THY KINGDOM WILL BURN will release the new album “The Loss And Redemption” on January 17th through Scarlet Records. PRE-SAVE/PRE-ORDER
After establishing themselves as one of the most interesting new bands of the Finnish melodic death metal scene with the first two records, Thy Kingdom Will Burn has definitely found a peculiar, moving voice.
“The Loss And Redemption” is by far their most personal work: musically-wise, the album is massive, pitch-black dark, and beautifully melancholic at the same time – once again the guys have pushed themselves to the next level as songwriters and musicians.
The lyrics deal with loneliness and longing to escape the chaos of modern life – something we can all easily identify with.
Thy Kingdom Will Burn are magnificent torchbearers of darkness & light, gloom & hope, in that quite unique Finnish fashion!

German atmospheric black metal act ASARHADDON has unveiled a mesmerizing new music video for the track ‘Im tiefen Wald’, taken from their latest full-length album, Êra, released on October 4th via Vendetta Records. Watch the video for ‘Im tiefen Wald’ here:
Êra, which translates to “crown” in Old Low Franconian, is a journey through time and emotion. The album weaves tales of four kings, drawing inspiration from historical events and evoking a sense of melancholy and longing. With its grand atmospheres and mournful hymns, ASARHADDON‘s music transports listeners to a world of forgotten beauty and sorrow.
The stunning album artwork, featuring the skulls of four birds, symbolizes the countries of origin of the four kings. This striking imagery was captured in a forest near the band’s hometown, further emphasizing their connection to nature and the past. Êra is out now on Vendetta Records and the album is available for purchaseHERE

November 29, 2024 sees Spanish dark heavy metal act DARK EMBRACE release their hotly anticipated, new studio offering, entitled “Land Of Witches” via Massacre Records. The album will be coming out as CD Digipak, Ltd. Vinyl LP and Digital formats, the pre-sale is available at this location: https://lnk.to/landofwitches
After DARK EMBRACE have just recently shared a first appetizer, the album opening track “We, The Witches”, today, the band is premiering a music video for their latest single “Orcavella”! The track is “about the legend of Orcavella. A witch who lived in Galicia long time ago.”The band explains.“The lyrics are really explicit about the legend and tell everything about it. The legend says that she came with the Pagans to Galicia and she practiced the dark arts. She fed on the residents of the area, and it was the reason the village became almost desert.
She lived in the area of Finisterre (the so-called Galician end of the world), and she killed herself when she was 176 years old. So, the people put a really heavy stone in her grave to prevent that she is coming back to life. Anyway, the grave was surrounded by snakes that were trying to catch people for her, who were near to the tomb.”
Featuring the darkest influences of their motherland Galicia (Terra de Meigas), their forthcoming album is called to be the highest step forward in DARK EMBRACE‘s career.
“Land Of Witches” was invoked using the powerful magick of the black arts, evoked by the disturbed minds of Oscar Rilo, Mou Trashno, Markos Villar and Julio G. Valladares. Among the dark arts used for the album are demon invocations by different kinds of chants, high noises by creepy distortions, low frequences by dead heartbeats and Pagan rhythms from hellish beating skins. The implemented work on this album shows a more complex and stronger band and even oversize the dark essence of their own style on a more mature way.
The band’s fourth studio album was mixed and mastered by Chris Clancy at Audioworks Production, with a cover art by Gustavo Sazes. Pre-order it now on: https://lnk.to/landofwitches

