BANKS ARCADE Sign with Arising Empire + Release New Video Single ‘Severance’

Arising Empire have never been ones to play it safe, but with their newest signing, they’ve doubled down on something far more volatile. Enter Banks Arcade and their ferocious new single ‘Severance’, a track that doesn’t just blur genre lines, it tears them apart and leaves the pieces smoldering.

Stream here: https://arisingempire.com/severance

Built on a collision of punishing metalcore, glitchy electronic textures, and the swagger of modern hip-hop, ‘Severance’ feels less like a song and more like a system overload. It’s aggressive, cinematic, and calculated chaos, exactly the kind of statement you’d expect from a band that has never acknowledged the idea of staying in one lane. ‘Severance’ captures that momentum at full speed. There’s a maximalist intensity running through the track, industrial electronics colliding with downtuned riffs, hooks that feel like they’ve been dragged through a rave at 3am, and a sense that everything could fall apart at any second, but never does. It’s controlled destruction.

Catch the band live:

June 14, 2026 — Brighton, United Kingdom — Chalk
June 16, 2026 — Stuttgart, Germany — Proton The Club

WARSENAL’s New Album “Endless Beginnings…” Out Now, European Tour Starts This Week

Canadian speed/thrash metal trio WARSENAL haveofficially released their new studio album “Endless Beginnings…”, out now via Massacre Records.

Following the previously released singles “Feeding the Wildfire” and “Mass Grave Mass”, which showcased both the band’s relentless aggression and conceptual depth, “Endless Beginnings…” is now fully available, marking the band’s most ambitious and fully realized work to date.

ORDER THE ALBUM HERE: https://massacre-records.com/warsenal_endless_beginnings_sale/

With “Endless Beginnings…”, WARSENAL push their signature blend of speed, precision and controlled chaos to new extremes, delivering a record that is as ferocious as it is meticulously crafted. Packed with razor-sharp riffs, high-velocity drumming and uncompromising intensity, the album represents a significant step forward in both songwriting and sonic identity.

At the core of the record lies a dystopian conceptual framework: a world ruled by an elite known as the Dawn Mowers, living in a floating city above a planet cast into perpetual darkness. Through systems of religion, addiction, labor and false hope, humanity is trapped in an endless cycle of control and submission.

Musically, the album showcases a dynamic and diverse approach, blending classic speed metal urgency with modern precision and subtle black metal undertones. This evolution is further reinforced by the presence of drummer Zack Osiris, whose performance adds new levels of aggression, tightness and technical finesse to the band’s sound.

Produced by Mathieu Rondeau together with Ryan Battistuzzi, and mixed and mastered by Olof Wikstrand at Hvergelmer Studios, “Endless Beginnings…” delivers a powerful and cutting production that perfectly captures the band’s intensity and vision. The striking cover artwork, created by Justin Cournoyer (4CII), visually complements the album’s dark and immersive concept.

WARSENAL firmly establish themselves as one of the most exciting and uncompromising acts in the modern speed/thrash metal scene.

As promised, enigmatic black metal horde UADA is now streaming its new acoustic album ‘Interwoven’ in its entirety at THIS LOCATION!

While the original April 10 release date is still being honored digitally, the physical copies will not be shipped until late May due to delays at the manufacturing plant. The album represents an acoustic journey tracing one song from each chapter of UADA’s discography as well as various covers from the bands who’ve inspired them. ‘Interwoven’ will be released via Eisenwald and physical copies can be pre-ordered HERE.

In addition, UADA is now hitting the road! The band has joined forces with industrial metal artist MORTIIS for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuter’s ROME and WRAITH KNIGHT. UADA will be performing their seminal 2016 debut album ‘Devoid of Light’ in its entirety + a special CERMONIAL CASTINGS 30-year anniversary set featuring Wraith Knight. In addition, MORTIIS shall be performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, ‘The Smell Of Rain,’ along with other volumes of dystopian despair. The tour kicks off tonight, April 10, in UADA‘s hometown of Portland, OR. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are now available HERE.

