German rising symphonic metal force ELVELLON is back with an electrifying announcement as they unveil their captivating new single, “The Aftermath Of Life“, from their upcoming album Ascending in Synergy, set to be released this Friday, May 17, 2024! “The Aftermath Of Life“ is accompanied by an official music video that promises to seduce the listener’s senses.

Dubbed as “heroes of tomorrow“ by Metal Hammer Germany, ELVELLON is no stranger to praise. Following their critically acclaimed 2018 album, Until Dawn, which featured the track “Born From Hope“, which amassed over 1.3M views and 2.5M streams across platforms, the hype for Ascending in Synergy is palpable. Since their inception in 2010, ELVELLON has already graced stages at prestigious festivals such as RockHarz Festival, M’era Luna, and Rock Fest Barcelona, both at home and abroad.

The countdown is on, so ensure you’ve secured your pre-order to experience the magic!

ELVELLON state:
“´The Aftermath Of Life´ is a song that perfectly combines two different sides of Elvellon, which are heavy guitar riffs with dark keyboard sounds and big choruses with catchy melodies. Thematically, it’s about the process that all of us who have made it to this day can accept decay and aging as part of life and make peace with it.”

Pre-Order Ascending in Synergy NOW

Ascending in Synergy proves that this promising German unit is on top of their game and skillfully manages to balance the tightrope act between diving into the early beginnings of symphonic metal, yet splicing all songs with a contemporary vibe. Opening track “Unbound” impresses with skillful orchestral arrangements and vocalist Nele Messerschmidt’s extraordinary voice. Dramatic, dark soundscapes and heavy riffs on songs like “Ocean Of Treason” and “The Aftermath Of Life” keep the listener in a tight grip. ELVELLON’s dreamlike, cinematic side shines especially bright on tracks like “Last Of Our Kind” and “The Aeon Tree”. Massive album finale “Epiphany Of Mine” closes Ascending in Synergy impactfully, leaving the listener wanting for more.

Magical Ascending in Synergy proves that ELVELLON is one of the most promising current bands in the German symphonic metal scene. Join ELVELLON on an exciting journey between childlike wonders and hard-hearted bitterness!

ELVELLON about Ascending in Synergy:
“We are incredibly excited to see how our fans will receive Ascending In Synergy. A lot has happened since our debut album and the songwriting process has changed a lot. It still feels like 100% ELVELLON to us, but the dynamics have expanded. It has become more orchestral and more metal at the same time. Also, lyrically we no longer stick to a single concept, but the songs are held together by a common thread.”

Italian bass master and composer ALBERTO RIGONI is thrilled to announce his brand new project “Nemesis Call – Queens Of Strings”, feat. a super talented drummer from Japan (TBA) and tons of female guitarists such as SAKI, Giusy Busetto, Alexandra Zerner (TBC) and many many others (TBA). Furthermore Alberto has launched also a Fundraising Campaign for the project. 20% of the income will be donated to Lega del Filo d’Oro (https://www.legadelfilodoro.it/it), an Italian association which helps deafblind children!

Alberto shares:
“Hello friends and music lovers! I’m Alberto Rigoni, an Italian composer and.. a BASS GUY! Between 2008 and 2024 I released 13 solo albums, spanning from progressive, rock, ambient to funky and experimental music, which featured also contributions from musicians such as keyboard wizard Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) drummer Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) and Marco Minnemann (the Aristocrats), keyboardist Kevin Moore (ex Dream Theater), singer John Jeff Soto (ex Goran Edman (ex Y. Malmsteen), bassists Nathan East, Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani), Nik West (ex Prince) and many others. I’m also bass player for BAD As, Sunset Groove Society, Kim Bingham, The Italians bands and co-producer of Mistheria’s Vivaldi Metal Project.”

Alberto on the new project Nemesis Call:
“Even if my latest album “Unexpected Lullabies”, dedicated to my new born Vittoria Parini Rigoni, will be released on June 4th 2024, when Vittoria came to life I felt the need to compose new music (yes, I really can’t stop!!!!!). This time will be quite challenging because I’m willing to release an instrumental ambient/prog/rock/metal album, that will feature a talented and young drummer (TBA) and tons of female guitarists (that’s why I will called the album “Queens of the Strings”) such as Alexandra Zerner, YOKA and many others (TBA/TBC)). It won’t be easy to manage all such great musicians but I will make it!! Are you ready to face a new prog experience? The album will be released in Digipack CD and in high quality digital format approximately at the beginning of 2025.”

The Fundraising Campaign:
As an independent artist, Alberto is looking for supporters who can help him in reaching the budget for the production (recordings, mix, mastering, artwork etc.) of this new album and started this fundraising campaign that will end successfully on October 15th 2024.

Finnish Tampere-based alternative stoner rock band RÜCKWATER is set to release their second studio album Bored Machine later this year. The first single Homo Economicus is released today and it’s available on most streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/ruckwater-homo – Single cover by Teuvo Karjalainen.

The band comments:
“The new song “Homo Economicus” by Rückwater strikes straight to the heart with its gritty and straightforward style. In this track, progressive rock and stoner rock merge into a powerful musical storm that grabs you and prompts the listener to contemplate the role of humanity and its relationship with the surrounding world. The energy and rough sound of the song create an intense atmosphere that will linger in your mind.

Rückwater’s expression is direct and honest, without unnecessary embellishments. The band’s music invites you on a journey where you can momentarily forget yourself and fully immerse yourself in the power of the sounds. Step out of your comfort zone and allow yourself to be engulfed in Rückwater’s world.”

SAINT DIABLO Release Savage New ‘Voice On the Phone’ Music Video & Single

Saint Diablo is a savage Latin Metal powerhouse known for their explosive blend of aggressive riffs, driving rhythms, and fervent vocals. Hailing from Virginia, USA, the band infuses their music with Latin influences, creating a unique sound that has set them apart in the metal scene since their inception in 2004. The band just premiered a new music video titled “Voice On the Phone” which is the first single & music video taken from their upcoming EP album The Reckoning which will be released on July 19, 2024 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Chris Anger (III Nino, Wyclef Jean, Luny Tunes) at Sound Republic Studio; engineered by Brandon Dickey & Justin Adams at Revive Studios; and the cover art was created by Chris Anger. The music video for “Voice On the Phone” was directed by Brendan McGlathery at Preta Path Photography.

“Sometimes life is really arduous”, says lead vocalist Tito Quinones. “All I want is to hear is the voice of the one person that gave me strength, but unfortunately they are gone. I know that a kind word from them could fortify me and I cherish their memory as a beacon that hopefully guides me out of the storm. However, all I have is a saved voice mail and photo on my phone. So sometimes I just stare at my phone while I sit in tearful despair. The set location was chosen because it the resembled construction of a home or house, which in the song refers to a place of yearning.” Guitarist Justin Adams adds, “We always try to have as many friends and family as possible around while shooting, so that they can experience how the song’s visual genesis illustrates the energy and creativity it embodies. The day was long but very productive, and we closed the set with a good old Southern BBQ for everyone!” Additionally, bassist Zach San Pietro says “there was a moment where Tito was singing with all his intensity and energy during the last chorus. While I was watching, Justin explained to me what the song was about. Prior to the video shoot, I assumed I knew the song’s meaning, but I only had a shallow understanding of Voice On the Phone. While watching his performance the meaning began to unfold before my eyes!”

Prepare to be immersed in the emotional depths of The Reckoning, the gripping new EP by Saint Diablo that navigates themes of loss, resilience, and self-discovery through its powerful tracks. Produced by Chris Anger at Sound Republic Studio, this EP promises a riveting auditory experience that will leave fans yearning for more. The journey begins with “Voice on the Phone,” a poignant reflection of loss and melancholy coupled with yearning for solace in the midst of despair. With heartfelt lyrics and emotive melodies, Saint Diablo captures the struggle to find footing in turbulent times, clinging to memories of strength and guidance from a departed loved one. Next, “Dame Todo” invites listeners into a passionate declaration of unity and empowerment. Through intimate lyrics that speak directly to fans and supporters, Saint Diablo channels the euphoria of shared purpose and camaraderie. “Cosmic Inferno” delves into darker territory, exploring themes of acceptance and defiance in the face of inner turmoil. The band confronts the notion of embracing one’s flaws and embracing the darkness within, finding strength in the realization that every aspect of their existence serves a purpose. Rounding out the EP is a dynamic live rendition of “Odio,” a fan-favorite anthem that captures the raw energy and intensity of Saint Diablo’s electrifying stage presence. With “The Reckoning,” Saint Diablo delivers a tour de force of emotion and intensity, exploring the complexities of the human experience with unflinching honesty and raw energy. The Reckoning will be released on July 19, 2024 by Eclipse Records.

A FLOURISHING SCOURGE Drop ‘Woe’ Lyric Video

Dive into the depths of darkness with A FLOURISHING SCOURGE as they unveil their latest sonic masterpiece, the lyric video for “WOE.”

“WOE” is a powerful introduction to their forthcoming EP, “The Sickened Seed”, scheduled to be released via Wormholedeath.

This crushing track delves into the abyss of existential dread, exploring the decay of society and the agonizing search for purpose in a world choked by disillusionment. A Flourishing Scourge paints a stark portrait of the human condition, reminding us of our inevitable demise while hinting at a yearning for transcendence amidst the existential maelstrom.

A Flourishing Scourge was formed in 2013 by long-time friends Tye Jones and Josh Keifer as a creative outlet for their shared musical interests. Originally created as a studio project, it quickly gained interest and traction in the Seattle area. By 2015, Andrew Dennis and Kevin Carbrey had filled out the line-up and the band self-released their first EP, As Beauty Fades Away. By the end of 2017, they had firmly established themselves in the northwest metal scene and released their self-titled full-length debut.

After several years of performing in the Seattle area and throughout the West Coast, the band decided to focus on a follow-up album that would truly showcase their writing and musical abilities. The culmination of this effort has resulted in their third studio release, Sickened Seed. Mixed and mastered at Fascination Street Studios, it is the band’s most ambitious work to date.
