After the complete failure that was ‘The Demon Who Makes Trophies of Men’, Dutch avant-garde death metal act THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT are -against all better judgment- once again working on new music.
They’ve abandoned the concept of short, trendy, radio-friendly songs and are returning to our roots: large-scale, mind-numbingly dull, pompous trainwrecks featuring semi-intellectual lyrics based on flopped sci-fi B-movies.

THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT is a blood-chilling super-spectacle and the ominous last sorry chapter in the once-proud musical landscape. Despite being nominated countless times for “the honourable Covid-escape” THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT stays relevant and like the most avanced shape-shifter, it reinvented itself musically countless times.

Girish And The Chronicles are pleased to unleash the new single “Fading Away”, another extract from the highly anticipated new album “Disintegrate”, set for release on November 20, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.
Girish Pradhan commented: “Fading Away” is perhaps one of the most intense songs on the album. If our very first release, “Angel”, were a movie built around the message “I don’t wanna fade away”, then this song would be its darkest chapter. A point in the story where the fight to hold on meets the feeling of being left behind by a world that has already moved on.”
“Another wasted sunset, my life flashes in front of my eyes… A time-lapse leading to my grave. But the world has already moved on… And I’ve been too blind to see… I don’t know whether it cares or not… But I know I feel distant to it. With “Fading Away”, we hope to reach those who have felt this way, reminding them that even in their darkest moments, they are not alone”, he added.
Over the last few years, Girish And The Chronicles have evolved from one of India’s best-kept hard rock secrets into a truly international force. Stockholm-based dark metal outfit THE VICE has released its brand-new single & video, “Heydays”. The track, out via Noble Demon, is the very first preview of the band’s upcoming studio album, which is currently in the final stages of completion.
Speaking about the song, THE VICE shares: “‘Heydays’ is a bastardized pop-song from our upcoming album. It’s got a very strong hook, a melody that the song centers around, which has some eerie ‘late summer nights’ -vibe to it that we found very interesting. With some classic The Vice-melancholy lurking underneath, it turned out quite a unique little piece of music.“
Since day one, THE VICE has always taken the roads less traveled, driven by a desire to carve out a place of their own within the scene.
And that grimy, wildhearted, metal/rock/pop fusion, with one foot firmly planted in the windswept, frozen North and the other cemented to the concrete of the streets, sure sounds like nothing else.
Dark, blackened metal, ferocious rock ‘n’ roll, posh punk and harsh, hardcore attitude; mixed with a huge dose of the cultural colossi of the 90’s such as Guns & Roses, Pantera, Prince, Grunge, Oasis, Neometal, Fight Club, The Matrix and Terminator 2 to name a few. All of that and everything in between and we’re probably as close as we’ll get, trying to describe the very essence of THE VICE.
It’s 2026 and the band is heading towards the legendary volume number four.
After the two EPs released last year, “Red Tape Sessions” and “A Great Unrest”, it is once again time to enter the big leagues. Dark folk/progressive project RAKINUA unveil the video for “Spirits of Waters”, a pivotal chapter in the unfolding narrative of their ritualistic universe. Released via Dusktone, a new digital EP accompanies the video, bringing together the album version of the song and two live recordings captured during the band’s September release show: “Spirits of Waters” and “Peaceful Night”.
RAKINUA comment:
“Every story of a dying world begins the same way: something that has always been there is suddenly gone.
In ‘Spirits of Waters’ the priestess walks the paths she has followed for years and finds dust where the rivers used to run. The spirits of the waters have abandoned them. Her tribe is dying of thirst, and she no longer asks, she commands. Everyone must gather. Oil and wine must be poured out, every last drop, and watch it darken the dry earth. Nothing is to be held back, because everything belongs to the gods.
This is the moment we find most unsettling in the story: where faith tips into desperation, and a prayer turns into a demand. We are only following the priestess as she walks toward the consequences.
On October 15 this new digital release brings the album version together with two live recordings from our September release show: ‘Spirits of Waters’ and ‘Peaceful Night’, as the Tribe played them that night. We wanted the songs next to the moment they came alive, with the room breathing with us. For us a ritual is only complete when someone else has heard it too.
Listen like someone standing on a dry riverbed, waiting to hear what comes back.”
The release follows “Esi Um Ninu – Heal Us, Mother!”, the project’s debut album, published last spring via Dusktone. RAKINUA‘s work draws upon archaeological knowledge, Etruscan symbolism and the evocative power of an ancient, forgotten tongue. Their music moves between dark folk ritualism and progressive intricacy, conjuring a world in which ancestral beliefs, human frailty and the inexorable course of fate intertwine.
With this new release, RAKINUA invite listeners to experience the story both as a carefully constructed studio work and as a living ceremony, preserved in the immediacy of a performance shared with an audience. The ritual has been performed; now its echoes return, carrying the weight of everything that has been offered, and everything that may already be lost.
DOMKRAFT release the sizzling track ‘Aurora‘ as the final advance single taken from their forthcoming new full-length “Night Songs“. The fifth album by the Swedish heavy psychedelic rockers is slated for release on November 20, 2026, via Magnetic Eye Records.

