US rockers Generation Radio are excited to announce the release of their new studio album, “Take Two”, scheduled for April 17, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

To celebrate the announcement, the band share the new single and official video, “Montana Sky”, available today.

Jay DeMarcus stated: “Jason and I were fortunate enough to write our first single, ‘Montana Sky’, with our buddy Chas Sanford. It was actually written for the Chicago “XXX” record so we’re really excited we had the chance to finally cut it!”

Pre-Order “Take Two” HERE

Generation Radio return with “Take Two”, the eagerly awaited follow-up to their acclaimed debut, delivering another masterclass in AOR/West Coast rock infused with just the right touch of the Nashville sound.

Produced by founding members Jay DeMarcus (Rascal Flatts) and Jason Scheff (former Chicago), the band features an all-star lineup: Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Average White Band) joins on drums, replacing the formidable Deen Castronovo (who returned to Journey as full-time member), while Tom Yankton (guitar, vocals) and Chris Rodriguez (guitar, vocals) round out the powerhouse ensemble.

DeMarcus said: “It was so much fun getting to make another record! We’ve been working on this one for a while and we can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve been up to. Once again, we have contributions from all band members. These guys are amazing and it’s a honor to make music with them, I believe this record is our best work yet.”

Jason Scheff added: “Here we go! Take Two, round two. We had such a great reception on our first record we’ve been chomping at the bit to get this one finished and released. I’m extremely proud to show that we have a band that is still at the top of our game”.

“In what other industry can you deliver as kids and be able to go back in and create the quality of what you’ve been recognized for? I truly believe this work stands up to any of the records we’ve ever made creating some of pop and country’s biggest hits. I can’t wait to see how the public reacts to this one!”, he continued.

“Take Two” is rich with pristine harmonies, unforgettable hooks, and timeless songwriting -hallmarks of the genre delivered with class and authenticity. Tracks like the cinematic, harmony-laden “Montana Sky”, the hook-filled “The Melody”, and the emotionally charged ballad “Hate This Heart” showcase the band’s signature blend of melodic precision and heartfelt performance.

Adding depth to the album’s appeal, Generation Radio also offers reimagined versions of timeless classics that shine in their live sets: Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again”, Chicago’s “You’re The Inspiration”, Kenny Loggins’ “I’m Alright”, and a rock version of Rascal Flatts’ classic “These Days”.

With “Take Two”, Generation Radio not only honours the legacy of AOR and West Coast rock -they elevate it, combining elite musicianship and genre-crossing influences into a record that’s as fresh as it is nostalgic.

ROCK ‘N’ ROLL FANTASY CAMP Celebrates 30 Years of Changing Lives Through Music

Posted by tarjavirmakari on February 4, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: Rock 'N Roll Fantasy Camp. Leave a comment

For 30 years, Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp has done something no one thought possible — bringing everyday musicians into rehearsal rooms, studios, and onto stages with the greatest rock legends of all time.

Founded by music industry veteran David Fishof, Rock Camp has become a global phenomenon, uniting thousands of fans and artists through a once-in-a-lifetime immersive experience. As the camp enters its 30th Anniversary year, it does so with one of the most iconic lineups in its history.

The 2026 camps feature legendary headliners including:
Roger Daltrey (The Who)
Stewart Copeland (The Police)
Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe)

Together, these artists represent three of the most influential bands in rock history — making this anniversary year a true dream lineup for music fans worldwide. Full dates and talent details are available at rockcamp.com.

Over the years, Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp has attracted an extraordinarily diverse and accomplished community. Past campers have included Coach John Benton (of the Seattle Seahawks), a former Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky, as well as college professors, doctors, lawyers, engineers, and tech innovators. Among them is Ed Oates, co-founder of Oracle, underscoring the camp’s appeal to elite thinkers and creators far beyond the music world.

Equally notable is the camp’s commitment to inclusion. Today, over 40% of Rock Camp participants are women, many of whom are exceptionally accomplished musicians. In an industry long dominated by men, Rock Camp has quietly become a place where women thrive creatively, collaborate fearlessly, and take the stage alongside the legends they admire. The camps also offer ‘Women’s Only’, and ‘Songwriting’ camps too.

Beyond the campers, Rock Camp has been equally meaningful for the artists themselves. The late Jeff Beck called the camp “the best way to give back” after everything music had given him. Roger Daltrey says in the documentary Rock Camp that the experience reminds him of what it felt like when he was just starting out. Gene Simmons has said he wishes Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp existed when he was coming up so young artists could learn directly from the legends.

