Alternative rock band KLOGR is excited to announce the release of their new single “The Twisted Art” (featuring guest Alber Eno) and their European tour in November/December supporting Evergrey.
After a long wait due to personal issues of band members, KLOGR is finally back on the scene with a powerful and decisive sound – a mix of alternative rock, metal, and grunge with electro influences that make the sound modern and captivating. The song addresses themes of mental manipulation and denial of reality, which gain even more value with the feature of Alber Eno (singer of Kismet and currently pursuing his solo project), given the collaboration that ties the artist and the band together in production.
Regarding this collaboration, Alber Eno explains: “I was delighted to be involved by Rusty to work with him on the vocal production, and right from the start, I found a special synergy with the sound and lyrical concept of the new songs. In the song ‘The Twisted Art,’ we decided to blend our voices together, and I must admit I had quite a bit of fun roaring my vocal cords in the final chorus!”.
The artwork is by Charli Aldrighi, an illustrator and artist well-known in the music scene for designing artwork and merchandise for many international bands. Produced by Rusty himself, co-produced and recorded by Jarno Bellasio, and mixed/mastered by Federico Ascari, “The Twisted Art” marks a powerful return for a band that has made a lot of noise in recent years.
As announced, the band will be part of Evergrey‘s European tour, hitting the road for 7 weeks and 45 shows. Here are the initial dates, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

POWERWOLF, renowned for their multiple #1 album chart entries, gold and platinum records, and huge sold-out arena shows, have just released the official music video for their newest single, “We Don’t Wanna Be No Saints”, cut from their latest album, Wake Up The Wicked – out today, July 26, 2024, via Napalm Records!
POWERWOLF‘s cinematic new video showcases their iconic style, combining striking church visuals with sinful, sacral atmosphere, shot in the same monastery, where classic movie “The Name of the Rose” was filmed. This high-quality production captivates the senses, perfectly complementing the release of Wake Up The Wicked and indulging in a taste for sin.
Matthew Greywolf on the new album Wake Up The Wicked and new single “We Don’t Wanna Be No Saints”: “Wake Up The Wicked is not only the next POWERWOLF album, but also a chapter of the band where we focus even more on perfecting our trademarks, especially within the individual songs. The orchestral side of us is still omnipresent, but this time the heaviness of the album is given even more space. We’ve also tried out completely new elements, such as in “We Don’t Wanna Be No Saints”, which features a children’s choir for the first time and underlines the theme and atmosphere of the song in a completely new way. In general, there’s a hell of a lot to discover on Wake Up The Wicked, so get ready for a wild listening experience!”
POWERWOLF is undoubtedly one of the most successful current heavy metal bands worldwide. Headline and premium slots at premier rock and metal festivals like Wacken, Hellfest and Graspop, as well as massive sold-out arena shows have further solidified the Wolfpack’s standing at the very top of the scene. POWERWOLF’s high-quality releases are steadily praised by critics and fans alike, building upon the successful reach of their songs and impressive official music videos, which have been streamed tens of millions of times across platforms to date.

Metal quintet For The Fallen Dreams have released a remix version of the song ‘Searching’, which is taken from their latest self-titled album, via Arising Empire.
This new version of the track has been polished and enhanced, offering a fresh take that stays true to the original, while adding an extra layer of depth and intensity.
The remix of ‘Searching’ retains the powerful vocals and intricate instrumentals that fans love, but with improved production quality and subtle enhancements that bring a new dimension to the track. The band’s attention to detail and commitment to their craft are evident in this reimagined version, making it a must-listen for both new listeners and long-time fans.
What’s that old saying? “The more things change, the more they stay the same.” When it comes to Michigan-based metal outfit For The Fallen Dreams, perhaps a more fitting – but just as timeless – adage would be “change is the only constant.”
For The Fallen Dreams‘ career is defined by constant progression and a dedication to refining and rejuvenating their unique brand of aggressive, passionate metal. The five-piece have consistently demonstrated an ability to adapt and evolve their sound and dynamic, despite overwhelming adversity, all without sacrificing the core components of their sound.
Built around explosive breakdowns, gut-wrenching grooves and lyricism that touches on everything from an introspective glimpse into the human condition to brotherhood and camaraderie, these Midwestern masters of metal have made themselves a staple within the international heavy music community.
For The Fallen Dreams formed in 2003, but their story starts in earnest with the release of 2008’s Changes – a record that would greatly impact the footprint of heavy music. Following Changes, For The Fallen Dreams went on to release five more remarkable full-length records, from the atmospheric and moody Relentless to chart-topping comeback record Heavy Hearts, which landed at #162 on the Billboard Top 200 and #3 on Billboard Heatseekers lists. Six saw the band venture into more metallic territory, with over 20 million views on YouTube and tens of millions of streams across various streaming platforms.
While For The Fallen Dreams have been through their fair share of changes, one thing has remained constant: their dedication to growth while never failing to deliver primal-yet-emotional music, which has made them a staple in modern metal.