UADA is also celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their debut album, ‘Devoid of Light,’ with a special reissue! Originally released in 2016, ‘Devoid of Light’ remains a remarkably focused debut – just five tracks, a little over thirty minutes – and yet a fully formed statement. The ‘Devoid of Light (10th Anniversary Edition)’ returns in an expanded form. Remastered by Arthur Rizk, who previously handled mixing and mastering for UADA’s sophomore album ‘Cult of a Dying Sun’ and mastering for the acoustic album ‘Interwoven,’ the material gains depth without losing the character of the original recordings. This edition also includes previously unseen photography by Peter Beste, alongside rare archival material, expanded liner notes, and an exclusive bonus track. It will be released on July 17, 2026 via Eisenwald in CD format and 3 vinyl color variations; it is now available for pre-orders HERE.

Moreover, after much demand from fans, UADA will be returning to Milwaukee Metal Fest for the second time since leaving their mark during the 2024 edition. The festival will take place at The Rave/Eagle’s Club from June 4 – 7, with UADA performing on the 7th. More info and tickets can be found HERE.

“The idea of ‘Interwoven’ – an acoustic journey tracing one song from each chapter of our discography – was first envisioned on the very day UADA was conceived: October 1st, 2014,” says UADA founder and frontman Jake Superchi. “In those early conversations, when laying out the future I sought to create, I recall sharing the concept of a stripped, atmospheric interpretation, supported by the haunting resonance of strings – cello or violin. At the time, the notion was met with skepticism, perhaps even dismissal. Yet it was an idea I knew would one day take form. It had to.”

“UADA has always drawn from a wide spectrum of influences – many of which extend far beyond the traditional boundaries of black metal,” he continues. “With Interwoven, we sought to peel back the layers and reveal the vastness of these realms; to immerse the listener in both the foreign and the familiar, in textures that challenge and comfort in equal measure.”

“More than a sonic experiment, this album was a deliberate act of vulnerability. It was a personal and collective trial – a chance to step outside the acquainted shadows and embrace the uncertain light. The earliest intent was to craft something primitive and ritualistic, echoing the ancestral tones of ancient Pagan folk. Vocally, we anticipated a palette of whispers, chants, and throat singing. There was never a plan to explore clean, melodic singing – until an improvised vocal passage in “Djinn” revealed something unexpected. That unscripted moment sparked the foundation of what would become this album. With the band’s enthusiastic support, the recording process began – without a script, without rehearsal, and with full commitment to spontaneity and truth.”

SEWER ALTAR Drop New Single ‘Cryonaut Sludge’ from Upcoming Debut Album

Finnish death-grind provocateurs SEWER ALTAR have unveiled their new single, “Cryonaut Sludge”, offering a further glimpse into their upcoming debut full-length, “Fever Dreams of Vengeance”, set for release on April 24th, 2026.

Building on the momentum of their earlier material, the track delivers a dense and punishing blend of death-grind ferocity and hardcore-infused groove, showcasing the band’s ability to balance sheer aggression with sharp, memorable songwriting.

Stream “Cryonaut Sludge” HERE.

Following the critical acclaim of their 2024 demo, the band returns with a record that expands upon their earlier vision, delivering a relentless surge of death-grind sharpened with hardcore intensity.

“Fever Dreams of Vengeance” is both punishing and playful, balancing ferocious riffs and blastbeats with a sense of dynamism that keeps listeners engaged from start to finish. The album’s compact, high-octane tracks are crafted for impact, combining the brutality of grindcore with the groove and energy of hardcore, creating moments that are as likely to trigger moshing as they are to impress with precision and creativity.

Serrated and tight, yet bursting with infectious hooks, the songs on “Fever Dreams of Vengeance” are a testament to SEWER ALTAR’s command of their sound. The record thrives on immediacy, offering short, sharp bursts of aggression that translate perfectly to the live stage, where the band’s intensity and charisma can be fully felt. Every track is meticulously arranged to balance chaos and cohesion, ensuring that the listener is swept up in the energy without ever losing clarity or direction.

Lyrically, SEWER ALTAR delves into death metal themes of defilement and horror, intertwining them with the pervasive malaise of sociopolitical inequality. The band reclaims the societal irreverence and paranoia aimed at the lower classes, embracing it as a spiritual totem that guides the album’s dark and uncompromising vision.

SEWER ALTAR‘s debut album “Fever Dreams of Vengeance” will be released this spring on multiple formats: CD via 783Label and Hecatombe Records, LP via 783Label, Hecatombe Records and 7Degrees Records, and tape via Iron Corpse Productions.