DOMKRAFT comment on ‘Aurora’: “This track revolves around two riffs, one sharp and airy, the other gravelly, muddy and downright dirty“, vocalist and bass player Martin Wegeland writes. “In a way, this song comes with a slightly new kind of groove for us. Then again, at the same time, it somehow connects all our albums into one track. ‘Aurora’ has all the lumbering beats, the open structures and the fist-clenching intensity that we aim for.“

Personal experience of any kind has always inspired artists. It is therefore hardly surprising that the traumatic medical crisis which DOMKRAFT guitarist Martin Widholm faced in 2025 has found an echo on the Swedes’ fifth album “Night Songs”. Although his band mates didn’t have to undergo several complicated surgeries as he did, they were of course also affected as bystanders in less threatening but nonetheless meaningful ways.
Their collective outlook on life and what is truly important shifted during this period of terror. When the band started working on new songs during Widholm’s long phase of recovery, many contradictory feelings surfaced in both the music and the lyrics. From fear bordering on panic, the pendulum swung to cautious relief. And through sadness and joy, hope and despair, they went all the way to finally arrive at the humbling realisation that they were still able to do what they dearly love: creating music.
The album title, “Night Songs”, partly stems from the Swedes’ experiences during the past year, but also crosses into the broad idea of darkness versus light. This can mean personal hardships, the present state of the world, or the concept of actual night itself. The night may turn into a time of regret, solitude and insomnia but also into the opposite, as a calm phase of relief, relaxation, and even debauchery. All of this happens at night. And just maybe, these “Night Songs” could foremost deal with resilience.
Nordic trio DOMKRAFT have always been true to their musical course, but also grew audibly in maturity with each new release, honing their considerable songwriting skills on each outing. Gradually and through determination and small tweaks and nuances, their stylistic range shifted from towering doom anthems towards heavy rock with psychedelic influences.
DOMKRAFT sprung into being when singer and bass player Martin Wegeland, guitarist Martin Widholm, and drummer Anders Dahlgren realised that they had firmly bonded over a mutual love of bands such as SPACEMEN 3, MONSTER MAGNET, SLEEP, and HAWKWIND.
DOMKRAFT‘s monolithic 2016 debut album, “The End of Electricity”, drew equally from the heaviness, psychedelia, and hypnotic minimalism of their influences. Building on this foundation and with a curious lust for experimentation, the trio explored different sonic angles and musical avenues while building an ever-growing audience and continued critical acclaim with each following release: “Flood” (2018), “Seeds” (2021), and “Sonic Moons” (2023).
DOMKRAFT furthermore established an excellent reputation as a considerable live force and audience magnet on both sides of the Atlantic. The trio performed at such prestigious festivals as four Desertfests (BE, DE, UK & US), Psycho Las Vegas (US), Blow Up (FI), Sonic Whip (NL), Høstsabbat (NO) ArcTanGent (UK), and many more.
“Night Songs” was recorded at the renowned Studio Gröndahl in Stockholm by David Castillo (OPETH, CANDLEMASS, KATATONIA et al.). Karl Daniel Lidén (GREENLEAF, LOWRIDER, BREACH) was asked to maintain DOMKRAFT‘s sonic identity by again mixing and mastering the album.
“Night Songs” should be enjoyed like a feverish, dream-like cocktail that is expertly mixed from equal parts deafening quiet and soothing loud noises, then sprinkled with insomnia, relief, contemplation, and a dash of red-hot anger for raw spice.

