Romanian melodic death Metallers MACHIAVELLIAN GOD are releasing a video and single for the song “Eternal Echoes”, that also feature a vocal guest apperance from Teddy Möller (Loch Vostok). It´s taken from the bands upcoming album “Beyond The Void“ that is set to be released on May 10.
Guitarist Mihai Dinuțǎ about “Eternal Echoes”: “ Eternal Echoes,” the last chapter in the story presented through this album, marks the final path in void’s deep. The entire album is a hell of a ride, and in my opinion, this song serves as the perfect conclusion. It represents that moment when you’re done fighting all the demons and fears encountered along the way and you come to the realization that all the pain was in fact the teacher, the guide, the one bringing up the questions and the one making the calls. It served as fuel, but also shaping the journey itself. Musically, it diverges slightly from our previous work, maintaining our essence while adding a new dimension to our sound. The inclusion of Teddy’s vocals at the end adds another layer of depth, making it a decision we’re truly proud of.”
The new album “Beyond The Void” will be released Worldwide on May 10th 2024 and will be followed up with a host of live gigs. The stunning artwork is created by Siro “Seth” Anton.

Italian heavy rock’n’rollers SONIC WOLVES have released a new video for ‘Dead to the World’, taken from their new album “III”. Watch the video below.
Sonic Wolves is an Italian heavy rock’n’roll band, formed in 2012 by drummer Vita (formerly of Ufomammut and currently in Rogue State) and bassist and singer Kayt Vigil (formerly of Pentagram, The Hounds of Hasselvander…Of The Horizon, Syzslak, Hatchetface, ZED, ect., also currently in Rogue State). In the summer of 2022 the band started a collaboration with Nico Nigro (ex Mortuary Drape, Eroded and currently in Suicide Force) on guitar.
Sonic Wolves is based in Alessandria, Italy and was formed in 2012, under the name Tsutar. The band released their first album Before The End Comes in 2016, followed in 2018 by the second full length Sonic Wolves. In 2016 and 2017, two 7” singles were also released- He Said and He Said tour ed.
In spring 2022 a 12” EP It’s All A Game To Me was released, it contains two original songs in tribute to Lemmy and Cliff Burton. In March 2024 the album called III was released on Argonauta Records.
Lee Aaron presents “Even It Up”, the second single taken from her forthcoming new studio album “Tatttoo Me” (Metalville Records – street date April 26).
Lee says about her version of the song: “Heart were a very big influence on me and my music journey. The Wilson sisters were the ‘real deal’ – bad-ass women playing instruments and writing their own music. I loved all their albums up until that point, but “Even It Up” from Bebe Le Strange sent a really strong message about female equality that resonated with me. Songs like “Even it Up” and “Barracuda” were empowering both musically and lyrically and hugely influenced my later work. We slowed our version down and gave it a T-Rex groove which I love. I think it makes it even tougher.”
“Songs are like tattoos” – the famous first line of Joni Mitchell’s Blue – is a sentiment that has always resonated deeply for Canadian rocker Lee Aaron.
18 Albums into her career, Aaron has written, recorded and produced music achieving gold and multi-platinum sales. Recognized as one of Canada’s top rock vocalists she’s also made forays into jazz, blues, and even opera, receiving numerous awards and accolades and most recently, a 2023 induction into Canada’s Walk of Fame.
“The one thing I’d never done was a full covers album,” says Aaron. “It seemed like a really cool and super fun project to tackle at this point…”
Taking a nostalgic journey, Tattoo Me pays homage to musical trailblazers who helped shape her own artistic path. As a reflection of her eclectic taste, yet in keeping with a profound respect for the greats, these 11 dynamic tracksare a unique tapestry of influences that transcend era and genre.
“It started out as a heartfelt nod to artists we’d been influenced by in our youth, but the truth is, we didn’t stop being influenced or being fans at 18, so the list kept evolving. It covers a few decades and a few unconventional choices, but it was incredibly rewarding to make!” she states.
Each track is a labor of love, infused with Aaron and her band’s signature rock ’n’ roll swagger, yet in keeping with a sense of reverence for the originals.
The album was produced by Aaron in her Vancouver studio and mixed by multi-media genius Frank Gryner (Rob Zombie, L7, Def Leppard, Larkin Poe, Ian Hunter and more).
“One of the positive things that came out of the pandemic was that we all upgraded our home studios and got very good at engineering and recording ourselves. No one was under the pressure of a studio clock, so the performances are as genuine as they’re gonna get.”
From the sizzling blues-rock of1960’s Nina Simone’s “The Pusher,” to the rebellious energy of 1972 Alice Cooper’s “Is it My Body,”Aaron growls, purrs, whispers and wails, sounding like she’s having an absolute blast infusing these songs with her own fiery spirit. Her voice is as versatile and powerful as ever.
Standout tracks include a rendition of Led Zeppelin’s “What is and What Should Never Be,” Heart’s “Even it Up” and Hole’s “Malibu.” Stellar performances by Aaron’s long-term band: Sean Kelly (guitar), Dave Reimer (bass) and John Cody (drums) effortlessly channel these ’70s and 80’s rock giants and seem to capture the original magic of each of the tunes.
Another gem is Aaron’s take on Elton John’s “Someone Saved My Life Tonight.” Kelly’s gorgeous acoustic guitars create the soundscape, then strings and lush harmonies support her stirring vocal performance. The tribute is passionate and heart-felt. She reflects, “I spent hours and hours laying on my basement floor with headphones listening to “Someone Saved My Life Tonight” on repeat. I desperately wanted someone to save me from my boring life when I was a teenager…music ended up being that for me.”
The album also takes some unexpected turns, with delightful interpretations of songs from a diverse range of artists, including late 90’s Brit-Pop band Elastica, California’s 77’s and the Undertones. Each track echoes the vibe of the era while seamlessly fitting into the lineage of Aaron’s own storied career.
Tattoo Me is a sonic time capsule, bridging the decades. Once again, cementing her status as a rock ’n’ roll chameleon, Aaron blends the old and the new, proving not only that the transcendent power of music never stops, but that she herself isn’t ready to anytime soon.

“Kismet” is the sprawling new single from Italian psychedelic doom/sludge metal trio UFOMAMMUT, celebrating their 25th Anniversary in 2024. With an animated video that just exclusively premiered at Cvlt Nation, the song is the latest preview of the band’s tenth LP, Hidden, nearing May release on Neurot Recordings/Supernatural Cat Records.
Hidden marks a shift in UFOMAMMUT‘s musical composition, aiming for a more intense and heavy sound, as they have displayed over the prior two releases. The title, Hidden, reflects the concept of the presence of everything in our existence and the ability to bring to light what lies within us. With Hidden, the band delves into a sonic journey that traverses vast expanses of space and time. From the crushing heaviness to the hauntingly melodies, from the textured compositions to the otherworldly atmospheres, Hiddentestifies to the never-ending evolution of UFOMAMMUT and their mastery of creating immersive sonic experiences: a fitting celebration of their 25 years of sonic exploration and experimentation.
Like any good psychedelic trip, the music of UFOMAMMUT has always been inextricably intertwined with visual art, and as always, the artwork, videos, and all visuals/graphics for Hiddenwere created by Malleus Rock Art Lab, the rock/music graphic design collective of which Poia and Urlo are part of with Lu. Hidden was recorded at Flat Scenario Studio in Piemonte, Italy, with Lorenzo Stecconi handling the mixing and mastering, and Luca Grossi overseeing vocal tracking.
The band reveals, “‘Kismet’ represents the divine destiny predetermined by God for us, it embodies the concept of fate and what lies ahead for us. ‘Kismet’ is one of the most profound tracks on the album, delving into the journey of life itself. Like cascading waterfalls reaching for the sky, or droplets ascending towards the sun only to dissipate into the vast universe, our existence moves steadily through time, emanating light and energy that permeates our surroundings. This song encapsulates the essence of the album, distinct from Fenice, which is characterized by monumental riffs yet infused with ethereal atmospheres that redefine our yearning for psychedelia.”
Cvlt Nation writes, “Their riffs are so trippy that listening to this song feels like a sonic shroom trip taking root inside of my brain. UFOMAMMUT are so much more than a doom band, they are a creative unit focused on manifesting mind-altering soundscapes that transcend sound itself.”
Hiddenwill be released on CD, LP, and digital on May 17th, in North America through Neurosis’ Neurot Recordings, the vinyl pressed on a Silver Nugget variant in a gatefold jacket. In Europe, the band’s Supernatural Cat Records will release it, a standard version on 180-gram Marbled Purple And Black variant, and a limited version of 500 copies on 180-gram Crystal Clear variant crafted by hand using photosensitive colors that are activated by sunlight, bringing the concept of the album to life, with multiple bundles and options.

