Hard rock legends NIGHT RANGER are proud to unveil their newly remastered version of their 1983 single, “(You Can Still) Rock in America (2026),” taken from their upcoming ‘Best Of’ album, set for release on August 28th via Frontiers Music Srl. The new single arrives alongside an official video, available below.

‘Best Of’ features newly remixed & remastered versions of classic hits spanning NIGHT RANGER’s illustrious career, alongside some standout tracks from the band’s more recent releases. The album will be released on both CD and Vinyl. The double LP is available in 3 different colors: black, gold, & orange splatter.

“The new ‘Best Of’ is a celebration of not only our classic hits but also what we’ve created over the last 20 years. And we’re just gonna keep cranking it cause we’re having too much fun to stop! So enjoy the ride and see ya on the road!” – Jack Blades

Few bands have defined the sound of American melodic rock quite like NIGHT RANGER. From the soaring anthem of “Sister Christian” to the thunderous riffs of “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”, and fan favorites like “You Can Still) Rock in America” this album’s ‘Best Of’ collection captures the very essence of their decades-long career — now refreshed for 2026.

Featuring the classic hits alongside and standout tracks from their more recent albums, this compilation spans the full spectrum of NIGHT RANGER’s signature sound: anthemic choruses, blazing guitar solos, and unforgettable melodies. Highlights include the power-pop perfection of “(You Can Still) Rock in America,” the heartfelt balladry of “When You Close Your Eyes,” and the cinematic sweep of “Four in the Morning.”

But the ‘Best Of’ is not just a look back. It also celebrates the band’s creative output over the last 20 years, spotlighting tracks like “Time of Our Lives,” “High Road,” “No Time to Lose,” “Somehow Someway,” and “Truth,” proving that NIGHT RANGER’s energy, songwriting, and musicianship have only grown stronger with time. These songs show that the band continues to innovate while staying true to the melodic rock roots that made them legendary.

The band — Jack Blades (bass and vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums and vocals), Brad Gillis (guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards), and Keri Kelli (guitars) — delivers every track with the energy and precision that have kept NIGHT RANGER at the forefront of rock for more than four decades.

This ‘Best Of” album also features two bonus tracks that make this collection of songs truly special: a fresh take on “Wasted Time” recorded live off the floor at Sweetwater Studios, also accompanied by an exclusive music video, and a festive live performance of “Feliz Navidad” that showcases the band’s playful side.

Perfectly timed ahead of their summer 2026 tour, this ‘Best Of’ album serves as both a definitive introduction for new fans and a must-have collection for longtime followers. Whether revisiting the classics or discovering the new 2026 remasters, NIGHT RANGER’s ‘Best Of’ is a celebration of enduring melodies, electrifying performances, and the unforgettable spirit of one of rock’s most iconic bands.

Swedish metal force SARCATOR has officially signed a worldwide record deal with Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM). The partnership marks a significant new chapter for one of Scandinavia’s most exciting rising metal acts as it continues its relentless ascent on the international stage.

Having built a reputation through three acclaimed studio albums, explosive live performances, and a fearless approach to songwriting, SARCATOR is now preparing the next phase of its evolution together with Reigning Phoenix Music. Further details regarding the band’s upcoming fourth studio album will be revealed soon.

The band comments:
“Promising news, friends! We have officially partnered up with the German-American powerhouse Reigning Phoenix Music. As you may know, this fresh new label has already come to be the home for acts such as Opeth, Deicide & Meshuggah to name a few. So apart from being in good company, we believe this partnership will support the band as we break new ground, forward! Onwards! Stay tuned for what’s next.”

Emerging from Sweden’s thriving extreme metal underground, SARCATOR has quickly become one of the most compelling new forces in metal. Blending blackened aggression, death metal intensity, thrash energy and a strong sense of melody, the band has developed a sound they describe as “death’s rock”; a bold and dynamic expression that reflects both their roots and their continuous evolution.

Welcoming SARCATOR to the RPM roster, Reigning Phoenix Music co-founder Gerardo Martinez states:

“Every few years you run into a band that truly shakes your foundation and makes you realize that Heavy Metal will be here for eternity. That band is SARCATOR. Truly, one of the bands that will take Metal into the future and one band to pay attention to in present day. What a pleasure to have them on RPM!”

Lambros Kokkinos, who will be working closely with the band on behalf of the label throughout this next chapter, adds:

“The exciting thing about SARCATOR is that it still feels like a secret. The kind of band you discover before everybody else does. And I have a feeling that 10 years from now, we’ll look back at this moment and be very happy we were there early.”

Between the ages of just 14 and 20, the members of SARCATOR released their first demo tape, Visions of Purgatory, through Redefining Darkness Records in 2019. Only two years later, the band received a nomination for Best Rock/Metal Album at Sweden’s prestigious P3 Guld Awards for its self-titled debut album, released in 2020.

Following the release of the second album Alkahest via Black Lion Records in 2022, SARCATOR expanded its live activities, quickly establishing a reputation for fierce, blackened performances that continue to captivate audiences across Europe and beyond.

The third studio album Swarming Angels & Flies, released in early 2025 via Century Media Records, represented a major artistic and career milestone, further expanding the band’s reach and recognition through touring with the likes of Hellripper, 1349, Midnight, and others, as well as earning a nomination for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Album” at Sweden’s Grammis Awards (other nominees were Sabaton, The Haunted, The Hellacopters and winners Ghost).

Now entering a new era with Reigning Phoenix Music, SARCATOR is preparing to unveil it’s fourth studio album in 2026, reinforcing their position among the leading names of a new wave of Scandinavian extreme metal!

