BRUCE DICKINSON Celebrates Start of The Mandrake Project Tour, Last Tickets for Some EU Shows Available

Bruce Dickinson and his exceptional band have successfully started their major headline 2024 tour, bringing the songs from his seventh, critically acclaimed solo album The Mandrake Project (#1 in Germany & Sweden and many other EU top 5 chart positions) to life all over Europe after a phenomenal launch in Los Angeles’ legendary Whisky a Go Go in April. The live band now consists of two guitarists – Philip Naslund and Chris Declercq – as well as drummer Dave Moreno, bassist Tanya O’Callaghan and keyboard maestro Mistheria, and live reviews for the first shows in the UK are full of praise for the highly energetic performances and outstanding quality of the shows, with e.g. The Guardian commending Bruce’s skills as “an extraordinarily charismatic performer” and his “thrilling and propulsive” voice as well as “his celebrated band”.

And this euphoria is not only felt by the audience – fans and critics alike – but also shared by Bruce Dickinson and the whole band, as he underlines: “It’s been 15 shows since we launched the tour at the Whisky in LA and we’re all dialled in as a band! We’ve chucked in a couple of extra tunes, and people are freaking out about them. It’s really interesting with the crowd – you can tell they’re like, ‘wow!’ They’re appreciating the band and this music as an excuse for virtuosos to go mental and show off. We’re having a blast on stage, and the whole idea was to give everybody room to be themselves. We did two weeks in rehearsals but after five days I was like, ‘we should do a gig now!’. And we’re loving it, every night!”  Sounds like this is definitely not gonna be less than one for the history books!

Some of the remaining EU shows of the extensive The Mandrake Project Tour are already sold out – with the rest rapidly running out of tickets. Fans should make sure to not miss out and secure their tickets while they last.

In support of their upcoming, much-awaited studio album, “In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust”, Danish death metal heavy weights ILLDISPOSED have unleashed a brand new single entitled “I Walk Among The Living”!

“In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust” will be out on June 28, 2024 via Massacre Records, the pre-sale is available at: https://lnk.to/sonicdisgust

Following the previously-released, first single and album opening track “Spitting Your Pain”, the new ILLDISPOSED track “I Walk Among The Living” is now streaming on all digital providers at: https://illdisposed.bfan.link/iwalkamongtheliving

“In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust” is the first release of new music from ILLDISPOSED since 2019. It is definitely not normal to see a gap like this between their releases, but several events slowed down the process. First, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the music industry and made the band focus on other things for a while. Then guitar player Rasmus Henriksen was diagnosed with brain cancer. Rasmus has now left the band to focus 100% on the treatment. Former guitar player Ken Holst is back in the band, replacing Rasmus. Now, ILLDISPOSED are finally back to show the world how years of crisis and struggle have been transcribed to music. “In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust” is full of anger and frustration, and the most ambitious and creative ILLDISPOSED album – ever!

“In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust” is featuring guest perfomances of Sandie The Lilith (Defacing God), and was mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio. The album artwork was designed by Timon Kokott of Art-Work.

Tracklist:

  1. Spitting Your Pain
  2. I Walk Among The Living
  3. Lay Low (feat. Sandie The Lilith)

CRAWLING THROUGH TARTARUS Sign Worldwide Deal with EMG

Extreme Management Group (EMG), home to bands like Suffocation, Atheist, Misery Index, and more, has announced their partnership with California death metal band CRAWLING THROUGH TARTARUS.

Tartarus (Ancient Greek: Τάρταρος, Tártaros) The deep abyss that is used as a dungeon of torment and suffering for the wicked and was the prison for the Titans. The Bands message tells us of Greek mythology and the dark and brutal stories of the gods. The group’s heavy and dynamic sound along with their resonating live performances helped the band quickly rise to prominence.

Crawling Through Tartarus roared to life in 2019 and shortly after that the group released their first song “Ballad of the Fallen’, and their follow-up single “Hell’s Kitchen”. This was the first from a fresh new face in the metal scene. Crawling Through Tartarus is a death metal band from the heart of southern California that packs a mean punch. The band follows a Greek mythology theme within their music, packed with heavy hitting riffs, brutal breakdowns, and earth shaking percussion that hits in all the right spots. Crawling Through Tartarus is one of those bands that will catch your attention from the get-go and will pull you in further with each listen. In 2020, they took to the road making appearances at multiple venues across the Southern California scene.

Crawling Through Tartarus has quickly gained a favorable reputation for their high energy live performances, brutal and invigorating studio recordings, and good branding. The heavy hitting group’s latest single “Medusa’s Gaze’ helped catapult the group into 2022 by being the first track off their EP titled “Libations” in 2022. The EP serves its purpose by showcasing how, with each release, that this band is on the right path. Crawling Through Tartarus is a very talented death metal band that evolves very rapidly with each release, tightening their dynamic as a band and proves that this band is a powerhouse that is rising from California.

“It is fair to say, their sound is as fiery as the Hades their moniker refers to, and is chock full of relentless heaviness with nary a let up.” – Ghost Cult Magazine

Check out Thread Of Life video below.

In line with their name, having dragged themselves up from the underworld of recovering from a shooting that occurred during a live set, injuring vocalist Matt, Crawling Through Tartarus have paid more than a penny to the ferryman to cross back over the River Styx to the land of the living, and return with their debut self-titled full-length album in February of 2024, two years after the Libations EP launched them . It is fair to say, their sound is as fiery as the Hades their moniker refers to, and is chock full of relentless heaviness with nary a let up. Straddling the line between contemporary Death Metal and Deathcore, the quintet certainly know what they’re doing.

“The Beast Within”, placed midway through the thirty-minute pummelling, flies out the traps, powered by drummer Joseph, then hits a slab-heavy groove, before the latter-part jags into some early-Gojira rhythmic juddering and once again picking the ante back up and the pummelling commences again. “The Fall Of Atlas” has a melancholic sepia tone to its staccato punch, and “Into The Depths” sees Matt slither where the slime lives, as CTT hit some slippery Strapping Young Lad grooves.

“THE ULTIMATE BREATH OF FRESH AIR WITH METAL!” – Breakdown Central

Now the band has signed with Extreme Management Group, and had the following to say about the partnering, “
There were a few different organizations that we were looking into working with and out of all of the options we had, Extreme Management Group really ultimately was the best choice for us. They fit all of the needs our band has and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with their team. We look forward to this journey we’re all going to take together and are ecstatic that Extreme is working closely with us to spread our music and our energy to everyone we can.”  EMG said, “Crawling Through Tartarus is a killer death metal act from the west coast. We anticipate big things to come from our partnership with the band.”

CRAWLING THROUGH TARTARUS is:
Guitar / Kevin Corbeil
Guitar / Adam Stocks
Bass / Josh Schott
Vocals / Matt Holzboog
Drums / Joseph Wandsberg