The Rock Camp story has resonated deeply in popular culture, with appearances and coverage spanning The Simpsons, Billions, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, and Pawn Stars.

The documentary ROCK CAMP is currently available for free on Amazon, YouTube, and all major streaming platforms.

The Rock Camp podcast continues to spotlight unforgettable stories from artists and campers alike.

“For 30 years, Rock Camp has been about one thing — changing lives through music,” says founder David Fishof. “We’ve watched people rediscover their passion, gain confidence, and fulfill dreams they never thought possible. And we’ve seen the artists experience the same joy by giving back. Fishof adds, “What’s always amazed me is the caliber of people who walk through our doors, we’ve had government leaders, professors, doctors, tech pioneers — and an incredible number of women musicians who absolutely crush it. Rock Camp proves that music isn’t about age, gender, or profession. It’s about passion.”

As Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp celebrates its 30th year, the mission remains the same: no competition, no judgment — just music, connection, and the experience of a lifetime!

MY BLOODLINE Drop 10th Self-Released Single ‘Enemy of Coral Bay’

Finnish modern hard rock band My Bloodline released a new single ‘Enemy of Coral Bay’ on February 3rd 2026.

LISTEN to the track on streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/my-bloodline-enemy

The band comments:

“The original instrumental demo of the track contained more tempo shifts and song parts. Characteristic to the writing process of the band, everyone takes part in writing, composing and arranging the songs. Enemy of Coral Bay was no exception. Toward the end of the writing process the song had been shortened quite a bit with all unnecessary gimmickry removed. The end result is a straight-forward hard rock piece just under 3 minutes, steaming on with low-end guitar riffs, a 2-piece guitar solo and hypnotizing guitar harmonics with attacking vocals.

The lyrical theme in all simplicity stems from contrast: that soothing, happy and peaceful moment in time on a stranded beach on holiday when everything is and should be as good as it will ever get. But it’s hard to hide in sunlight. Those worrying thoughts about everything that could go wrong will start soon creeping in. Thoughts that are impossible to get rid of. Enemy of Coral Bay is used as a metaphor, a physical representation if you will, of those thoughts looping and looping, around and around.“

  • Composed & lyrics Arto Hasu, Tommi Rauvala, Eelis Keijama, Jarmo Havukunnas, Jarmo Kortelahti
  • Produced, recorded & mixed by Mika Haapasalo
  • Mastered by Jonas W. Karlsson / NorthSound
  • Cover art by Daniel Westerlund
  • ISRC: FI-NWJ-26-00001

My Bloodline is a modern hard rock band from the Helsinki metropolitan area that solidified its final lineup in 2023.

By the winter of 2026, the band has released ten self-published songs in several installments. Their debut EP, Afterlife Limited, was released in 2024 and features five tracks. The EP’s opening song, Spirit, remains one of the band’s most listened-to tracks thanks to its catchy riffs and memorable choruses.

The recording sessions continued the following year with the release of four new singles, including Whiteout Moon, which spent several months on Spotify’sVolume Suomi playlist. The band already has new material lined up for release in the coming winter and spring, carrying their familiar sound while trying to bring something new to the table.

The band consists of five members: Tommi (drums), Eelis (guitar), Jake (bass), Arto (vocals), and Japo (guitar). From the very beginning, My Bloodline has written all of its own material, with every member taking part in the songwriting process. Perhaps this is why the band has found a distinctive sound that sits between bottom-heavy guitars and more melodic musical passages.

All of the band’s releases have been produced, recorded, and mixed by veteran professional musician Mika Haapasalo, whose influence can be heard in the arrangements and harmonies that define the band’s polished productions.

My Bloodline has also performed selected live shows across Southern Finland, and plans to significantly increase its live activity during this year.

Line-up:
Arto Hasu – Vocals
Tommi Rauvala – Drums
Eelis Keijama – Rhythm Guitar
Jarmo Havukunnas – Bass
Jarmo Kortelahti – Lead Guitar

Thrash Metal Veterans HEATHEN Sign with Napalm Records

Posted by tarjavirmakari on February 3, 2026

Bay Area thrash metal veterans HEATHEN have begun a new era, joining forces with Napalm Records. With a new album in the works as well, the San Francisco icons kick off the new partnership with a special treat for their loyal fans. Digging deep into their musical past, the band recorded two rather obscure tracks from other bands the members were involved with. Up first is “Never A God”, title track of Laughing Dead’s first demo. The band was fronted by HEATHEN vocalist David White in the early 90s—the classic song will now shine once again in HEATHEN’s powerful style.

