NUUTTI HANNULA RADIANSSI will release their debut single ‘Vapaan tahdon sirpaleet’ from their upcoming album “Metamorfoosi” on May 17, 2024. The song combines heavy rhythmic riffing, melodic vocal melodies, and an evocative atmosphere. The theme of the lyrics revolves around the timeless question of free will, allowing each listener the opportunity to interpret the text in their own way.
Nuutti Hannula Radianssi is a band led by Nuutti Hannula, who serves as a singing drummer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. The band’s output blends progressive, atmospheric metal with Finnish lyrics. Also part of the ensemble are keyboardist Ilari Hannula and guitar and studio wizard Matias Lehtoranta.
Swedish death/doom dealers OCTOBER TIDE premiere music video for the song “Unprecedented Aggression”, taken from the band’s seventh studio album “The Cancer Pledge”, out now on Agonia Records.
Recent output has seen OCTOBER TIDE tone down on the doom particle, and throw the listener in a colder embrace of a melodic death metal rainstorm. This trend remains consistent on “The Cancer Pledge”, and overlaps with the direction spearheaded by guitarist Fredrik Norrman (ex-Katatonia, ex-Trees Of Eternity, Thenighttimeproject), keen on rejuvenating OCTOBER TIDE with a touch of the past. “It’s a direct continuation of the previous album,” states Norrman. “Less doom and more death metal, yet melodic and with more layers. I’ve searched for inspiration in records I listened to in the 80’s and 90’s when I grew up. But it still sounds like October Tide.”
The sound of OCTOBER TIDE, aside from being doom intertwined melodeath, is fronted by emotionally compelling guitarwork, known to subside into melancholic and introspective tones. Even though the band has shapeshifted over the years – starting off as a duo of Katatonia fame musicians, FredrikNorrman and Jonas Renske, back in 1994 – it has retained and evolved its trademark formula. The present-day line-up, intact since 2016, features said guitarist & founder Fredrik Norrman, second guitarist & Fredrik‘s brother Mattias Norrman (ex-Katatonia), vocalist Alexander Högbom (ex-Demonical), bassist Johan Jönsegård (Letters From The Colony) and drummer Jonas Sköld (Letters From The Colony / Thenighttimeproject).
“The Cancer Pledge” was recorded and produced in 2023 by OCTOBER TIDE and Karl Daniel Lidén (Bloodbath, Katatonia). The latter mixed and master the album, whose cover artwork was designed by Albin Högbom.

Prepare for an exhilarating journey as Fight The Fade invites you into the heart of the storm with “Eye Of The Hurricane“, the third single from their highly anticipated album, slated for release in late 2024 from FiXT.
“Eye Of The Hurricane” emerges as a anthemic powerhouse. With its relentless energy and anthemic hooks, “Eye Of The Hurricane” serves as a rallying cry for the defiant and the determined. The song’s lyrics speak to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity, urging listeners to find their strength and rise above the chaos. “Eye Of The Hurricane” addresses the experience of feeling overwhelmed by someone who exudes self-importance. It channels the frustration of being overshadowed by such individuals, likening them to storms devoid of substance. Evolving from its initial lyrical concept, the track underwent a transformation with the addition of storm sound effects in the bridge, immersing listeners in the midst of a tempest, effectively capturing the intensity and chaos of the situation.
“I think we’ve all had someone in our lives who thinks the world revolves around them. ‘Eye Of The Hurricane’ is a battle cry to anyone who has felt steamrolled by one of those people. Many of those people are all thunder and no lightning,” explains Fight The Fade’s Zene Smith.
Known for pulling together influences from rock, metal, and electronic music, Fight the Fade has forged an unmistakable sonic identity that wraps heartfelt lyrical themes within a robust production style and delivers them with nuanced and diverse writing approaches. The band’s work ethic and innovative blend of genres led them to an album deal with independent electronic rock label FiXT in late 2020, with Fight the Fade releasing singles throughout 2021, leading to a full-length album APOPHYSITIS released in July 2022.
Golden Robot Records are proud to announce the signing of internationally acclaimed band Cairo Knife Fight to its roster. Alongside this exciting news, the band reveals the release of their latest single titled ‘AFTERBIAS,’ set to drop on April 26, 2024.
‘AFTERBIAS’ emerges as a poignant tribute and a profound musical journey. Lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Nick Gaffaney shares the inspiration behind the track, stating, “AFTERBIAS is a riff I had kicking around for years and just couldn’t find a home for. Following the death of my first bandmate, Aaron Tokona, it took on a new life and seemed to be the right sound at the right time. Lyrically everything fell into place quickly and it can really be seen as a message to him, something I think he would’ve loved.”
The single carries a depth of emotion and significance, serving as an homage to Gaffaney’s late friend and collaborator. With profound lyrics that resonate with personal connection, ‘AFTERBIAS’ encapsulates a raw energy and an evocative narrative, inviting listeners into an immersive musical experience.
Recording ‘AFTERBIAS’ at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 was a dream realized for Cairo Knife Fight. Gaffaney reflects on the experience, expressing gratitude for the opportunity, “Having the chance to make that kind of statement about an old friend and putting it all together in an environment like Studio 606 was a dream come true and not something you get to do every day. I’ll always be grateful for that opportunity.”
Golden Robot Records is thrilled to welcome Cairo Knife Fight to its esteemed family of artists. Known for their innovative sound and electrifying performances, Cairo Knife Fight brings a unique blend of musical prowess and emotional resonance to the label’s repertoire.