Recorded with an emphasis on raw power and clarity, “Fever Dreams of Vengeance” presents SEWER ALTAR as a band capable of fusing grindcore ferocity with hardcore accessibility, producing music that is punishing yet irresistibly fun. The album marks a bold step forward from the demo, establishing the band as one of Finland’s most exciting new extreme acts and promising to leave an indelible mark on fans of uncompromising underground death-grind.

XORSIST Release Third New Track ‘His Shrouded Gaze’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 13, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: XORSIST. Leave a comment

With Aberrations set to land on 24th April through Hammerheart Records, Xorsist are turning up the heat ahead of album three. The band have unveiled ‘His Shrouded Gaze’, the third single from the record, which is streaming now via the link below.

Pre-order Aberrations here: https://xorsistband.lnk.to/aberrations

Xorsist comment on the track: “This third song stands as the final mark before Aberrations is fully unveiled. The track pulls you even deeper into the sorrow and darkness that is the core of the record itself. With “His Shrouded Gaze”, we let there be no light, no life and no sun left to fawn!”

Hailing from the hallowed city that birthed classic death metal acts such as Entombed, Dismember and Unleashed, Stockholm, Sweden’s Xorsist stand firm as torchbearers of the city’s enduring death metal legacy. Since their formation, the band have forged a sound deeply rooted in the raw, uncompromising tradition of old school Swedish death metal while steadily sharpening their own identity within the genre.

Following their self-released debut album Deadly Possession in 2022 and their second full-length At the Somber Steps of Serenity in 2023, Xorsist built a formidable track record that earned them a growing reputation within the Swedish underground and beyond. Founded by Gustav Ryderfelt (vocals and guitar) and later solidified with Birk Castenmalm (vocals and bass) and Alphonse Bouquelon (drums), the band’s core sound balances deep reverence for tradition with a focused drive toward progression.

Now signed to Hammerheart Records, Xorsist prepare to unleash their third album called Aberrations, slated for release in April 2026. While their earlier recordings honored the path that defined the classic Stockholm sound, Aberrations marks a decisive step forward, eclipsing everything that came before it and presenting a clearer, more defined expression of the band’s musical vision. With this new chapter, Xorsist continue to carry the Swedish death metal torch into darker territory!

Track-list:
1. Rest Impending
2. Souls to Mourn
3. Draped in Sorrow’s Cloth…
4. An Elegy Unfolds
5. Of Where I Reside
6. Faceless
7. His Shrouded Gaze
8. …And Aged in Embers
9. Disbelief
10. Memorial Cries

Line up:
Gustav Ryderfelt – Rhythm guitar & lead vocals
Birk Castenmalm – Bass & lead vocals
Pavel Lindegren – Lead guitar & backing vocals
Alphonse Bouquelon – Drums

WASTE A SAINT Release New Album “…And It’s Evergreen” with Video for ‘Strike, Parry, Riposte’

Following their much-acclaimed 2024 record “Ravenous”, Norwegian stoner rock trio Waste a Saint return today with the release of their new full-length album “…And It’s Evergreen”, out now via All Good Clean Records. Expanding their signature blend of weighty riffs and atmospheric grit, the record marks a confident step forward in both sound and scope.

To celebrate the release, Waste a Saint unveil the official video for “Strike, Parry, Riposte”, a track that channels the band’s core energy into a dense, fuzz-soaked trip.

“…And It’s Evergreen” emerged from a period of change for the band, shaped by new impulses, a refreshed line-up, a new rehearsal space, and an expanded palette of instruments, all driven by a strong DIY spirit. The album was recorded in the summer of 2025 at Piir Studio, with Vebjørn Svanberg Numme behind the controls.

Musically, Waste a Saint continue to operate somewhere between genres, though their roots remain firmly planted in stoner rock. The record carries weight and grit, but also leaves more room to breathe, balancing heavy moments with a newfound sense of dynamics and space.

“An enormous amount of craftsmanship goes into music. Even more important; it must be joyful, effortless, and fun to create,” the band recently said. “Music works against its own purpose when it tries to push an agenda, to compete, or prove something. It should not be proud or ashamed that it exists. When you accept that, new spaces open up. New dynamics.

…And It’s Evergreen.“