HEATHEN about the signing:
“We’re very proud to announce that HEATHEN has officially signed with Napalm Records! Joining forces with a team who shares our vision, our drive, and our passion for metal music. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band. We’re fired up for what’s coming and can’t wait to complete work on the new HEATHEN album!”

Napalm Records Senior A&R Sebastian Muench about the signing:
“We are incredibly proud and excited to welcome the legendary Californian thrash metal band HEATHEN to the Napalm Records family. HEATHEN are true icons of the genre, and working with them is an absolute honor. We strongly believe in this partnership and are thrilled to take the next chapter of HEATHEN’s legacy to new heights together.”

Watch the official music video for “Never A God”:

HEATHEN emerged from the San Francisco scene in 1984, leading the Bay Area thrash metal scene in their early years. Breaking The Silence (1987) and Victims Of Deception (1991) are staples of West Coast metal. After a few years of hiatus, they returned in 2001, their albums rare, but heavy-hitting – stay tuned! For now, they offer the Never A God maxi single available in exclusive formats listed below. The title track is available now!

HEATHEN about “Never A God”:
“We’re going to start this new partnership with Napalm Records off with a bang and give you something new to listen to while we continue to work on the new HEATHEN album. With that in mind, we recorded a couple of classic Bay Area Thrash tracks originally written by other bands that we played with in the early 1990s. The demo collectors out there may have heard these songs before, but they’ll be new to most of you. The first single is ‘Never A God’, originally recorded in demo form (with David White on vocals) by Laughing Dead. So, new record label, new music, new video, 12” Maxi Single pre-order, and a tour with Coroner in North America starting tomorrow. LFG!”

BEHEMOTH Release Visually Stunning Music Video for ‘Nomen Barbarvm’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on February 3, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: Behemoth. Leave a comment

Polish extreme metal pioneers BEHEMOTH have unleashed a visually stunning and fiercely thematic music video for their track ‘Nomen Barbarvm,’ a standout song from their critically acclaimed latest album, The Shit Ov God.

The apocalyptic video, directed by Dariusz Szermanowiczr, features deeply symbolic visuals, including references to occult traditions and a deliberate subversion of religious iconography, consistent with BEHEMOTH‘s artistic mission. Expect high-level cinematic quality, utilizing dramatic lighting, elaborate costumes, and special effects to create a dark, epic narrative

Fans can view the new music video now on the band’s official YouTube channel.

BEHEMOTH have several upcoming tours and festival shows in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, starting in early February. Scroll to the bottom for all confirmed dates!

Nergal commented:
““I create as I speak.” Isn’t that, in essence, Crowley’s “Do what thou wilt”- just cast in slightly different words? This idea became the lyrical leitmotif of Nomen Barbarvm, arguably one of the most melodic, yet also deeply groove-driven tracks Behemoth have ever committed to tape. In just a moment, we’ll be putting it to the test live on our upcoming tour.

What you’re about to see is a music video we’re immensely proud of, created in collaboration with Group 13. But you already know what that combination means- uncompromising quality and a message art vision that doesn’t compromise!

When the going gets tough, metal gets heavier. SYLOSIS have always been devoted to the fine art of breaking necks, but in recent times, the urgency of their mission has grown exponentially. Still surfing on a wave of acclaim and the effusive fan response to their last album, 2023’s A Sign Of Things To Come, Josh Middleton’s virtuoso wrecking crew are poised to release their latest and best album, The New Flesh. A towering testament to destructive riffing, incisive melody and refined brute force, the band’s seventh full-length offering is a powerful showcase for the state of SYLOSIS in 2025: lethal, uncompromising, and avowedly metal as all hell.

The New Flesh is a fearsome statement of renewed intent. Harder, heavier and more ruthless than its predecessor, it is full of the kind of explosive, riff-driven anthems that guarantee carnage in the pit. But this is no exercise in mindless bludgeon: instead, Josh Middleton has penned his most evocative and thought-provoking songs to date. From the punishing grooves and breakneck viciousness of the opening ‘Beneath The Surface‘, to the epic conflagration of album closer ‘Seeds In The River‘, The New Flesh is an artful and nuanced take on the pure metal that SYLOSIS hold close to their hearts. This is brutality and catchiness in perfect symbiosis.

Dark and destructive, but dynamic and diligent, SYLOSIS are on blistering, career-best form on The New Flesh. The purposeful reset that began with The Sign Of Things To Come has evolved into something unstoppable, and the band’s latest work brims with confidence and authority. If it’s skull-shattering, 21st century heavy metal you want, The New Flesh brings it like never before.