Gary Poole, the band’s manager, says, “It’s especially rare these days to find a label that actually cares about the music and the artist as opposed to social media numbers. Mark Alexander-Erber ONLY cares about the music and the artist. We’re grateful he was a huge fan of our band, and went out of his way to find us! We look forward to a long, successful run with Golden Robot Records and the incredible team Mark has assembled there.”
With its official launch slated for April 26, 2024, ‘AFTERBIAS’ promises to captivate audiences worldwide with its compelling narrative and infectious melodies.
Cairo Knife Fight is redefining what two musicians can create live, slaying audiences across the globe with their beautiful, yet raw and primal uniqueness. Formed in New Zealand, and now splitting their time between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Cairo Knife Fight is:
Nick Gaffaney on lead vocals, drums and keyboard bass (all at the same damn time) and… George Pajon Jr. (Grammy winning guitarist for some of the biggest names in the business: Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, Carlos Santana, Macy Gray, John Legend, Nas and Sting, just to name a few) creating seemingly limitless guitar soundscapes and incendiary riffs.
The band’s incorporation of various loops and live treatments defies believability and pushes the limits of what two musicians can do on one stage.

“Nosferatu” tunes into the melodic shoegaze/alternative rock/nu-metal side of the group, with slamming dropped tuned guitars, and hard-hitting vocals. Lyrics like “No I won’t bend. Black hole of a room w bad souls again. Fiending off my energy, and my energy is my currency therefore making them my enemies. My magic gets tainted even if I came powerful (damaging my stamina.) And the second I disconnected, I got showers full of blessings. Always trust your gut” showcasing the songwriting talent of the group, while genius instrumentation and mixing showcase talent of producers like long-time collaborator “illgorythmz”.
“I am very excited about this project, it’s my favorite music I’ve ever made.” -Diz (vocals, rhythm guitar, and sound samples for Dizasterpiece)
Their fans have described their performances as “high energy”, and “warming and welcoming” to the fanbase. With intricate lyrics, dropped-tuned seven-string guitars, DJ samples, and mosh pits, Dizasterpiece gives audiences the best of rock and metal, with tastes from many other genres along the way. With influences ranging all the way from System Of A Down, Glassjaw and Converge to Deftones, Incucbus, Skarhead, The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza, Sevendust, Senses Fail, Limp Bizkit, and Madball to Wu-Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, MF DOOM, and The Beatles, Dizasterpiece binds the best of hip-hop with elements of hard rock, punk, and New York hardcore, and strives to create original music full of passion and true craftsmanship.
“We want to move people in a way that empowers them and inspires them to create their own project, band, art, or destiny. We want to re-enforce concept of confidence and self-belief in our listeners or just anyone in general.” -Levi Parkas, bass player for Dizasterpiece
“We want to show audiences that there still is a way to reach the masses with out-of-the-norm music, rather than just jumping on whatever is trending. We want to exemplify that there doesn’t need to be many rules with genre-blending, nor rules about what is categorized as what, and how you’re supposed to look, act, or dress. We want to exemplify that people still DO care about lyrics.” -Diz, vocals, guitar, and sound samples
“We want to demonstrate that when life presents to you what’s for you, your only way of appreciating life itself is by fully emerging yourself in it.” -ScottyP da Shredda, lead guitar
“Whether it’s 1 fan or 1,000 fans, we play with our entire heart for YOU! We are where we are because of our fans! Not only do we try to inspire, but you inspire us to keep writing music you love! Keep being awesome fans! We truly love you for it!” -Brook “Thundersticks” Kraushaar, drums
“Nothing is more fulfilling than being able to bring out folks from all different scenes and cultures into one bubbly melting pot of passionate, sexy people! If the music moves you, that is the only prerequisite, and nothing makes me happier than being able to build those bridges between whoever it touches.” -Dylan Walker, rhythm guitar/bass
Check out Dizasterpiece’s new single “Nosferatu” and look out for their mind-bending new album “ZZONEBOUND [QRX4-Notion]”, out on May 17th.
Following their recent signing with Drakkar Entertainment and a previously-released, first single taken off their upcoming, sophomore studio album coming soon, Berlin-based rock and metal upstarters HERBST have shared a brand new song! An official music video for “Spiegel” (engl. for “mirror”) is now streaming below!
When the leaves fall and the wind blows through the streets of Berlin, it’s time for HERBST [engl. Autumn]. The German rock and metal upstarts have dedicated themselves to the rough and dark sound that breaks through the music scene like a storm. With heavy riffs and gripping beats they hit the Zeitgeist – intense and unmistakably melodic!
The four-piece featuring Oliver Weckert – with his distinctively melodic voice -, Mark Rötz on bass/backing vocals, Steffen Böhm on drums and Niels Gebhardt on guitar, stands for music that gets under your skin. Although their lyrics come in German, they try to reflect life in an unvarnished way that leave no listener untouched. Authenticity isn’t an empty promise here – it’s the foundation of every HERBST note.
“Like our first single, the song ‘Spiegel’ was also created at the beginning of the album songwriting sessions in 2023 and quickly set a riveting theme with the groovy riff. After the first written lines, namely the chorus hook, the theme of a mirror image emerged and then the song practically wrote itself (if it were that easy).” The band reveals.
“Mirrors have a tremendous power over us… in everyday life…, for better or for worse. They make us look strong – sometimes weak. We love and we hate mirrors, we fear them and deny them. And We quickly realized that we wanted to make a strong video for the song. We think we succeeded.”
With their much-acclaimed debut album, “Ein letzter Abend” [engl. “A last evening”], the band quickly took the German rock scene by storm, now, it’s time for a next chapter in HERBST‘s uprising career! Watch out for many more album details to follow soon, the music video for their latest single “Spiegel” (out now on all digital streaming providers via https://herbst.bfan.link/spiegel) is premiering here:
