing cyberpunk with doom metal elements. Switching gears and returning to their pop-punk roots, Beyond Unbroken’s “My Life” is a track brimming with hope and renewal. “Halo” features the rap vocal talents of Whitney Peyton, covering the narrative of a toxic love-hate relationship and featuring rap and trap elements alongside a soulful pop chorus.
As Beyond Unbroken continues to explore the human experience and push the boundaries of metal and rock, Destruction is shaping up to be an album that showcases their extreme versatility in production whether it be a chilled-out single or over top brutality. From brutal metal and rock to alternative and pop, this album promises to be a thrilling ride for fans and newcomers alike. This is Beyond Unbroken at their most intense and versatile yet.
In a world of boundaries Beyond Unbroken refuses to be defined by one genre. Founded by former Escape The Fate members, brothers Monte and Michael Money, the band habitually crosses the lines, mixing genres the way an artist mixes paint with results that often defy expectation. They released their first single “Under Your Skin” in 2015 and debuted their first independent EP Don’t Wake The Dead in 2017 with producer Matt Good of From First To Last. The EP was well received with the animated video “Overdose” earning millions of views upon release. Their first debut album, Running Out of Time, followed in 2020 with singles earning millions of streams and premiering on Alt Press.
On April 29, 2020, the band covered Lil Peep and Twenty One Pilots mashup, “Falling Down + Heathens” and it remains the band’s most streamed track to this day. In 2021 the band released a one-off single “With Or Without Me” on the FiXT Radium Compilation which eventually led to the band signing with the label in 2023.
Formed in 2010 in the city of Santa Maria (RS – Brazil), FINITA defines its style as Dark Metal, in order to try to give the public an immediate idea of its style, which contains diverse influences, ranging from Death, Gothic and Symphonic Metal, with compositions that bring themes of nature, alternating between lyrical, natural and guttural vocals. In the band’s words, they care more about artistic identity than about labels or styles.
With two EPs already released, “LIE” (2018) and “Above Chaos” (2022), the band is now preparing the release of its first full-length, “Children of The Abyss”, and has already released two singles and videos, one for the track “Gates of Oblivion” – which already has more than 42 thousand views on YouTube – and another for the song “Witch’s Laugh”, appropriately released on this Halloween, and whose video tells a story and ending that proved disturbing to some people.
A Brazilian band that is on the rise and this upcoming full-length will certainly take them to a higher level.
“Witch’s Laugh” is the second single of the upcoming album “Children of the Abyss” and it’s available in all streaming platforms.

Roman HUNGREY have released their first single and video for ‘Start to Forget’ on all digital platforms. The band is particularly excited about this production, presented in collaboration with METAL ZONE ITALIA, as it is a project deeply rooted in the history of Italian metal, particularly from Rome.
HUNGREY is indeed an offshoot of Messerchmitt, born from a desire to experiment and take risks while staying true to pure metal traditions, but leaning towards a decidedly more progressive sound.
HUNGREY lands in Rome in 2023, initially as a side project, but soon establishing itself as a stable and independent entity, shaping its sound into a Metal style influenced by various sources, with a clear nod to the early U.S. metal scene and progressive tendencies (bands like Queensryche, Fates Warning, Crimson Glory, etc.).
However, the project arose from the need to consolidate an artistic identity beyond genre and method constraints, attempting to produce music as a proposal rather than a response to demand. Influences, sound, lyrics, appearance, and promotional methods are all expressly aimed at this goal. Consequently, HUNGREY’s programmatic manifesto states:
“We are recalibrating oscillations – strong force 1 – small blue planet detected at 7411 ly – electromagnetic 1/137 – we are arriving. Dismantling observational artifacts – synchronous oscillation – weak force 10 to the -6 – We do not travel, we vibrate. Imminent contact. We are close – gravity 10 to the -39 – it is urgent to share interaction with sound – we are with you, in your universe, a single note of the Symphony. The exchange of Talents is urgent – your remaining time of existence is limited – we witness – we tell: for a fleeting harmonic interval, on a small blue planet, a species capable of shaping sound has lived. Your only testament is made of Music. Music is immortality, Music is power. United by Talent, we are here to create sound where none existed before. Particles and waves, oscillations and vibrations, mass, energy, space and time, everything resonates, everything vibrates, everything oscillates, the entire multiverse is Music.”
During the 2023-2024 period, HUNGREY is solidifying its lineup and focusing on composing enough material for an album. Throughout 2024, the band is concentrating on production (with vocal contributions from Ray Sperlonga) and recording (at NMG Studio in Palestrina, Rome) eight tracks. Among these, the first single, “Start To Forget,” has been selected, and a video for it is scheduled for release in November 2024. Following this, HUNGREY plans to release at least two more singles (Moth and Falling) before the album release, with these tracks also promoted through videos. The three videos, created by Tommaso Benvenuti along with colleagues from the film academy, are linked by a single storyline (inspired by the songs’ lyrics), divided into three acts, each set in different time periods. Thus, the videos form a trilogy, starting with “Start To Forget,” followed by a prequel (“Moth”) and a sequel (“Falling”).
The album (CD) titled “Hungrey” is set for release in early 2025, through Metal Zone Italia and Elevate Records.
Stabilized oscillation, assuming appropriate forms, neural mapping in progress. Thought, memory, and emotions at the service of sound. You are a deserving species; Music enhances your awareness, well-being, and mood; it affects your vital functions, yet you still do not fully exploit the potentials of transcendence. Betting on sound will be essential when, sooner or later, you find yourselves in the condition of survivors. Having lost all your artifacts, only Music will remain with you, in your mind, and it will be your collective memory to regain cohesion. You must be ready to make it a tool for survival. We have come to prepare you for this. A simple message in a common language. Music is origin, Music is journey, Music is purpose.
Charged with endorphins, let’s begin!