“There’s only one side when the one side is hate/ Getting on my bad side was the one way you relate/ I put my faith into your lie to my face/ Won’t pledge allegiance to your house of disgrace…” “Future of Youth” Lyrics by Sebastian Bach
SEBASTIAN BACH has released a new video—his fifth, from his current album CHILD WITHIN THE MAN—for “Future of Youth” with special guest performer, singer, songwriter and guitarist ORIANTHI. Watch the video for the musically explosive and lyrically unflinching single HERE.
“I am so excited to share this song and video with the world!” says the singer, songwriter, author, Broadway star, and actor. “This collaboration with my friend Orianthi began many years ago. The song ‘Future of Youth’ has always been very listenable to my ears due to the musicians involved and also the unbeatable combination of Elvis Baskette and Robert Ludwig. The chorus is something I could hear on the radio.”
In tribute to the song’s title, “Future of Youth” features the Las Vegas Academy Of The Arts Choir from BACH’s recently adopted hometown of Las Vegas.
“To have the Las Vegas Academy Of The Arts Choir perform and sing in the video makes my heart pound with emotion,” BACH says, “because I fell in love with singing in my own church choir many, many years ago. It has always been a dream of mine to have an actual choir in one of my rock videos—to have one of the top choirs in the country rock out in ‘Future of Youth’ is exactly what the message of the song is about. The Future of Youth belongs to the Youth and no one else!”
BACH adds, “Thank you so much to Orianthi for the amazing guitars and riffs and to the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Vocal Director Matthew Ostlie—I can’t thank you enough for all of your incredible performances! Thank you so much to my Record label Reigning Phoenix Music for making this happen!”
CHILD WITHIN THE MAN was recorded in Orlando, Florida; produced and mixed by Baskette; engineered by Jef Moll, assistant engineered by Josh Saldate; and mastered by Robert Ludwig/Gateway Mastering. BACH wrote or co-wrote all the album’s 11 tracks and sang all lead and backing vocals. CHILD WITHIN THE MAN features guest appearances from John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi—who all co-wrote their respective tracks with BACH—and two tracks co-written with Myles Kennedy (“What Do I Got to Lose?” and “To Live Again’); Devin Bronson on guitars, Todd Kerns (bass) and Jeremy Coulson (drums) round out the players on the album.
“Future of Youth” is the latest release from his CHILD WITHIN THE MAN album which has yielded four singles/videos, all of which have impacted the rock charts: Freedom,” “What Do I Got To Lose?,” “Everybody Bleeds,” and “(Hold On) To The Dream” along with the “(Hold On) To The Dream” alternate video. The new video is another collaboration between BACH and Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera. “This video is our fifth in a row with my friends Jim and Tony. Once again, they have blown my mind with their artistic vision,” BACH notes.

