Australian masters of progressive metallers TERAMAZE have released their brand new official video ‘Battle’ (Acoustic Version).
The band shared: We approached this song a little differently then the other acoustic renditions on the album. With the vocal melodies so catchy and uplifting we decided to give it the treatment it deserved. With a hint of 90s pop and rock we gave it another life of its own! We were so happy with the arrangement we were almost gonna call it a different name! It’s one of our new favourites, so please sit back, light a candle and enjoy.

Berlin-based symphonic death metal band Carved Memories has dropped the music video for “Raven,” the second single off their debut full-length, The Moirai, set for release on November 01st on CD and digital via Black Lion Records. The album features orchestration crafted by Clemens “Ardek” Wijers from Carach Angren.
According to Carved Memories, the track “Raven” is “a description of death, the grim reaper, in its all-powerful manifestation as a Raven. Drawing inspiration from the ‘Ravens of Odin’ and their roles in Norse mythology, the song pairs this with the inevitability of death and the personification of an entity who reigns as the sovereign of death—and, by extension, of life.”

Now settled in Berlin, Germany, Carved Memories originated in Costa Rica. The band’s moniker symbolizes how every experience carves itself into individuals—shaping their thoughts, actions, and emotions. Deeply resonating with listeners, Carved Memories’ powerful music and lyrics foster emotional empowerment and encouragement, while also providing a pathway for emotional release.
Carved Memories’ debut album, The Moirai, delves into the concept of absolute power, exploring the immense forces that dominate and control their realms. Each track reflects the overwhelming presence of a massive deity or emotion, personified as an unstoppable force reigning supreme. The lyrics narrate the influence and dominion of these mighty entities, portraying them in their full might—unchallenged and eternal. The themes center around the unyielding nature of these powers, representing a reign that cannot be defied.
Musically, the album mirrors this concept through a potent blend of melodic and aggressive elements, intensifying the lyrical themes with soaring symphonies and driving melodies that enhance the grandeur and strength of the narrative. Every note is crafted to reflect the magnitude of the forces described, breathing life into the story. The symphonic melodies not only underscore the aggression but also emphasize the majesty of these supreme powers. Together, the music and lyrics create a cohesive expression of unstoppable force, delivering a visceral experience for listeners. This combination of melody and aggression amplifies the intention behind the album, ensuring that the listener feels the full weight of its thematic strength.

International power metal band Asterise is set to release the second studio album ‘Tale of a Wandering Soul’ on December 6th 2024 via Inverse Records. The first single ‘Into Fantasy’ is released today and music video can be seen below.
Bartlomiej Mezynski comments: “I decided to go with “Into Fantasy” as first single because it perfectly captures sound of the whole album. You can hear typical Power Metal rhythm guitars, fast guitar and keyboard solos, catchy choruses but also extraordinary bridge with totally different style and feel. Arnaud Menard and Sozos Michael did amazing job with the vocals. A lot of high-pitched notes in this song. Finally, the drums were recorded by real drummer, which adds a lot to result. If you are looking for something fresh but at the same time with old school Power Metal sound – you will not be disappointed.”