Next up in the 40th anniversary celebration, Orgasmatron shifts into top gear with “Built For Speed” — the second single from Cameron Webb’s brand-new remix of the whole album, created from the original multi-tracks.
A full-throttle Motörhead classic and live staple “Built For Speed” does exactly what it says on the tin: huge riffs, Lemmy’s unmistakable bass and vocals, and a relentless charge from start to finish.
The animated lyric video was created by Lee Gregory at ILoveMotion.
Cameron’s remix is part of the Orgasmatron 40th Anniversary Edition, available as a deluxe 3LP bookpack and 2CD, featuring the remastered original mix, the new Cameron Webb Remix, additional studio rehearsals and outtakes recorded in 1985, and the complete BBC Radio 1 Friday Rock Show session from 1986, capturing the band during the Orgasmatron era. The 40th anniversary edition is also available as a 1LP pressing on transparent violet vinyl, featuring the remastered original studio album.
MORE ON THE ORGASMATRON 40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION
Released in 1986, Orgasmatron featured the line-up of Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel and Pete Gill. It marked a new chapter for the band, pushing further into heavier territory while retaining the speed, aggression and raw energy that had defined Motörhead from the beginning.
The album’s production was the subject of much discussion among the band and their fans, but beneath it was a formidable collection of songs. “Orgasmatron”, “Deaf Forever” and “Built For Speed” became key parts of the Motörhead live repertoire, while the album’s combination of hard rock, heavy metal and punk influences gave it a character all of its own. Four decades on, Orgasmatron has taken its place as one of the most distinctive and respected records in the Motörhead catalogue.
Now, 40 years after its original release, Orgasmatron is revisited in a new anniversary edition that explores both the album itself and the story behind its creation. The original studio recordings have been remastered for the anniversary and cut at half speed from the original tapes, while longtime Motörhead collaborator Cameron Webb has created a brand-new remix and remaster from the original stems.
The Motörhead team explain: “‘Orgasmatron’ is a special album. Part of that is down to the stylized production of Bill Laswell, who approached the work from a unique perspective. Bill’s work stands in its own right as something special in the Motörhead library, and Orgasmatron stands as one hell of an album. However, there was some controversy in the sense that both Lemmy and Phil Campbell felt that some of the power, bite and energy had been lost in Laswell’s final delivery.”
“As old-school Motörhead fans, we found ourselves sitting around the coffee table one night several months ago, drinks in hand, pondering what ‘Orgasmatron’ would sound like if it were to be remixed by Motörhead’s longtime producer, Cameron Webb. Cameron helmed six studio albums, and it’s fair to say he had the trust, love — and grumbles too! — of Lem, Phil and Mikkey. Would it be ‘right’ to ask him if he wanted a crack at remixing ‘Orgasmatron’? Would it be disrespecting the original album if we were to offer such a thing alongside Bill’s original work? We concluded a big fat ‘no’! It would be an added adventure if people wanted to take it. So we asked Cameron if he was up for it. And he screamed a rather enthusiastic ‘yes’!”
For Cameron, the opportunity was particularly personal:
“My brother introduced me to ‘Orgasmatron’ when I was 14 years old. I heard the song and thought, ‘Is this even music?’ It was like the devil coming through my cassette tape. And I loved it. That record and Rock ’N’ Roll were my Motörhead records, so being asked to work on this is incredibly special to me. I honestly don’t know anyone in the world who would be more excited than me to do it.”
At the same time, Webb was keen to preserve the character of the original recording and acknowledge the work of producer Bill Laswell and engineer Jason Corsaro:
“I love the fact that the original is wild and a little messy. I wanted to be respectful to what Jason Corsaro and Bill Laswell created, rather than simply trying to make it sound like a modern heavy metal record. When we opened up the original 24-track tapes, you could really hear how creative they were with the sounds, particularly the drums. There’s so much character in that recording, and I wanted to preserve that.”
With the original mix in mind, Webb also approached the remix by considering what Lemmy and Phil might have wanted to hear:
“Lemmy and Phil both said they didn’t like the original mix, so I thought about what they might have asked me to do if they were sitting next to me. I tried to channel what I knew about them and their approach to recording — bringing out the bass here, defining the guitars there — while still respecting what was already there. The aim was never to replace the original, but to reveal more of what was inside it.”
