Released yesterday, March 15 , on all the world’s top music stores “CARTOMANCER,” the new single from Hell Riders. Also available on Wanikiya Record’s Japanese digital shop and their showcase on Crashsound Distribution. The Hell Riders, are really working hard on their new projects and given the previous single, we can only say that another mega-bomb has arrived!!! Volumes to the max for CARTOMANCER!!!

Discovering the meaning of our lives, seeking answers about our past or future requires some risk and courage since what we are told will affect the rest of our days.

The power of cards, sibyls, magic and all that is incomprehensible to reason unleashes such energy that even the lives of those who believe nothing will be challenged, and the fortune teller, through his tarot cards, will reveal our innermost secrets, can tell our past lives and make happy or damn our future with his words once the cards are turned over on his table.

Whether it is for mere knowledge of knowing everything or whether it is as the last card to be played to know what will become of our lives, the fortune teller will be both our friend and advisor and our worst nightmare and damnation.

Hell Riders were born by Riccardo Marcassa (guitarist) and Davide Girardi (vocals) in January 2018 in Porlezza, Como province. On the first of December the Hell Riders sign a contract with Volcano Records and enter the studio to record the first album on December 17, 2018.

The recordings end on May 24, 2019 with a new drummer, Angelo Cislaghi, while in September of the same year, a new member arrives, young Enea Maina on second guitar. On November 1, 2019, the band’s debut album titled “First Race” was released with Angelo Cislaghi on drums, Caty van Alchemy on bass, Riccardo Marcassa on guitar and Davide Girardi on vocals.

Despite the worldwide pandemic, the infernal bikers’ race does not stop between concerts, writing the second record and in April 9, 2021 they sign with Mr.Jack’s Wanikiya Records / Promotions.

In August 2022 Dave, who remained the only member of the band, picks up new members with whom he will finish touring First Race and writing the second record: Bobo on drums, Ryo on bass, and Francesco Arioli on lead guitar.

Kiwi thrash titans Just One Fix have unleashed, Your Own God Now, the second single from the forthcoming EP, ‘Submit or Death’.

The song follows on from the monstrous Gods & Devils and is a blistering aural barrage that poses questions about Immortality and explores the reality of the burden of being alive.

“Human beings weren’t meant to go around for more than a hundred years, the thought of centuries of existence to me is mortifying and that’s what we are talking about here,” states vocalist Riccardo Ball.

“Your Own God Now” also brings to the fore the riff writing and frenetic playing of guitarist Sharne Scarborough, “The fretwork is a display of technical prowess, with blistering speed and intricate phrasing that adds a melodic touch” is how freelance studio musician and sound engineer Andre Avanessian described it.

RISE OF KRONOS Release New Single ‘Hateful Fury’, German Tour Kicks Off

Greek mythology-inspired death metallers RISE OF KRONOS are back and apparently have big plans for 2024. First of all, the quartet have released a brand new song, “Hateful Fury”, which, on closer inspection, isn’t so brand new: The track comes from the band’s self-produced 2011 debut, where they was still known as “Surface”. The instant headbang classic has now been re-recorded to unleash its full potential with a contemporary, brutal sound and a straightforward arrangement. “Hateful Fury” is now available on all major download and streaming platforms.

In addition, the band has announced a whole series of live dates in Germany, including several shows in autumn as co-headliners on a club tour together with the deathers from Torturized. You can find the confirmed dates below.

British death-doom legends, My Dying Bride, recently announced their 15th studio album, A Mortal Binding, which is set to be released on 19th April. Today, the Yorkshire based sextet have revealed the second single from the record. The solemn, mournful track titled ‘The 2nd of Three Bells’ comes accompanied by a richly gothic video directed by Daniel Gray.

A Mortal Binding, the much-anticipated follow-up to The Ghost of Orion (2020) finds the Yorkshire-based quintet delighting in anxiety, loss, and toil to resplendent effect. From the raw distress of ‘Her Dominion’ and twisted horror of ‘Thornwyck Hymn’ to the funerary violins of the 11-minute monolith ‘The Apocalyptist’ and the classic-feeling ‘The 2nd of Three Bells’, A Mortal Binding is pinnacle My Dying Bride. If Songs of Darkness, Words of Light (2004) elevated the band to new heights and A Map of All Our Failures (2012) expanded upon the group’s mid-tens grandeur, then A Mortal Binding stages My Dying Bride’s next exultant phase of elegiac misery.

My Dying Bride hired The Ghost of Orion studio wizard Mark Mynett to produce, mix, and master A Mortal Binding. The group holed up at Mynett’s Mynetaur Productions (Paradise Lost, Rotting Christ) in Manchester, UK, where they tracked the album consecutively from July to September 2023.
