Swedish progressive metal veterans Loch Vostok are gearing up for the release of the band’s upcoming full-length record, entitled “Opus Ferox II – Mark of the Beast”, which will be coming out on April 19 via ViciSolum Productions. Following the release of the first single “Distant Assistance”, Loch Vostok have shared the next intense glimpse of the soon to be released album today.

The highly anticipated new album by Loch Vostok is the second part of the band’s ongoing ‘Opus Ferox trilogy’ and promises to deliver the same level of intricate modern progressive metal that fans have come to love.

“Opus Ferox II – Mark of the Beast” builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, “Opus Ferox – The Great Escape” (2021), with catchy chorus lines and dynamic songwriting that showcases Loch Vostok‘s signature style. Copenhagen -based extreme metallers LAMENTARI have announced the release of the band’s highly anticipated debut album “Ex Umbra In Lucem“, which will be coming out on May 24th.

The Danish sextet is a force to be reckoned with in the realm of symphonic black metal, seamlessly blending the darkness of metal with the grandeur of a roaring orchestra. Drawing inspiration from cinematic maestros such as Howard Shore and John Williams, LAMENTARI crafts a sonic tapestry that is both dark and majestic. Influenced by the virtuosity of Yngwie Malmsteen and the atmospheric depth of Dimmu Borgir, this band creates a haunting yet captivating musical experience that transports listeners through ethereal and infernal sonic realms. Their intense and mesmerizing sound has already earned them opportunities to perform at renowned festivals such as Wacken and Copenhell, as well as sharing stages with bands such as Moonsorrow and Tsjuder.

The release of “Ex Umbra In Lucem” will encompass even deeper dives into the devious sounds of the grand orchestra with brass, woodwind and string parts recorded at the legendary AIR Studios in London (known for scores such as ‘Dune’, ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ and used by artists such as Coldplay, Radiohead, Paul McCartney and Adele).

“Ex Umbra In Lucem” will be released by LAMENTARI on May 24th. The standard edition first pressing will be released on marble vinyl. Limited editions will include a handmade wooden oxidized patina sleeve. Pre-orders will be available in April. More details to be announced.

MARCO D’ANDREA Unleashes New Single And Video ‘One day’, Out Now

“One day” is the prelude to the third solo album by Marco D’Andrea, co-founder and leader of Planethard, who just last summer were the backing band for Deep Purple’s Italian tour, with notable compliments from the great rock group.

After the excellent response to his first solo album “EVERYTHING I HAVE TO SAY,” and the prestigious “Opera Rock,” which revisited some of the most important pieces of operatic music in a rock key, here is “One day” the single that paves the way for the third album planned for early summer.

Marco is an over-the-top guitarist who alternates his career as a musician, teaching and producing, which among other things gave birth to the excellent artistic debut of Venus with the album “Two-0-One-9,” demonstrating Marco’s abilities in power metal as well.

Discovering the meaning of our lives, seeking answers about our past or future requires some risk and courage since what we are told will affect the rest of our days.

The power of cards, sibyls, magic and all that is incomprehensible to reason unleashes such energy that even the lives of those who believe nothing will be challenged, and the fortune teller, through his tarot cards, will reveal our innermost secrets, can tell our past lives and make happy or damn our future with his words once the cards are turned over on his table.

Whether it is for mere knowledge of knowing everything or whether it is as the last card to be played to know what will become of our lives, the fortune teller will be both our friend and advisor and our worst nightmare and damnation.

Hell Riders were born by Riccardo Marcassa (guitarist) and Davide Girardi (vocals) in January 2018 in Porlezza, Como province. On the first of December the Hell Riders sign a contract with Volcano Records and enter the studio to record the first album on December 17, 2018.

The recordings end on May 24, 2019 with a new drummer, Angelo Cislaghi, while in September of the same year, a new member arrives, young Enea Maina on second guitar. On November 1, 2019, the band’s debut album titled “First Race” was released with Angelo Cislaghi on drums, Caty van Alchemy on bass, Riccardo Marcassa on guitar and Davide Girardi on vocals.

Despite the worldwide pandemic, the infernal bikers’ race does not stop between concerts, writing the second record and in April 9, 2021 they sign with Mr.Jack’s Wanikiya Records / Promotions.

In August 2022 Dave, who remained the only member of the band, picks up new members with whom he will finish touring First Race and writing the second record: Bobo on drums, Ryo on bass, and Francesco Arioli on lead guitar.