SARCATOR Live Dates:
17.07.2026 Ponteareas (Spain) – Arcanxo Festival
28.07.2026 Munich (Germany) – Backstage / Free & Easy, with Sacred Reich
30.07.2026 Hamburg (Germany) – MS Stubnitz, with Sacred Reich

06.08.2026 Schlotheim (Germany) – Party.San Festival

SATAN TAKES A HOLIDAY Release Grand, Dreamlike Reimagining of Suicide’s Timeless Classic ‘Dream Baby Dream’

Swedish rock powerhouse Satan Takes A Holiday return with their new single Dream Baby Dream, released June 19 via Icons Creating Evil Art, continuing the second chapter of their ambitious album project Covering Our Tracks, culminating in the full album release on September 18.

Following the releases of State Trooper and Good Ones, the band now take on one of the most revered and untouchable songs in alternative music history: Dream Baby Dream by the legendary New York duo Suicide. First released in 1979, the song has inspired generations of artists through its hypnotic repetition, emotional intensity and haunting sense of hope and longing.

Rather than attempting to recreate the sparse minimalism of the original, Satan Takes A Holiday approach the song from an entirely different angle. Their version preserves the dreamlike atmosphere and emotional core while expanding it into something larger, louder and more cinematic. What begins in a haze of longing gradually unfolds into soaring indie rock crescendos, transforming the song into a grand and euphoric celebration without losing its hypnotic pulse.

“Dream Baby Dream, the greatest song in the world. It just is. A mad undertaking, but we couldn’t help ourselves. And with the greatest song in the world, the result could only be something different. Even for us.”

The result is both reverent and fearless — a reinterpretation that embraces the weight of the original while allowing Satan Takes A Holiday‘s own identity to shine through. By blending shimmering melodies, towering guitars and their trademark sense of urgency, the band uncover new dimensions within a song that many would consider impossible to improve upon.

With Covering Our Tracks, Satan Takes A Holiday are not simply paying tribute to the artists that shaped them. They are exploring how great songs can evolve, crossing genres, generations and expectations in the process. From Bruce Springsteen to Charli XCX, and now Suicide, each release reaffirms the band’s unique ability to find common ground between seemingly distant musical worlds.

As Covering Our Tracks continues to unfold, Satan Takes A Holiday further cement their reputation as one of Sweden’s most adventurous and uncompromising rock bands — honoring the past while relentlessly pushing forward.

Over the years, Satan Takes A Holiday have built a strong international following through extensive touring across Europe and high-profile support slots with acts such as KISS, The Sonics, Juliette Lewis, Backyard Babies and Imperial State Electric. Their releases have earned praise from Classic Rock, Louder Sound and Rock Hard, alongside radio support from BBC 6 Music — including spins from Iggy Pop — as well as Sweden’s P3 and Bandit Rock.

SoundsRock Agency is thrilled to announce KINGCROWN to their roster.

KingCrown is a French power metal band founded in 2018 by brothers Jo and David Amore following their time in Nightmare and the name change of the project Öblivïon, with which they had released the album “Resilience.” In November 2019, the band released the album “A Perfect World” through Rock Of Angels Records. After losing some members during the pandemic, the Amore brothers rebuilt the lineup by recruiting Bob Saliba, Seb Chabot, and Ced Legger.

In 2022, the group released “Wake Up Call,” an album featuring more aggressive compositions focused on personal and social awakening. After touring various European festivals and supporting Girlschool and Alcatrazz in Germany and Belgium between 2023 and 2024, the band announced their new album, “Nova Atlantis,” in November 2024, produced by Simone Mularoni (DGM). This latest work deepens the group’s sound, blending mythological and historical atmospheres inspired by legends. Influenced by bands like Iron Maiden, Gamma Ray, Symphony X, Masterplan, and Helloween, KingCrown’s style has evolved over the years toward greater power and directionality while maintaining catchy choruses and a melodic approach.

Finnish Turku-based melodic death metal band Frostbite Terror are set to release their debut album “Into The Frozen Depths’ on July 24th 2026 via Inverse Records. The new single and music video ‘Maan multa’ is unleashed today and it’s available on all essential streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/frostbite-terror-maan-multa

–Composed by Olli Kuure & Otso Turunen
–Lyrics by Otso Turunen
–Produced, mixed & mastered by Ian Perring
–ISRC: FI3FC2687605
–Single cover by Vitas Medvedev

“This time we burrow in deep Finnish melancholy. We’ve got some beautiful nature here, so we thought why not use it in the music video. The growing autumnal darkness was made for this video. The song comes together from parts delving deeper into Finnish melancholy and national psyche. Right from the start we had a vision for Jukka Laaksonen from Restriction Line and Kaukaisuus to take up the lead vocals. You can hear and feel the pain from Jukka’s vocals, leading into the song’s theme.” – Olli Kuure / Composition, arrangement

“The guys suggested I should come and record some vocal for their next single. After a short consideration I decided to jump in and it ultimately came out really great.” – Jukka Laaksonen / Guest vocals

“When I first heard the mid-tempo, gloomy progression of the song I immediately thought of traditional 2000s Finnish metal in the vein of Kotiteollisuus and Timo Rautiainen. I started writing the lyrics from a patriotic point of view, but ended up also including some criticism. Finnish sisu (perseverance) is a great thing, but a stubborn nature also leads to repeating past mistakes and unnecessary idolization of suffering. Even though the topic is serious the music video has some humor, so it shouldn’t get all that preachy.“ – Otso Turunen / Lyrics, arrangement

Into The Frozen Depths Track list:

  1. Frost And Snow
  2. Tracks On The Snow
  3. What Do The Dead Care
  4. Cheap Tricks
  5. Maan Multa
  6. Gehenna
  7. Into The Depths
  8. The Hero (Has Fallen)
  9. Frosty Adventures
  10. Happy Ox (bonus track)