About Sebastian Bach:
With an inimitable presence as loud as his instantly identifiable voice, SEBASTIAN BACH has left a San Andreas Fault-size imprint on music, theater, film, television, and culture. Moreover, his influence only continues to magnify. He has penned and voiced some of the most iconic anthems in rock history, crafting a catalog highlighted by generational hits such as “18 and Life,” “I Remember You,” “Youth Gone Wild,” “Slave To The Grind,” “Wasted Time,” and “Monkey Business,” to name a few. He has made history as “the first heavy metal singer on Broadway” with a now legendary turn in Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical in addition to leading roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Jesus Christ Superstar. He has appeared in dozens of television series and films, ranging from “Trailer Park Boys” and “Robot Chicken” to “Spongebob Squarepants,” “The Masked Singer,” and “Hell’s Kitchen.” Speaking to his versatility, he’s the rare force of nature who can duet with Axl Rose and reprise a seven-season recurring role on “Gilmore Girls.”
Jimmy Kay from Canada’s The Metal Voice spoke to King Diamond’s guitarist Andy La Rocque and Bassist Pontus Egberg in Montreal, Canada at the MTELUS theater on Nov 2, 2024.
The two were asked about the inception of the two new tracks ‘Spider Lily’ and Electro therapy and about an update on the release of the bands new studio album.
When asked about the inception of ‘Spider Lily “That idea came up from King. I don’t know exactly when but he’s been working on it for quite a while. I think the lyrics for it got done just like a few days before the tour started actually. He sent me the basics of the song just a few days, like a week prior to the tour starting, I believe. So we had to learn it real fast, record it because we knew that we’re going to shoot it on video too. So it’s the newest song we have right now that we actually play Live. ‘Spider Lily’ is a mean girl who can also be good, we’ll see if it’s going to change a little bit. It’s a character part of the story that King is working on right now. It’s going to be released as a video single I don’t know when exactly. We also have other songs in the loop too, King has a lot of ideas and I have a lot of songs that’s kind of in the demo stage done or finished.” Andy La Roque
“Like Andy said, for us we only heard the rough demo of this song like a week before we headed over to the States and quickly had to learn it and record it. Now I think it’s been mixed.” Pontus Egberg
When asked when the new King Diamond Studio will be completed and released “We are still working on it and as soon as we get back from tour we’re going to have a little Christmas break and then we’re going to pick it up again. So the plan is to have everything done this spring (2025). It will be released shortly after the European summer Festival tour (2025) and all that that’s the plan we have.” Andy La Roque
When asked about their other new song ‘Electro therapy’ and its inception “It’s been around for a couple of years actually. I think I wrote the intro riff back in 2019. There have been some changes back and forth especially on the verse, trying to find the right key for King to sing on and all that stuff. I think what we have now is probably the final version and it’s going to end up on the album too. King is still working on some fine tuning on the lyrics, you will hear that tonight. It’s like different (lyric) versions every night. Andy La Roque
When asked if there were any plans to remix any of the older albums “I would love to do that but the problem is we don’t even know if (Masters) still exist or not. I would love to do it if we could find the tapes that would be awesome.”
Swedish avant-garde symphonic metal phenomenon LAMASHTUproudly announces their signing with Wormholedeath Records for the reissue of their critically acclaimed fourth album, Längtan (“Longing”). The album is set for a re-release on December 13th, 2024, marking a new chapter in the band’s mystic and powerful journey.
“The incarnation of Lamashtu is happy to be part of the Wormholedeath family,” said the band in a statement. ” We are proud of the album that we have made and all that it represents. It’s an honor to be able to spread the word further than ever before. We are confident that we have landed in a family that is equally embracing of the mysteries of life and arts as we are. Thank you!”
About Längtan (“Longing”): The Soundtrack to a Dark Saga
Längtan, originally released in 2024, showcases the band’s evolution, advancing their symphonic foundation while introducing compelling progressive elements. The album tells the haunting tale of Joar, continuing the saga first introduced in Tro (“Faith”). This rich narrative continues and explores the world of Eli world which starts in ancient Mesopotamia. Throughout the saga she encounters strange and mysterious creatures, bringing about a transformative journey together with demons and Joar by her side. This concept aligns with Lamashtu’s dark, mythical themes, centered on the demon goddess Lamashtu—patroness of the malformed and the wicked.
The story of Eli, which runs through both Tro and Längtan, was further expanded in a Swedish fantasy book, Eli. Available in over 50 libraries across Sweden, the novel marks the first of a planned trilogy.

Who is Lamashtu?
Lamashtu is a symphonic metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden, founded in 2015. Their music, sung in Swedish, combines heavy, atmospheric metal with complex symphonic arrangements. Central to the band’s identity is Lamashtu, a demon goddess and patroness of malformed creatures, whose mythos is deeply interwoven into their albums and stage performances.
Lamashtu’s story begins with her defeat of the god Curchanus, from whom she stole divine power, igniting a vendetta with the goddess Desna. This lore is presented across their discography, starting with their debut album Fallna Själar (“Fallen Souls”), which established their signature sound. Written and recorded in just a month, this album was driven by the importance of bass and a desire to create something unique.
In 2018, their second album, V.A.N.S.I.N.N.E.T. (“Insanity”), was released through Älvsång Production, refining their style with the addition of more “demons” who joined the band. Their third album, Tro (“Faith”), marked a turning point, introducing more melodic and symphonic elements while telling the story of Eli, a saga expanded through a standalone book.
The band’s fourth album, Längtan (“Longing”), added progressive touches while continuing the storyline, this time focusing on Joar, introduced in the tale of Eli. Despite some members departing, the current lineup of seven “demons” — Empusa, Ammit, Avarshina, Paimon, Azura, Purson, and Janus — continue to spread the dark, powerful message of Lamashtu’s reign, seeking to inspire mortals with strength, passion, and purpose.
The Call to the Mortals
As Lamashtu’s reign continues, they seek not just listeners, but fellow wanderers—mortals ready to embrace strength, passion, and purpose within the darkness. Their reissue of Längtan through Wormholedeath will mark a significant new chapter, one where their music and mythology can reach new shores, summoning more followers into their shadowy fold.