UFOMAMMUT will be touring regularly in support of Hidden, with a long list of tour dates already announced across Europe and the UK through all of May and into June, with much more being plotted. See the current 25 Years Anniversary Tour listings at the band’s website HERE and stand by for updates.
Rising from the ashes of their prior band Judy Corda, UFOMAMMUT formed in the late 1990s by Poia and Urlo (bass, vocals, effects, synths), together with Vita (drums). With Levre taking over on drums in 2021, the band has undergone a rebirth, culminating in the release of the 2022-released Fenice LP, and on Halloween 2023, the Crookhead EP.
Over the course of two-and-a-half decades, UFOMAMMUT has developed a unique sound that combines heavy, dynamic riff worship with a deep understanding of psychedelic tradition in music, which has resulted in a cosmic, futuristic, and technicolor sound that fully immerses listeners. They’ve produced a wide spectrum of albums, EPs, live albums, a box set, compilation tracks, and covers – including a track on the Superunknown Redux Soundgarden tribute album.
Signing to Rockhots Records for their forthcoming album “Mask of Lies” out this June 2024, the UK’s Dendera has been on a steady rise while playing sell-out shows and festivals across Europe and in their home country along with supporting bands such as Sepultura, Queensrÿche, Saxon, Death Angel, Gloryhammer, Skindred, Rhapsody of Fire and many more.
Expertly delivering modern melodic metal, Dendera’s combination of towering clean vocals and powerful screams along with unfaltering musicianship, energetic performances, and stunning choruses has rightfully earned them a reputation as a formidable band. Their steadfast handcrafted approach means they operate almost entirely self-sufficiently. This gives the band the ultimate edge when trying to hone their sound meaning they can push the best from themselves and always deliver professional results.
Following tough times after the COVID-19 pandemic and personal tragedy from within the band, Dendera has fought against the odds to record a stunning third full-length album. Co-produced by themselves and mixed by Alessio Garavello plus featuring a guest solo from Russ Parrish (aka. Satchel – Steel Panther), this album showcases Dendera‘s relentless vision to move forward, using the traumas of the past to write a powerful record that explores personal themes, grittier undertones that showcases their signature strong vocals and multi-layered songwriting approach.
“This album has been far too long coming from us, and we cannot wait to get it out. We really want our fans to hear how much we have grown and give them a treat. The time we have taken to do this has all been to make sure we get it right, and we think the end product reflects that.” adds the band.
To give the first glimpse of the album’s sound, Dendera is sharing the music video for the title track “Maske of Lies”. Starting with double kicks, a crushing riff, and a hard-picked guitar melody, the song takes no time getting to the point. From the intro, screams unleash a four-to-the-floor verse with a huge, aggressive vocal line from frontman Ash.
“This is a song about rising up against oppression that will resonate with many people in the modern world, Mask Of Lies brings an unstoppable chorus with call and response clean and scream vocals. A chorus that is sure to impress live. A heavy and modern breakdown section cements Dendera’s musical shift into a more modern sound before getting to the last chorus with an inspiring and goosebump-raising orchestral break that will have the listener wanting to go back and listen again.”
Recommended for fans of Trivium, Parkway Drive, and Dream Theater, “Mask of Lies” is due out on June 14, 2024, and is available for album pre-order at https://bit.ly/Dendera-MaskOfLies.

Black Swan Productions is very happy to announce the launch of the crowdfunding campaign for Docker’s Guild side project Event Horizon.
The debut album, called The Bright Shadow Years, will contain a collection of the first songs Douglas R. Docker ever wrote, back in 1983-1984, when he 15 years old. They are little vignettes of a new artist still trying to find his style, far away from the complexities of Docker’s Guild, so you will find some country music, rock, ballads, and even ’80s new wave.
All musicians in the band are Docker’s Guild veterans: Helly (drums), Alberto Macerata (bass), Toni Urzì (guitars) and Douglas R. Docker (keyboards and vocals).
The campaign begins on April 1 and closes on June 30, 2024. All money received will go to finance the album, without the usual costs or fees of third party platforms. Also, 10% of all funds will go to Save the Children in Gaza.
NB: the exclusives will be shipped at the end of the campaign (July 2024), except for the CD which will be shipped when released (before the end of 2024)