For The Fallen Dreams are:
Chad Ruhlig | vocals Jim Hocking | guitar & vocals Damon Tate | guitar Kalan Blehm | bass Marc Esses | drums
Blackened speed metal entity WORMWITCH have unleashed their eponymous fourth studio album today, July 26, 2024 via Profound Lore Records! The Canadian necromancers are now streaming the new offering in its entirety! The record can be heard at THIS LOCATION.
WORMWITCH sets out to combine a melodic blackened death assault with the ferocity and attitude of crust punk and classic rock and roll, jettisoning the burdens of ceremony and pomp that dominate the genre today.
The cover artwork for Wormwitch’s eponymous record was created by Abomination Hammer and can be found below along with the tracklist.
Tracklisting: 01: Fugitive Serpent 02: Envenomed 03: The Helm And The Bow [WATCH] 04: Inner War 05: Godmaegen [LISTEN] 06: Salamander 07: Wormsblood Necromancy 08: Bright And Poisonous 09: Draconick Sorcerous Canadian Witchknights [WATCH]
Like black wings from an obsidian sky, WORMWITCH descended from the darkness in 2015, somewhere upon the rain-soaked woodlands of coastal British Columbia. Animated from the bones of several local punk and metal bands, the new entity set out to combine a melodic blackened death assault with the ferocity and attitude of crust punk and classic rock and roll, jettisoning the burdens of ceremony and pomp that dominate the genre today.
WORMWITCH released their first demo, ‘The Long Defeat’ in 2015, and shortly after signed to Prosthetic Records, under whom they released ‘Strike Mortal Soil’ (2017), ‘Heaven that Dwells Within’ (2019), and ‘Wolf Hex’ (2021). During that time the band toured with the likes of The Black Dahlia Murder, Suffocation, Midnight, Necrot, Uada, Bewitcher, and many others, earning themselves a dedicated cult following and international critical praise. In 2022, WORMWITCH struck out to independently release a string of singles and embark upon several tours of North America. After a busy festival season, 2024 saw the release of a six-song split with Atlanta black-thrashers Sadistic Ritual.
Now, with blades meticulously honed and tempered under the light of a feral Canadian moon, WORMWITCH emerges once more to offer their fourth full length record. Simply self-titled, “Wormwitch” is a statement of a band coming into it’s own – a revelrous celebration of devilish speed, searing melody and diabolical intensity.
Wormwitch Lineup: Robin Harris: Bass, Vocals Colby Hink: Guitars Israel Langlais: Drums
Recording & Mixing: Michael Kraushaar at Little Red Sounds at New Westminster, BC Mastering: Brad Boatright at Audiosiege Guest vocals: Erlend Hjelvik (HJELVIK) on “The Helm And The Bow”
Canadian blues, soul, and rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Marcus Trummer is pleased to announce his new upbeat, groove-driven single “Let You Down” released by Gypsy Soul Records on Friday, July 26th.
The single is available on all streaming platforms HERE.
“Let You Down” is the first single taken from Trummer’s debut album to be released in November.
Led by the infectious bass playing of Stacey Shopsowitz, “Let You Down” is peppered with Trummer’s tasteful guitar licks. The addition of catchy horn arrangements makes the song fit in perfectly alongside other classic soul hits. It’s a danceable, feel-good tune perfect for the summertime.
Although written from the perspective of a relationship, the lyrics can also be interpreted as an assurance to listeners that Marcus Trummer is here to stay. The main hook “I won’t let you down as long as the world is turning ‘round,” shines a light on Trummer’s mentality as a young and ambitious artist, eager to prove himself.
If “Let You Down” is any indication of what’s to come, Marcus Trummer is a fascinating artist to keep on your radar as he prepares to share more singles in the coming months.
A young blood with an old soul, Marcus Trummer marries modern sensibilities with tradition in his distinctive style that encompasses blues, soul, and rock. Dubbed “a precocious guitarist whose vocals possess a wise-beyond-his-years weariness” by the Calgary Herald, the Calgary-born artist is already earning critical acclaim and recognition.
In September 2019, Trummer was the recipient of the “Prophets of Music Emerging Artist Award” at Calgary’s YYC Music Awards. In 2022, he won “Blues Recording of the Year” at Calgary’s YYC Music Awards.
In 2022, Trummer snagged a nomination for “New Artist of the Year” at the Maple Blues Awards in Toronto. The following year, he travelled to Colorado to perform as a finalist in the 2023 Telluride Blues Challenge, which he would go on to win.
Marcus Trummer’s music draws inspiration from the timeless sounds of the 60s and 70s. With his warm and emotive vocals, Trummer pays respect to classic soul singers like Bill Withers and Al Green.
His expressive guitar work channels the impassioned approach of players like B.B. King and Jimi Hendrix. Packed with raw emotion and honesty, Trummer’s songwriting is not to be overlooked. His thoughtful lyrics examine universal subjects of love and coming of age, unpacking experiences that resonate with all listeners.
