FROM ASHES TO NEW’s blend of hard rock, hip-hop, electronic, and alternative music has built them a diverse and dedicated fanbase across the globe. “There’s an exciting immediacy to their sound that recalls the music renaissance of the late 90s and early 2000s… It’s that sweet spot of mass appeal where there’s a little something for everyone, be it From Ashes to New’s hip-hop side, their heavier metallic side, or their arena-sized choruses.” (KNOTFEST)

2023 saw FROM ASHES TO NEW achieve their fifth-ever Top 10-charting rock radio single with “Hate Me Too”—one of “The Most-Played Songs On Rock Radio in 2023” via Loudwire– taken from their critically acclaimed #1-charting concept album BLACKOUT released earlier that year via Better Noise Music. Find BLACKOUT on digital download, CD, vinyl or cassette at https://fatn.ffm.to/blackoutalbum. The group ended the monumental year with album track “Nightmare” peaking at #5 and the completion of a successful U.S. headlining tour with The Word Alive, Catch Your Breath, and Ekoh which concluded with two sold-out shows at their hometown venue, Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center, in Harrisburg, PA.

Earlier this month, FROM ASHES TO NEW dropped a potent new track “Barely Breathing” featuring Chrissy Costanza from Against The Current. Within three weeks the song has received over 3 million streams and over half a million video views while seeing the band achieve 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify. ANGMODNES Stream New Album “Rot Of The Soul” Ahead of Release

Dutch funeral doom metal act ANGMODNES are gearing up to drop their new album “Rot Of The Soul” on March 1st 2024 via Meuse Music Records and Tragedy Productions.

The album is shrouded in despair and shows the band offering their most textured and innovative release to date.

Today, ANGMODNES are premiering the album in its entirety at Invisible Oranges. Stream it at THIS LOCATION.

Earlier this month the single “The Hours” was premiered at Everything Is Noise. Watch the video HERE.

Tracklist:

01. Beneath
02. The Hours
03. Agony Of The Sun
04. Stagnant
05. Rot Of The Soul

ANGMODNES is a doom metal band formed in 2013 in Utrecht (The Netherlands).

The band was formed by the collaboration of Y.S. (Wilds Forlorn, Apotelesma), M.V. (Apotelesma, Koudvuur) and F.S. Tragic, anguished and desperate sounding, ANGMODNES came into being as the despondent offshoot of another band, Apotelesma.

After the well received debut “The Weight Of Eternity”, released in 2022, which featured mostly material written nine years earlier, Y.S. And M.V. found themselves rediscovering a love for all things slow and unexpectedly tapped into a wellspring of inspiration.

Following in the wake of “The Weight Of Eternity”, “Rot Of The Soul” builds upon the style and atmosphere present on the debut while at times venturing beyond the typical territories of doom metal.

Spanning over 55 minutes, it takes the listener on a journey through the mind of someone suffering from severe depression, haunted by existential dread and sinking ever deeper into a mire of negation and worldly rejection.

F.S.
, whose ethereal, haunting vocals could already be heard on “The Weight of Eternity”, lent her voice once more for the new album. With her vocals being such an integral part of the sound of ANGMODNES, it was time to fully bring F.S. into the fold as a band member.

ZOMBEAST return with their heaviest, darkest, and most frenzied material to date – their new album “Heart Of Darkness”! Slated for a release on May 17, 2024 via Massacre Records – licensed from Fiend Force Records – the album will be available as CD Digipak, Ltd. Vinyl LP and Digital formats.

Now, the band has presented a first single taken off “Heart Of Darkness”. Guitarist / Bassist, Jared Smith, comments: “Mario’s lyrics focus on the murderous tirade of Andrei Chikatilo (The Red Ripper) that terrorized Soviet wilderness for over a decade. The music for the song had a darker mood right from the start. It naturally flowed out of me and it made sense for Mario to approach the song lyrically from the darkest perspectives that he could. The way the palm muted verse and driving beat increase the tension until the song erupts into it’s thunderous chorus, it’s one of my favorite songs on the album.”

The new ZOMBEAST track, Red Ripper, is now available on all digital streaming services via https://ffr.lnk.to/zombeastredrippersingle, watch the video clip here:

Influenced by Danzig, AFI, Mercyful Fate, and 80’s punk, death rock, and thrash metal, ZOMBEAST has crafted a perfect crossover blend of dark punk and thrash. The lyrics, written by Mario Montechello, explore everything from the true horrors of life to the occult and lycanthropy. With the addition of Alex Young (lead guitar) and Kyle Smith (drums), this album also breaks new technical ground that’s never been seen before by the band. Thunderous drums and dueling guitars meet iconic vocals on this long-awaited new album – don’t miss “Heart Of Darkness” and pre-order the album now at https://ffr.lnk.to/zombeastheartofdarkness

Tracklist:

  1. Devil’s Whore
  2. Red Ripper
  3. Call Of The Wild
  4. Torso
  5. The Cycle

  8. The Witching Bell
  9. Night Demon
  10. Dark Path

“My Secret Suicide,” a single from MUSIC FROM THE DARK via Wanikiya Record/Promotion, was released on January 29, and today, the project presents the official video clip!

Single “My Secret Suicide”

  • Despair leads to isolation, isolation to depression and despondency, from this dark point in life the Music From The Dark project takes strength +++
  • A deep black soul duo that draws from bands like the cure, paradise lost, katatonia, joy division to unite in a deep sound of sad and decadent torment.
  • “DEPRESSIVE DARK” this is the genre proposed by MUSIC FROM THE DARK +++.
  • To be in a room and never see an exit…to live in the light but see only darkness around you…a single moment of hope…this is ” My Secret Suicide “.

VIDEO EDITING:
Mirko Pradelli
social_beyond_the-highway
Recorded and mixed: Music Inside Studio (MO)

Line up:
MARCO MAGNONI (VOCALS/GUITARS).
Historical voice/guitarist of BLACKAGE with an active record “New world order” released 1998 x Collapse Records. At that time BLACKAGE will back up Cradle of Filth and left for a tour in which they participated in many festivals including Beach bum in Jesolo with headliner Marilyn Manson. There will be participations in other Goth/Dark projects but the idea of reuniting with his old friend and historical drummer “MAX” to found “Music from the dark ” will happen only in 2020 during the black time of covid..
In that forced period of isolation and total darkness came the band’s most decadent and despair-filled pieces.

MAX TOSI (DRUMS)
Born as a drummer in the very early era of Modenese heavy metal. Of clear Classic Metal mold , shares the very first youthful experiences with “MARCO” establishing a friendship that has always been maintained over the years despite different were projects and musical directions. Always belonging to the underground fabric participates in several projects ranging from Classic Metal , Stooner and finally Horror Rock with local bands preferring projects aimed at the creation of original music. From him the idea to start again from a historical friendship, absolutely trusted with which to concretize musical models and approaches now lost in time.

SPECIAL GUEST “My secret suicide “.
Cristian Agnani “Witchunters”(BASS )
DanicannaDani (KEYBOARDS)
