Following the triumphant release of their first single “The Ascent” praised by fans and critics for its “fierce breakdowns and demolishing riffs” (Metal Injection), today, WOJ unleashes its exceedingly ferocious follow up “Agency”.

Clobbering listeners out of the gate with “True Til’ Death”, the band affirms the triumph of their comeback with rabid aggression: iconic frontwoman Candace Buckingham immediately commands listeners with her gargantuan growls. The discordant violence of tracks like “The Ascent” and “Untouchable”, tap into something truly primal and kick you back a reading level with their claustrophobic chord work, while more thrash driven tracks like “The Flame” and “Agency”, take off at 100 miles per hour, plowing through a plethora of protein packed riffage and solos. Lyrically the band is stoking the flames of discontent, with tracks like “Agency”, “Borrowed Ground”, and “Last Judgement”, delivering empowering messages of reclamation, self-determination, and human rights, encouraging listeners to fight for a better world. Lithuanian BLACK SPIKES Release New Single ‘DULKĖS’ with Official Music Video

With mere days to go until the release of their sophomore album, Ydos, Lithuanian force BLACK SPIKES releases another single. “DULKĖS”, Lithuanian for “dust”, is Ydos’ mystical album closer. Versatile, yet grasping, the five-piece breakout band solidifies its upward trajectory with this powerful track. Initially driven by slow modern drum sounds and singer Agni’s captivating whispers, “DULKĖS” quickly explodes into a thrilling headbanging invitation.
 
Always keeping up the exceptional balance between sensitivity and heaviness, the song wraps up BLACK SPIKES’ bleak exploration of humankind’s relationship with its vices. Ydos is a creative twist on modern metal, a progressive sweeping blow reaching out with fierce claws never to let you go. Initiating the story of Ydos is the eerie “PASAKA” (engl. fairy tale), an intro setting the mood with menacing ticking sounds growing into orchestrals and singer Agni’s high vocals layered with screams. A calming lullaby exploding into growls, thunderous blast beats, and elaborate guitar riffs, “MOTINA” (engl. mother) describes the birth of humankind’s vices and therefore serves as an exposition for the storytelling aspect. Throughout the ten songs of their second album, BLACK SPIKES explore the relationships with flaws we all carry within, devoting a song to each of them. “MELAS” (engl. lie) introduces trap beats and rap to the mix, all with an approach clearly rooted in modern metal with sophisticated progressive elements. “MARA”, investigating excessive curiosity, beautifully contrasts calmness and calamity, with the quintet allowing their different elements to breathe while still entwisting them persuasively. YHWH & HESSIAN Unveil Lyric Video for ‘Gravebound’

Following the release of their uncompromising split EP Rapture & Perversion, YHWH and HESSIAN have officially unveiled the lyric video for “Gravebound”.

“Gravebound” is an attack on the systems that have taught us to mistake obedience, consumption, and exploitation for freedom. In true YHWH fashion, few words hit harder than a thousand pages, with entire concepts compressed into a single term that says it all. There is no imagery and no unnecessary wordplay—just a manifesto that screams. Driven by YHWH’s unmistakable abrasive and aggressive sound, the track becomes an accusation against a society that reduces human existence to work, consumption, and profit, while selling its chains as freedom.

HESSIAN

Hessian traces back to 2002, when Wade’s project was recorded under the name Madame Durant. It became Utuk Xul Commands Worship in 2004 and went inactive, then returned in 2014 playing hardcore street punk. By 2016, the project had shifted back into extreme metal, recording collaboratively under the Hessian name. Hessian signed to Wormholedeath and released a self-titled album in January 2025, with Brandon Floyd on vocals (now running the solo DSBM project Nyvrosk), Wade on guitar, and Noctem on drums.

Since the self-titled album, Wade has run Hessian with a rotating cast of guest musicians from release to release: Frostmorner, also signed to Wormholedeath, on the single “Goetic Altars of Obsidian”; Thoth, of Thoth Nemesis and Internment, on the EP “Sworn to the Kult”; Frostmorner, Thoth, Crotalos of Gomold, and Dromo’ together on the EP “Celebrants of the Lunar Blood”; and, on the split EP “Primitive Adorations” with Death Invoker, Wade himself on vocals alongside drummer Wrath of Nunslaughter and Beelzebub Slaughter of Murder Records on the opening track. On “Rapture and Perversion,” Wade returns to vocals and guitar, with Noctem back on drums.

YHWH

YHWH is a Belgian/Thai occult black metal band formed in 2024 by brother and sister Schem HaMephorash and C. Bones, and S.M. Goatritual arrived in June 2024. S.M. Goat Ritual joined the band in June [YEAR TO CONFIRM]. YHWH released its debut EP, “Tetragrammaton,” through Wormholedeath in April 2025, followed by a second EP, “Khatha,” later that year. A third EP, “Baghavat,” is scheduled for October 30, 2026.

Today, BOBBIE DAZZLE, the catsuit-sporting queen of UK Glam Rock, is proud to announce her second album, ‘Star Power,’ set for release on October 2nd via Rise Above Records. The flamboyant singer, songwriter, flautist and producer arrived without warning in late 2024 with ‘Fandabidozi,’ one of that year’s most irresistible introductory statements. Reviewers drooled and fans reacted with disbelieving joy when BOBBIE and her band proceeded to take the songs from ‘Fandabidozi’ out on the road.

Since the release of her debut, BOBBIE DAZZLE has rapidly established herself as one of the most distinctive new voices in UK Glam Rock, sharing stages with legendary artists including Alice Cooper, Sweet, Lita Ford and Thunder’s Luke Morley, as well as appearing at London’s Hyde Park with Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Along the way, the artist born Siân Greenaway has transformed her flamboyant alter ego into a fully realized musical world built on infectious melodies, theatricality, dazzling musicianship and unapologetic fun.

THE LAST DECADE are set to release their debut album “Rebirth Of Suffering” on 20 November at Metalville.

THE LAST DECADE – REBIRTH OF SUFFERING — Endtimes Rock from the shadows of the present

There is music that captures the spirit of an era, and there is music that refuses to look away. THE LAST DECADE belongs to the latter category.

With “Rebirth Of Suffering”, the international gothic rock outfit releases its debut album – a work that is dark and atmospheric yet surprisingly immediate, exploring a world defined by fear, control, manipulation, war, loneliness, and the search for hope.

THE LAST DECADE blends the atmosphere of classic gothic rock with modern dark rock elements and a distinctive signature sound. The band describes its style as “Endtimes Rock”: music for a present day where the boundaries between reality and staging, truth and manipulation, are increasingly blurred.

At the heart of the project are six musicians with deep roots in the international gothic and dark rock scenes. The line up includes members from bands such as THE MISSION, NOSFERATU, END OF GREEN, LOVE LIKE BLOOD, SEEKERS ARE LOVERS, and SCHWARZER ENGEL. Fittingly, THE LAST DECADE was introduced as a “gothic supergroup” at the 2024 Mystic Festival in Poland. 

Yet "Rebirth Of Suffering" is far more than the sum of these names.

The album’s ten songs tell stories of people losing themselves, of systems that monitor and control, of war and dependency, of faith and manipulation – but also of change, memory, and the possibility of a fresh start.

Catchy, melancholic melodies meet driving beats, sharp guitars, and dark basslines – all set against an atmosphere hovering between gothic melancholy, rock ‘n’ roll, and an apocalyptic mood.

“Children Of Vigilance” opens the album with a world where vigilance has become a survival strategy. “Shadowman” leads into the darkness of personal dependency, while “War” places the reality of armed conflict squarely at the center. “Big Black Car” speaks of distraction and “bread and circuses,” while “Snow” deals with emotional distance and a relationship growing ever colder.

With “Return Of The Angels,” “Burning Down And Fade,” and “Dragons,” the album opens up to further personal and societal themes. Finally, “Destination Unknown” poses the ultimate question regarding the path that society – and each individual – might still take.

And then there is “Glasshouse” – the album’s final track, which returns to the central image of “Rebirth Of Suffering”: We live in a world made of glass. We watch, and we are watched. Screens show us war, religion, protest, power, fear, and truth—and, at the same time, ourselves.

This concept extends seamlessly into the artwork. The deluxe vinyl edition of “Rebirth Of Suffering” is not merely packaging but an integral part of the album: a die-cut cover featuring seven panels allows different visual layers to be revealed. Depending on which artwork card is inserted, the central cross—and the story perceived by the viewer—changes.

The artwork only becomes complete when someone stands before it, making the listener part of the concept itself.

For “Rebirth Of Suffering” offers no easy answers. The album observes the present—while simultaneously challenging us to look closely for ourselves.

THE LAST DECADE do not create a soundtrack for the apocalypse; they create a soundtrack for the aftermath.
